Unity smiles brightly and nods to Megami at this. The idea was perfect, and worked flawlessly. Reaching out a hand, Unity gives Megami his contact information happily, ready to give aid wherever it may show up.
Unity: Alright, here's my information. I'll gladly help out wherever I c-
...as if it were clock-work, at that moment the sound of a loud crash resounds roughly a block away from the two Navis. The teleporter from New Life had fallen from above with a mighty crash, and it was not alone. Forcibly righting himself in mid air, Gravity Beetle dives through the air toward Iria and GlassMan and grabs both of them before they can make land-fall. He then spreads his wings and begins to fly as best he can. Though a strong flyer, his speed and agility are anything but impressive, though he does manage to land safely. However, just how safe is a matter for debate.
Gravity Beetle: We're about to have company, get ready!
Just as it had happened moments before, Gravity Beetle was correct. It takes only a moment for the form of a violet menace of former legend to touch-down with a massive slam, landing unaided and at full force. He then rises back to a full standing position, lowers his shoulder-cannon, and looks to the trio of Navis with a single red eye glowing under the shadows of his helmet.
Vile: Who wants to die first?
<MISSION: REPEL VILE> Vile, the undefeatable hero of villains, is poised to end all that stands in his way. Avoid his wrath and find a way to repel him before Element City suffers in his wake!

The crash was alerting if not interfering...
Megami’s fingers drew back curling whatever data Unity was handing to her like it was dancing at the tips of her fingers. The NetNavi’s eyes had gone astray as she quickly swept to the reverberating sounds of the crash making her stand as still as a statue at first, but the next moment, looking to Unity with a mind racing. The first thing that came to mind? His safety. Then her friends as her eyes went to the distant Mia as well as Jin before finally the NetNavi whipped around frantically stirring her nose to the distant echo of the chaotic crash.
“Please, excuse me!” her feet began breaking into a light jog, a slow walk, and then a halt. She whipped back ground her eyes to Unity, “Unity! Why not assist me, please? Certainly, we must assure everyone is okay.”
Megami’s words were more of less of a suggestion, especially with the way she whipped around and continued to run around the block towards the source of the sound. She did not feel it was an obligation for anyone to charge forth to danger like she and Xenneth had; heck, even Xenneth felt it was too much for him! Regardless, the violet haired boy did not seem to detest or even disagree with the Goddess-like NetNavi’s gallant charge seeing his words would be lost to the winds. Xenneth’s hands readied a bunch of battlechips into his grasp while Megami had formed her Khakarra into her own hand. By the time she could make it to see the dust clear, smell the fragrant pieces of concrete that littered the air, she heard the most chilling question...
“Who wants to die first?”
...she felt a chill wash over her body.
“We can’t let anyone get hurt!”
She took his cry as her battle orders and her brow furrowed. A gleam of determination was in her sapphire orbs, and her expression was nothing short of brooding to this NetNavi.

Handing his sword to the virus, Jin loaded up a dark chip into each limb. All dark sword. Then he started on a crazy-eratic-spin-type-manuever towards Vile. "Every........single......day! I'm getting tired of guys like you. The world is a big place. You may be a big fish in the small pond you come from, but out here, nothing." At this point a familiar grin flashed across Jin's face. It was a little gift left over from his double. Chaos had left a little switch in Jin's head that was triggered by anger. When Jim's anger levels rose to a certain point, his virus, Gutts, actually jumped up with the blade and.....merged with him. So now, each of Jin's dark sword limbs looked more like his personal weapon instead of the standard cyber blade. In addition, the merging included a little voice his head, and a more serious looking form, with bat wings a well.
Jin: woah.....this is new.
Gutts: yeah, but it's the new you. I will be gone within a week. Take care.
Jin:wait....what?
Gutts: yeah, you completely absorbed me.
While this conversation happened in Jin's head, his assault continued with cross slashes at Vile's shoulder cannon, head, and each of his limbs.

Iria
Gate was a madman to unleash such a terror from prison. Vile would never listen to him, and would take powers not seen for years to bring down.
Moron. she mumbled as Jin flailed against the malicious opponent. An accurate assessment of his actions as every time she'd seen him he was doing something suicidal. Each moment another navi came to 'see what was up' or 'help'. Just more popcorn for the killing machine.
Iria assumed a defensive battle stance, somewhat unusual for a navi who's known for hitting first.

Being unable to catch himself in his descent,Glassman was extremely grateful to GB for catching him & Iria. But now was certainly no time for feeling relieved...they had just been blown from New Life and now they had business to take care of...
As the Beetle Commander let them down on the ground,Glassman quickly took note of the location change...as well as the fact that the purple, armored navi intended to 'end' them. He briefly recalled leaving to go keep civilians safe from the current 'game'...ironically,he'd be trying to protect civilians from the cannon-toting navi as well as combating him.
Before any of the three made a move, something - no,someone burst onto the scene. Whomever this navi was,it seemed clear he was tired of others causing trouble for the 'Net...
After he finished his assault,a green,vine-like root shot up from the ground (with its blade-like points retracted so as not to cut him) and snatched Jin from where he stood, sending him tumbling away from Vile, past everyone & down the road a fair distance.
"No-one's dyin' today!" Glassman assured himself, thinking internally, keeping himself in place for the inevitable attack. He would've shouted it,but challenging someone who was after your head was surely a bad idea.
With his focus on Vile,Glassman stood ready to go on the defensive. He knew full well that if they didn't attack him,it was fairly obvious that this enemy would strike first...

Unity looks to the wreckage as he follows behind Megami, obviously confused about what's going on. This city was supposed to be one of the safest in the world, what could have caused that? No time to wonder though, as Megami turns back and requests assistance against whatever is breaking the peace. All that Unity can do is nod and look past her shoulder as they both look on and see Vile enter the field. Unity continues to stare dumbfounded for a moment; he has no idea who this is, but the statement alone makes his intentions obvious. Nodding to himself, the aura around Unity swirls even faster as he prepares to help his friend in the only way he knows.
Unity: Alright, Megami.EXE. Let's help!
Reaching out, Unity places his hand on Megami's back and closes his eyes. Megami would find herself momentarily paralyzed has she tried to move in this moment as she and Unity both fade from sight and Unity's gray aura expands to cover where both had been. The faded orb remains in place for a moment before it begins to contract and take on the form of a Navi, disappearing altogether a moment later and revealing Megami once again. However, with this fusion comes a new clarity of mind, as well as a new appearance. Her elegant dress now shines with a white-golden tone, nearly glowing in the radiant sunlight as her hair, now a similar golden tone, falls into place gracefully. Everything with Megami; her strength, her speed, her mental clarity, and even her defenses, rise with her merger with Unity, leaving behind a golden goddess in place of the two.
Unity: ...Megami, can you hear me?
Unity's voice resounds in Megami's mind as something of kin to a HUD appears in her vision, displaying data on the area and opponent as it comes in.
Unity: Sorry if that felt weird, but I warned you. Okay, you're running on my OS now, just like we talked about. You should be stronger and faster now, but don't let it go to your head, as I'm still a bit weak. Sorry.
Unity's attention then returns to Vile, his emotions radiating through the fusion to the point where Megami can feel them as if it were someone next to her.
Unity: But still, let's help end this!
Vile, meanwhile, wastes no time. Jin appears first with a torrent of dark swords. Already more than ready, the militant Navi begins dodging at first, but quickly becomes much more offensive in his assaults. One by one he meets the dark swords with his own armored hands, gripping the blades mid-flight and snapping them in two effortlessly before thrusting his hand in a flat, palm-down motion toward Jin, revealing a set of gun-barrels at the end of each fingertip.
Vile: The only pond here is the one you're drowning in!
With a burst, Vile releases a storm of bullets in a manner similar to a shot-gun at Jin with devastating results. The ground where he had been is instantly decimated by the blow and crumbles. However, Jin himself is saved by GlassMan at the last moment; a move that instantly gains Vile's attention.
Vile: It really doesn't matter to me...
Vile's head turns to Glass Man, his crimson eye burning within the void of his helmet.
Vile: ....WHICH OF YOU DIES FIRST!
The area around Vile explodes from where he stands, rising into the sky and coming down like a diving hawk directly at GlassMan. As he does so, one of his metal fists detaches from his arm and impacts the ONB officer directly into the chest with a powerful slam before Vile lands just inches in front of him with cannon already aimed. In a flash, a large burst of energy launches at point-blank range, mutilating GlassMan with a single burst.
Next, he turns on a dime, cannon still lowered, and releases a barrage of five smaller energy bursts at Iria, each one moving at a slightly different trajectory to cover a larger area. Behind this, Vile retracts one of his hands and raises a buster-like arm, releasing a set of six missiles in rapid succession. Each missile flies a short distance and then splits into four others, causing an absolutely massive area to be decimated in the explosive wake as Vile spins around with a kick-like move, spreading a massive arc of blue flames across the field in a 360o arc.
In spite of all of this, Vile is still not through, Blasting up from the ground again, Vile bends one of his knees and reveals the barrel that had released the bout of flames just moments before. From this same weapon, a set of energy orbs erupt, crackling and sparking, and impact the ground, sending out wave after wave of paralyzing energy across the field.
Edge, still by the river-side, looks up apathetically at the thunderous explosives and the crackling of energy, taking notice of the battle at hand. He watches for a moment in silence before a determined look overtakes his face. Slowly, he rises and stands against the pressure of the battlefield, taking a strong stance and a knowing grin.
Edge: ....aw heck no.
And then Edge logs out.

“Xen-kun...I...can’t move!”
It was a horrifying thought; no...a feeling! Megami’s fingers could not even move an inch. She could not make a fist, let along take a step forward to even toss herself at her enemy and be a last-ditch effort if she wanted to. All she felt at that last moment was a hand upon her back as her mouth was opened trying to voice more words than just that horrible revelation! However, there was something more that was flooding into her! There was a rush of so many indescribable feelings and thoughts that she could not process at the moment. However, she would in time.
“It’s Unity!” Xenneth cried seeing the NetNavi behind Megami, “What are yo-”
Xenneth hushed, for he had to watch with all his focus to see what was occurring. Megami’s silhouette had appeared in the spherical aura, but there was something slightly different as it shown in color as well as texture of her once chest brown colored locks he was used to. Megami was now shimmering in a golden radiance like he had never seen before in his life, as well as her hair being colored to a beautiful sheen of gold coloring. Her clothing was richer than usual, barely even traceable were the rigged rips and damages caused by the Pantheon’s crusade. There was a new Megami, but with a more certainty showing in her deep blue eyes that had given a peculiar glow as she slowly opened them.
~“She looks awesome...er!”~
“Megami-chan? Are you okay?”
Megami’s awareness stirred with the words of Unity and Xenneth that brought her back to the situation. Her moment of paralysis over, she could hear Unity’s voice as if it was a part of her very own thoughts. Her right hand moved to the corresponding side of her face as she touched near her eye socket. The female NetNavi thought at first that perhaps maybe this was some kind of error, or even her vision suffering, but she could look to the NetNavis in the area attacking, standing-by, and the Vile himself as numbers and letters appeared faster than her brain could process.
Or...well...at least how fast it use to process in comparison to now.
“No need for an apology Unity-san,” her mind adding an honorific before she even knew it. It felt natural...including now. “As you are thinking just as I, let us help end this!”
It was almost said in unison as Megami could feel the determination from Unity rise in her very own chest. The power was not overwhelming, as it filled her with a confidence that she could perhaps help in some small partial way in holding off the homicidal NetNavis. Her fingers stayed near her eye socket as she narrowed her eyes; the data becoming readable if she given it all her concentrating and with great timing as she knew she could not do anything to save the NetNavis from the assault of viral who closed in on each of them, but she knew there could be something done about those mounting waves of attacks that threatened the area and the NetNavis with them.
“He’s too fast!”
Megami nodded her head in response to Xenneth’s words, and knew; by focusing her vision once more there was some data that streamed through her that she knew she could use to rectify that problem. With her right hand rising quickly, revealing her palm to the target Vile, she opened her mouth hoping a silent prayer that this would work as well as commanding the OS field with a few set of words: “G-Systems Conflict! Initiating!” Her eyes set on Vile, she hoped that the momentary scan would delay his attack and give her a chance to match speed with him, and give her only a second to explain.
“Xenneth! Mega Chips! Trust me!”
The five words took no more than a single second as she cried them out, Megami had begun to use her time wisely as Unity’s OS was used to its fullest advantage. “Overclock!” her cry so loud and quick that it made her body seem like vapor as she rushed forth and gotten within fighting range along with the rest of the NetNavis. Her right hand reached outward, hoping that Xenneth was still as fast as she was, including with this new processing speed. Almost as if instant cue, a battle chip appeared in front of Megami and she grasped it quickly with a snatch of her hand and crushed it as a blue vapor came rushing from her palm and formed a figure before her very eyes that was clad in a tight red leather body suit.
“Phoenix Force!”
There was a massive slam of the fist from the NetNavi before Megami created an mixture of an inferno, a ransack of rubble, and a wall of magma rise from impact that blazed the missiles and one off and a chain reaction that started to blow them apart, one by one. It seemed that using Unity’s processing speed, even summoning Megami’s Goddess familiar from within her being was faster, easier, and less of a burden. She knew how she could use this power now, and looking to Vile unleash a new attack, she reacted quickly acting to match his speed.
“Come, Yomi! Use your Tidal Mallet!”
A chip dropped before Megami and was wrapped in the same blue essence as before. It had taken only a second to snatch it, crush it, and before her a loud thunderous slam sent a tsunami of water rising as behind it was a single small boy, half as tall as Megami, with a mallet that could make up the size difference, planted into the ground. The water rushed from underneath the weapon and spread in a wide arc that met 180 degrees of the attack aimed at Megami and the NetNavis who were on the front line.
This was the best she could do; even if not engaging directly, she could still use her powers to protect them!
“He’s attacking again!”
Megami acknowledged Xenneth’s warning with swift response. The electricity had come at them in waves, and she felt all of the sudden powerless against the incoming assault seeing she was not sure how to protect them. She gasped once more in realization, “Tsuki!” Her cry was sudden, but she hoped her NetNavi would understand, and at that moment, her prayer was answered. The blue aura that enraptured the battlechip that appeared before her wavered wildly before she grasped it. She squeezed it tightly once more as the currents closed in, and that very moment the chip shattered, all electricity was converged from the field and ran to one point: towards Megami.
“Barely made it!”
The female NetNavi hand was reaching forth touching the shoulder of what seemed like the same small child as before. However, anyone could notice that the child’s features were off, unlike before. This one wore a skirt, the design of her hat was different, and not to mention she carried a long spear instead of a large mallet. She stood alone with Megami thrusting her spear in the terrain and absorbing the electrical shock by causing her own to current to attract it. Megami was holding onto the child, trying her best not to let the remnants of data disappear and not let the paralysis take her.
“I-can...do this!”
Megami’s right hand came to her face, slowly and painstakingly, as she tried to keep herself from submitting to the paralyzing effect of Vile’s attack. Her eyes narrowed as she focused with all her might and hand pressed to the side of her head. With great tenacity, she held her posture while enduring the drawn-in shock and gritted her teeth as she activated one last ditch attack that could make the difference...that could identify one mortal weakness they could use to turn the tide of battle.
“Variable Style, active! Bypass shield...track speed...Critical Marker!”
Megami cast a glare towards Vile, scanning him in haste. She saw his thick armor, saw his impressive speed, and she knew that if she could get past that, she would find a weakness they could take advantage of.
“Go! Now!” Megami cried to the other NetNavis, “While I am fending against his attacks!”
In her painful dilemma, she just needed a moment! Just a mark!

Having witnessed Vile effortlessly avoid JIn's attacks,it became even more apparent how bad it'd be to charge in. At least he had the means to remove him from the line of fire...
But as Glassman noticed Vile look directly at him and propel himself into the sky,Glassman cursed mentally. This guy obviously wasn't going to just 'get bored'...
As for the attack,Glassman didn't expect a projectile punch; but he acted quickly and summoned an aura.Resisting against the punch's kinetic force,Glassman called forth a large cluster of glass shards, firing them directly into the threatening fist, shifting his right-hand into a buster and firing an earth-shattering blast into the attack as well.
Before he could move,Vile was already in his face, ready to unleash more of his fury! Glassman crosses his arms in front of him, with his feet planted firmly on the pavement, as the attack slams against his aura violently, blowing him down the road. His aura then fades, having done its work and Glassman's armor seems to quadruple in thickness.
As he skids backwards,Glassman communicates with his OP very briefly,so he can send a message at some point to one of their allies who...hadn't made a move just yet.
Once Glassman comes to a halt (at the end of a long trench that's been left in his wake),he glares at the navi's follow-up that he aims at Iria and the area itself too. With light-red energy surging into both hands,Glassman dashes alongside the newly formed trench and flings a condensed orb of laser-energy into the path of several of the energy orbs Vile had fired. A second later, the red orb exploded in a sphere of volatile energy, set to intercept at least 3 of the five-part orb-assault.
Fortunately for the three of them, someone else in the area took their stand against the anti-ONB navi as well.
As Megami shouts for them to attack,a thunderclap penetrates the sounds of battle. Not wasting a moment,Glassman commands a deep-red bolt of fire down from above, sending it screaming down toward Vile,as if it were a natural lightning-bolt.
Next,Glassman materializes an illusory scythe in-hand. But instead of getting in close,he pulled it back and threw it in an arch, over the heads of the others. If it hit its mark, one would find that it wasn't a powerful attack at all...but Vile's armor might prove a bit weaker against whatever impacted him next...
Maintaining a certain distance from their enemy,Glassman's systems focused inwardly and the emerald on his navi insignia glowed a little...
Meanwhile,a small text window popped up next to Gravity Beetle's right-eye,miniature so as to not attract attention to it.
{text message}Commander,we'd like for you to get behind a building and ascend to the top. Perhaps you can charge up what Glassman calls a 'Gravity Hold' on this guy...? Or whatever powerful attack you can do. Just stay safe and undetected,we'll do our best down here!
-Shakeem

Iria With most of the attacks intercepted for her in form or another Iria's options were much broader. She weaved out of the way of the first, letting it zip by. The second was met with a light drenched hand that pressured the blast up and back towards Vile. So annoying. she mumbled, shaking her hand. This tin can wasn't rusty that's for sure. A quick assessment of the other navis in the area led to the obvious conclusion that no one could have the fire power necessary to bring Vile down. Except him of course. Iria quick shot off a message to the other combatants sharing this sentiment. To: Jin, Megami, GB, Glassman From: Iria Body: Make him hit himself. Don't be obvious. Short sweet and too the point. Wanting to keep up the appearance of a solid offense the tactician raises a finger up high and a moment later brings it down in Viles direction. A few seconds after that a large volleyball sized stone engulfed in fire hurtles out of the clouds intending to crush the terrorist.

As Megami unleashes her fury against Vile in a show of brilliant and graceful splendor, she can hear Unity's child-like giggle in her mind, the feeling of his determination rising to something far happier than it had been just moments before.
Unity: Wow. I've got to admit, this is great. Keep it up, Megami.EXE!
Unity's cheers come with yet another burst of power for Megami. Be it emotional or physical is hard to tell, but it's there all the same.
Gravity Beetle: Oh for the love of...
As Vile whips around with a flaming torrent, the shelled commander takes wing and blasts upward and back, narrowly avoiding the fire and waves of electricity as he does so. It's here that Gravity Beetle gets both texts, checking them the moment that he reaches the apex of his flight. The first was asking for a Gravity Well to try and stop Vile. But he shakes his head at this; it's too risky right now, as it takes substantial time to charge and would leave the group as a whole too wide-open. Defense types, aren't very common, and Gravity Beetle knows that he'll have his chance to help soon. The second says to redirect attacks. Well, that he can do, but it's a bit late for that at the moment. But not for long.
Well, it had been long enough. Gravity Beetle doesn't have the luxury of continued study of his opponent. The team needs him now, and he'll do his best to deliver. Falling from his vantage point, Gravity Beetle lands like a bomb. The force that his mammoth weight combined with the enhanced pull of gravity on his body causes the ground to quake. With a planted stance, both literally and figuratively thanks to the previous slam, Gravity Beetle rears his golden, axe-like horn to the sky and then brings it down with a crushing blow that cuts through the ground effortlessly, opening a fissure that snakes its way through the group and to Vile. Next, he raises his head level and fires out a volley of dark violet energy bullets from between his horns. Each one of these rapidly expanding orbs grows to roughly the size of a basketball as they fly and imploding in on themselves when they make contact with anything, resulting in a sizable explosion thanks to the debris that they pull in while flying. Anything but the fastest Navi, Gravity Beetle then raises his head and clenches his fists, ready to move in and defend for the team when Vile's next assault begins.

"Easier said than done. Still......I suppose I can try."
As he said this, tow more Jin's split off from the main body and rushed/flew towards Vile. However, they did not stop and rather, started zipping around him like flies. Meanwhile, the main body found somewhere safe to hide and monitor the situation. He also sent a message back to the ONB sub-commander.
To: Iria From: Jin Topic: Re: ----- Body: How did you get this address?

Vile's attention remains steadily on the group that he had fallen to meet, intent on their ultimate destruction at his hand. The only distraction is the pair of clones darting about, which he effortlessly deletes with a few rockets from his still retracted hand. However, something interrupts the militant Navi's attention. One simple phraise that rises above the chaos and reaches Vile's core.
Overclock!
Alerted to Megami's presence, Vile turns his head to the female Navi, his glowing red eye peering to her as one thought runs through his mind; "a volunteer". The wall of fire erupts from Megami's general position as Vile leaps forward and above it, closing most of the gap between himself and his new target. The tsunami comes next, causing Vile to repeat his leap, putting him just a few meters away from the goddess Navi.
Vile: Fending?
Vile's cannon lowers as a set of energy blades in the shape of boomerangs fly out. Each one starts out as roughly one foot across, but quickly grows to nearly six feet in diameter. To make matters worse, each blade that did not manage to impact Megami would go on to slice through the buildings and structures of Element City, dealing who-knows what kind of damage.
Vile: Like a gnat fends off a fly swatter!
Knowing that the others would move next, Vile blasts from where he stands and takes to the sky, narrowly avoiding GlassMan's energy orbs. Orbs that are now aimed at Megami as she deals with the energy blades. The scythe doesn't fare much better; Vile manages to avoid it as well with a quick upward blast from his thrusters. However, this upward momentum also places him in line for the falling rock of fire from Iria. Blasting from the sky like a meteor, it slams into Vile's body and rockets him back to the ground, where he lands with a tumble. This move also puts him in the path of Gravity Beetle's shock-wave attack. However, this one he doesn't allow to get through. Instead, he leans down and bends a knee, releasing a small shell that travels in a short arc. The shell impacts the ground and bursts into a sweltering hot blue flame that towers skyward and engulfs the oncoming shock-wave. However, it doesn't stop here. The burning tower swiftly moves forward and spreads, creating a radiating, infernal wall to threaten all in Vile's wake.

After retrieving the data sent back by his clones, Jin sent another flash mail to Iria.
To: Iria From: Jin Body: Look, this guy's sensors have a nearly limitless capture speed. We're gonna need either 1: someone who can run or fly at nigh unimaginable speeds. 2: to take out his sensors somehow. or 3: a hell of a lot more distractions. Choose whichever option is most viable please. I'm gonna do something crazy. Just make sure everyone knows what to do.
With that mail sent he decided to move between buildings while firing upon Vile. His third and final clone did the same in the opposite direction as they worked in a circular motion with Vile at the center.

*He left the bank, being far enough away from the fighting where he could just leave again actually. He was going to walk a bit more and then slink into the shadows right back into the forest. Being inside the bank and where he was, he hadn't heard the initial impact from the others. Though he could have sworn he had heard one thunderous slam into the ground. He was going to ignore it, but then he could definitely make out explosive noises. Now it wasn't any of his business what people did when they fought in the city, but... this was Element City. And by extension this place had actually gained some merit to him in light of recent events.*
"Let's go see what this is all about then, shall we?"
*He didn't waste any time this time, shooting off in a rush to get to the area. He had arrived around the time to see some golden-clad female fending off a bunch of attacks. He didn't recognize the giant beetle, but he noted him for a different reason. Then came the ones he did recognize, namely Iria and Jin. The latter of two he'd rather not know and the former being known less from meeting her in person and more because it was hard to not know someone who kept getting around as much as she did for the ONB. Then came seeing who was causing the damage and that person being yet another he didn't know in person. He knew this one more from the rumors and legends. And those rumors and legends also said that the guy had been rotting inside of a cell and was supposed to be executed any day now.*
"...Huh. It's pretty rare for me to immediately regret my decisions like this."
*But alas, merit was merit. Even if it was merit that he just didn't want to deal with right now. If he was going to do this he may as well do it right. Ruin probably wasn't in any condition to help at the moment after all so he couldn't afford to be very lax here. He held out his head, an orb of darkness covering Megami, the first female he saw in a defensive field that met the blades launched at her along with GlassMan's own attacks, who he had forgotten to note until now as he didn't recognize him either. The energy orbs had been stopped, the scythe had only been stopped in place rather than destroyed and was only stopped because it was likely dismissed after. But the boomerangs that Vile had sent out himself were still spinning against it, not destroyed either and merely stopping after being held in place for so long. But the defensive field fell at the end of that assault, the master darkloid striking the ground with his fist next as a tower of darkness rose up and shot forward to meet the oncoming wall of fire, meeting it halfway and aiming to extinguish it. Of course he imagined putting it out all on his own would be asking a bit much given the firepower behind it. His own crimson eyes gleamed under his armor, standing up in full in preparation for what was to come with a casual greeting. He would ask what was going on here, but he figured all he needed to know was who to go after and then how to do so. The rest would have to wait. Maybe. After dealing with the fire anyway.*
