|Navi & RP Information| -Navi Name: Megami.EXE
--Appearance:
[ Face Claim: Belldandy from the series Ah! My Goddess!]
Megami takes the form of a female Goddess coveted in garb patterns of blue and white. Unlike her previous appearance however, she has seemed to become more or less changed because of the damage she sustained during the Network’s temporary destruction. The female NetNavi has a more distinct dominant white dress garb that parts and open at the thigh level to reveal a cotton cloth that is skin tight along her lower body. The parting of the dress is overlapped by a blue tunic with a triangular tail that goes ankle length. The garb travels over her shoulder and covets her chest area and converges at the center on her NetNavi symbol that consists of a dual pair of angel wings instead of just a single wing like her past symbol.
Megami’s clothing appearance is slightly different, but her physical features in general seem to have changed more. Instead of a bundle ponytail of chestnut brown hair, it simply hangs now in a flowing fashion, but usually slants to the right shoulder. Her eyes are usually furrowed, usually showing a more serious and brooding manner than in the past where it showed a light-hearted and kind expression. Her right eye, when closed, shows a connecting scar which shows she was caught in a serious damaging attack that deformed some cosmetic data. The single scar travels from her right cheek to her upper right left brow. Wherever Megami goes now, she carries her Khakarra in hand that changes forms to suit her technique for battle.
--Personality:
Megami’s personality can be summarized as strict and serious.
Mostly because of her personality change, Megami has become very serious in battle and focuses on techniques to quickly end the battle. However, even if not, she becomes more aggressive and clever in battle to the point that her strength can be overwhelming. This also reflects her regular personality when interacting as she tends to try to be blunt and straight to the point, neglecting consideration for a person’s feelings either partially (if lucky) or altogether as she feels a harsh reality has dawned on her: that it would never be possible for her love for Xenneth to be anymore than that.
Harsh and straight to the point, Megami avoids elaborating or going into detail and seems to be more authoritative. When speaking to others, she tends to try to keep them at a distance thinking she would be more of a burden than an actual help. As a NetNavi, she tries to be more optimal in responses and tasks than before. Even though she still does not possess knowledge on the internet or how to be a “proper” NetNavi, she has a much more manageable skill set that allows her to obtain information to the point that she specializes in an array of matters. She slowly, but surely, embraces her side that makes her the “Goddess” NetNavi, that she is able to do great things all on her own when she considers the proper resources.
Between Xenneth and Megami, she seems to be the only one that changed. With a more cold attitude, Megami tends to try to be a little more distant from Xenneth to not make her feelings obvious, and thinks that serving him to the optimal manner will make him happy. Misguided, she does not even notice that her obsession with her perfection and trying to help neglects their friendship altogether making Xenneth sink slightly back into his lonely self. With their relationship and synchronicity in strain, Megami tends to become more of a program than a unique entity that goes above the system parameter as her initial design was.
With her emotions in such disarray, it holds her back from bringing out her true potential.
--Background:
Born as a program from a black box and a sample of DNA from Xenneth’s mother, Megami was born with human intelligence, but the potential of a program. She has infinite wisdom that comes from good moral and judgment. Upgrading previously from Xenneth’s NetNavi that was meant for High School work at GreenTown Academy (GTA), she was a perfect assistant for virus busting with her skills, but also very useful when trying to analyze the feelings of people. Her strength comes from “Aura,” an energy that comes from the fluctuating emotions of human beings, and because of her being born from moral of humanity, it seems to be unique that she controls it and applies it as she sees fit.
Upon the partial destruction of a net area, Megami was caught in its oblivion thus destroying her data. With herself separated from the black box to the point that her shell wanders the net like the phantoms of data that appear and attack NetNavis. However, with her black box and “NetNav Icon” reuniting with her and after augmentation from Nu’s data, Megami’s personality returns with control over her dormant powers that she had no access to before. However, with these abilities and personality, Megami has a darkness that dwells inside her and starts to grow because of her realization that she had “died” in some way, and left Xenneth alone without a NetNavi.
Since Megami’s revival, she retains their usual daily activities and seems to be more hands off with net society. She has a spark in her that makes her help people that are in trouble, but she does so while holding on to a darkness that the moment Xenneth was sad and alone was her fault. With her holding onto this darkness, Megami affects the other deity programs tied to her to the point that her darkness becomes apparent with how she interacts with others. Distancing herself from Xenneth, Megami is a potent NetNavi able to take care of herself to some extent, but at the risk of losing her best friend...and a person she loves deeply beyond comprehension.
Extra/OtherMisc.
Although Megami is a solo NetNavi, she has the unique ability of producing four unique Navi Chips called “Deity Chips.” These chips represent facades of Megami’s being from the Black Box program that represents her power. With the science to convert emotions to data, SciLab scientists were actually to personify some mythical Electopian Gods and Goddesses into actual programs with unimaginable power, and even better was Megami who acts as their avatar. With her will and acting as their building block, Megami is able to summon three different Goddesses in battle to help her in battle.
Amaterasu
[ Face Claim: Burstinitrix from the Anime Series Yu-Gi-Oh! GX]
Primary Element: Solar, Fire Sub-Elements Breaking, Stone, Sand, Toxic, Plasma Range: Close-Combat
Representing the Shinto God of the Sun, Amaterasu materializes as a spandex red clad white skin female who attacks with a tenacious look in her eyes. Powerful at close range combat and making any object on the field a weapon or projectile, she specializes in brute strength and gives Megami’s aura the characcteristics elements that have to do with fire, intense heat, and brute force that can shatter almost any shield. As an aide in battle, she seems adamant in her ability to strike first and ask questions later giving Megami time to often follow up with ranged attacks.
TsukiYomi
[ Face Claim: Sakubo from the VG Series .Hack// G.U.]
Primary Element: Lunar, Aqua (Yomi), Electricity (Tsuki) Sub-Elements Wind, Blade, Ice, Shadow, Dark Range: Mid/Close-Range Combat
The Shinto God of the Moon, Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto was so powerful with the forces of “Push and Pull” that he actually split himself and his power into two beings: Tsuki and Yomi. One representing the push and the other the pull, Tsuki and Yomi take the form of bickering brothers and sisters that aide Megami in battle by mounting powerful follow-up attacks. They move quickly and fiercely, and their unique method of summon is a Program Advance using Navi Chips to summon them both at the same time that has to be done in quick succession. Usually, one deity has to work together with Megami to do so since they have to distract the opponent. Representing the natural push and pull forces in nature, and the pure rage of a storm, Tsuki and Yomi grant Megami’s aura characteristics of the moon, its mysterious dark nature, and swift swordsmanship.
Gaia
[ Face Claim: KOS-MOS from the VG Series Xenosaga]
Primary Element: Space, Wood Sub-Elements Seeking, Laser, Sonic, Metal, Light Range: Sniping/Far-Ranged Combat
Unlike the previous deities, Gaia is Greek, and another characteristic about her is her form. As the Goddess of Creation, Gaia is looked upon as a mother of all that creates the Earth and everything within it. However, her form is discernable from whence it was: clad in armor, insides with wiring, but retaining the beauty and majesty of a woman, Gaia has changed to represent the technological advancements of human beings and the preservation of weaponry that incorporates Earth natural and mystical power that remains unforgotten beneath it all. Even if her name is distorted and she is referred to as a machination of what she represents (Agia Unit MK-II – Mother of Potential as she calls herself), she retains the characteristics that shape Megami’s aura to have the powers of nature, a touch of advanced tactics of a genius mind, and the light of human potential that shines brighter in the darkest of times.
