Heavy breathing filled the air. What had happened... had not actually happened.
Effigy, the shadow, was not really powerful enough to flip a tank. No one was.
The D REX was a machine that the INDF had no chance of fighting against. It was hopeless.
The only hope for them was to expediate the process of their dispersal - but now...
The D Rex was neither flipped, nor in the air, nor had it ever been.
All just an illusion, made to save.
With a few final huffs, The Effigy regained its strength, and looked solemnly towards the D REX.
It was evident Gate would use it again. It was evident that it would continue destroying the network.
Until no amount of smoke and mirrors could take that back.
What was a smile eternal turned to a solemn frown.
The network was going down.
No more mirrors.
Just smoke.

Time was gone, and so was hope. Gravity Beetle lacked the ability to defend against this thing any longer, and nothing could stop the inevitable. With one final action, the onyx-shelled ONB commander parts his wings and flies as quickly as he can, scooping up any remaining Navis in the area and escaping to the sky to leave the wreckage to its new master.
Gravity Beetle: Sharo ONB Base>Com Square
With nothing left to stop it, the D-Rex destroys unopposed. Like a living wrecking ball, the behemoth smashes the entire complex to rubble, leaving behind absolutely nothing salvageable or worth returning for. With its mission complete, the demolition engine beams out in a huge tower of light, leaving nothingness in its wake.
<Mission abandoned. The Sharo ONB base has been demolished>
