The invite that had not been seen in so long at last goes out again! Navis from both far and wide gather in Element City, where a simple, white dome has been erected in the shadow of the many limestone buildings. Crowds from across the globe gather for this wonderful event; some to participate, but far more simply to watch! No matter when, no matter where, the joy of SIMON says is always a good time!
Inside of this dome, a small group gathers as the crowd cheers on. Encased within what appears to be a glass dome separating them from the spectators, they await their host's words.... and they don't have to wait long!
In the dead center of this circus-tent like dome, a small being appears. Little more than a white half circle that rises from the ground with a simple, line-art smiley face. The simple little being is met with cheers and applauds as he rises no more than four feet from the ground and looks on with a smile, appearing as if a sentient punching bag.
Good evening everyone, and welcome!
The voice sounds of kin to a small boy, with excitement to match his tone.
Thank you all so much for responding to my invitation! I am the Singularly Intelligent Monitoring and Observation Navi, or SIMON for short!
Above simon, a set of monitors appear, each one displaying the name and picture of a contestant for the event.
Simon: I have invited all of you here today for the sake of gathering combat data. Or, as you might have guessed by my name, I want to monitor and observe you!
Simon laughs like a child and spins in place, causing the monitors to disappear.
Simon:I am going to request that all of you perform a specific task, and then give you either a pass or fail for that task. At the end of our game, I will give you rewards based on your performance. Some tasks will be easy, others will be hard, but don't worry too much; even if you fail a task you will still be rewarded in the end. There will be seven stages to our game, and the way that each stage works will be unique, so don't tire out!
Simon pauses for a moment, his simple smile ever present as he rocks back and forth a few times in enjoyment.
Simon: Oh, and speaking of tiring out; don't worry too much about deletion, cooldown, or skill uses. If you're deleted then you will be revived at the start of the following turn, and I will refresh you from time to time as we go. But don't rely on it too much, as there may be times when I push your limits without warning you first. Also, keep in mind that on most turns you'll be entirely on your own; you won't be able to give or receive help from others.
Simon's smile widens greatly as he seems to hop in place in excitement, anticipating the game to come.
Simon: Now, let's begin by having all of our contestants introduce themselves!
A cheer rises from the crowd as Simon spins in place and disappears, allowing the spotlight to break into multiple beams, each one moving to a Navi in the arena.
RULES AND REGULATIONS Please make sure that you read these and ask any questions that you may have before the first turn!
The basic rules are outlined in the roleplay above. Each turn you will be asked to perform a specific task, and you will be expected to perform said task in a single battle post.
Bonus items such as EXP tokens are not usable here. Players may each enter a single Navi. One post will be made for SIMON every day or second day, and missing a turn will count as an automatic fail for that turn, even if the Navi in question could perform the assigned task without making any actions. RP is optional, and temporary approval is given to all Navis who enter this battle for this battle. However, if we feel that you are abusing this temporary approval, you will be kicked from the event
Important: At the very bottom of your post, you are required to post your Navi's name followed by either pass or fail. Example:
Normal Navi: Pass
Failure to do so will result in an automatic fail.
The games begin on December 7th, no additional Navis will be allowed to enter after this date!
The cackling maniac's spotlight seemed to get absorbed into the never ending shadow permeating from his very being. All that could be seen through the haunting veil was his dark, glowing red eyes, and whisps of crimson sputtering out from some strange vortex where his heart should be.
"Khw-ahahewhwhahawhawbwhaha! StrifeMan, StrifeMan, that is what you may call me! Ooooh-ho, I do love games!"
Labrys rode her axe into the spotlight like a hoverboard, followed behind by a metal angel familiar nearly twice her size, and stayed floating as Labrys touched ground, re-connecting her axe to her back compartment.
"I suppos' it's time for som' educational disciplin'!"

Asymptote lumbered into the area, his bloodshot eyes looking back and forth at the others that had shown up. His body shaking as he could feel a shot of adrenaline kick through his system. Asymptote, keep on your toes. I don't know who this "SIMON" is, but I'd rather not have any incidents. So try to keep yourself calm, alright? Joseph would verbally warn his navi. He was a little apprehensive about letting his navi out onto the networks like this...but there was no harm in it...right?
I shall be joining in this. The oversized and usually quiet navi would say in turn, his eyes still slowly going about left and right, almost fearfully for what will come.
