After Static was invited to enter the 'booth' to speak with the owner of the mysterious voice, Rev walked up to Desperado to see what ideas he had concocted.
"Sooo, do we...have a plan?" Rev asked, hesitantly. He almost seemed to be holding his breath in hopeful anticipation, eagerly hoping for anything with a semblance of a good plan...
'Hm...' he mused to himself as he glanced around at the others. As was indicated, it seemed most of the group were up for engaging Static in a fight to deletion. However, Rev hoped there was a much better plan in the works...because he sure hadn't surmised one.

The power shutting off so suddenly was not something that was expected, that much was for sure. But it wasn't the worst thing. They still had the cards, though the others might not notice it. This type of threat was telling in its own sort of way. While certainly a display of control, it gave more information that the figure might have liked. Firstly that really, the ones with the power here were the INDF. Sure the network was shut down, but the base itself had been offline for an extended period of time, its damage wasn't that extensive, a little while of this wouldn't hurt it much... And perhaps another one would notice it as well, assuming this wasn't the one in question. That would have to be explored later perhaps.
But even more important is that it was shown that this... person, whoever they were, couldn't clearly search the network for the data piece they were looking for. No navigators to do it for them. Even if Desperado didn't know where this data was, this was still a great opportunity. Besides, this one didn't seem too friendly either.
"The base will be fine, It was offline for so long to begin with and only suffered minor damage. If he cut off connections we shouldn't worry much about viruses here either. Really what this tells me above anything..."
Desperado turns his attention to the screen, away from his comrades nearby, flustered over the display of power.
"Is that you really can't do anything on your end. You may shut off the network but when it comes down to it, if you could take the data by force you would have already done so. So are we going to start negotiating for real or are we just going to have a standoff here?"
It was clear Desperado didn't care much for Static's answer to the screen. Perhaps his confidence was foolhardy but it felt right here. This static certainly felt like the same, on the net you don't going around making threats, things are too replaceable to mean much. If you take the time to make a threat, its either because you can't take it yourself or you're scared you might lose to whoever you're trying to take it from.

Desparado's words hang in the air as the static-ridden screen flickers a monochromatic light through the darkness. Silence becomes the ruling power in the conversation for a moment, until at last it's broken by a single, quiet sound; a muffled, knowing laugh.
Quite sure of your position in this, aren't you?
The laugh stops as the shadow on the screen leans in slightly, its head cocking slightly to the side as it does so.
Alright then, consider this; why would I go to the length of taking this network offline entirely? If I have the power to do this, then surely I could just lock the network like your new friend here, correct? The simple answer is that it was intended as a subtle clue as to how things could very well turn out; one that you obviously did not pick up on.
The figure's head uncocks as a wave of harsher static rolls across the screeen momentarily.
So allow me to explain; the way that Navi backups currently work is based in two locations; a PET or server-based backup for non-operator Navis, and the Beta server in the government complex. When a Navi is deleted, a signal is sent to the Beta server, which is then relayed to the backup''s current location, allowing a backup to be run. If no deletion signal is sent to the Beta server, backup data cannot be run, and the Navi is considered "lost". Now, as should be obvious, you were unable to send deletion signals to the Beta server, meaning your data is considered lost as long as this server is rendered physically offline in the human-world. I'll let you work out the ramifications from there.
The voice pauses again, now leaning away from the screen once again.
As for what I want out of this little meeting, the answer is simply one of three things; The first is the data. However, since I am willing to take your claims that you don't have it on good-faith, I am willing to forego that option and take your new friend instead. Should both of these offers be declined, then I want to ensure that this Navi is removed from the situation entirely, which means that I'll simply have to have this server physically shipped to a store-house somewhere for the next ten years or so.
And then came yet another pause, this time punctuated by a slightly exasperated sigh.
I would sincerely prefer to not have the latter be the way that this stand-off plays out, as I have no desire to doom you all to slow and painful deaths, but now you hold all of the cards. This situation will play out to my advantage regardless, it's simply a matter of how you steer it now.

Well that answered one thing for certain. Only someone of high enough power could manage to physically ship a server. That would only mean one of two things. A human government official, or more likely, the ONB. Especially with the ability to take this network itself so easily. Still, he had been outmaneuvered in that regard at least. Being unable to restore after deletion would certainly prove problematic. Hopefully the rest of the group would be able to keep their heads on.
"Now I have to wonder... What would the ONB need with this data? Or this navi then? Preventative matters perhaps? No reason to try and hide it at this point, especially considering present company were all gathered to help with the issue your negligence left us with."

Yet another momentary silence, and yet another low laugh trails behind Desparado's words as the screen continues to flicker.
Now what wouldn't the ONB need with this Navi? In case you're unaware, he is directly involved with the Navi by the name of Juno. Of course, I would be more inclined to shed light on the situation if you would kindly deliver him to the booth provided.

Juno he says, well this makes things more interesting. If they're willing to cooperate, there was little reason to do so in kind, despite hostile initial interactions. Once more, a feeling came to Desperado, to attempt to push in with this ONB as much as possible. While not quite on par with his original plan, the feeling was still expected to a degree. If they could work together, it would prove a multi-faceted boon. If the ONB had intended to begin its work again and would work with the INDF, that would certainly raise awareness for the INDF. Something deep within him made him suspicious of the organization however, to be extra wary, something that was influencing him even before perhaps.
"Juno Huh? Well that certainly changes things. I suppose we should see if he wants to defect peacefully then."
Desperado's attention turned back to static, who even despite the conversation still had his spear inches from Desperado's face. Things were beginning to heat up at least, it certainly felt as if a battle, though perhaps quick, might occur for the capture of this Static while the network was cut off, unless of course he came peacefully.

Russet, carrying Kaiser by his arm on his shoulder, appeared behind Dagger with his eyes crackling with murderous intent. All this time unproductively wasted, just for a Navi who lost something he was supposed to guard.
How relieving it would be if he was given the honor to end Static's life today, especially now that he knows he is related to Juno...
The same guy that sent for Deav in Kotobuki.
If he were a human, he'd go for this disturbing scum as well.
He sighed, removing all thoughts of bloodthirst from his mind. He then placed Kaiser beside Dagger.
"Here, watch him for me."
"What?! You do it, meanie! Oh--"
Kaiser's chrome body is full of cracks, and no light shone from his outlines and eyes.
"Hmpf. Fine..."
Dagger wrapped Kaiser in one of his wings, immolating him with blue, healing flames.
Russet himself stood, closing his eyes, trying to find any accessible connection outside of the server; hopefully the one that connects this... Human... To them.
Three of his Sensor-like pets did the same, stationed in the other faces of the facility. One more hovers up above the facility, observing the terrain like an eagle's eye.
There's nothing else he could do now but find and wait. He'd want to see his operator again; he's been away for a long time.
It can be seen that a cannon would pretentiously appear on his right arm; its fulfilled appearance only suppressed by Russet's will not to fire a barrage on Static right now.

Fulgur blinks, looking up at Des S he moves the young navi aside to step into the circle and walking up to Static, exchanging words with him, Rosario agreeing. Then the area shuts down, a voice demanding the data.He tenses, brow furrowing.
What to do....Hearing Dagger's wails, Ful walks over to pat him reassuringly on the shoulder, glancing around. Where was it...No where...He glances at the figure as it seems to switch its mind, asking for Static instead. Was this figure a human?
Either way, he felt uneasy to force Static to enter that booth, even if it is just a talk.As Revved goes to talk things out with Des, he watches. He wasn't sursd what to do...
Then Des begins interacting with the human. Ful watches, blinking at one important part. This figure....was a ONB.Then he processes what was said. Permanent.... Deletion?! He gulps. That wasn't good. And Juno?! Fulgur stood by Dagger, standing guard as he heals up Kaiser.

The shadow of arms crossing plays across the screen as the figure leans back, breaking the silence and angst once again with another statement.
Patience may be a virtue, but time is far more valuable. It would be mutually beneficial if you were to make your decision fairly soon. I'd rather that our meeting end on a high note if possible.
Silence drops once again, giving way only to the sound of scraping, shearing metal beyond the dark borders of visibility.

After a while of terrain analysis, Russet turns to Des and responds.
"Let's turn Static over to him. He's a servant of Juno and we're facing a deranged government official. We don't have a choice."
Gloomily, Dagger followed, still with a sleeping Kaiser within his wing.
"I-I don't have an objection to that... Both of them scare me..."

Static enters the box, glancing in the direction of the Looming Shadow before cautiously stepping towards the green box.
"I know little more of Juno than you do, Mr. Voice-From-The-Sky. Though..." Static's voice became raspy then, barely audible under a torrent of noise. "I imagine I know quite a deal more than you."
With a wink visible under his obsidian black visor, Static stepped into the box.

And, with that, the booth shuts itself and the figure on the screen obviously relaxes in satisfaction.
?: I'm sure that you do in regards to Juno. for the rest....
The voice trails off, leaving the answer in silence. The booth's green glow turns bright red and disappears from sight in a instant, leaving pure darkness in its wake.
Thank you all for your cooperation. Now, allow me to shed some light on the situation, as I promised...
The server shifts and whirs quietly, restoring power, opening doors, and returning the server to internet access. The final bits to come fully online are the meeting room where this entire exchange had taken place, and the static-ridden screen; the later of which slowly begins to clear....
