The area returned to the quiet desolate snowfields after the navis had left. And it remained quiet for a while, few coming through the area, and those that did rarely lingered.
But after some time, a lone figure would be found slowly treking across the flats, his teal scarf whipping in the wind behind him as he carried on. Eventually he came to a halt, seeming to be waiting for something, or someone. He stood, arms crossed, facing into the wind in silence, sans the wind blowing through the area.
'This had better work...'

[bgcolor=570041] “We’re going to have so much fun!” _______________________________ Gods! Call the Gods! A second felt like a year to the irritable anomaly and she already wanted to run her “mule” through with an iron pipe!
“Is something wrong Nu-chan?”
Here sweet voice was nothing short of powdered sugar on a scoop of vanilla ice cream, topped with chocolate and a cherry on top! The voice of the young female genius with her curly hair that was as blue as the skies yonder and mixed in with tents of a sweet bubblegum pink, and honey yellow that made Nu detest her; but also admire her for the many reasons of her innocence. She was untainted, kind, and had even was nothing short of kind to beg to request to have the bug in guises of a NetNavi, Nu, to log in and answer the desperate request on the Electopia BBS.
“Are you still mad?” the sweet voice asked kindly, “I know you probably are not a NetNavi, but you can still navigate like one. Besides, I think this will be a nice time for us to get to know each other and let me know how you function as a program!”
If she was not so nice, Nu would swear she was a pet, but she did not doubt the female “operator” and her words.
Nu had ended up in this barren tundra after distancing herself from the teleporters. Sure, she had her own methods of going from place to place on the Network, but she had to keep the rouse that she had some properties that were mostly NetNavi. The data bug could not alarm the sweet, naïve Rosetta Lu too soon in her incomplete form. Besides, she was kind of taking a liking to her kindness and generosity. For goodness sakes, even when Nu was damaged from going off on her own in that bank heist, Rosetta had taken the time to heal her no questions ask and even let it go after getting no answer once.
She was so kind, it was stupid!
“Oh, Nu! Do you see that over there?”
Her voice, however, was like a scratching set of nails across a chalkboard for some reason, but regardless of that, Nu could not ignore that the young woman was right about seeing a distant figure. There, someone stood with a teal scarf and features that were not of an ordinary NetNavi of the Official Net Battler or the average Normal Navi design. She would know, as Nu had eaten her share of those weaklings. Approaching the NetNavi, still, Nu had taken Rosetta’s alert as a sign that this was perhaps something to do with the girl’s meaningless task to help a NetNavi in need.
*SNAP!*
Nu popped her fingers with a snap as if to get the NetNavi’s attention like some waiter at a bar. Her right hand gesturing her index finger after a sound snap, her left on her supple hip, and her right brow raised as if asking “Who are you?” in the most rudest of manner. _______________________________ “But I hope I die from it!” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Here We Go Again!” by ParamoreIC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----

The navi had seen Nu approach, even through the wind and snow, but then again that is no surprise as he was used to such conditions and worse even. He wasn't overly impressed by the appearance of the one that accepted this request, though he knew looks could be deceiving. He just hoped this was one of those times.
When Nu had stopped in front of him, he remained silent for a moment as he swept his gaze over her, trying to size her up so to speak, but he didn't get far before she caught his attention with a loud snap.
His gaze met her own, waiting to see if she would speak first or not. But after a few moments, when that became apparent that she wouldn't he finally broke the silence between them.
"Not one for words then I take it. Neither am I usually. I suppose I should thank you for coming though." he trailed off for a moment as he shifted his weight a bit, seemingly uncomfortable, before he continued. "The job is in the most simplest of terms, to delete me. Though I need you to make sure to permanently delete a certain part. It should be easy to recognize, in comparison to my data, but I don't know of any way to be sure that it will be gone with out my own deletion happening as well so that you can hopefully get at the core of the problem.
Rikaru had paused for a moment to let the information he had given sink in, uncrossing his arms and turning to the side slightly and looking to the sky before continuing. "This will not be as simple as me standing here and letting you do this though. That viral core of data I need removed has a mind of its own, and WILL take over to defend its self, or me rather, as its host. I cannot guaranty your safety or survival if you are weak. So if you have any doubts, leave now. I will find someone else. If you believe you can help me...you will get compensation from the bounty on my head, and something additional from me when I am restored."
At this point Rikaru turned back to Nu and locked his gaze back in hers before simply asking, "Any questions?"

[bgcolor=570041] “We’re going to have so much fun!” _______________________________ "Not one for words then I take it. Neither am I usually. I suppose I should thank you for coming though."
Don’t mention it? When Nu thought it, she really meant it!
Seriously, the only thing worse than sitting in a computer listening to the young woman talk about her day at school was being robbed of the freedom to pursue knowledge. Nu was a curious bug who wanted to ingest data, assimilate it into her being, and understand it through experiencing the use of that power as her own. She desired to expand her body to an unbelievable size and composition and to be superior in every way; something that would not happen by standing around and hearing the babbling of a thirteen year old girl.
She only hoped this was slightly better.
"The job is in the most simplest of terms, to delete me.” Nu raised a brow for the first time shocked, “ Though I need you to make sure to permanently delete a certain part. It should be easy to recognize, in comparison to my data, but I don't know of any way to be sure that it will be gone with out my own deletion happening as well so that you can hopefully get at the core of the problem.”
“I don’t quite understand...” Rosetta’s voice was dampened with a gentle sadness hearing the NetNavi. She honestly did not understand at all, but the expression on Nu’s face was nothing short of a twisted smile that Rosetta was unable to see because of how on her P.C. the bug faced the NetNavi. She was absolutely showing her teeth and shoulders. Her carnal desire was hard to mask as she turned a shoulder like he did in order to slightly hide the expression while he gazed upward to the sky.
"This will not be as simple as me standing here and letting you do this though.” The NetNavi went on to explain, further bewildering scared little Rosetta “That viral core of data I need removed has a mind of its own, and WILL take over to defend its self, or me rather, as its host. I cannot guaranty your safety or survival if you are weak. So if you have any doubts, leave now. I will find someone else. If you believe you can help me...you will get compensation from the bounty on my head, and something additional from me when I am restored."
“But that’s...” the pacifist more hesitant than ever while the war beast secretly schemed.
Money from bounty? Victory of battle? Rosetta cared not for those things! She had tried to convince herself many times over that there was something that could be done for the NetNavi. Most of this stuff, she had not heard of and she was a gifted child taken very elaborate courses in school on networking and programs. The young girl was not able to comprehend Nu and now this program and it’s strange “core.” As she waited for the NetNavi to turn its attention to her, she decided she would decline and recede her offer to help.
Violence just never solved anything in her opinion.
The NetNavi started to turn, most likely to address Nu who had turned back to them after regaining her composure.
"Any ques-"
*SWISH!!!*
“A-ah! W-what in the-?!” Rosetta gasped horrified at what just occurred.
Just as the NetNavi turned to face Nu, the pink bug had already given an answer that was pre-emptive and some would call a cheap shot. Her chest was slightly twisted and bulged outward from where her torso would be and revealed a pull of opaque pink gel. From that blobby mess was an extension of a long arm that lashed out with sharpened nails like the claw of a beast that intended to run itself right through the center of Rik’s chest in order to apparently snatch out whatever this “core-thing” was. Her curiosity aroused, her mind corrupt with a greed for whatever this strange program was that she could assimilate like any other virus. A program that could kick-in and activate a self-defense tactic that would ensure her survival?
What a nice treat for the taking, and her prey came right to her!
“Nu-chan!” the girl cried out, “Cease and desist! Abandon the mission!”
Rosetta’s requests were formal, as if she could control the program. Nu was not a NetNavi nor someone’s pet! She was a simple bug with a taste for eating anything that was unexplainable, necessary, or just plain rare that would arouse her curiosity for rare programs. A flick of her extra wrist in order to further attempt to rip the NetNavi into two pieces and decay his data with her degenerative flesh had shown a clear answer to the young girl; a refusal to obey her orders regardless of what she would think.
This opportunity was just too good to pass up! _______________________________ “But I hope I die from it!” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Here We Go Again!” by ParamoreIC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----

Rikaru had not even finished his last sentence and the Navi, well if that was what she was anyway, had attacked. He couldn't say he was surprised, but regardless he didn't plan to let the being succeed at striking him before the virus had taken over to ensure the best chance of success. Instead when the blob girls appendage lashed out and pierced his body, the area the claws struck passed right though, meeting no resistance, though sand seemed to pour from the 'wound'. Though Rikaru showed no sign of pain yet.
"I take that as a yes then. Good luck..." he said as she continued to thrash the claws about inside him to damage him, though nothing but more sand resulted. Once the clawed appendage was no longer invading his person, sand seemed to fill the gaps and solidify into his normal body once more.
He then closed his eyes and called upon the very presence inside him he had spent so long trying to repress. It flared forth more then willing to come forth and reign terror once more. Though Rikaru had every intention to fight and bulk the virus as best he could once the transformation he expected took place.
His body glowed with an odd light, a ghostly image of the life virus appearing behind Rikaru as the glow intensified, soon erasing the image from sight, as well as obscuring Rikaru's body from being seen as the metamorphosis took place. His lower body would be changed little, but his torso and head would see drastic modifications. The sound of gravel crunching underfoot could be heard, as the changes were made hidden away by the strange light. But those would soon be visible as the glow began dieing away.
Rikaru's head was completely encased in a sort of helmet, that resembled the Life Viruses head almost to the smallest of detail. His chest appeared armored now, a solid green chest plate with a yellow orb in the center, and on each shoulder, though the shoulder orbs also sprouted two upturned spikes on either side. Piercing red eyes illuminated along the slit across the front of the pseudo-helm, squinting as he crouched slightly in preparation to retaliate against this would be attacker.
"You will be the first of many girl!" he yelled before leaping into motion. The voice was distorted sounding, almost hollow like in comparison to before, obvious something had changed. As he had leapt forward to close the gap between them, in his left palm a orb of pink energy flared to life, and with a wide sweep of his arm, a long thin blade of pure energy sprouted from this orb, that would slice across Nu's abdomen if she allowed it to do so. The battle had begun, in the back of his own mind, Rikaru just hoped that this girl would be strong enough to accomish this task...

[bgcolor=570041] “If we cannot talk our way through this.” _______________________________ "I take that as a yes then. Good luck..." The NetNavi responded...still?
Nu had looked on even as her hand had been sticking through the NetNavi. It was such a surprise that even young Rosetta said nothing at all in sheer shock. The bug expected an off guard NetNavi that was making a big deal out of a program that probably was not so “potent” to meet such resistance as she imagined. However, the very moment Nu could hear a response, she obviously knew that this would be more interesting than she could imagine.
Nu’s extra arm had retracted and reformed into her body as a whole torso, similar to how the NetNavi’s own person had begun to regenerate. The bug watched on, along with Rosetta, whom had simply lost track of the action. First she was screaming out of disagreement to delete this NetNavi, and now she was gazing on to see the result of Nu’s action. The body of the NetNavi closing with grains of what seemed like sand, Rosetta tilted her head; her interest piqued and her side that made her a “scientist” aroused to its full curiosity.
“Sand...” she whispered lower to herself.
"I KNOW this is not the beach." Rosetta was silent during her observation, but that did not last long. The NetNavi had begun to go through a transformation all of the sudden. Nu had looked on from her position, eyes gazing on to the program that was no longer normal. The eyes became an ominous tint on a strange fixture on its head. The body had become slightly altered and more dreaded looking. The form was nothing short of something grotesque and monstrous, something even Nu was a bit jealous of in all honesty seeing she had to assume some “friendly” form in order to throw suspicion. By the time the program was done going through the change Nu was at a loss of words... "You will be the first of many girl!"Nu smiled, because she was too excited beyond words! This NetNavi seemed like it was more than something beyond a normal NetNavi, and it kept Nu’s interest. She just imagined absorbing it, taking in its body, and disassembling it to its simplest degree! Through that, Nu knew she would gain some valuable intelligence on exactly what this program was, and considering its benign form, it was like a promising vision; whether the little “Net Operator” liked it or not. “Nu-chan!” Rosetta called out, “Look out!”The warning was more than unnecessary. Nu was not blind to the attacking NetNavi had dove forth in an attempt to strike the bug. Nu was not quick or agile at all, so she stood her ground as her right hand whipped out from where the blade swiped. As the bug swung her arm, a long a slender glowing pink blade emerged from her palm until she clinched what would seem like a handle a parried the blade with her own. The target was strong... The enemy was so strong, Nu could barely hold her ground as she was pushed back along the terrain. Her body was compressed and heavy, so that was saying a lot to the blob girl as she stomped until the terrain broke under her, gave her leverage. Her back had begun to bubble as if it was coming to a boil while Nu tried to keep her blade locked in a stalemate with her target. The next moment was a surprise as like an explosion from her back, a second upper body emerged with limbs and head much like Nu’s own and eyes blank with a sickening grin. The body stretched over head as it twisted its finger to the same sharp digits as before and lunged its weight down upon the morphed NetNavi intending to crash into it pin it down with its weight and decaying body make-up. Rosetta, taking witness of the battle, was not sure to be horrified, or interested in what this “NetNavi” she had been carrying around. It seemed it was revealing its true self.[/blockquote] _______________________________ “Then we chew ‘em out!” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Optimist” by JinnIC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----

The altered form of Rikaru was indeed powerful, but it was unable to truly go all out. The two presences in his mind were in a mental battle as much as the Physical battle of him and Nu was, neither one showing signs of winning though. If Rikaru had his way though, he didn't NEED to win...just disrupt the virus and let the strange girl win the physical battle.
The virus on the other hand was surprised that the girl had parried his blade woth her own, albeit not easily, but she was able to match his strength, something he wasn't used too. He strained his arm against hers, but neither side seemed to gain an advantage. Nu though planned to make her own advantage it seemed though, and soon had formed some sort of second body above her, seeming to come from her original body. It was the weirdest thing he had ever seen, and almost remained motionless and let the attack strike.
Almost. Much like the original life virus, a powerful aura emanated around his body, though the faint pink energy was hardly noticeable until the sharp claw like fingers and the upper body crashed into it. It then flared to life with a brightness that made it hard to see through, though not for long. The sheer force and weight of the attack had already cracked the Aura, and the cracks could be seen spreading...he would have to move or be crushed. And move he did.
The pink orb of energy he had been making a blade with winked of existence and he immediately jumped backwards, as almost simultaneously the energy barrier shattered, letting Nu's attack through. Though it would meet empty air and then the ground, as he had narrowly escaped a painful blow. The virus held out a hand, palm facing Nu and stood there briefly. Pink energy danced across his hand, but nothing else seemed to be happening. "QUIT THAT! STOP INTERFERING!!" he bellowed. It was obvious he was not speaking to Nu, but from her prospective, it was only the two of them as well.
Abandoning that attack, instead he opted to form a spear in hand, resorting to a more manual method of attack. It looked much like a normal spear, but its head was split into three blade like points, similar to a trident in design, but the entire of each point was razor sharp, able to be used like a claw as well. And it was like a claw that he used it as at first. Dashing forward towards the fellow monstrosity, swinging the spear in a high over handed swing, almost using it like an axe, trying to rend through her strange goo like flesh.

[bgcolor=570041] “If we cannot talk our way through this.” _______________________________ “What should I do?”
Two monsters and young Rosetta did not know which one she wanted to win. Even though she had been housing Nu, she had never seen this side of the peculiar program, nor had she ever heard of such a NetNavi going through a transgression. Regardless of what unraveled before her, her mind was trapped in a push and pull of the usual: facts, statistics, and chance; she could never leave out chance! What was the chance that either of these monsters would hurt someone else? The chance that she could get through to either of them when this was all over? The chance that she would make a mistake?
Her thoughts kept flowing and so did the tide of battle…
Nu’s attack had been a horror scene in front of little Rosetta’s eyes and the repelling barrier a fascination that sent her curiosity racing. Based on simple observation but very detailed memory, Rosetta could remember seeing Nu consume data that was fed to her, including viral data as she assumed that the program was some sort of “cleaner” or perhaps secure program that rid the net of virus data.
“He’s like some sort of Scuttle virus,” Rosetta inferred as she put her intricate studies to theory in a split second, “So, will Nu try to absorb him as well?”
The thought of it all pained her, even as the battle dragged on and the transformed NetNavi attempted to attack in some way, but his assault was slow; more so than what was expected of something so powerful initially.
”QUIT THAT! STOP INTERFERING!”
“Interfering…?”
Rosetta’s mind had sparked like a match meeting friction. The NetNavi’s words earlier and this battle were starting to make sense to her. If what he was saying was true, then he truly wanted to be deleted, but this being seemed to want to prevent that from happening. Before one will would lose to the other, Rosetta clearly would have to agree with Nu’s will, no matter how twisted or what motive she had. Whatever the case, she would have to relieve the NetNavi the pain of dealing with that strange “core” and maybe the “cleaner” program, or whatever Nu was, would be perfect for the situation.
“N-Nu…” her voice weak at first as she was hesitant to carry out her plan, “Nu-chan! Find a way to attack using water.” she cried decisively.
The young girl’s suggestion heard, but Nu’s ego wanted to not entertain the notion. However, as Nu could recall the image earlier of the NetNavi’s sand-like body meeting the resistance of her first attack, the idea was not a bad one. As the mutated NetNavi had gone on the offensive, Nu had stood her ground as she braced for the attack. She had not the speed to dodge the oncoming attack and make the counter, so she would have to depend on the next best thing: that being the NetNavi’s attack would be its downfall.
The trident-like spear had hit it’s mark as Nu was cleaved into two. Her upper body had become seperaed from her mid-section by torso as Rosetta looked on in a horrified manner.
“Nu-chan!”
The expression on Nu’s face was that of dread with her teeth showing, but soon changed with a simple stretch of her cheeks upward from the severed upper body. The torso that seemed to teeter one moment had straightened itself the next as it stood still. From the top of the mid-section bubbled the pink slime-like texture until it beame a large sealed maw of jagged square-like teeth. This maw had opened as its round form revealed a glowing blue light from the inside and a roar ripped the air that sounded like a screeching metal. The terrain under the feet of the mutated Rik had started to become unstable and rumbled.
*BOOM!*
With that, a geyser of Water Tower had erupted from the terrain as it aimed to drench Rik where he was positioned, prior to his attack.
“She…regenerated her body into two halves?” An explanatory question that was observed by young Rosetta.
Just as she said, Nu’s lower body begun to form her upper body over the mutated torso while the airborne upper body that was surely a clone had begun to generate its lower body, and with it, a saddened and miserable face of a Billy virus had shown on her stomach. The arms of the clone had turned into two sharpened poles with the ends sparking with electricity. The prongs were aimed directly towards Rik as the clone had begun to descend upon him, aiming to follow up the attack of its original as it intended to use the moist area to deliver a devastating impact. _______________________________ “Then we chew ‘em out!” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Optimist” by JinnIC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----

If not for the strange helm like covering, one would see the twisted smirk on Rik's face as the attack succeeded in cleaving its target into two. Or so it appeared at first. Nu though had tricks up her gelatinous sleeve that neither Rik or the virus had seen before, and while she was in effect two separate parts now, she managed to counter attack with what seemed like that of a volgear.
Shocked still by the navi being able to strike back even in that state, he was left to take the attack that erupted from under his feet, completely drenching his body and the area around him. Already the water began to show signs of freezing, and the mist that remained in the air from the attack immediately froze to ice and was blown away in the wind.
He was stunned by the attack, and being naturally vulnerable to water, it left him staggering for a moment, which was all the clone had needed to prepare its follow up attack. The monsters head raised though and caught sight of the double and quickly raised his weapon point first towards it. This though wouldn't prevent the electrified arms to make contact though, and send a less then pleasant shock through him. But it would end up run through in the process of the maneuver. He hadn't even realized that the enemy he had just cut in two was now two separate entities, and both seemingly whole!
The combined damage of the two attacks had weakened the monster, and it made no move to attack yet, likely recovering from the effective combination. Was it an opening for a finishing blow? Or was it preparations for something worse?

[bgcolor=570041] “If we cannot talk our way through this.” _______________________________ As the mist begun to break, the supple silhouette familiar to look like Nu became two.
Side by side, they stood, both with that same malicious smirk upon their face. They had simply gazed upon the mutated virus that had staggered back and seemed immobile. Just like a predator saving the moment, they had gazed at its seemingly helpless state, prolonging the moment as the main body that contained Nu’s true nucleus walked forth and the other followed. They were now, in their own way, closing in on their target as they drawn closer.
“She’s going to do it.” Rosetta breathed.
There was such tension! Rosetta had never seen Nu personally absorb another NetNavi. Unlike a virus that attacked data that was in their path, Rosetta was indifferent about seeing another NetNavi being absorbed. The way the pink blob girl approached was similar to her imagination of how a vampire approached its prey before suckling out all the blood from their body. Nu was just like that kind of predator, and it seemed the young woman was about to learn it so. She was unsure if she wanted to watch and learn the truth or close her eyes, turn away, and pretend like this was not happening.
However, she never deluded herself...not like this.
Nu, regardless of Rosetta’s feelings had approached. The clone behind her stopped in its tracks as it raised its fleshy hands that soon became that pink opaque goo that was her true materialized form. The main body kept walking approaching the virus while the clone thrust its arms down letting the slime-like material that was her body splash into the ground and be absorbed into the cybernetic terrain. Almost on cue as the true Nu drawn close within yards, the goo-like substance had seeped from the terrain from under the feet of the mutated Rik and lashed upward in tentacle-like strands that aimed to wrap themselves around his limbs to restrict movements.
“I never wanted to see that attack used like that,” Rosetta thought as she watched Nu’s terror pit being used to do something other than restrain some viruses. Knowing her, Rosetta knew what was to come next. “She’s about to drain him!”
With one attack coming from below, Nu had done the pleasure of personally reaching back her shifting arm as it become a large wad of goop. With a thrust forth, a torrential rush of the substance intended to imbed itself into Rik’s chest as Nu aimed to pull him apart piece by piece until his body had become a part of her own. _______________________________ “Then we chew ‘em out!” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Optimist” by JinnIC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----

Opera's previously undefined location turned out to be tracking Nu. This was actually decided well beforehand, but Opera knew better than to interfere with an entity of the power level she believed Nu to be. Plus, she thought the penguin was adorable. However, she could not afford to stay idle any longer. Opera analyzed the available data just as Rosetta did, but had both far more available data and far more processing power to work with. She recognized the aura as more than just that of a garden-variety Scuttle virus, but that of their progenitor, the Life Virus. She could not allow two Sub-Titan level entities to effectively fuse. Nu was far more powerful than Opera, but Opera never let things like 'facts' or 'self-preservation' get in the way of what must be done. She knew that she would be little more than a distraction, but she had something Rikaru did not: the ability to self-terminate should things get out of hand. Nu, if she was paying any attention to her hearing while preparing her meal, would hear a cry as a desperate, likely pointless attack headed her way...
Opera: Opera Buster!
(OOC: Sub-Titan was just an in-universe term for Boss, because Titan is already a term that's been used in-story. I know full well that Opera isn't powerful enough to affect the outcome, and so does she, but that's not going to stop her from trying.)

As Nu and her clone crept forward and prepared to not only ensnare the virus, but also attempt to finish what he had requested of the strange navi, two small trails of sand could be seen falling from Rikaru's hands, spilling onto the frozen ground. What its use was, was unknown, and he wasn't even sure if she noticed it happening.
The tendrils that shot up and wrapped them selves around his limbs met no resistance, almost as if he had been expecting that, and was not bothered by the restraints. Surely though that idea would be changed when Nu sent her next attack onwards, aiming to strike him with a torrent of her own body like substance. Though even as she sent that forth, he made no efforts to escape the bonds. Rather, a fierce wind picked up, the sand being picked up and forming what seemed to be a sort of half dome between himself and Nu, which took the impact of her attack before dissolving back to simple sand swirling around his body.
"You will have to do better then that!" it called forth, jerking against the bonds enough to cock his arm at the elbow, and fire a thick pink beam of energy about the size of Nu's head at her chest. It wasn't nearly as powerful as the virus could create, but it wasn't exactly and ideal situation it was in either, fighting on two fronts essentially. He was distracted enough he didn't even hear Opera call out her attack as she fired as well at the gelatinous navi. Instead his focus was on the sand swirling about him, causing it to whirl fiercer and fiercer, completely enveloping him as the sand and wind tore at the tendrils latched onto him, in am attempt to tear them loose. [bgcolor=570041] “If we cannot talk our way through this.” _______________________________ Nu, stop!
She had not stopped, but she was stopped. Nu’s gelatinous body had met some resistance as it collided with the sand. Her expression of both herself and her clone changed as it saw the whirling sands that had swept around the mutated Rik. A brow lifting as if skeptical about what had just happened as Nu clearly had done the unthinkable in such a heated battle: she miscalculated; something she did not like to admit to considering the circumstances of her prey.
Then again, knowing her prey was just so boring and lowered the value of her target.
"You will have to do better then that!"
And that she would! Nu hearing the mutated NetNavi had already been formulating another plot, and her smile crept across her face once more just seeing the virus-like NetNavi struggle to move. He seemed to meet little resistance, most likely because her clone-self using the technique was weaker than the main body itself. The moment his arm lifted and Nu could react with her body, she had felt a pressure of a blast hit her chest as she had certainly felt some damage that blasted away her chest area. There was nothing left there but a cylindrical opening and dripping bits of goop that tried to regenerate the missing region, but the damage was more than usual.
“Nu can’t regenerate that quickly when it’s a lot of damage,” Rosetta noted, “She’s having some trouble now.”
Rosetta knew the blob more than anyone, or at least to some extent. She knew Nu’s body regenerated more quickly everyday with more programs she would absorb and the larger she grew in size. It was one of her vital weaknesses that Rosetta had thought about since she knew well that Nu had a core as well that she tried to keep intact. Just remembering the memory of a barrage of HeatShot coming from a pack of Spikey viruses was enough to make her change her expression when she was being overwhelmed by such “lesser” viral programs.
*SWISH!!!*
A surprise attack?
Not likely a surprise. The attack flew right past the clone that was like a second pair of eyes, and instantly, Nu had looked over her shoulder as she expanded the opened cavity within her chest until the round passed right through her to make a miss. Her eyes that went to the mutated Rik had closed for a moment, and the next second, a her arms had reformed as she reached to the back of her head and brushed the hair-like formations from behind her head until she revealed a face with a pair of eyes opening from the opposing side of her body.
Creepy...and yet, convenient!
Nu’s sick express shown itself again realizing just who it was that made a pitiful cheap shot. The NetNavi from before that she was tempted to devour because of his large mouth, which was most likely born with the foot in it, and his bizarre knowledge. At first, the blob girl was tempted to eat him because of his annoyance, but now, it was a demand since she was more interested in her prey that she wanted to give her attention to.
Without any further thought, Nu’s clone turned its attention to Opera, it’s eyes going to the miniscule NetNavi that popped in on their fun. As it stood before Opera, it put its right hand on its hip and shown a devilish smile; a fair warning that it had gotten Nu’s attention...or at least part of it, and that was not a good thing. The clone had begun to step forward as it eased towards Opera’s position while the original let its attention go back to Rik with its hair falling and its “ordinary” pair of eyes opening.
Nu’s torso closed and her expression shifted to a slant as she seemed to have on a “thinking face” because of the interference and this powerful foe. Nu thought of the other NetNavi as a minor crumb to the plate that was the mutated viral NetNavi that had caused her some damage. With her right clone’s attention shifted, the tendrils from the terrain had begun to melt into a liquid as thin as water and splashed against the ground.
As Nu’s chest area became fleshy once more, there was a running system of excess flesh and veins that appeared in the same area. The flesh reeled back until it revealed a pool of white with a single large black dot in its center that gazed at Rik from the close range. The large eye had begun to glow a very bright green until there was a blast from Nu’s chest that mimicked that of a Killer Eye virus’s plasma blast. _______________________________ “Then we chew ‘em out!” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Optimist” by JinnIC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----

(OOC: You're using male pronouns to refer to my female character. Just to let you know.)
Opera sees the clone approach her, and isn't really fazed at all. Opera readies an extra burst of force and obliterates the clone almost instantly. She was determined to end this fight without Alpha assimilating Life Virus, which is her working theory for what will happen without her interference. She fires some more shots from her Opera Buster at Nu proper, since that seemed to work last time.
(OOC: for those who are calling BS, I checked the numbers. Nu's clone skill has 600 HP and no avoidance. The 'extra burst' was Data Sword, with which Opera can deal over 600 damage in one attack. That clone is dead, no questions asked.)

Edited in OOC: You forget stats =\= RP power. Nu is a v10 and would be able to Instantly delete you, which stats wise is well over 2000 hp iirc. While her strongest attack doesnt even break 300. Sorry to say you shouldn't just assume the clone is obliterated. Even instant deletes with the exception of staff controlled NPCs requored the owner to post the death. I will say clones are included in this.
The viral form of Rik chuckled as he saw his beam pierce Nu, knowing that he had to have done a decent amount of damage with that, though if his last success was any indication, she wasn't down and out yet by a long shot.
As the clone shifted its attention to Opera, and the tendrils began to dissolve, the whirling twister scattered the liquid in a splatter around him as he regained movement, though he wasn't able to see Nu's next attack as she prepared it until the twister began to die down, its purpose fulfilled. At that point though it was too late to do much but brace himself for the strike.
Raising, and crossing his arms infront of him, he let the beam pierce through him, the plasma burning him as it traveled into and through him, though leaving no visible entrance or exit wound other then a blackened scorch mark on his chest and back after the beam cut off.
He lowered his arms now, though his right was still half raised as he clenched his hand into a fist, then released it. He repeated this motion a few times as his red glowing orbs representing eyes narrowed as he gazed at Nu. This SHOULD have been an easy fight. But having his host do all in his power to limit his powers was becoming more and more of a nuisance. He was at a point where he couldn't focus on dealing with that problem though and leave this navi to tear into him...so he was stuck dealing with it.
He finally turned his head to view the navi that had decided to interrupt the two's fight. He didn't recognize the navi, and it didn't seem overly threatening, and one of the two blob girls had already diverted their attention to this navi, so he let it go at that. No point wasting his energy on something that should be handled already. Instead he crouched to the ground and and planted his hands to the floor, his hands glowing once more.
"Two can play the virus attacking game!" the hollowed voice said. Soon three holes opened up between them, one to either side and one directly infront of him. From each of these holes crawled forth a scuttle virus, each a different color and element. To his left was a bright yellow one, the gem on its head crackled with electricity as it fired a large orb of electric energy at Nu. To his right rose a crimson red scuttle, and from its mouth it breathed a small stream of flames towards her as well. Finally the one infront of Rik was a icy blue color, and with a shimmer of its gem, a solid block of ice formed and was shot forward at Nu.
While the summoned viruses lashed out at Nu, Rikaru merely returned to standing, and watched as the virii did his bidding. He wanted to see how she would deal with them.. if she would focus on destroying his help, or ignore them and target him again.
