The barrier’s shattering remnants were nothing compared to her world…
Her anguish made her unresponsive to the barrier shattered, but her attention remained upon Gravity Beetle who seemed to charge her. She stood ready, almost as if to counter his attack, but a sweeping U-Turn left her standing still…and off guard. Whether by sheer dumb luck or perfect teamwork, Megami was suddenly struck at many points by Genesis’s stone tendrils. Right torso, left leg, center of the chest…all of them hit true and left Megami crucified and slumped over.
It seemed that she was immobile…pinned…defeated…
“Megami…” Xenneth had seemed to have a mixture of anguish and relief. His friend was stopped, but at what cost? The violet haired boy stared at the screen, and it was only Unity’s suggestion that brought his attention back to his very own P.E.T. “You’re right. I will disconnect Megami from me…just for a little while…but you will have to-”
”My dear, would you kindly do away with those nuisances? They're getting in the way of your game.”
The voice from Caliga was dreadful. It made Xenneth completely forget Megami was immobilized as he looked at the screen of his P.E.T. He was lucky that he had done so…but soon, regretful.
At that moment, a vile brimming aura moved among Megami’s right hand and coursed up her arm that came to life. The arm motioned to the chest of the female NetNavi, curling her hand around the stone fragment that stabbed itself at her chest. With one grasp, the stone crumbled itself to pieces as if it was a cookie turning into crumbs. The rest of the rocky stalagmites followed suit as Megami’s leg and stomach shifted slightly to make the pieces of rock turn into a dust much looser than ash. It was then that Megami’s battered body revealed it to be overflowing with a dark aura that was rising from her like a pure vile black smoke. The remnants of this strange matter had begun to cloud together around the body of the female NetNavi having a twisted and wicked face: a grin that let out a primal roar comparable to anguish and spaces of the face that made it seem like there were three eyes that could have wept from misery.
“What…is that?” Xenneth stared in awe towards the monitor’s display, “Is that inside…Megami?”
Xenneth did not know, but he was staring literally into a dark soul…
Familiar, but different, this Dark Soul’s tortured face vanished almost instantly, but it was enough to show what pain and madness was within Megami. Even then, her labored and tired voice whispered something lowly…
“Dark Chips…in, downloading…”
“No!” Xenneth cried, “I have to hurry!”
Xenneth knew he could no longer waste time try to comprehend what was happening, and so he made haste following Unity’s directions. He quickly attempted to cut the link from his Advanced P.E.T., deactivating the connection to limit the battlechip folder, but within mid progression. His eyes had looked on in dismay seeing that there was a large percentile of data transferred to Megami during the battle. It was most likely with the spare time she defensively warded off attacks that she was taking in the data from the P.E.T, and from Xenneth’s look of dismay…he knew what was to come next…
“I was too late…”
Megami was surrounded by three glowing rectangular forms covered in a blue aura that sparkled radiantly. With one touch of her reaching index finger from her right hand, that blue aura surrounding these items became tainted purple, contaminated by the pulsating dark soul fluming from her body. With another reach, she grasped in her palm the item revealing it to be a chip, and with one squeeze, crushing it as a bright light burst forth revealing a twin set of child-looking NetNavis that came forth and stood before Megami in what seemed like an outfit for a set of jesters.
“She’s using Navi Chips…but something is different about them...”
With one of the twins lifting a mallet twice the size of his body, he slammed it into the ground as the rubble was lifted into the air by a torrent of rushing water that escaped the smashing point of the weapon’s impact area. It made it seem like a dam broke in the center of Element City! It struck the building with multiple altitudes and overwhelming force as four waves attempted to level a single block. With the twirl of a spear twice as long as her body, the second twin spun the weapon in a circular motion until it seemed like electricity danced around her fingers. With a swift cross slash in front of this young twin, a bolt of lightning had begun to drop from a black cloud that spilled into the atmosphere as if the darkened sky had an open rift.
Above Serix and Gravity Beetle, it was apparent what was forming with them at the epicenter. Whipping winds that spun around the building, water that was carried as ripping tides on the turbulent air, and nimbus clouds that whirled together made a cone-shaped body of a tornado and they would be the eye. Whether the Joes or the NetNavis lived through it was irrelevant, just that she made them all disappear…even if it meant the tornado would rip them to pieces with twisted metal, rubble, and glass shards turning the cyclone into a blender.
“Unity-san! You have to work fast!” Xenneth cried urgently, “Hurry before Megami uses anymore of those strange Dark Chips!”
With one single chip influenced by the darkness, Megami had started to live up to the name of a Goddess as she created a perfect storm at the epicenter of the city. The roar of thunder from the inside of the storm behind her lit up the vortex revealing with it the shadows of helpless souls it ensnared in its funneled fury. Megami’s attention turned to the NetNavis before her that remained, assuming that Gravity Beetle were either deleted or mangled beyond recognition; she did not care.
With an open hand, Megami revealed her palm to the three remaining NetNavis before her. As massive as it was, a shadow emerged from the cyclone as it seemed the remains of the building that was split in half by the raging thunder came flying towards the group of NetNavis as two large projectiles. The impact of the concrete goliaths caused a tremor upon hitting the terrain, but that did not stop their tumble as they rolled forth intending to bowl over Genesis and bury GlassMan and Iria in their concrete tomb by decimating the ground they took cover behind.
The images of the twins faded, leaving Megami with two of the glowing chips once more floating before her, and only time would tell before what other unearthly disaster she would unleash by grasping another.

*He had made contact just fine. In fact, he had made more contact than he had expected to. The waves hadn't actually been expected to land spot on along with his following attack. He would have to adjust accordingly then, knowing that this still wasn't over so soon. That would be much too simple if so, really. He couldn't see what was happening thanks to the barricade he made for himself, instead relying on the human that he could hear speaking then and what he could possibly feel himself. The human had been too late, it seemed. It was here that he more 'felt' what happened next as the rushing water slammed into the building head on. Even with the fortifications he could feel it crumbling, taking this time to scale the building and get over the waves and to the top then. From here it looked like Serix and Gravity Beetle were the target for the darkened clouds, chains launching from his legs to anchor himself on the building he now stood at the top of. He then moved to his next phase, launching a chain from his arm to latch around the beetle that was holding Serix, pulling with all of his strength after in an attempt to get them out of the ensuing madness before it could begin and tossing the energy sword he was wielding at them.*
*His footing was poor for the job though, feeling the building he was at trembling as he watched the veritable storm that was decimating the one that the other two had been at before. The sword he tossed changed into energy then, forming around them as a barrier to buffer against any blows they may take on transit to where he wanted to put them, namely on another building that was not the one that he was on. He was glad that his plan had not been to keep them with him, in fact, given what came next. The tremor that the remnants of the tossed building caused made the building he was on begin to collapse at last, going down with it. He detached the chain that he used to toss the other two out of range and braced himself as best he could for what came next, lifting his arms and catching the concrete tomb that was launched his way. The result of this had been that he was sent flying along with it, taken off from his anchored position and crashing into some of the water nearby, as he skid along with it, parting the water as he was pushed back.*
"Argh!"
*It wasn't long before he couldn't keep the building held back, losing his footing as it slammed down into him in full in a thunderous roar that bellowed outward. But not long after did the former building tremble, lightning sparking through it before a tornado of pure power ripped through it, blowing it apart as Genesis had formed another weapon in hand, on a knee at this point before he started to stand back up. That could have gone better in a lot of ways honestly, but he was still alive at least.*
"If she could overcome Caliga's control this would be much simpler. But no one has been able to do so when he's devoted his attention to them. Not on their own, at least."
*But he didn't know how to reach out to her either. The damage that he had taken started to mend itself too, holding up his left hand as the power started to gather within it as well. He fired the blast out, several more blasts following it in a volley toward Megami. They all didn't have that much destructive strength on their own, only when he lifted the sword again did the power flare again, swinging his arm as the sword unleashed a swath of destruction to tear through the water and at Megami, this happening several times with the intention of destroying the tornado that was raging before the next attack could make the situation worse as well.*

After all that transpired, Serix cooled her head a bit.....maybe a little too much as the glow that permeated her body switched from a mix of yellow, white, and orange to a pale blue mixed with white. At the same time, she melted the chains that bound her to Gravity Beetle before standing and offering him a hand.
"So, looks like we need to take back our home. That's after this, though. Tell me, can you somehow make me super-dense? I have an idea as to how we might change the tides, so to speak. If you could make me really dense, and then launch me at the checkerboard, i may be able to finish this."
Serix then started heating herself up again, though this time, a sword matching her own color pattern formed in each hand. As she heated, her body and weapons changed color. From blue to purple, and then to her natural red. Once she reached red, two wings of flame emerged from her back. They grew to a wingspan of about four feet before they stopped and her color continued shifting. Her flames, however, would not harm any member of the ONB that she deemed friendly.

This place was becoming more and more of a disaster-zone by the minute! They'd really have to do something about Megami or there really would be nothing left of the city...but staying on defense apparently wasn't the answer-!
As the vicious tornado burst into existence,Glassman (with Iria in tow once more) dashed from their spot behind the remaining slab of building. There wasn't too much cover left in this sector of the city, not with all the current destruction AND the raging storm...he'd have to do something about that.
Moving quickly,Glassman retreated behind a partially destroyed building and discreetly placed Iria on the ground.
"Shakeem, send me the Magma-fist. We'll hide her for now and hopefully help deal with this." Glassman spoke, kneeling down next to Iria to stay hidden for even a moment.
Glassman's right-hand was suddenly coated in molten lava and he performed a downward punch into the pavement, pouring his strength into it. The result was a 7 foot deep hole into the ground. Without wasting a minute,Glassman lowered Iria into the hole with one of his much-used chains, raising to the surface afterwards. He only hoped she'd be out of harm's way at that spot.
...amidst that brief moment of planning,Glassman hadn't noticed the two slabs of building that demolished their previous cover.
Slipping away from his current position,Glassman passed behind several large slabs of rock and had attempted to stop at a spot where 'Dark Megami' wasn't facing...whether he managed to avoid being undetected was yet to be known. He hoped he'd been passed off as buried for now...
From behind yet another slab of stone,Glassman glanced down at the ground before him and then had an idea. Though it was a long shot,to say the least...
Utilizing his laser element,Glassman's eyes lit up and traced a rectangular shape about 2 feet into the pavement, forming two large rectangles of stone. Next,he summoned forth two large vines from beneath them, raising them about a foot off the ground.
Maintaining his focus,Glassman peeked at the swirling funnel of chaos and glowed a faint blue as he called upon even more of his strength than usual. He then formed a cannon on-hand and fired a powered-up shot at the tornado's base, following it up with a regular shot from the same cannon.
Jumping over the slab,Glassman ran towards the tornado, with both vines rising skyward, wrapped around the two fresh slabs of pavement. As Glassman advanced both vines snaked around the tornado and slammed the stone walls down into the ground in a V-formation directly behind Megami.
Keeping his barrier erect,Glassman leaned forward as he dashed around the furious twister...even if shards of debris hit his barrier,he wasn't going to stop!
Skidding to a halt,Glassman summoned chains from the two walls, attempting to bind her arms, legs and her body.
"Hey,listen! I'm sure you're in a lot of pain right now,but you've GOT to keep fighting!" he began, walking toward her. "We all know you can do this! You've got friends here who want you back, your family and most of all...YOUR OPERATOR! SO FIGHT! HARDER THAN YOU'VE EVER FOUGHT BEFORE! don't give into that corrupt power! WE BELIEVE IN YOU! DO.NOT.GIVE.UP!"
...unfortunately,he knew he wasn't very strong at all,not with words, nor power. but he had to try-! The whole city and getting her back depended on them...! And if they failed...he didn't even wish to consider failure...

Once the Navi known as Vile had retreated, or been deleted, or whatever had happened to him, and the rules had 'changed,' a single Navi who had been trying to get in suddenly found himself able. Not thinking of the consequences, he had done so.
The place he had come into was...well, it looked like Element City, at least kind of. Fog had been here a couple of times before and everything looked the same...mostly.
He heard several other navi talking and began to realize that the streets weren't quite as...full as they normally were and moved toward them, or at least had started to. That was when everything went black, and he had tried to hide but a creepy clown-like face had told him to play the game and so he'd ran around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to do...whatever it was he was supposed to do when the darkness lifted.
Trembling, he walked a little closer to the voices when suddenly an enormous storm seemed to come out of nowhere, and two of the buildings nearby exploded, causing Fog to dart away from the falling debris, actually ending up only a few short feet from the one who was shouting encouragement at the woman who seemed to be doing the exploding.
"What's going on?" he called out to the navi in front of him. "Who are you? Who is she? What is that?" he asked like a machinegun. "I don't wanna die!"

Iria (So lengthy you two)
Having snapped back to reality and now inside a hole, Iria weighs her options. Caliga is in complete control of whatever he can see. Maybe not what he can't? All she needed was his location.
From where she is now Iria couldn't accurately gauge Caligas location. A quick peak will fix it however the hole was very deep however. A few light hops and the officer breeches the ground just barely. Enough to see the chaos, and the man himself still stewing in his own fangirlish laughter.
Despite the tight fight her hideout the motion for her surprise attack is simple enough to perform. Mimicking the same swing as before Iria uppercuts the air; Simultaneously the same light as before breaks the ground beneath Caliga attempting to blast him with a fist of justice!

Saved from Megami's onslaught, gravity Beetle does his best to stand, his systems already repairing him as he moves. It seems obvious to him that the focus had changed from Megami to Caliga, but he couldn't help but wonder about the wisdom of such a move; it could very likely be a fool's errand; especially Serix' request.
Gravity Beetle: Throw you at the clown?
Gravity Beetle turns back to the fire Navi with a puzzled look on his face.
Gravity Beetle: I can't increase your density, but I can increase the amount that gravity pulls on you. And yes, I know that's not how it works in the real world. But that aside, it's suicide at best; Caliga's stronger than all of us combined. If you couldn't stop Megami, you're not going to make a dent on him!
The obsidian shelled Navi was fed up with hail-Mary plays; there had to be a way to end this without sacrificing one or all of them... wait.
Gravity Beetle: Hey! Little voice trying to hack Megami!
Within his dark prison, Unity's ears perk up. His work halts for a moment and he looks out over the battlefield.
Unity: Me?
Knowing very well that Caliga would be able to hear him, but also knowing that it wouldn't matter, Gravity Beetle bellows out his order loud-and-clear.
Gravity Beetle: Stop hacking the girl and trace whatever's on her back to Caliga! Go on the offensive and HACK HIM INSTEAD!
Unity blinks for a few moments, wondering why he hadn't thought of that earlier. However, he snaps out of his shock quickly and gets to work without delay.
Unity: On it!
Gravity Beetle then looks back to Caliga and motions for Serix to take cover as he does the same.
Gravity Beetle: Get yourself ready. If the kid can pull this off, we might get our chance to hit back...
Such stupidity... the very thought that he could be taken off-guard was little more than entertaining. Iria bursts through the ground and is met by a very ready Caliga, who deftly avoids her every blow with a smile.
Caliga: Really now? Do you honestly think that that's enough to get to me? You're going to have to-HRK
.....pain? What? While occupied with Iria's move, Caliga had ignored Unity's attempts to hack him. Yet, somehow, the kid had gotten through! While the effects weren't great, they were of kin to a fairly bad headache, and caused him to lose focus. Grasping his head with one claw, the Black Diamond can feel his anger growing, and knows that he's more vulnerable than before... so, one last thing to do.
Caliga: Megami, please be a dear and MURDER THESE INSECTS!!

"Yeah, nice try."
Hundreds of firebrands appeared above Serix, all pointed at Caliga.
"So, think you can make these things fly faster?"
As she said this, the blades of flame started flying at the checkered jester.
"We are the ONB, We do not falter in the face of danger. We do not negotiate with terrorists. And we will not let you have your way."
Each blade was about two feet in length, with a width of four inches, and a thickness of half an inch. As they flew, the blades changed color with Serix, as did their heat levels. Serix kept getting hotter and brighter until she burned a bright white again, to the point of blinding anyone that looked directly at her or her blades, except members of the ONB.

As Serix lets fly her attack, Gravity Beetle stands tall, reaches his hand forward, and clenches his fist tightly with a surge of black energy. In response, the blades stop in mid-air and become engulfed in a similar energy, as if frozen in time. Not missing a beat, Gravity Beetle then tightens his muscles and thrusts his now opened palm forward with a loud grunt, releasing his power and causing Serix' attack to fly once again; each blade now moving twice as fast and weighing twice as much as before.

________________________________________________________
The pain was mounting...but it was emotional, not physical.
Her body was breaking, but she did not care. The fight within Megami’s mind was drowning the very feeling of her nerves as she fought her former allies. The Onyx Overlord’s assault was met with a furious counter from her own explosive attack! Her right and left hands were emitting a bright brimming energy that became twisted and dark. Even with her mind in such a chaotic state, she was still able to use her pure signature attack, Divinity Sphere, but the light had become dull and tainted as purple spheres of darkness that raced towards the explosive rounds that met with them and nullified them as Megami kept firing forth.
“...overclock!”
Oh...and she still had Unity’s power to abuse.
Megami’s hands moved as she seemed to become part machine in her assault. Her eyes focused and her hands racing as she let off an explosive rapid fire wave of the spheres. Her speed increasing with each drain of Unity’s own power, and her eyes were not satisfied until there was nothing left in front of her instead of dust that was going to be a mixture of glass from the local Net Smooth Shop, a corporate meeting building, and Genesis’s very ashes!
*CLINK!!!*
There was something clearly standing between her and that.
Megami’s right hand was bound so suddenly, and she was focused on Genesis so she did not take notice. All of Caliga’s desire were her primary goal now. However, it could not be met. As quickly as she tried to react to one arm being bound, there was then her other arm to follow, her left leg, her right leg, her torso! The extremes by GlassMan were well prepared and Megami found herself bound entirely. The tornado behind her was subsiding only because of the opaque NetNavi and the Overlord’s assault, but it left its chaotic effects on the field. There were shallow pools of water, the field was wet, and not to mention...Megami’s hair was ruined.
The Goddess NetNavi’s face was covered by the wet chestnut brown bangs, and her body slumped as if defeated. That did not last long as with one pop of her wrist, one of the chains holding her right hand broke almost instantly...but with some minor injury to her wrist. She begun to move once more, but...
...You've got friends here who want you back, your family and most of all...YOUR OPERATOR!
She hesitated.
Time stopped, or at least it seemed like it judging how she was stuck in place. The female NetNavi was quiet, her face was unseen, but it seemed like something was wrong! She should have escaped and continued her rampage, but thoughts were fighting back at that moment. Even now, she was asking “What did someone know of her operator?” This individual? It was only moments ago that it was his strength and Megami’s that allowed that combination that saved them both from peril of Vile. Was it because of that, was that the reason he dared call her...a friend?
Once again, the two remaining chips floated before Megami as if beckoning to be used, to unleash their chaos! However, something was different...they glowed not a twisted purple aura, but a gentle glowing blue.
------------------------------ “Boy!” a voice beckoned from Xenneth’s P.E.T., catching his attention, Use us!
Those voices were familiar to Xenneth. Even with the black smog of darkness displaying on his P.E.T., there was something beyond Unity that glowed brightly in the twisted black void. Two lights, one green and one red, had seemed to try to fight the darkness away from within Megami. However, the glow was faint, and Xenneth could barely see it.
“We are a part of Megami as well,” a gentle voice came from the P.E.T, “While control from the darkness is weak, use us to reach her! We’ll commune with her and take her back from this darkness!” -------------------------------
There was a brief moment where there was no fight from Megami, no struggle, no movement. There was one of the chips that gone to her as it glowed brightly and brimmed with an aura that brimmed so bright and furious the next moment that it seemed like the chip was almost on fire. “Do not worry, Megami.” a voice said coming from the chip, “We shall dispel this darkness. This power we felt you should not use now, but we have no choice. We only have faith that you can use it properly.”
The aura was cleansing from the chip, and with how close GlassMan walked towards her, surely he could feel it!
There was a cleansing bright flash coming from the Mega Chip, and another was coming from Megami as her and the chip seemed to be merging with each other’s data. They were, in some way, becoming one! Megami’s body was motionless, but her mouth parted. A sound that was serene was coming from her lips, maybe one unlike any other since this chaos started. Gently, she sounded for someone desperately. “Xen...kun...” The chip drawn closer, preparing to make contact...
“ Megami, please be a dear and MURDER THESE INSECTS!!”
*CRUNCH!!!*
That voice returned...
Megami’s right hand that was free reached out and snatched the chip from the air, crunching it in her palm. The aura that was washing over them became tainted with purple. Emerging from behind her was the wicked face of a dark soul with its mournful roars. Megami’s head lifted, her hair parting slightly to show that empty stare towards GlassMan and the tears that were with it. That voice reminding her she was alone had returned, her pain returned, the urge to purge everything emotional and from the physical had returned again!
“Chaos Unison...Valkyrie Chaos...”
The chip in Megami’s grasp had erupted with the aura once more, beginning to swallow the blinding light that erupted from Serix’s body. The swords that were dropping had become suddenly been deflected towards many directions in the area: some back towards their aggressors, some straying towards even Genesis, and some towards the nearby areas in Element City that had torn through structures like knives cutting through butter. The deflection of the weapons had added power thanks to an array of strange shields that were branded with a green cross similar to that of a familiar Battlechip, but something was different about them as they almost seemed like they were projected holographic and coated with a green energy.
The stone structures that bound Megami with the chains were reduced to rubble by one of the swords, and the other had a vine wrapped around it that squeezed it until it was reduced to nothing but a bunch of cracking rubble only standing because the compressing plant-life wanted it to stand. The very same thorny-vines erupted through elements city cutting through the streets like saw-blades as they grew within the battle area: some grew through the buildings as they shattered glass and stone, others entangled themselves around stray NetNavis, and attempted to pierce themselves through NetNavis. Gravity Beetle Iria, and Serix were not safe as the vines appeared from under the ground thrusting itself from one spot, arching its form, and driving itself into another part of the ground seeming to act in a parasitic manner to curl themselves around any and everything.
GlassMan, who was too close to Megami was the only one who seemed safe for that moment, or at least for a second. As the plant-life was at ground zero to what they were reacting to, he was close enough to see Megami’s gruesome form. Her body had become adorned with a metallic armor that was thick. The plating was large enough to protect her and cuffed around her ankles, wrists, and upper body while a black leather was what coveted her exposed body except her neck. Her head was adorned with a head band that coveted her head, and all of these pieces of metal were colored a dark purple that was probably displaying its corruption from the Dark Soul.
“S=she...looks like Agia!“” Xenneth uttered, “Megami can absorb Navi Chip data? I-I didn’t know that!”
"Nooo!" the voice roared from Xenneth's P.E.T. in a rage, "This was not supposed to happen! That darkness in her has twisted the power!"
The headband had seemed to drop a single lens over the right eye of Megami that seemed to display a cursor on its front. At that moment, Megami’s right arm changed into a large, rounded metal arm with small openings going around its front. She lifted it slowly to reveal the gentle glow that was coming from it and it roared to life as it begun to spin in a circle.
“I know this attack...”
The terrain seemed to act as if it was submitting the Megami as the area had begun to quake. The city was rumbling, and each and every vine attached to the ground was pulsing with a green light that raced from one end of the plant to the next. Megami’s very armor was glowing brighter with each of these pulses. GlassMan was so close that he would get the brunt of the attack, but a second cursor was appearing on Megami’s visor showing that she was aiming for someone who was additionally in her line of fire: Genesis.
“You have to dodge!” Xenneth cried out, “Please get out of the way before she fires!”
The sound of the weapon was a powerful whirl as if a power plant was roaring to life. At that moment, the weapon that was spinning had begun to erupt from the base of Megami’s wrist with a bright green burst, “Mana Stream!” and the front an even bigger blast as a concentrated blast of green light erupted wildly from in front of Megami aiming to wash away everything in its wake. The rubble that was before her was swept away in the blast of life energy, but also disintegrated in the process.
Whether the Onyx Overlord and the Glass-made NetNavi would be a part of the chaos was another question.

*That overclock ability wasn't helping any here, having to keep up his own offense while she sped up and keep pace with her. Thanks to the timely interference of GlassMan he was able to deal with one threat at least. And because of this his attack halted as well, mostly so as to not strike GlassMan and to see the results of what he said. He noticed the hesitation and had to assume that the words were getting through to her. It looked like things were going well... until he heard Caliga's voice again, for good reason mind you. He had heard Gravity Beetle's shout over his own fighting. In all honesty he wasn't targeting Caliga because that wasn't his objective here. One could even go so far as to argue that he needed him to stick around at the moment. But he knew that he had to start moving now, proceeding to begin to close the gap between them from behind GlassMan. She had crushed the one that was talking like the other chips before now and the swords that Serix had fired were deflected, planning to ignore them as he raised his arm to block whichever ones did come his way.*
*Of course that was if they had their original power. His eyes caught the swords, or some of them anyway, cut through the buildings with relative ease, coming to a pause to better brace himself as the sword he held faded, flowing through him and covering his left arm in a black aura to further strengthen itself. The swords struck him, cutting into the armor as he took a few steps back to avoid some of them narrowly. The ones that struck had embedded themselves into the armor, calling forth another energy blade as he brought it upon the blades in his left arm, tearing them apart as they shattered like glass. He shot off at a much swifter speed next, noticing the growing vines after as he weaved around them, aiming to get into his comfort zone in terms of fighting. Megami had completed her transformation by this point, GlassMan her likely target thanks to the proximity he had to her. He could hear the human telling them that they had to dodge the attack... well, he supposed he should adhere to what he said then. He would try to redirect the attack. The symbol of a star flashed behind Genesis as the transformation happened in an instant, the Onyx Overlord engulfed in a blinding light. Chains fired out from the dome however that were aimed to wrap around the weapon she was planning to fire.*
*He moved the arm to have the chains move accordingly, aiming to have the weapon fire upward instead. While this had the possibility of hitting New Life, he assumed it would be fine if such an event actually happened. The light faded, revealing Genesis in the second state, Testimony. Purple eyes had become a dull scarlet, his onyx black armor having a white outline of energy coursing through it, an azure blue aura over the sword that he was wielding at the time. The chains had the same white and azure blue running through them, the ground itself also launching up as spikes beneath the weapon to support his efforts, working around the vines that were going about the city as they saw fit now. If he could redirect it that would be save them the trouble of anyone taking the blast at all, also taking this form so he would take the least harm possible as well should the plan fall through. He had set up precautions for this though in his previous wave of attacks. The dark field that engulfed the battlefield pulsed for a moment, but nothing come of it all the same.*
"...Hey, human!? I appreciate the information, but she's your partner at the time, is she not? You have to get through to her. Or are you content with the idea of her disappearing from your life forever?"
*While he was excellent on the defensive mind you he certainly wasn't one who would stick to it the entire time. He would have to start devoting himself truly to his offensive prowess soon. To accomplish this without any of them dying was something he never quite expected to happen from the beginning. But to keep her out of harm's way at the same time and get the object inside of her? If they couldn't get her to cease what she was doing... then that was all there was to it. He would have to try and get the objective the brutal way instead.*

As Serix's blades passed through her, she couldn't help but laugh at Megami and Caliga.
"Oh this is to much. Using fire? Against me? I'm made of the stuff! So yeah, use more fire!"
She kept laughing as she absorbed the incoming blades, replenishing her energy as she stepped in front of GB to keep him from getting hit by her attack.
"We need a new plan of attack."
She mumbled this to him as she re-absorbed more of her own energy.

“Of course not!” Xenneth retorted to Genesis, “I-I just...”
He had to admit, they seemed to have had a great contingency plan. The city was not leveled, nor were themselves harmed by the attack. If anything, Megami had seemed planted firmly as she fired the stream upward towards New Life making an unexpected swing of her weapon. This meant that danger was averted, but with the cracking terrain under her feet from the power of the attack, the violet haired boy knew she would try again soon...and he knew something else as well.
“Megami!” Xenneth cried, “Stop this right now! You’re the one usually coming to rescue ME! I’m the one who needs your help all the time! I’m the one who usually gets bullied into doing things I don’t want to do by clowns and ugly guys! I need you, Megami! I don’t ever want things to be the other way around!”
The female NetNavi seemed to be frozen in her pose after firing her weapon, but Xenneth knew that would not last long. His lips, twisting slightly, knew he had to do something! Everyone was fighting and yet he was doing nothing but panicking and watching. He had to do more! Reaching to his satchel, Xenneth had taken a single chip, placed it in the edge of his Advanced P.E.T. armlet and loaded it. It became one of the displayed chips and at that moment, he started to dial upon his P.E.T.
“I think I-I...I mean...” his voice sounding throughout the reaches of the battle area within Element City, and a sudden clear of his thaoat “AHEM! I know what I can do! I’m reconnecting Megami to the P.E.T! this means she will have access to Battlechips again, but it also means I will have access to her...in my own way. But I need everyone to take care of her first...”
The boy took a deep breath, one that could be heard near the mic. His voice seemed somewhat distraught, but yet, determined.
“The last chip Megami hasn’t used yet, I think I have an idea of what it is! It’s called Amaterasu-Okami, and it has the power to level the rest of the city. I think the only reason she has not used that one because she’s using this form to recover and mount a defense! She might be trying to recover...which means...she’s rooted to the ground. That’s why she isn’t moving....”
Xenneth’s eyes glanced at Megami’s feet once more. Small thin cords ran into the terrain around her feet like veins to a body. A green ring wrapped around their form and flowed right into her boots that made the armor plates glow brighter with every pulse of the light. This very same pulse ran through the body of the vines within the area.
“That’s it! You have to break through her defense and attack her quickly, but without harming that chip! I can use that to bring her back! Leave the clown looking NetNavi to myself and Unity-san! We can sever his connection from Megami! I promise!”
This was exhilarating! Xenneth never talked to anyone like this before, especially a bunch of NetNavis that were strong or came from the ONB. The feminine operator had nodded his head readily as he awaited for the NetNavis to make their moves accordingly.

Iria Quick reflexes saved her life as the grassy tendril pierced the bottom of the hole. She presses herself against a corner and digs in to hold the position until the attack had passed.
Iria hops out of the hole and onto the surface but the noise of the attack and chaos had masked Xen's request. The clown looked visibly frustrated so her attack must have worked to some degree. She raises her hand and thrusts it down to drop another fireball onto Caliga; then follows the momentum into to spin around and ends with an uppercut. Repeating the same light based attack from moments prior.

Glassman had quickly dived out of the way of the streamed attack,at the same time using a vine to snatch the newcomer out of the way too, sending him tumbling a fair distance away, beyond a few remaining buildings.
As for himself,Glassman slid forward a few short feet, quickly standing up yet again.
'Shoot! I think we were almost there!' Glassman thought to himself. If only she hadn't heard Caliga's command-! She'd probably be back to normal now-!
He listened as Xenneth explained what was going on at the moment...she was in defensive mode for now,but they apparently had one last chance to try and get the job done...or lose the rest of the city.
"Okay then! We're counting on you both!" Glassman exclaimed in response to the boy's plan. It seemed he was able to make out the plan amidst the sounds of battle...
Equipping his signature buster,Glassman steadied himself, gathering white energy into his weapon, and released a powerful burst of energy at 'Dark Megami' yet again.
Not wasting a minute,Glassman's Operator activated a Blade chip and an armor-piercing sword appeared in his hands, one that resembled a sword used by those warriors hailing from Sparta. Dashing toward Megami,Glassman leapt skyward as another chip's data was activated, turning his left hand into a shadowy weapon known as 'Endless',and he dove toward Megami, delivering a powerful strike with the first weapon as he narrowly passed by her. Glassman then followed up immediately with a quick slash from Endless. Even if his second strike wasn't enough to pierce her armor,it'd have a drastic effect on her regenerative properties if she was in defensive mode...
Kicking off from where he stood,Glassman leapt back a bit, materializing yet another buster of sorts. With the power gained from the previous ranged techniques,Glassman felt energy surge into his buster,as he applied even more power into it himself as he took on a faint blue glow for but a moment .
Gripping his right-arm tightly,Glassman fired a burst of combined energy at Megami, almost akin to a white charged shot, though there was no charging involved. He hoped xenneth and whomever 'Unity' was would succeed in carrying out their part...
