This navi seems to be a super-powered navi, that like his creator has pure white hair (when not covered with his blue helmet with a single black stripe down the center underneath the "gem/transfer" signal.). His eyes are a deep green and when he goes into battle his helmet and mouth part apear (like a cain). The rest of his body has barely any armour allowing for not much defense but more agility (it is also a blueish color). His boots are black and a single glowing gem data on each. His hands also have black but with a single blue stripe down it. Whenever he obtains new data these glow to show that he is tranfering it to chip data, or into his PET.
Yet as all things are transitory in this world, Ion has changed greatly through the years and months of battle. Having been shaped by experiences on his own and with friends, his mind, his emotions, his very thought processes changed. With this new discovery of ‘self’ Ion has changed his appearance to reflect a more complete change. A constant reminder that he is not who he was anymore, and no longer must be bound by old rules, old laws, old morals. Now Ion’s primary color scheme consists of whites, grays/silvery, and blues. Ion had lost his helmet after a ‘battle’ with Napalman and ever since has simply allowed his spiked white hair to show normally. His deep green eyes have lightened into sky blue and now have a stronger resolution to them, a confidence that is unshakable now.
Ion’s once blue jumpsuit now has a pure white color to it, and acts as an undergarment to everything else. The material is specially programmed in order to conduct energy along its surface and allows easy movement of data/matter as well. This jumpsuit is ‘decorated’ with lighter and darker shades of gray that twine and swirl around his body. The thinnest thread of blue outlines each anomaly, it is barely noticeable to most but the slight hue difference is there. These slight anomalies in the suit are actually the few indicators of Ion’s newest abilities. Bug. The alterations happened soon after Ion accepted a new element and are currently unchangeable. These patterns though are covered on his forearms by silver bracer’s that lead to his hands, uninterrupted, into Ion’s gloves. On the back of each glove is Ion’s navi symbol. His symbols now also act as a catalyst for his ability to manipulate energy. Within the twining double helix is a program that can gather, form and release energy. The gloves themselves are white and cover Ion’s entire hand. Ion’s boots are in the same style as before with a flair at the top for aesthetics’ sake. The boots are pure white yet have a thin triangular shard of blue gemstone embedded in each shin; it reaches from high shin narrowing into a point a few inches above the ankle. The gemstone acts as a form of bracer for the legs, able to take enormous damage before shattering.
The physical difference is obvious now, perhaps the internal will never be noticed as such a black to white change but it matters not to those he now returns to: Changed and Reborn.
--Background:
Vince used to live in Sharo but his father had big work for Electopia so he moved to the quiet town of ACDC. Vince began working as an apprentice engineer but somehow he became more and more interested in technology and Net Navi’s. His Dad created one for him called Mafiaman, a sick joke on his very own father’s current ‘employment’. He was a reckless, hotheaded, full of himself navi that only cared about power. Vince then took it into his own hands to change this with navi data he found, scanning the Ruins Network one day. With much patience and even greater skill Vince soon had recreated the evil navi, and Ion was born. His father did not approve so Vince took the easy route and moved out of the house to an apartment. He now resides there waiting for a job to come up or a solid career opportunity to rear its head. Vince has also recently looked into moving to Creamland, where the common wealth is very good and beautiful housing is available.
Ion’s history spans far back to the days of his existence as a malignant presence on the network but it is only after his true birth into the network through Vince’s talent that anyone could consider Ion’s real history to begin. His first real appearance in the public was during an extremely troublesome time at the ONB: the Giga-Napalman incident. His involvement in this event was truly his initiation into the real networks and his interactions with others. Ion quickly became steadfast friends with a select few navi’s and with the sudden rise of the Juuka systems across the network, his own personal network of friends became integral to both combating these threats and their own survival. Coming into close contact on multiple occasions with the Juuka empowered navi’s Ion’s first trials in the battle-field truly began to crescendo from mere personal development battles into an outright war for the right survive.
Yet there came no rest after the era of the Juuka’s passed and the rampant nature of Boss-Tier entities held within navi’s became controllable. Instead the true herald of the end was to appear: Generationals. Like a foreign plague on the network the Generationals possessed powers far beyond the capacity of regular navi’s and with society’s navi’s as weak as they were in the face of such undeniable power, there was little time left for the world as it had been known. Times grew tough as the Generationals ravages the world’s networks in search of the keys to unlock the final puzzle-piece, to unlock pandora’s box. Unable to stand against their power, even in the largest of armies, navi’s were forced to rapidly develop and hone their fighting skills to levels previously unfathomable heights. It was at this point in time that Ion took a departure from the friends and society he had been growing close to. Something happened that drove him away. Something was discovered, or revealed, or forced into his life that was never previously there. During this time, Ion became a wandering ascetic of sorts and roamed the farthest depths of the networks with only Vince at his side who sought to experience these wonders and trials too. It quickly became apparent that the duo had come into contact with the Bug element and control of such a controversial, chaotic element does not come easily. During this time of mental, and physical strife for Ion, they worked together to formulate battle plans, new thought processes and even new core programs to allow Ion greater control over the irrepressible impulses that plagued his every living moment. The hardships of the world and the chaos that seemed to consume the very light of life itself across the globe was mirrored as solemnly in his own experiences as in those who waged endless battle after battle in a series of ever-seeking wars against not the enemy, but against themselves to improve themselves. Each navi sought power to defend an ideal they knew they must defend as the world spiraled into a dictatorship of insurmountable power with the herald of Eon. Eon was more than merely a titan who desired complete oblivion though…Eon was the servant of man that, in being bound by his fate, brought about true change. He was the one who challenged the world to find something greater than themselves to truly dedicate their lives to and fight for until their dying breath. Many did. Many found the strength to rise to his call and many more were lost in his game; the endgame. Ion was amongst those innumerable navi’s who were forever changed by the revelations of the endgame and through the miracle of camaraderie walked away with his life. As the conclusion of reality drew closer, it was only then that Ion managed to acquire a manageable control over his ultimate vice but also his power. He developed the bug elemental out of desperation, out of necessity. Ion’s involvement in the endgame left him marked, both in physique and mentality. He discovered in the bedlam of battle his true nature, Ion found two truths in his life that would forever change the very essence and motive behind his actions. Amongst the indomitable emotions that scourged the navi’s of the endgame and forever branded those legendary moments into the memories of man, Ion found solace.

After his involvement with Eon, Ion came to a very strong and profound conclusion. As his life flickered on the brink of oblivion, a chaotic purgatory of past and future consumed his mind and brought with it a defining part of his path. Ion realized two things from Eon and Revelation Forte; all life deserves freedom. Every sentient being, the whole world, the whole of the universe needed to be free, and only in that freedom could one follow their path to happiness. That is the second Truth Ion discovered. Ultimately each person’s life should be dedicated to happiness or the pursuit of such an ideal. Yet his happiness is not the same happiness as a darkloid, as a florist or any other infinite number of persona’s in existence. With this knowledge and revelation of his desire for a free world, Ion knew he had found something more than his own short existence; he found something worth fighting for: worth dying for.
To truly understand Ion’s character one must first understand that which now serves to motivate him. As his operator I, Vince, have been documenting and profiling the development both mentally and socially of Ion since his creation and it is my understanding that these two key concepts have become absolutely essential to even beginning to try and describe Ion’s personality. Since Ion seeks happiness and freedom for all, his life has become highly dedicated to the personal development of his own abilities while maintaining a focus on the individual members of society themselves. It is only in this ever-seeking pursuit of happiness that Ion actually finds contentment and fulfillment. Whether it be discovering new knowledge, meeting new people or experiencing life in any facet, Ion simply enjoys living life and facing the constant hardships or challenges that are thrown at him. This has led Ion to become intensely non-judgmental and has taken up a very neutral attitude towards the societal definitions of good (light warriors) and evil (darkloids), in an effort to expand both his mind and his experiences within his own life. No longer does he condemn the use of dark chips, and no longer does he condemn a pure embrace of instinctual action; as these are merely different perspectives on what makes a person happy; these are choices that a free navi must make and will choose for themselves in order to attain their highest source of happiness. Ion also demonstrates extraordinary self-discipline both over his actions and his emotions, though this is both due to the initial programming that was changed and the necessity of it. Without the cool, level-headed, and constantly strategic mind to control the sub-systems within his body, Ion becomes an endangerment to control systems and navi’s around him as his bug element will run rampant when provoked and guided by emotions instead of logical, distanced thought. So whether his self-discipline has grown under the influence of these factors or merely been brought to attention by the sheer dedication I’ve witnessed in him in spite of trial, I cannot be sure. He seeks knowledge of the world from all area’s and even if it is not directly relevant to him or his abilities, Ion shows a marked interest in learning for simply the sake of learning.

Ion lay gently suspended in an endless void. This network had been specially created by Vince himself on an isolated hard drive, one that could not connect to the Net. With Ion’s increasing troubles with his control over bugs Vince had finally deemed that Ion required training of a new sort. His body had grown accustomed to the constant strain of glitches weaving themselves around his data until finally Ion had evolved beyond the parameters of his original programming. The very moment his body had been altered problems began to occur, his lack of control sent everything he touched into spasmodic seizures as he passed on the corruption. Vince’s PET and programs were sent spiraling into the trash bin as Ion infected his surroundings with the bugs his body consumed on a daily basis. Unable to see an end to the problem Vince had formulated this plan to grant his navi the discipline that would be necessary to wield the Bug Element in battle…
This was Ion’s fifth time in what Vince had dubbed Discipline and he so discouraged called The Void.The purpose was for Ion to gather the glitches and bugs he had amassed into a state that he desired, eventually he should be able to structure and fill entire scenes to his desire. As of yet he had met with minimal success, a small candle flame to illuminate the darkness, a glowing sky blue orb and once even a few panels to rest on. Today though, Ion was tired of this daily routine, he desired rest after two to three hours of glaring at the inky darkness everyday. Laying back and making himself comfortable in the strange weightless, lightless world Ion shut his eyes meditatively and day dreamed of one of his very favourite places…
It was the rolling foothills caught in the vibrant reds and yellows of autumn. Leaves crinkled delightfully underfoot as he made his way up the ascending slope towards a denser stand of fiery red trees. The slope was sprinkled with young and old maple trees alike, each shedding their burdensome appendages and littering the ground with a mosaic of brilliant colour. Reaching his small nook, Ion seated himself on a soft pile of leaves gathered at the base of a particularly large maple tree. Smiling gently at the serene view spreading out before him, the leaves above him rippled with the warm westerly wind. Each branch bearing yellowing leaves, chimes signifying rest for the coming winter. Laying his head back, resting it on the rough bark of the tree, the sweet maple sap scent was brought to his attention. A sweet syrupy smell mixing ever so slightly with the natural earthy odour of the foothills, the warm untainted air sent shivers down his back as he realized how long it had been since he had relaxed like that…like this.
Startled by this sudden conclusion in his day dream Ion snapped up, eyes flashing wide as he realized the scent had been permeating the air around him, not just in a dream. What he saw took his breath away, the very scene laid out in his mind lay sprawling out before him. The bright red, orange and yellow leaves littering the ground in perfect synchronism to his dream, the warm wind sending the maple leaves spiraling into the air and ushering them away. Even the fractious bark behind his head was as he imagined. What had once been a void was now filled with a wonderful scene of peace. Flushing with victory Ion punched a fist to the sky in triumph, to his dismay and utter disappointment the scene around him began to fragment. Darkness boiling up from beneath the surface, inky smudges ate away at the fine detailing and the trees began to bend, leaves that once had whispered solemnly now screamed with the agony of being ripped away from their place in reality. The bedlam was complete, the senses he had so proudly found to be real corrupted themselves as he let the image fade from his mind. In the moment of joyful triumph his focus was lost, and so the manifestation too.
Finally the destruction and chaos died down as Ion remained alone and surrounded by darkness once again. Choking back his surprise and sadness at seeing one his favourite places undergo that horrible change, a small seed of hope bloomed within his heart though. His thoughts positively wandered now, ‘If I can do it once, I can do it again. If I can do it again then I could perfect it, sustain it, change it. This power may actually be controllable! I’m not chained to a destiny of corruption and taint, I can work with this power now.’
