Gigamerican Combat District. Climate within normal range. Visibility normal. Skyscrapers provide both vantage points and cover. Vision range little under maximum. Wind velocity within normal range. Battle processes normal. Heartrate above normal. Try to keep control. These internal notes fluttering about the girl sniper's head. The grit and dirt of the pseudo Colosseum that she found herself in was very much working against her. In no way did she want to fight in these conditions, even if they were about optimal. Why then was she worried? What was it in her that made her shudder in the public eye of a tournament? Perhaps the answer was in the question. Noal didn't like working in the public. Her job was that of an assassin, not some trick show rabbit to be shown off and jump through hoops. "Noal?" Of course, the entry into the tourney was not of her own choosing. "Noal!?" Eric Newton, some otherwise average street thug, had requested entry into the tournament to prove his skill as an operator. "Noal!" Why Father had gone so far to lend out Noal for this purpose was beyond her, but it was not her position to question Father's absolute truth and wisdom. ... a Mafia Joe would've done just as well though. Eric: "NOAL!"Ugh. Like a mosquito that eventually stung, the buzzing fly that was her current operator just wouldn't shut up. You'd think that the Sniper might be granted a solo mission once in a while. NOPE! Noal: "What do you want!? Can't you see I'm focusing? (Desu?)" That was a lie. If anything Noal was boxing the air, hyper, like a small child hopped up on sugar. Sweat beads ran down her face. The midday sun was not kind on her, especially with the nine-or-so guns strapped all over her body weighing down on her. This suicidal work out was pure energy. She couldn't get over the idea of being in a tourney. Eric: "Stay calm Noal. The fight hasn't even started yet and you're running around like a- a-." Eric didn't know where he was going with this. He was inexperienced, a runner. Why the boss gave him the most precious navi in the organization was a mystery to Eric. He wouldn't let Haine down though. Eric: "Look Noal. Just pay attention. Let's greet our opponent." The disembodied voice had a strange quality to it. Like nails on a chalkboard. As much as he tried to tell Noal to calm down, he himself was excited. He was in awe at his command deck. Newton adjusted his glasses as his shining blue eyes took the glory of what was beneath him. Buttons, meters and lights flashed like pyromaniacal fireworks show. Meanwhile, Noal was confused at Eric's sudden show of sportsmanship. A thug with morals - that's not a good combination. She pivoted, light on her feet, the large rifle strapped to her back bouncing and jingling as it hit against the guns strapped to her arm and hips. Looking to Megami, Noal put out a hand. Noal: "May the best combatant win! (Desu.)"

"May the best combatant win! (Desu.)"
“Oh?” chestnut brown lochs were like feathers as they swept wayward in the rounding twirl of her body. “Oh! I truly agree!”
The female had barely noticed her surroundings when she had heard the voice of the young female NetNavi. She was too busy taking all her surroundings in the like the most crisp breath of air in the floral season. Even with the towering buildings and skyscrapers of Gigamerica, Megami saw them as they were magnificent statues crafted in memorandum of something spectacular! Even more puzzling than the female NetNavi questioning something so ordinary and mundane was that this was her expression every time she logged into a net area she had not seen in at least a week.
She was like a child and this was the unknown world to her.
“Megami-chan?” a worried, but familiar voice, called to her from an opening square image, “Are you sure about this?” The big blue eyes of the violet haired boy had shown a lot of concern upon seeing Megami. “I am not so sure fighting like this is good right now. I-I mean…tournaments are not my thing! I get nervous! My palms get sweaty! I can’t stop panicking!”
Obviously, it would show to anyone how uneasy Xenneth Hikari was.
After all, Xenneth was just a simple boy who was scared of fighting, as well as leading, and not to mention the average fly! However, even with all those fears, he dreaded one thing: the thought of Megami dragging him along into something he did not expect. He was safe behind the hard covered spine of a book and gazing at the still unchanging text of familiar theorists and programmers. Yes, Xenneth Hikari was the perfect brain when it came to knowing how things worked and adding the most difficult equations together. The violet haired boy was an innovator, a lover!
He certainly was not some professional Net Operator!
“Do not worry, Xen-kun!” Megami said, “I have the utmost fate in your abilities! Not only that, but as long as we have your brilliant skills! We shall find and obtain victory!”
She was the most naïve woman in the cosmic known universe cyber world!
It was still only mere months that Megami had awaken to the Cyber World as some sort of anomaly program. Her strange attachment to Xenneth was mysterious, even to him, someone who could understand programs! Even if Megami was nothing more than a simple Net Navigator, and himself a Net Operator, he could not help but to realize that they had a bond that made her power transcend beyond system parameters because of the strange P.E.T. device he held. Sure, Xenneth could understand the gist of what such an item does, but even as his crystal blue eyes reflected the image of it in his irises, he could not begin to comprehend what device he was looking at.
Why did he have to find such items and technology that was so weird?!
“Xen-kun! We are nearing the start!”
Megami had already had her hand locked with Noal’s, intending to shake with a gentle and hefty swift action. The screen behind Megami closed as Xenneth had no place on the battlefield, but rather at his desktop and hands on his Battlechips and P.E.T. His selection was sparse, and his knowledge of just what kind of device he was holding was limited. He only knew of the basic funtions of his arsenal, but he knew Megami well to know what their advantage was: that she was a NetNavi full of surprises!
“My apologies for the delay!” Megami’s voice was too soft to be that of an enemy’s.
The female NetNavi had let go of Noal’s hand and taken gradual steps back. Her robe flowed forward, coveting and shadowing her sandals making her seem like a Goddess afloat. Her right hand stretched outward making a soft glowing light appear and the lengthy form of a bar collect in a misty intangible form. The glow of the soft light was just as dim as her braces in hand, and could show to be a warning to the careless. With a gentle, kind smile that hid the heart of a Valkyrie, Megami nodded her head and prompted to her opponent with her last question before battle.
“Shall we begin?”

Ok so it's been a month I'm really sorry, I've been really busy IRL. Dunno if you want to continue since Senka left.

((Well, since an event jumped off, the site is whole new, and Senka is MIA; then I pretty much lost the "muse." However, if you want to continue, I can pull some out of...somewhere. >_>))
