...wait, what?! Breaking his attention from the headache given by Unity, yet another new experience hits Caliga... more pain?! The searing blades from Serix impact Caliga's body and shatter with a spark. The Black Diamond winces and backs away instinctively, entirely sure that this has to be some kind of mistake. The very idea that these insects would actually harm the incarnate form of Nebula Grey itself? The Navi destined to rule this meager world! The anger of the dark harlequin rises, boiling up from his heart with a vengeful aura of shadows, laughing amid the strife and anger, daring another strike.
....and then that dare is challenged.
Iria, rising from below, plants a flaming punch of explosive force directly into Caliga's chest. The master Darkloid's painted eyes swell with surprise and shock at this show of force and surprising strength. In spite of his own overwhelming power, Caliga's light, doll-like frame is sent toppling head over heels back. His own levitation abilities fail him as he slams into the ground and tumbles like a rag-doll, coming to rest a few yards from where he was before. It's then that the Black Diamond, face-down in the dirt after his first ever beating, reaches out a clawed hand and buries it into the ground...
Caliga: ....hehehe... HeheHEHEhehehHEHEhehehEHehheheee.....
Each laugh that spills from Caliga's mouth brings with it a series of glitches across the area, each powerful enough to make the sky itself flash with static. It's then that Caliga pushes against the ground and raises himself up, a sardonic and insane look painted across his laughing face.
Caliga: HehheheHEHEHEhehEHEhHEHHEHHEhehhehehHEHe..... very well then.
Caliga's eyes gain a sharp focus through the rising insanity. His focus turns to those who had damaged him, and his power forcibly restrains Megami where she stands.
Caliga: You want me gone? Very well then, I'll grant your wish. But now you're faced with a new problem...
Caliga's body suddenly evaporates into the same black mist that his very presence summons, seeping into the ground as a set of final words linger in its wake.
Caliga: ....what happens when the owner releases the attack dog from its chain...?
....and with that, Caliga is no more. However, Megami remains. Within her wells one final surge of black energy, raising her power even farther and eroding away more of her control. She now finds herself at the limits of Caliga's Dark Soul, and with no one holding her back from the twisted desires that it brings.
....this did not bode well. Attacking now would be pointless, and he knew it. Standing at the ready, Gravity Beetle spreads his shell's wings and snaps them shut once again, his horns agape and generating a powerful gravitational force. Without direction, Megami would now be more destructive than before, but perhaps the erosion of her reasoning would present the opportunity to at last end this nightmare without farther blood-shed.

*He managed to get an unintentional... sort of, success outside of what he was doing. What mattered is that he had diverted the attacks so far to the best of his ability. He kept the chains in place still, listening to what the human was saying. With his explanation given they had their next objective: breaking through her defenses and mounting an attack without her using the last chip, if able. In which case he couldn't do so as he was.*
"I'll hold you to your word, then."
*It was here that the form he held returned back to his original state, the chain behind the chains oddly strengthening instead as a result. He would have to call upon her aid now then, so that he could fight to his full capacity. The chains sprouting from his left arm cut themselves off, instead shooting down and planting themselves in the ground in an attempt to stave off her weapon for a bit longer. He created two guns first, firing both past GlassMan and at Megami then in order to break through and for GlassMan to have higher odds of success. Fate formed in his right hand then after, the onyx blade shifting as Genesis aimed his partner, the blade splitting off into sections and moving about the area as they surrounded their foe and aimed to pierce through all at once, the blades disappearing after each attempted strike and forming back with the guard and hilt.*
*But it was after his attack that he had noticed Caliga's own actions then and the sudden restraint that she had gone through, the sky glitching like that and that laugh being unmistakably Caliga's of course. This wasn't part of the plan at all, but then they were fighting with two different plans from the beginning here, to be honest. A bit frustrating in a different sense, but not an entirely lost cause so long as things didn't spiral too much further out of control.*

However, having any control was an illusion at this point...
Megami’s defenses seemed flawless. Just as quick as Glassman assaulted her with blades, the hologram Guard shields appeared and moved itself in front of Megami protecting her body against the opaque NetNavi’s sword strikes. A second shielded appeared as there was only a twiddle and twirl of Megami’s fingers to move the shields as quickly as they game. Close-combat strikes and slashes against the form seemed only slightly effective as the shields began to fissure on the surface. The one thing that gave away their weakness.
*SHATTER!!!*
Shards multiplied by hundreds the moment the shields broke. Even as they were aligned in front of each other to resist the buster shot, they had still fallen to the last powerful blast of his charged (not charged but-doesn’t matter because that was still a pretty good shot?) technique.
She was vulnerable now!
Genesis onslaught had answered to this simple fact. Megami’s bulky body armor took the two buster shots as they met her palms that whipped forth before her. Even as they pushed her back, they had done no damage, but there was something different: her armor! Just as quickly, it had lost its green glow that raced through the plate’s display, and the surging energy that kept fueling Megami through the vines had come to a sudden stop. Her body was uprooted and her nearly invincible defensive strategy had come to an end just like that!
At the mercy of flashes and slashes of sweeping blades that caught her in the whirlwind, Megami’s armor was cut from her body piece by piece. She collapsed to a single knee, almost helpless as her body was riddled with only pieces of armor and a partial monocle that was flashing a red hue over her right eye indicating “DANGER” across its display.
Clearly, she was reaching her limit, until Caliga vanished with his grim note after letting her free...
“....what happens when the owner releases the attack dog from its chain...?“
“Why?” Megami’s begun to rise slowly. Her head lifting to show a look in her eyes not empty, but full of rage, “Why...did Xen-kun leave me?”
Her heart raced and eyes were clouded. There was a passion fuelded by illusions that made her not see what was in front of her. One moment, she was incarcerated, the next, the city was in ruin! She saw her allies looking towards her. Had they turned on her too? Did they let her go like Xenneth? The dark soul welded up inside her until it was visible once again. It grew larger, more vile as the weeping face had a roar that sounded like the most dangerous kind of animal: a wounded one.
“Was it you all?” her face contorted with confusion, “DID YOU ALL TAKE HIM FROM ME?!”
...and logic giving away to heartbreak and fear...Megami’s Dark Soul forced her to run wild.
“M-Megami! What are you talking about? I am right here!”
The female NetNaiv snatched the very last chip. Xenneth worked quick, even after gasping and pressed the chip into his P.E.T. downloading the data. The chip in Megami’s grasp brimmed with a bright blue aura that compared in size to the dark soul. “I only have once chance!” the violet haired boy cried, “Downloading!”
The chip vanished as quickly as it appeared in Megami’s grasp. It sunk into Megami’s hand as the blue aura ran around her body, but compared to the Dark Soul, it was like a thin silhouette amongst a dark backdrop. Megami’s teeth gritted and arms thrust back as she seemed to be gathering energy into the center of her being. With one rise of her foot, and a massive stomp, the remaining pieces of armor had exploded off her body and the area violently quaked.
*Boom....Boom.....BOOM!!!*
They began at a distance, but upon the wait, it was obvious was the explosions were as they erupted from the ground: lava. The terrain was like an unstable volcanic land with that one and final display of power coming from the female NetNavi and the chip that was within her. Under each NetNavi, a burst of fire escaped from the crust of Element City threatening to incinerate them one by one, and if not anything, coat the field in a lay of the steaming molten mush that swept everything through the area.
“I just need time!” Xenneth declared to everyone, “I-I think I can reach Megami! I just need time for this program to work!”
Xenneth’s voice was riddled with uncertainty, but yet, he was trying.
Even if at the center of all this chaos, it was hard to see his best friend Megami. Even as she stood upon a pile of rubble letting out cries of anguish. Her Dark Soul so thick that it was like a barrier protecting her from the heat, and her mind so rampant with delusions that she was breaking the boundary between what was making her civil or a monstrosity.

"Such a stupid girl."
Even with the attacks she was taking, and the damage included, she walked over to Megami and gave her a nice clean slap across her face.
"He's been here the whole time. You've simply blinded yourself by letting that thing into your head."
She was referring to Caliga, but her statement could be taken any number of ways.
"Do you really think a kid like him would just leave when things get rough? I've seen his type before. They never give up. Neither should you. Now then, if you could just hold still a bit, he should be along shortly."
After this was said, Serix seemed to disappear, but if one looked closely enough, they would see a palm sized, red, crystal-type object in front of Megami. Inscribed in the crystal are the words 'Never give up hope'.

(OOC: Looks good to me, Senk)
Since Caliga's first move, this girl had causes an unbelievable amount of damage to those in the area. But it wasn't her fault, nor was this power all from Caliga. It was her skill fueled by his power that brought this destruction, and her insecurity and fear fueled by his torment that seeded the situation. This was not her fault, and she shouldn't have to pay for the deeds of a black heart. But neither should the bystanders and those trying to fix this terrible deed. But the fact remains; someone would have to pay.
Gravity Beetle: Buy the boy the time that he needs!
With his fists glowing, Gravity Beetle lunges forward and tosses out a pair of pitch black orbs which quickly begin to orbit Megami where she stands and grow to what appears to be a seven foot spherical diameter. With his Gravity Wells in place and pulling against Megami, the herculean Navi then slams his feet into the ground with a powerful stance, clenches his fists, and thrusts the jawed and bladed horns that protrude from his head high into the air, taking a statuesque stance as his onyx shell parts into wings and the thrusters on his back light up.
It takes a mere second fr his golden and onyx body to turn to a flashing monochrome version of itself, granting the spacial Navi vastly enhanced defensive capability. Now prepared to make his move, Gravity Beetle's eyes burst open and lock onto Megami with an intense focus.
Gravity Beetle: GRRRAH!
A jetstream of wind blasts out behind Gravity Beetle as he launches himself at break-neck speed, flying toward Megami like a missile with the jaws of his horns agape and darkened by the gravitational void that they now harness. The Gravity Well continues to orbit Megami, hiding Gravity Beetle from sight for split moments at a time as they pass in front of him.
Gravity Beetle: HEY, GIRL! YOU'RE MINE!
....he hoped that he could at least draw a bit of fire and get Megami focused on him rather than the others with this move. It was a gamble, and one that he knew she could easily win if she played any of her cards, but he had to try.
And now for the moment of truth. Gravity Beetle surges forward with one final blast of thrust, closing the gap just as the gravity well passes between he and his target one last time, and.... he's gone. Just like that, the Herculean Navi and his rhino charge are gone, leaving only a gust of air from where he had been as the gravity well passes.
And then it all becomes clear. Just as one well passes before Megami, the second passes behind her, an this is where Gravity Beetle, with all of his momentum still intact, appears from. The distance is mere feet, and the Spacial Navi does his best to take advantage. With zero distance to spare, Gravity Beetle cocks his head to the side and snaps the jaws of his horns around Megami like a vice, hopefully holding her in place... for however long he can.
Gravity Beetle: You're one lucky Navi, kid. You've got an operator willing to fight for you like this instead of just remotely deleting you! Now SNAP OUT OF IT AND FIGHT THIS BEFORE BOTH OF YOU PAY FOR THAT MONSTER'S CRIMES!
....even if he managed to capture her, and in spite of the physical strength that he so prides himself on, Gravity Beetle knows very well that he won't last long if she snaps out of the confusion and goes on the offensive again. But still, he has to try.
The main influence is gone, and Xenneth is trying his best to break his friend's data out of this torture. Still fused with his new friend, Unity continues to fight off as much of Caliga's influence as he can, now back to his original plan of trying to free Megami. Working feverishly, he tries his best to open her systems up to the violet boy's program, but he also works another angle at the same time.
Unity: Xenneth! Now that Caliga's gone, I'm going to try to hack my way past this dark soul and into her mind! I don't know how much can get through, but PLEASE give her hope!
With a wince and a tint of obvious fear, Unity delves into the dark data that infests Megami's mind, working toward her core and her mind. Even if he couldn't purge this influence, maybe he could just make a crack in the shroud, and let her see that there's still light on the outside....

*Her words stirred his own mind then, eyes narrowing slightly then. Loss. A delusional loss that she had lost the person that she cherished most. That someone took them away. It was a bitter feeling, looking into the mirror like this. And it was that mirror that would spur him into action immediately then. The reason behind the moniker he obtained for himself. That was what would come at this time.*
"Focus on controlling the collateral damage, Iria."
*She wasn't very good at buying time outside of doing so aggressively. He figured she would be good at fighting fire with fire, though. It was her mode of operations in his eyes. He shot upward now, the pillar of lava blasting up after him as it threatened to engulf him before a sphere of light engulfed his form, the sphere fading in less than a second to reveal the change now. He had said he would hold Xenneth to his word, now came seeing whether he won that gamble or not.*
*His cloak had formed into a crimson cape, part of it wrapped around the collar of his armor, the edges trimmed with gold as always now thanks to his friend. The onyx armor gaining a spike in several areas, being at the knees of both legs, the elbow of both gauntlets, and at both shoulders, a mask appearing over his mouth, while his eyes of violet flashed for a moment. The symbols of Fate remained the same, but were mirrored on the chest of his armor and the cords of the Black Diamond laced about each finger, the crest on the back of both hands of the gauntlets. The cords embedded themselves within the arm while being attached to the sword, six swords appearing behind him, a sweltering, unrelenting power surging from each, like the corona seen around the sun itself. He launched half of them down immediately, meeting the lava that was there directly as the attacks collided, the lava blasting out about the city and falling short of striking the Overlord. His tone of voice was neutral as he spoke next.*
"I don't know your bond with the human that you partnered with, nor would I want to in particular. None of us can understand what you have with him, can we? But what I do know... is that if he ever did leave you, wouldn't it be because of what you're doing now?"
*He had to plow through that Dark Soul next, seeing as it was acting as a barrier for her now as well. He pulled back his right arm, a colorless light flickering forth before he brought the arm down, a crescent tearing through the city and slamming into the field right before Gravity Beetle completed his charge. It was only after it had slammed into the wall that was her anguish that the thunderous roar bellowed forth, tearing apart the city further as its foundations trembled, seeking to bring an end to those delusions and rip away the illusions until their number was zero, until reality was what she could see. But the other three swords were poised and ready to be launched next. And just as they were prepared, the other three were fired directly at Megami next.*
"Because you've become incapable of seeing him when he's so close to you. You've lost sight of him in all of those emotions. Doing that could drive him away. Doing that brings down not only yourself, but him as well. What do you think he would say if he saw you now? If you can't see what he truly wants and not what others want you to believe he wants then you're tarnishing what you had, what you have."
*What was once a neutral tone had took on a sharper one, one that spoke from personal experience. He had lost himself to this and because of that experience he had grown and realized how he failing himself and his partner. The blades changed during flight then as they became similar to the chains that he had been using to restrict her thus far once more, expanding and seeking to restrain her limbs and further aid in Gravity Beetle's attempt to hold her down. Fate flowed back into his arm, but the cords remained on the gauntlet before his eyes flashed as they had done earlier, vanishing from place as he appeared opposite of Gravity Beetle, gripping the chains as they started to become stronger, strengthening them even further.*
"...You can cry and lash out all you want, but it's time for you to wake up. You're only hurting him now."
*He was here because he needed what she had. That was why he was here. Or at least, such was how it was and how it had been. But by this point rather than simply seek to gain his own desires... he would shoulder the tantrum that this one was going through along with the beetle. Because leaving someone on their own that reminded him of that miserable reflection he had in the mirror wasn't something he had in him right now.*

'Of course she'd block...' Glassman thought to himself as Megami avoided his two close-combat strikes. It seemed she was in control enough to do that..
But he had apparently done his part, paving a path for the others' attacks...and Caliga taking his leave seemed to be of great benefit to them too...though the jester's last words were more than a little ominous...
As she seemed to be out-of-it once more,he listened as she spoke...it seemed she was still in a great deal of emotional turmoil and the darksoul clouding her mind & body would have to go. NOW.
Prior to making his move,Glassman steadied his footing as Megami placed her best foot forward, turning the area into a volcanic battlefield of sorts.
Even though this was one of his own elements,Glassman knew better than to try taking the attack carelessly. As the ground shook beneath Glassman's feet,he summoned a solid barrier around himself, while dashing from where he stood.
While doing his best to avoid getting burned by the flames,Glassman heard Xenneth call out once more. 'Go for it!' Glassman thought to himself, silently cheering on Megami's OP.
As he did he best to stay alive, staying out of the way of the others' assaults,Glassman had ran toward where their 'target' was, prepared to attack...
But seeing this same navi whom he had only just met and fought alongside in such a state of anguish...he clearly saw that this was finally their chance to save her...or she'd suffer even more.
Suddenly,a loud ring and what sounded like a train echoed from the crust of the area,as Glassman called forth molten chains to bind Megami once more. A familiar attempt, but he hoped it'd work this time, maybe with the molten lava adding to the lava-like components of the attack itself to aid in burning away at the darksoul...
As Glassman moved his hands as if molding clay, though he was doing so to wrap the chains around Megami in a smooth manner and not so much as an outright aggressive move,he called out to her yet again!
"MEGAMI! WE NEED YOU TO SNAP OUT OF IT! Your OPerator hasn't LEFT YOU! He's been with you here this WHOLE TIME! BUT if you don't KEEP ON FIGHTING that DARKSOUL then there won't be ANYTHING more we can do...and sadly, you might NEVER see Xenneth again because of that INNER DARKNESS!" he exclaimed, walking toward her cautiously.
"So we need you to DO YOUR PART AS WELL! even though it may hurt,WE BELIEVE IN YOU! and more than anything,we all know that YOUR OPERATOR BELIEVES YOU CAN DO THIS TOO!"
Materializing an illusory scythe from flames,Glassman shot himself toward Megami, swiping at her quickly,to try and pierce the darkness that enshrouded her once more...turning around swiftly after he attacked, with a blue aura of energy welling up within him,Glassman fired another white burst of energy at Megami from an armed cannon, the white energy seeming to grow larger as it approached her.
DEFEAT YOUR INNER DARKNESS AND FEARS,MEGAMI-! he called out,as the white light from his attack attempted to bathe over the darksoul. It was a tall order for someone in such distress to be told to 'defeat' anything...but he hoped that Caliga's absence meant she'd probably be able to hear all of them...even the one who had slapped her.
---------------
(OOC: No 'darksoul piercing' attacks available, but it's the same burst-cannon attack powered up a bit more...)

Iria The battered ground adopts a red hue and gives off an immense heat. Iria flips backwards to avoid the ensuing eruption; the overbearing temperature has little effect on her own tempered defenses.
She gives Genesis a slight roll of the eyes at his request. Her skill set didn't include mass damage control and her energy was understandably spent by this point.
The ground was running with streams of magma and while she was feeling refreshed and empowered from the change the lesser navis might not feel so flared up. Raising her hand up high a small chip appears in hand only to be crushed. Within moments the molten earth solidifies, then turns white with red pattern. Iria had laid down a Sanctuary.

________________________________________________________
To say she heard voices in her head was not only cliché, but it would be an understatement...
What she heard were like screams of a banshee that came from the voluptuous Dark Soul and the contradicting murmurs of hope. Each voice were screams of her past heartache, the loneliness, the twisted words of her own self-reflection that she seen in that dark secluded computer. It all bred sadness, anguish, and hatred and rage of how unfair it was in all ways! It was a crippling pain that would turn someone mad...making the tactics and assault of Gravity Beetle seem trivial!
The special NetNavi’s attacks and strikes were not ignored, but just not noticed. Even as Megami was trapped by his gaping jaws, she slid back as she was captured and wrapped in his vice grip. The sphere that was afloat by Serix was knocked to the ground at her feet as she could faintly hear the golden NetNavi’s cries and pleads for her to cease. This enraged her more, bits and pieces of his words were like that of a tyrant as she stomped her feet shattering the motivational words beyond simple letters and her arms pushed the grip of Gravity Beetle’s horn so that her hands may hold them.
“Both...of...us...” the black inky aura so thick it was visible for a moment, but so was a pristine blue light that seemed to follow after. A tear glisten at the right corner of Megami’s cheek, but her teeth shown as she snarled like a beast...feeling insulted. “Cease...jesting...about my...PAIN!!!”
Megami said this as her feet gained ground with a massive stomp. Her hands gripped the horns as she displayed amazing strength all of the sudden. Her hands were hot to the touch as a burning sensation would emit through Gravity Beetle’s horns if not for his amazing defenses. Still, that heavy weight did not add up to oppose her incredible strength as she shifted her body with one movement wrestling to swing Gravity Beetle around in a circle.
“It’s Amaterasu-Okami...” Xenneth noted, “She’s absorbed that chip’s abilities, too!”
Xenneth’s words warranted this, but it was already too late to stop Gravity Beetle from being turned into a beautiful, shimmering, and well plated baseball bat. Megami swung Gravity Beetle by his ripping horns towards the direction of the swords launched towards her. “Silence!” Her scream and heave launched the large Golden Beetle as well as his entangled body towards the direction of the Onyx Overlord. Standing, panting, and shoulders rising and falling; Megami had become still just for a moment as if a thought of clarity came to her mind from the words.
“...something unstable is happening in Megami, everyone!”
As Xenneth warranted the irregularity, the aura of the Dark Soul appeared along her body worn like a thick jacket, but the blue light around her was as thin as a body suit.
*CLINK!!!*
She was bound? Again?!
Megami’s body and mind took these attempts as if they were a reminder of her grim reality. She would not be free of this torment. She never would! Even now the screams in her head and the screams outside of the field were fighting each other! Some reminding her of despair and the others of some faux hope of her situation. What did that doctor say exactly to Xenneth? That’s right...Megami was not something to bond with or be accustomed to. She was just an “object”...a thing. With another glistening tear leading the trails from her eyes, Megami had reached across gripping the chains that bound her and with the benign strength granted to her, ripped them off her body. The steam risen that smelled of crisp data that was eroding from her hand as she gripped the links while Glassman charged at her with painful words.
“Stop!” she cried as she snatched the chain links to her grasp before whipping them forth as the NetNavi passed, “STOP LYING TO ME!”
There was an open wound on Megami’s left torso. A fresh open cut brought her to a knee as GlassMan passed, but there were the links slipping through her grasp as in one movement as the opaque NetNavi cut her, she bound the two with the very chains he used on her. As Megami gripped the links and gripped the slack, she had whipped her body around to attempt to snatch the NetNavi, but instead, she could see something bright come towards her direction...
“DEFEAT YOUR INNER DARKNESS AND FEARS, MEGAMI!~”
With one hand loosening the grip on the chains and the other hanging limply, she stared at the sphere of light that grew in size about to engulf her. Her fingers ran with a thin silhouette of blue that begun to brim like a fire as it raced across her hand...
“It’s getting worse! It’s speeding up!”
...Xenneth’s words were faint, but Megami flinched just hearing them. The pain returning and so did the darkness that raced across her body, submerging the light, and tightening her fists as she raced forth towards the sphere of light and plunged her fist into the buster shot.
“I SAID SILENCE!!!”
The light dissipated with one single hook shot, shrouding away and breaking into many layers that washed over her and left her body simmering with steam. The other hand reached snatching the chain finally and attempting to snatch Glassman. The miserable and pain writhed NetNavi had enough of it all! She swung the chain as she channeled the strength towards sending GlassMan swaying forth into the ground with one good whip of her body as she intended to do one thing to the glass body of the NetNavi...
“Shatter with your lies!” She ordered this before letting go of the links and staggering back.
“This is dangerous” Xenneth’s cries rang through the area, “This energy signature is huge! Get out of there! I don’t want you all to get caught in...well...whatever this is!”
Her body weakened, her breathes labored, Megmai had stopped in her tracks and fallen to her knees. The dark silhouette switching to the bright blue aura, and then back again to the darkness. It became like a flicker as one switched to the other again and again like a timer to a ticking bomb.
“No! No more!” Her begging and cries audible as she had not the strength to continue her merciless assault, “Stop! No more lies! I miss him, but I just want to...I just want to...feel..”
Chaotic, indecisive, and uncertain; Megami was torn. Her mind went back and forth between emotionally vulnerable and wracked with misery as it appeared as if she was about to explode.

This was not far from the expectation. Megami's strength dwarfs that of Gravity Beetle, as the shelled Navi us swung around by his horns and used as a deflector against the oncoming attacks. The damage racks up at an insane speed in spite of his defensive capabilities, leaving him tossed to the side like a tin can. Tumbling and rolling from the momentum, Gravity Beetle winces from the pain and slams into the side of a nearby building, coming to a complete stop face-down on the pavement. His eyes remain clamped shut in pain as he lays motionless, not even able turn to his side at this point. His horns still release a faint orange glow as the heat from Megami's hands radiate off of them. The pain, the exhaustion, it's excruciating.... but he could not let himself succumb to it. Not yet. Balling his fists and shaking as he begins to strain his muscles, Gravity Beetle pushes himself into a full kneeling position supported by his hands and knees, panting as he does so. His body screams for him to give in, but he just shakes his head before straining to turn it to Megami.
It takes time, but Gravity Beetle eventually rises to his feet, turns around, and begins to limp toward Megami at a fast pace. Though beaten, the spacial Navi reveals that he's not defeated as he keeps his focus on Megami in spite of Xenneth's words, stomping his way back toward the battered girl at the epicenter.
Gravity Beetle: No.
Not a word more to Xenneth. It didn't matter now. Even if he did escape, what good would it do? The destruction would likely become unstoppable, and bring about an end anyway. No, the time to face this is now, and soon he does so. With a defiant stance, he stands against Megami, raising his voice above the chaos with the declaration of a single word.
Gravity Beetle: ....Liar......
Gravity Beetle pauses for a moment as his posture straightens and clarity returns to his eyes. With a reckless move that dwarfs his previous tactic, he stands before the otherworldly Navi with defiance, ignoring both his own pain and hers.
Gravity Beetle: ....you don't care about this boy, you don't care about anyone but yourself. Caliga is gone, all that's holding you back now is you, but you don't want to escape yourself. Not for our sake, not for your sake, and Heaven knows not for the boy's sake!
Gravity Beetle's voice falters as he yells out his harsh chastisement, be it from his own pain or the pain that he feels for Megami, none could know for sure.
Gravity Beetle: If you cared about him, then you would fight like everyone that you know has asked! Instead you're falling into self pity and destroying what you claim to care for. If you want this to stop, then bring an end to it now and stop using this boy, who even now puts himself on the line for you, as an excuse to drown yourself in your own tears!
Piercing blades could not scratch her body, but perhaps piercing words could wound her heart. It would do no good, and he already knew it. But he still had to try.

*To say that he masterfully dodged wasn't quite how that went. From how swiftly Megami had tossed Gravity Beetle aside he was only able to avoid that because the beetle changed his own trajectory then, grabbing the chain to slow how fast the beetle was supposed to soar. It was a success and a failure to sum it up. It slowed Gravity Beetle a little, brought him along with the beetle, and then sent the Overlord smashing into the building from not being able to stop himself after he had grabbed on. Surprisingly enough he didn't fly through the building, possibly because of the field that Iria had put up for them. He was mostly prying himself loose now, his left arm coming loose first before he brought it back, slamming his fist into the building once. No effect that time. He did so again, a similar result. And so it did it once more, this time with the intended result as it launched the rest of him from the building, touching down on the ground.*
"I won't run away like she is right now."
*He wasn't saying that withdrawal was never an option, but it certainly wasn't one this time. Simply because something was dangerous doesn't mean that he would run. Simply because something didn't go your way didn't mean you ran, either. Running now would just make this entire effort pointless. He would see it to the end regardless of its outcome. He picked himself up off of the ground, this time letting Gravity Beetle's words take the stage. Instead he would let his actions speak in place of words. He didn't use the chains any more or any aggressive action, something he could imagine quite a few people chiding him for right about now. Instead he just placed a hand on her shoulder, not seeking to bind or hold her down, but this time to accept her. Regardless of what her next course of action would be.*

“He’s right...”
Xenneth had looked on as Gravity Beetle stood his ground, battered and destroyed, but yet he was trying to talk some sense into Megami. There had been so much damage to answer for, as seen by his eyes, and yet they were still fighting. It was only years ago that Megami activate, but Xenneth never imagined that this much damage would be caused by one NetNavi. His lips tightened and his throat cleared. He could still make out the riddled battlefield and the remains of the NetNavi that tried to give Megami one last shot of motivation that her Net Operator would rescue her.
But where was he?
Xenneth’s eyes scanned the room trying to figure something out. “My heart can’t take all this!” Thinking this as Xenneth was looking to his P.E.T. on his wrist attachment and raised a brow upon that thought. “My heart...” His eyes had gone to the readings on the P.E.T. once again that was connected to Megami and gasped knowing why these numbers were familiar. “I know what these are! This isn’t an ordinary explosion!”
The violet haired boy made haste reaching into his lower drawer at the corner of his room. He tossed away many things out of the bottom of the endless storage: some notebooks, abandoned trinkets from Netopia, and some photo albums he really would rather not remember. His hand was hesitant to grasp the one installation box at the bottom to which he had taken out a single chip before racing back to his computer and standing in front of his terminal.
“Unity-san!” he cried, “I’m going to join you!”
A crazy declaration, but the violet haired boy seemed to have a decisive expression upon his face.
“Thank you both for saying that! I know what to do! Logging out of the area is everyone’s choice, but I can stop Megami now!”
Xenneth awaited for everyone to make their decisions, his view of the city giving a glance to GlassMan and Iria, worried seeing things were about to get dangerous considering he wasn’t sure what would happen next. It seemed that the Onyx colored NetNavi had made up his mind, something that even the violet haired boy acknowledged with great appreciation as it inspired him. However, he was not willing to drag anyone down the rabbit hole with him.

Gravity Beetle's stance remains and he doesn't even blink at Xenneth's words. Standing against Megami with all of this power erupting from her, he didn't dare slip even for a second.
Gravity Beetle: I'm seeing this through to the end kid, even if it's mine!

Megami's attempt to use Glassman's chains against him was rather unexpected, but the result was a loud *CHINK!* as the attack slammed against his barrier, dissipating the protective barrier after performing its job.
'That was WAY too close...' he thought to himself. He thought he could bind her while she was atop the rubble, but she was still alert enough to defend against them...
As G.B and GEnesis replied to Xenneth's suggestion of retreating,Glassman nodded, signifying he had already made up his mind as well...
"I won't run either. I'd much rather see this through 'til the end than have any regrets...no matter what happens next."
'Hm...I wonder why this seems familiar...?' he pondered to himself. Did this situation happen somewhere else...? Glassman couldn't recall...but he DID know that Caliga had left, presumably leaving the transporter within Megami...
It seemed all they could do now was hope for Xenneth and Unity to break through...

Iria (Not at home. Figured id throw this out do you can go. Poorly unformated ho.) (Also assuming megami has her back to iria since she turned after glass and he was close than iria)
All the thrown emotions and outbursts of friendship are too cliche for her. 'Log out!' He says. Moron. Not everyone has a netOP to log them out. mumbling to herself while trying to think up a good reason to not deck this darkness infused trainwreck of a navi. Yet her thought routines were very human in nature and kept coming up with the same solution despite her efforts... Or lack thereof.
Iria flexes her arm and envelopes her forearm in a cream white coloring of pure light energy. With one large leap she closes the gap between herself and Megami and drives the fist down into her back. Attempting to cleanse this chaotic darksoul through a more punchy feely method over 'friendship'.
