Hey, Im Keristero! I prob wont be very active, I may not even get around to creating a navi but I would like to say hello!
Ive always wanted a game like this to exist, where you can create your own navis in insane detail, and this website you have here is amazing.
I would also love it if an automated version of this website was to be made, and i have a decent amount of programming experience so Im gonna have a wee go now and see what i can come up with, if the results are interesting ill let you know!
Now to read all the rules ><.
Cya round!

Haha, goodluck. Someone tried to program the MMM as a game once and the result was interesting, but I believe he lost enthusiasm for the project. xD

Hey man! Nice to meet you, I'm sure. The name's Paruga, happy to help in any way!
But yeah, Zeke, the member who worked on it (the game) got pretty close- almost getting the battle system down. His screenshots were really neat.
Anyway, best of luck to you and hope you enjoy the place!

Zeke had posted the last build of the game and the source, but it seems to have been purged. Then again, I'm not very good at searching.
However, it's nice to meet you, and welcome to the MMM.
If you don't mind, what programming experience do you have? I am also a (hobbyist) programmer, and having another programmer on board to talk to would be nice. Do you have any particular language you like to work in?

For about 3 years Ive been making games and programs with MMF2 (multimedia fusion 2) as a hobby during spare time but recently ive gotten into C# in Unity 3D and ive done a bit of Lua in Minecraft (computercraft) and Gmod (Expression 2).
I started trying to make a Megaman battle network MMO using the normal MMBN battle system about a year ago in MMF2, but lost interest because the multiplayer features of MMF2 could not support it well.
Ive been following Megaman Chrono X for a few years and spotted this site recently, I thought this battle system would be much easier to replicate in MMF2.
Im 16 Btw and would be intrested in working on a project but have lots of schoolwork to do and friends to game with so i prob wont be able to stay active for too long.
But I would like to have a go at making this in MMF2!

[bgcolor=303030] Screenshots are here (these are the most recent ones, atleast. I don't think there were any others.) And there were some programmy stuffs here that still don't register as "readable" in my mind. Oh, and, welcome to the site. Glad to have a new face around -- if you need any help making a navi, just poke one of us xD

Hey, you don't have to be active to have fun! Glad to hear that you'd love to make a project. I'm not very well versed in MMF2, and last time I tried C# I up and quit because of Microsoft's CONFUSING docs ;>_>. However, I consider myself at least decent in C++ and in Python(Lua's nice, but lack of conventional OO is what made me lean towards Python.) One of the major issues I find with the MMM's system is the complete creativity when it comes to stats. It is something I will never attempt to code. (I lie, I attempt making nits and pieces all the time, I fail horribly 99% of said time.) Irrelevant: The code in Zeke's thread is setting up strengths(normalelestr) and weaknesses(normalelewk) All of the ds_list_add() calls are functions which add the second item to the first item(EDIT: As a list, not numbers). EDIT: I realize how much easier those declares would be if Zeke just used a word and had every two bits be a s/w. I need to think more before I post things. That was mostly Warrior. /Irrelevant

Cool, thanks for the links The Remnant+Team Shast Star. "One of the major issues I find with the MMM's system is the complete creativity when it comes to stats." I still have not quite worked it out, but ill prob let people write their own descriptions for each attack ect and then let them add a limited number of tags like (Shield) or (Dodge) and define the strength of each tag, then the number of tags/power of the tags can be limited in the same way it is on this site. also, heres a screenshot of that game I tried making filetrip.net/view?O1QrtoffDQthats about as far as I got, you could move around, use charge buster (slashcross was a slash attack) ,battle metools, a few other viruses and direct IP battle other players. One of the nice things was that you could allocate 5 Power up points onto attack, charge or speed before battles :D. EDIT: One of the main reasons I stopped working on this was because I made tonnes of progress one day but it got corrupt and I had to restart from a previous backup :(
