As the vulcan begins spinning, X starts dashing ahead of the spray, moving circularly around Vile. There's little hope for the city while Vile is rampaging, but he will not be deleted just to satisfy the desires of someone that he recognizes as a Maverick. X (While running and dodging the vulcan-fire): Big talk coming from someone only fighting to destroy! X makes a sharp turn and immediately dashes towards Vile, white armor appearing on him mid-dash. X continues dashing towards Vile, zig-zagging to avoid as much damage as possible. As X gets close to Vile, it's apparent that he's not holding back either... both arms form into busters. X: Take this!.wav (20.79 KB) X fires a charged shot that he had been building power for from his right buster... but after it's formed, whips his body and shoots that shot with another charged shot from the left buster, splintering the second into the pink spray of plasma that he had assaulted with before. Without the aim that he had made before, the spread of the shots encompasses Vile's Ride Armor. X then immediately dashes to the side, building some distance again.

As the vicious battle between X and Vile raged on,Glassman dove to the side, getting away from the intense battle as best as he could. He couldn't help but cringe as the gattling gun's assault annihilated a part of the city, making the area in worse shape than before....but maybe with Vile preoccupied they could focus on protecting whatever was left.
"Okay everyone! We need to figure out a way to protect whatever's left of this area. Any ideas are welcome, but whatever we do,we need to put it into action fast!" Glassman spoke, peering from behind a building.
Hopefully, the others were willing to stay and help...

With effort, but to no avail, Megami’s efforts to free Xion were at her best.
Her eyes had shown a spark of something else rather than determination from the battle, that of dread. The mechanical beast that was piloted seem to be unaffected by her attacks, unlike the newcomer who needed no introduction; Vile’s tempered mind and focus as he ranted seemed to do the new NetNavi justice. Megami, on the other hand, made an effort to get out of the crossfire of the shots that peppered the buildings as she dove and rolled to the nearest cover: a triangular shard of a leveled building was what was served as a hiding place as she could hear the cry of a nearby NetNavi.
Her eyes had gone to Ruin and Xion who were tossed aside by the giant mechanical beast, and then to X who was running about while letting loose a maelstrom of his buster shots, and then there was the environment itself that was being leveled.
She just had this feeling…and she hoped Unity agreed with her heart as well…
“If I may suggest?!” Megami cried to Glassman, “This part of the city may be lost, so should we not keep him here? Myself and my friend have better speed together, and I think I can intercept the output of damage with some help. Also..."
Megami's eyes seemed to gaze admirably at X as he charged into battle.
"That NetNavi’s weapons are hurting that machine! Can we not give him an opening to end this quickly, no?”
Megami’s suggestion was more of a philosophical riddle than anything. Right after saying just that, she had leapt from behind her ground and ran right into the fray of the battle that was between X and Vile. Her robes and golden lochs of hair had blown in the draft of her run as with all her might she raced towards the direction of the carnage. The moment Vile would counterattack with the giant iron beast, and he would, she would with all her effort somehow deflect the melee of attacks.
“This is crazy!” Xenneth exclaimed pointing out the obvious, “But…”
He knew there was no good arguing against Megami. When she had a plan, she would try to carry it out because he knew she was only doing so with some fate in him. As the female NetNavi dashed forth, she brought up her left arm equipped with a shimmering gold bracelet. Xenneth, with each slide of his fingers, pressed multiple battlechips into his P.E.T. Each click met with the processing speed of both Megami and Unity as it supplied more than enough time to receive a number of defensive chips.
“Beginning Divinization!”
The golden bracelet glowed brightly as it stretched its properties. The glowing white hot form became more thick around her wrist and the form before her stretched until it became a small compacted oval shape sleek rim of some kind. With a glare and a movement of her feet, Megami leapt towards the line of fire that would be Vile’s impending counterattack towards the blue plasma-shooting NetNavi as well as cover his advancement.
“Divine Battle Chip: Agia EMP Guard!”
She needed to send the NetNavi’s rage back to her direction. This was met as her form nearly vanished behind an expanding green glowing screen of energy. The lines of green static had ran across the display in such a way that it displayed a single massive symbol that was like the wing of an angel, similar to the very NetNavi icon embedded on Megami’s chest. Her feet carried her and the shield across the battlefield as her eyes watched on from behind the transparent glass energy, expecting to following Vile’s line of fire to reduce harm done to the city as well as protect the blue hero.
She knew she could not hold her defensive tactics for long, but she hoped it would be long enough to give X time to launch his attack while she tried to interfere, incur the wrath of vile, and give him that one chance he needed.
…she just hoped just for once chance!

Iria
He's never really cared about collateral damage. Iria frowned, commenting at X's evasive maneuvers as they did more harm than good. The frown quickly became a light smile however as she spied Xion and Ruin. Their mangled forms plastered onto the shattered ground for a split second gave her pause. Ruins darkloids... She mentally weighed the pros and cons of such an unstable monster being loose. A nearby collapsed building snapped her back to reality. ...Destroys cities. Right right.
With Vile thoroughly occupied with X, the latter having beaten the former in single combat before, and with the accelerated body blocker that was Megami taking intercepting for the city. Iria once again opted for what others may consider "The unsavory choice".
Raising her hand up Iria makes a swatting motion in Ruin and Xions general direction. Like before, a flame drenched boulder cut the sky and careened towards the flattened duo. However this time four more fire stones followed the first. Creating a short shower of rock and embers centralized over them.

*Xion had been calm the entire time. The flash had hit him and disabled one of his main power sources, something he came to expect wherever he went. Being pinned by Vile was next, not resisting it because that would be wasting energy that he could save for something else. Vile released them himself, being slammed into the pavement and severely weakened. An expected result, but not one Xion had never planned to work around. As soon as he hit the ground, a light covered him that brought back some of his energy. Taking a hit from Vile again like that would be a problem certainly, but evading stray shots were easy.*
"But of course. Always take advantage of opportunities. Would fit right in with us like that."
*He was measuring reactions up until this point to see who was doing what. Those reactions let him judge which ones would continue to be semi-useful before and after the fact. Iria was the one that he focused his attention on as a result of that watch. So to her surprise he moved with ease, the darkness plowing through the fire instead as he simply moved forward after this at her to evade the ones that were focused on his location, evading each as they came as he blurred from Iria's sight. While the hunter had been someone he could have had fun with, she wasn't someone he would waste his time on ordinarily. That also played into his next decision of course, delivering a punch without restraint to Iria's face the likes of which probably earned him a frown from some others that weren't in the area. Mostly because those same morals didn't apply to him. It was less a show of force and more the fact that he misjudged his own strength for a second there, something he would remedy while looking out for any stray fire still so that wouldn't become a problem for him too. If the others were smart they would focus on Vile while he dealt with her antics himself. It shouldn't take him too long if nothing else decided to rain on his parade today.*

Ruin was certainly surprised that didn't work, but he got out, though a bit damaged in the process. Shadows enveloped his body as he was thrown to the ground following his first bounce on the city's ground level. He righted himself as he continued to skid along until he reached a stop just before a building. A growing shadow around him alerted him to the falling meteors as they approached him, Xion had already left to deal with Iria, likely the cause of this strike aimed at them. The only one here who would go out of their way for them. A sweet sentiment, perhaps Iria had some feminine whiles after all. The notion was rather hilarious with Ruin having regained control of himself, though a certain level of seriousness regarding the situation was not present.
Jumping to meet the first of the falling meteors, Ruin brought his body around the flaming rock, scorching his armor as he moved around it before he met the rock with a massive kick, changing its direction from his old position in the city to meet directly with Vile's massive ride armor. Further meteors followed, with Ruin jumping off the building nearby to meet each one and have it rocket toward Vile at immense speeds. As he hung in the air about to descend back to the ground, he saluted to Iria.
"Thanks for the ammo gal! Needed a refill."
Ruin had changed decently from his more serious and insane battle crazed self after having escaped from his previous bout of insanity. His voice turned softer and more friendly, though his often malicious intent could still be observed by even the most novice of navis.

As Jin was about to collapse from exhaustion, a black aura enveloped his body. This dark energy, it flowed into him, revitalizing him....and yet.....changing him. He became darker, less merciful than before. Insanity did not come this time as it did before. Rather....it was a sense of purpose. "Now I understand. Only one person here can defeat him. Only the legend himself." As he watched the fight continue, he noticed the ONB navi attacking two others. "Will she ever learn. In her quest to destroy all darkloids, she will eventually become what she hates the most." Then he looked towards megami. "Somehow....she seems similar to him, in a way. Can't quite place my finger on it though. Oh well." After making these observations, Jin changed his target. Rather than targeting Vile, whom he knew he could not damage at the moment, he instead turned his aim to Iria. "Such a fool." He muttered this under his breath as he fired a barrage of dark charged bullets towards the ONB navi.

As Glassman's eyes skimmed across the still raging battlefield,he shook his head at the still apparent lack of cooperation...Iria had tried getting rid of Xion & Ruin (not that Glassman knew either of their names),but at least Megami was using her time wisely...
...and apparently Ruin too,as Glassman watched him punt iria's attack Vile's way...
Of course, that made him worry a bit...Glassman was partially sure that any outside attacks may (or may not) receive some sort of retaliation. But that would be addressed in its own due time, for now Glassman stood where he was, watching in-case he could do anything to prevent further damage to the city's network.

(OOC: I hate RPing with myself unless I have a really good reason, so let's say that GB is fighting along side everyone else and getting his rear handed to him)
The plethora of attacks pound into Vile, wreaking havoc and having various effects. However, it all comes to naught in the end; the black ride armor that Vile sits atop takes it all, only flashing slightly and recoiling with the more potent attacks. However, in the end the Goliath begins to smoke, giving Vile the signal that his invulnerable armor is soon to depart. A dash similar to X's breaks the scene, and everything in the juggernaut's way, as Vile enters hot pursuit of X, the metal fists of the ride armor sparking as they fly forward with the force of a falling star, utterly crushing every obstacle in their way as they viciously strike out against X with a thirst for his blood. A volley of iron punches fly at X from the still-dashing ride-armor, finishing with a single crushing blow to the ground. It's then that Vile quickly launches himself backwards, leaving the ride-armor behind on the heels of what was to come. Fully spent, the Goliath finishes its final punch and erupts into a wall of hellfire and destruction, devastating a large area with a titanic explosion that rocks the network to its very core. Roughly one city block around the Goliath's final blow is rendered ground-zero as buildings crumble and the ground itself is sheared apart, with Vile himself staying just outside of the blast radius

“He is getting away!”
“We don’t have time!”
Two different matters, and it was one reason why herself and Xenneth were so divided at the moment. Megami very well lost sight of her mission, only for a moment, but seeing the vapors rise from the Ride Armor, Megami knew she only had a split second to act. The female NetNavi had acted quickly, spinning on her heel with all the more grace and her hand reached out for Glassman only to brush the air as he was far out of reach and even in a whisper’s breath to hear her sorrowful mourn…and the words after...
“…Overclock!”
Megami’s body raced forth with a golden blur that distorted the air. The white hot flash that erupted from the ride armor was met with the haste of the female NetNavi. She looked to Iria, the two strange NetNavis with the superior strength in a single glance. From their display of strength, she felt that they could escape this cataclysmic attack…or at least she hoped. Her worries were put back as she quickly reached towards Glassman and grasped his wrists with all her might that communicated a sense of urgency. “You trust us, yes?” Megami had placed emphasis on herself, and her two dependable allies that were beyond anyone else’s eyes. As if on cue, Megami’s body had become strange as her right hand brimmed with the energy of a loaded battlechip that made her glow a bright hot blue color, but her left was glowing with a bright red that was unlike any other.
“Area Steal! Battlechip, Divinization! Downloading…”
Megami’s body begun to fold strangely as if it was made out of a two dimensional sheet of paper or pixel. With her grasp on Glassman, she had hoped to expose him to the same effects as the searing flames had begun to close in quickly, but there was only a drop of sweat and a determined gaze that stared on towards Glassman as her body begun to fold quickly and rapidly until there was nothing but thin air where she and Glassman once stood. The rush of data was quick, and there was very little go off of with the Battlechip slots Xenneth used, but with a sigh, and his back sliding across the seat as Megami vanished with her attempt to take the reflective NetNavi in her grasp, he smiled at ease.
“Dimension Steal.”
Megami had teleported a short way out of the blast radios A way so short that she could almost still feel the warmth from the blast as it brightly lit her golden features and deep blue eyes. She looked to her side, weary of the danger and how close she nearly escaped as she looked for Glassman’s form to see if she successfully pulled him through the dimension with herself.

As the Ride Armor sparked and seemed to be on its 'last leg',Glassman barely managed to make a move before Megami pulled him from harm's way.
The rush of her assisted movement was exhilarating to say the least. Glassman felt as if he'd been swept away from the battlefield entirely, almost as if he was no longer a physical body...Megami's technique was certainly exceptional!
The feeling was over in seconds though,as he found himself standing adjacent to Megami, safely out of the way of being annihilated by the attack. Despite his fiery composition,Glassman shielded his eyes from the blast...staying out of the way of the deadly showdown seemed like a wise choice...

Iria
Iria's quick processing wasn't enough to effectively block the blow. She was sent flying just shy of being able to stop the attack, but not fast enough to grab the assaulter by the arm; dragging Xion along in an attempt to use him as an anchor reduce the ludicrous distance the blow caused.
Regardless of the effectiveness of the make-shift anchor Iria was still barring the brunt of the debris. Plowing through upright debris, walls, and into the ground floor of some archaic styled building while still holding onto Xion. Stopping just shy of the reception desk and second floor overlook.
uhg.. I'll chalk 'hitting like a kitten' onto Viles offenses. Can't even cripple two walking trashcans properly. she muttered, starting to stand upright while grasping her face with one hand.
Before even taking a step in a cruel rebuttal to her insult Viles explosive final attack ripped the block to shreds, shattering the foundations of the building that housed the two collapsing several stories of building to the ground as the block was razed in entirety.

*As Iria grabbed his arm, the pulled a makeshift anchor with her as planned. At least, one makeshift anchor anyway. From the arm had split off another Xion, triggering from the harm he had taken from Vile up until now. Xion left the clone to deal with her as he paid attention to the fight between X and Vile, his own decision made considering what had happened up until now. Xion made for leaving the city himself, two In his place, the clone did speak to Iria in his place to make up for her complaints.*
"It helps that you're small garbage too. We can fit you into our trashcans easily--."
*That conversation was cut pretty briefly though instead, the explosion shattering the building and collapsing it. Two more had formed with Xion himself, the two combining their strength to toss Xion as he used that momentum to speed himself up and evade the blast from Vile's Goliath. And then vanished into a pool of shadows, leaving the resistance against Vile up to those that remained.*

"Now then, where was I? Oh, right. Now, Vile, was it? You made two mistakes. The first, attacking the net. The second, well, let's just say this will be more fun for us than it will for you."
As Jin said this, the four dark chips he had used before started glowing again. And, strangely enough, they shattered. As Jin made a ball shapped space between his hands, the dark energy from those chips, and a lot of his own, gathered into that space and began churning violently until a beam shot forth, directed at Vile's center mass.
"Blind is he who seeks to void the net of life. Dead is he who tries. Foolish is he who succeeds."
As he said this, his form became darker by the second, giving even more energy to said beam.
"So, which are you, Blind, Dead, or Foolish?"

With their attacks seemingly to not faze Vile in the least. Perhaps it was time to take his leave as well. Being weakened around Iria was rarely a good plan, Xion was likely aware of that. As Vile pushed his way to his target, ignoring all others as his massive armor began to break down. It was clear the great beast was about to explode, and the force would leave those caught by it in a rather dangerous spot. Buildings likely wouldn't be able to handle it... but others might. Landing from his jump, Ruin quickly ran over to Jin, standing just behind him as the blast took place. The massive detonation failing to budge the navi before him. Such power this one had... Such delicious power.
As the blast subsided, Ruin stood behind Jin, seemingly unscathed as he overloaded a few darkchips to let loose a beam of energy. Ground zero was much like Ruin would do, everything destroyed exceot the small bit of land behind Jin. As the navi before him let loose the beam of darkness, Ruin walked up behind him, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"You make a good meat shield, but let's see if we can't give that thing a bit more power..."
The beam of dark energy which was already firing, aimed at Vile's center point quickly erupted to be large enough to engulf Vile's entire body, recieving a massive influx of Power from Ruin's aid. Even as the beam's intensity grew, its power became incredibly devestating. With his hand on Jin's shoulder, he noticed a familiar darkness creeping over the navi's body.
"Oh ho! And you've got one of these too...
How about we trade?"
Clenching his hand down on Jin's shoulder, the snapping of various bones could be heard as the intensity of the beam increased even more. Even more of Ruin's raw power fueling the attack. However the navi, reinforced by darksoul, very likely could not feel it. It was a powerful, numbing feeling. With so many other uses, Ruin quite needed one right now.
And so, like swiping a coat off the rack, Ruin tore his hand aside, taking Jin's shoulder with him and tearing the dark cloak of the darksoul out of his body. Spinning on a heel, Ruin turned his back to the now crippled Jin, his darksoul taken and his shoulder missing, while the beam still firing from his hands. It seemed to fire infinitely, even as Jin broke stance, Ruin's power rarely had an off button, and the attack would fire until Jin ran out of strength to maintain it. However until then, the power he held was rather immense.
Wrapping the tattered darksoul around him, Ruin melded with the shadows he made. Sinking into the ground and away from the battle, leaving the Crippled Jin at his own mercy, Ruin's immense power running rampant within him.
