[bgcolor=001999] “Light a fire! Flame in my heart!” _______________________________ “But…!” Megami had reached forth for the Avatar as if to beg for his attention, but his form was reduced to nothing.
Whether it was remaining or not, Megami did not know, but she lowered her head knowing the things she heard today were like some sort of feud that would lead to an inevitable war. “Darkloids…hmm…” Megami heard nothing of it, knew nothing of it, but it felt like that it was of great importance. The NetNavi had spoke of wars and large entities that Megami could not began to comprehend, but simply imagine because of them sounding as if they were leaders. However, where were these “legendaries” in the face of this argument?
“I want…” she had spoken lowly, “No, I need to understand.”
Who these figures were? It was out of reach to her! Not only that, but it sounded as if searching for them would be unwise. They would lead danger to Xenneth, not to mention that they most likely would be just as stubborn as these NetNavis were. Megami knew this domain now; a sanctuary for this thing called, “The Order” but where would Darkloids stay? Where would they go when it came to places that welcomed the reaches of darkness?
“O-oh!” Megami’s mouth opened in a gape realizing something, but just as quickly she cuffed her hand over her mouth.
These walls literally had ears after all.
Turning on her heel, Megami had decided on what she could do! Lowering her hand and lightly padding in the direction of the doorway, she exited the confines of the place and then activated her log-out function in order to exit the area. She was certain she would intervene in this quarrel, but she would not pick sides, nor would she stand by and watch.
She would have to take example from what she had just heard.

From elsewhere in the network an inky shadow arrives, being blown around, as if sand in the wind. Anyone near, that is, if anyone was near, could feel the pure wretch and darkness that was this being. They moved silently, but quickly, somehow drifting into the fort. Whatever lie ahead, the darkness hoped it could find enlightenment rather then further condemnation.

*As the darkened being approached the castle, several thorny tendril-like roots sprang from the ground, constricting the navi, suspending him a few inches above the ground. Just then, also sprouting from the ground is a navi similar to Coda, but made entirely of wood. Holding a thorned weapon at his throat, the tree-being spoke spitefully.*
Yggdrasil: You are unwelcome here, Darkloid! You must promise not to surface your face around here, 'lest I tear it from your moral-less body!

The sickly creature that barely held itself as a navi looked at Yggdrasil, slipping through the grasps of the trees as if sand flowing freely between someone's fingers. "I lack a body. I have been torn apart. Do you think I chose this form? My body is weak, my mind lacks focus. I am but reduced to my soul." The navi, or some liquid like a navi, stared up at the wooden one, black eyes piercing Coda's lookalike. "I come seeking help."

Once upon a time long ago, I would have eliminated a shadow that withstood my light without hesitance. Once, long ago, there was no mercy in these hands. As I looked upon the shade, the soul, lingering though it was as spiteful spirits are wont to do, curiosity struck me. From the doorway it appeared weak, and thusly I gave a nod to my confidant and home. The days had not been kind to my own soul... the huntings took their toll. This one would be tested before its judgment, allowed at least the chance to be spared by its own strength, or satisfied in death.
My shield was brought to bear, shield alone, as it contained and still to this day contains much of the power over soul and spirit on which I drew... And words came to mind as ever they do. It flashed white as the pure dawn and from it issued a torrent of warmth, precursor to the purification.
"Help might be delivered, seeker."

Finale
The mysterious ink-like creature takes a familiar form. An overcoat and jeans, and shaggy hair, though it keeps it's slick black colouration. "I'm not sure who I am any more. What's the point of it all? There's always something stronger. Something that can beat me down and destroy me. What's the point in fighting for something if you can hardly fight?" Finale spilled his thoughts, the variety of things running through his mind. Like he has said before, he was confused, and his mind hardly functioned, just a constabt stream of thoughts.

An age old question, the shade posed as it formed. But it was only one side of one answer to an ugly equation. Would that I were as apt then to provide an answer as I am now. Again a gesture to Yggdrasil: Stand down. Myself, I lowered shield and guard the same. My confidence then in the answer astounds me now. "To try." Perhaps wiser would have been to even suggest that fighting was not the only answer, that there were other paths. But no. "To uphold your values until another might take them up, stronger and better than yourself... to find that person." And here today we sit, nay? Look what has passed...

Finale
"So then. To try?" The dark sand adjusted itself as if to look at Coda. "...I guess that makes sense." And the darkness slicked back, back to where it came from. A few moments pass. And so returns the creature in its full form - or even lesser, depending on how you look at it. The Viral King lacked an arm and a massive hole pierced through his chest where his scar used to be. "So. Who are you then?"

Another typical question. Another typical answer, atypical for the moment. "No." What impudence! I walked past as I elaborated: "You do not enter a place not your own and ask two questions without first answering that about yourself. Who are you?"

Finale
"I coulda sworn I a'ready answered that one." Finale answered, rubbing the cauterized wound where his arm used to be. "I'm a lost soul with a torn up body. Some people call me Finale, though I suppose that the name don't mean much." Finale put out his hand, looking for a handshake. "You?"

((Knew there was another post to make. Sorry =X)) Ignoring the hand, I continued on my route further into the alcazar past both the newcomer and Ygg's simulacrum of myself, but spoke over-shoulder to the... guest. He seemed as young in soul as he was lost. "What you are means less than the name when the question is 'who'." I stopped at the doorway and looked him sternly up and down. Mysteries weren't on the agenda for the evening, nor would I entertain the possibility. Perhaps in the morning, I thought to myself. "My name is Coda. Who I am is a staunch defender of moral rightness in troubled times. What I am is tired. The door is not barred should you wish to leave, nor will you be removed from the premises, but my limit for philosophical quandaries and idle pleasantries is reached. Any further questions?"

Finale ~Music~"Defender of rightness? I suppose..." Finale trailed off. He smiled, something reinvigorating his mind, his soul even. 'To try.' Even if he couldn't succeed in what he was attempting to do, what massive undertaking it was, he could say he tried, and that was close enough. "I suppose we'll meet again then." Finale walked briskly past Coda and his wooden clone, stopping only at the door. "Thanks, Coda." And like the wind he was off. Time to get the show on the road.

Jax [Continued from Reconstruction Site Pg9]
The dark portal opened up at the mouth of the archaic castle gates. Jax emerged from it and immediately the colors flowing within the lower reaches of his cloak took on a vibrant white and green dual coloring, reflecting the areas serenity. He glanced around and saw no other navi right away.
Electing to search the old fashion way the hooded navi started into the unusually crafted castle. The tentacle wriggling sporadically in the giants right hand as he explored the inner confines of the first floor.

A dark portal opened up before the doorstep, allowing a navi in a purple and black pinstripe suit to pass through and enter the structure.
"I sense a great power emanating from this place. I must have this power."
As the navi said this, he pulled out his guitar, and started playing in a malevolent and malicious tone. After playing for about a minute, he listened to see how long the last chord echoed, to judge the acoustics.
"So, I guess I just need to find out where this power is coming from."

Even as Legion's creations came into being, and stood so for a time after he left. Glowing cracks began to appear around the trees themselves. Threatening to have them crumble to dust. Perhaps unknown to Legion at the time, but his powers were developing at the very least. The glowing orange cracks spread throughout the entire structure, and while its integrity stood mostly, parts began to fall away. The creation of a castle was difficult after all, to even perform such a large scale renovation without assistance was a feat, even if it almost instantly began to fall into ruin.
