[bgcolor=000055] “Watch me stand my ground; Watch me budge not a foot!” _______________________________ “Lass, you and y'group should've thought before y'acted.”
That NetNavi’s words rung in Megami’s head as she stared at the beast that emerged from the open waters. Victims were apparent and a fight was sure to ensue with the monstrosity confronting them. However, even in the spur of the moment, the angelic NetNavi had seemed to sit perfectly still amongst the group and had the demeanor of a majestic statue. The only thing that coursed through her was data that processed thoughts that made her come up with a plan.
“Megami!” Xenneth’s shrill voice cried out, “We should help!”
Megami’s eyes shifted slightly as if she was loathing. “I agree, but...” she had seemed hesitant to act as she looked at remains of the spurts of ink that was on the beach caused by the small creature. It was a symbol of her lesson she could learn from as it only taken her a second to reflect and then another to act. “I think we should approach it differently Xenneth.”
“Oh!” the violet haired boy seemed stunned hearing Megami, as if she had some sort of plan. “Then...b-by all means.”
Even as she stood in her one piece swimming suit, the female NetNavi had seemed to act quickly as the graceful fighter she was known to be. Her feet dug into the stand before she kicked off and went flying forward a blast of the grains of sand erupting in her wake. She had quickly flanked the creature, being at its left, back to the swimming civilians and eyes set upon the creature. The NetNavi attacking with his array of shots had seemed to recklessly engage the creature, but then again, he could be a good distraction.
“The safety of the civilians should come first!” Megami had called out to the NetNavis as if she was giving an order, “Please, make sure we can keep its attention focused on us!”
Megami was not a good leader, but her heart was in the right place when it came to considering the situation. She did not want to see victims, and her eyes glancing from the field to the creature had given her so many ideas when it came to playing things by instinct. Her right hand stretched out as she materialized her staff and Xenneth’s hands were already on the move as the young boy had made haste loading Battle Chips.
“Reloading finished, so I can send a Battlechip when ready!”
He was efficient when needed be, and that’s why she felt they were such a good team.
Megami did not think too much on that now, but rather used her own natural ability of “Aura” in order to combat the creature. With her staff in her right hand and her left hand held out, she had conjured a non-lethal sphere of aura that would surely cause some blunt trauma. There sphere blasted forth from her hand like a cannonball fired as it spun quickly aiming to drill into the creature to cause some damage.
A distraction was the strategy, at least until she could use her best judgment of no casualties of being involved. ______________________________ “All while you stand behind me as I turn this page.” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ” Hyakumankai Sukida to Itte” by JinnIC Attire: Megami:: Poseidon’s SecretChatty Ditz: Not the best post, but I have to go to work in a few. [glow=white,2,500]*Embera's eyes lit up at Megami's orders. She was right. Civilians shouldn't be involved in this conflict. Moving to a group of toddlers running from the monster, Embera took them in her arms. She began running until she got to a safe distance. She soon placed small patches on each child there, with a deliciously wide grin on her face. Embracing them again, she began running towards the shark again.
Embera: The civilians are safe, these: The Embera Artillery Unit, will take care of him! Empress-one, toddler-four, GO GO GO!
*Immediately after her announcement, she began hurling the children as hard as she could at the crazed beast. As child after child was launched, Embera's arms became tired. She still had enough energy to form a cage of flames around the young ones, penning them in while she caught her breath.*
Embera: Don't worry! It was a field trip today! I've got at least fifteen more children! If they can't damage the thing, their losses will cloud its focus in a feeding frenzy! We can do it![/glow]

With a quick nod towards the virus, Jinko launched himself at the sharkman thing. Gutts was quick to do the same.
Jin: Listen buddy, just who...
Gutts: ...the Hell...
Both: DO YOU THINK WE ARE?!!!!!!!
As they attacked the shark monster's weak points, any children that got in their way were merely lambs for the slaughter. They were of no concern to the swordsman and his partner. The only thing the two were concerned with was beating this thing to the ground.

The blood that stained the gold beneath her burning feet, the civilian's faces stained with fear, eyes stained with pain and pure cries stained with desperation. Her ears couldn't hear, her eyes couldn't see and her whole being couldn't feel until a cry of her own mixed with theirs.
Like a supreme supernova, something erupted and exploded within Phoebe to cause a change. Deep amethyst eyes turned into liquid gold, pure white snow hair gained the touch from heaven above, and such a brilliant light to rival the sun shone about her. Her dress transformed to a knee-length white dress, a string of pearls beneath the bust to connect to the small bow in the back. Those brilliant wings lined with gold were perhaps more majestic than before, if possible. A pair of ballet shoes encased her delicate feet and the soft ribbon wrapping themselves around her ankles to give some support.
Once the transformation was complete, the gold platform - but of a far more intricate design - appeared beneath her feet and hovering above the ground, began to pray as if her life depended on it. As she did so, the light gathered from everywhere is a swirl of sorts, a magnetic pull of all light to the edge of the summon. The flaring light overflowing, the Maiden's form angelic and the exquisite state radiant - the attack was complete.
Her wings flexed, arms outstretched on either side and in one burst the light was released from the summoning circle. A whirlwind of light bursted forth from the circle, striking everyone. Civilians and her friends, immediately healed from any injuries that they might have incurred. The enemy however had the opposite effect and inflicted mighty damage to him. True, it was not much, but it healed everyone - civilians and her friends alike - and if it could turn his attention to the Maiden instead of the innocent lives at stake (yes, even the toddles Embera threw were healed of their fatal blows and defenseless children who perhaps got hit by Jinko), then this would not have been in vain. Mingled with the power of healing was the added bonus of strengthening her friend's attacks by increasing the damage. Sure it was not much and the boost would not last long, but it was something. A power to both cure the innocent and inflict damage on the enemy; a powerful thing indeed. Phoebe had no idea she had it within herself, but her concern was upon the civilians and not upon herself. She just continued to pray within that they would be kept safe...

When the self-proclaimed solar empress emerged from the sand (after reforming under it for... some reason, I guess) and launched a frightened blast at the creature's loins, it must have seemed like a good idea to her frazzled and sun-fried brain.
Breaking news: It wasn't.
Firstly, it was ridiculously counterproductive because the burning force of the attack severely damaged the bathing suit, burning it almost completely off and leaving barely enough fabric to contain the very things she'd been trying to get away from.
Secondly, it made the thing angrier. If it had felt pain from the attack it was not obvious - though the areas hit had been lightly darkened with a sort of char. But the thing snarled in annoyance, and its angry red eyes locked on to Embera as she ran back up the beach - up to Rielis, just in time to direct the monster's attention to his impending attack. He ducked beneath the high-aimed shots effortlessly.
As he did so, a briny fluid of sorts seemed to seep up from between the microscopic spaces between the burnt scales on his thighs. As it flowed over the charred areas, they were healed almost instantly and restored to their original coloration.
Without wasting time, the colossal brute whipped his tail around so that the end was aimed at Rielis. Where the fin split in two, there was a sort of nozzle - like something from a water gun, but shaped into his flesh. From this nozzle came a torrent of icy-cold water. Ultra-condensed at first by the narrow size of the nozzle, it fanned out into a wide "beam" of chilling liquid pumping out at several dozen gallons per second, cutting a deep trough in the beach as it carried away large volumes of sand along with its victim.
The ocean-dweller had not noticed the other navi flanking him, and so the energy blast that hit his side was a surprise - but not a particularly effective one. The aura slammed into his scales and dissipated harmlessly with no visible effect. The monster idly swung his heavy tail around in rapid arc to where the blast had come from, but did not seem particularly concerned with its success or failure - his attention was back on Embera.
She had taken to throwing a bunch of small children (who had conveniently appeared just now from seemingly nowhere, natch) as a means of offense. As the screaming youngsters were hurled at him, he knocked each one aside with his mighty arms. Some of the smaller ones were instantly deleted upon impact.
In the midst of this, two nearly-identical fighters charged at the monster with their blades. Apparently they had decided to go for its weak points without having any idea what they were. This brilliant idea came to a predictable conclusion when the monster reached down as they approached and easily crushed their heads like eggshells in its mighty palms. The corpses, already beginning to break up into code, were flung over his shoulders and into the ocean, where one of them hit a navi that had just about reached shore from the shipwreck and knocked him out. The three pieces of dead wait were washed out with the tide.
JINKO.EXE DELETED GUTTS DELETED NICEMANWHOHADSOMUCHTOLIVEFOR.EXE DELETED
When the angelic navi made her transformation and unleashed her burst of light, it was pretty bright and stuff, so that annoyed the beast too. He kinda squinted his eyes a little so he could see better and stuff. The healing wave restored some verve to those allies still in the fight, but it was far too late for those already departed. As for its offensive capabilities, they - like the aura from the flanker - were worthless against his armored scales and rock-solid body. Still though, the light had been annoying. Somewhere in the tiny part of its virtual brain reserved for memory and logic, the creature made a note to make her its next target.
First though, it made a charge towards Embera and the schoolchildren. Its arms were outstretched eagerly and menacingly as its huge feet kicked up clouds of sand and propelled him forward, the huge length of each of his steps allowing him to move incredibly fast for such a large individual.

[glow=white,2,500]*Embera was agitated as her fire did nothing but scar everyone seeing the aquatic lifeform. Not missing a beat, she slammed her fists into the ground, causing a jettison of flames to work and absorb as much water as possible. The flames bent and wrapped the water, until only a fraction of what hit got through to Rielis.*
Embera: I don't particularly like this guy, now...Air squad! Your sacrifice won't be in vain!
*Embera soon formed a thick chain in her hands linked to the fire cage and began twirling it like the hammer throw. Winding and winding, Embera thrusted the metal ball of crying and wailing children and infants around into the approaching navi's head, with the cage exploding on contact. If that didn't work, Embera supposed she'd have to rely on her own power. Breathing calmly, she focused her abilities, and prepared for the next strikes.*

Rielis was not sure what to think, Embera was using children as ammunition, and to little effect. The beast had pulled a move straight out of the matrix and dodged bullets, and even crushed that poor fool Jinko's head and tossed him to the sea as he attempted to cut at...well...something. And the other girl navi seemed to cause no damage from her attack she tossed at the massive creature.
Things were not going very well to say the least. Before he could adapt a new offensive stratagy, he found himself on the business end of a super powered super soaker. The jet of water while great, was reduced by Embera's flames, though still a stream powerful enough to knock him over and push him back got through. Phoebe's transformation and blast of energy went unnoticed to his eyes, but he certainly felt the healing energys wash over him and repair what damage he had taken from the attack.
Do I look like I am interested in playing in the sand?! he yelled, getting up from where the rush of water had left him. His armor was covered in wet sand and still leaked water from his boots. He was water logged, amd none to happy. Seeing the beast was charging at Embera, his mind went into action to try and determine a decent plan of action.
The only thing he could think of, was aim for the head. All the other attacks it seemed to let strike it, bt he evaded tbe shots. Sadly, his ranged weaponry was mostly exausted, having only one back up that took time to prepare for each shot. Time he wasnt sure he wanted to take. So he tried to improvise. He sloshed his way across the sand towards the path the beast was taking towards embera, not getting in the way exactly, but close enough his idea would work. A few feet to the side of the lumbering monsters path, as embera threw the cage of children, Rielis slammed his hand into the sand, a large area spanning mostly in front of him glowing, and suddenly forming slick metal plates as the new temporary terrain. He wasn't sure, but he hoped the sudden change of ground type would foul up the monsters movement, tripping it and allowing him a shot at its head. He formed his blade and gripped it in both hands and prepared to strike if he gkt the chance.

Merrill, who had finally snapped out of his head truama, jumpped to his feet, and headed forward. He stood in frot of Phoebe, spreading his wings out, his eyes regaining the 18 pointed star in the left and the diamond in the right. He waved his hands, getting the creature's attention.. Until Healer jumped in the creature's face, sending two fireballs at point blank range.
Merrill then whipped his hands in a cross, and suddenly, two white blades with gold handles swooped in so fast, there was no time for anyone to react, as the blades darted at the Creatures eyes. Merrill repeated the gesture, the blades stabbing, thrusting and attacking at the creatures eyes of their own will, as Merrill controlled them from a distance, protecting Phoebe.
His eyes glowed, with the fire of a determination he had yet seldom felt since his transformation. His body shook, energy sworling around him, frantically growing stronger.
"I SHALL MAKE YOU PAY FOR THE DEATH'S OF THOSE CHILDREN!!!"

“Watch me stand my ground; Watch me budge not a foot!” _______________________________ “That’s so underhanded!”
Xenneth officially did not like this fiery NetNavi. It seemed Embera she was building a history of just being a jerk whenever she was around. However, he could not lose his composure as the monster was in mid-attack. Megami’s attention, drawn to Embera’s ruthless actions, had been needed seeing the large mighty tail of the creature was swinging right towards her in its annoyance.
“Megami-chan! Look out!”
Megami had spun on her heel as her body was facing the creature’s massive incoming tail, but yet, she did not budge. She seemed to have a sure expression upon her face. After looking around the field, from the healing NetNavi engulfed in light, the thick skinned water dweller, and the mixture of NetNavis that stood in its way, she seemed to have concocted something in a spare second as she lifted her right arm as if she was going to intercept the attack.
It was either she was cocky, or crazy. Yet, Xenneth knew what it was...faith.
“What she ordered? Fish Fillet!”
In a spare second, a whirling chip engulfed in a blue aura had appeared between Megami and the large tail of the beast. The female NetNavi had thrust her palm forth pressing and crushing the data with a powerful blow all while striking the tail that hit her. It was without saying that its power was greater than her own, as Megami was sent flying through the air in the distance, but at the last second, she stopped and kicked flipped with a pull. The NetNavi’s feet was tossed downward as her acrobatics sent her plummeting to the ground with her touching down in the sand in a crouched position with a brooding look in her eyes.
“I got him!” she had thought.
In Megami’s right hand was a corsage topped with a trio arrangement of rose blossoms. At the bottom of her wrist and going through the female NetNavi’s open hand was a long vine that was thick and fitted into her palm. It connected a good twenty feet from where she stood to the body of the overgrown aquatic NetNavi’s tail. It was obvious that Megami risked a mortal wound in order to bind his tail, and it showed as her free left hand went to her side as if she was in pain.
She had to ignore it, overcome it...and it was only fortunate that the healing NetNavi had some potent healing ability that helped ease that pain.
Panting and puffing, the Goddess had given a jerk and a pull as her heels dug into the sand, trying to restrict the powerful NetNavi’s movements with its tail and throw off its balance to not hurt any allies. However, she knew this was probably not going to last long.
Teeth cringing, “Attack and be careful!” Megami had cried, seeming to try to give an opening with her binding tactic. If the field of NetNavi's chaotic attacks would be good for anything, it would be for taking advantage of the opportune moment. ______________________________ “All while you stand behind me as I turn this page.” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ” Hyakumankai Sukida to Itte” by JinnIC Attire: Megami:: Poseidon’s SecretChatty Ditz: -----

Screams, cries, whatever you would like to classify a symphony of howling groans and heartbreaking lament; that was what the scene was filled with before royal pools. Those pools forced themselves shut in such desperation for waterfalls not to be formed on that snow white face of hers, but alas the liquid still spilled through the shutters. Small arms clasped in pain, wrapped themselves around her thin waist to offer some form of protection and security from the battle at hand. Not one against the monstrosity, but against the lives already lost that she could not save. The platform of gold disappeared beneath her feet in a flash. The Maiden knew that time was not on her side to stay in her enlightened form, however that did not inhibit what she could do.
Mass attacks were performed and dealt towards the hideous monster, either trying to restrict what he could do or deal some fatal blow towards the creature. Phoebe was a witness to close calls and multiple injuries that the creature had inflicted upon the allies. Giving it her all, she once more grasped her petite hands together. With such light ablaze and beauty intense, innocent citizens and allies alike were restored almost three times more than the previous time.
Stars of untainted white splashed out from the protectors and people, instantly aiding them of whatever may have held them back before and if she could save just one life among all the chaos, it would not have amounted for naught.
*Please, please..I know I am not that strong but please..let this help someone*...

[bgcolor=FF7A14][As the ragtad group of navi's fought in vain against the giant Shark like navi, bubbles began to form on the surface from the now ironically calm waters. It was slow at first, Navi's were being deleted, and children flung to no avail while the waters became disturbed more and more. As the fight continued, no one seemed to notice the sunken ship slowly rising back to the surface. The waters poured of the boat as it slowly made it's way onto the beach, polluted with the data of the devoured navis. Finally the boat was fully beached, the ocean waters calming down after the ordeal. Slowly the boat began to rise up, the frame moaning as it struggled to hold itself together under it's own pressure. With the last remnants of the water in the boat gushing outward, another giant of a navi could be seen underneath it...possibly...lifting it!! And in fact it was! the unkown man from before had returned!! Though his figure was different from before. His armor was clearly on fire, and a strange red aura surrounded him, a look of intense rage and seriousness was present across his face in an almost comical manner.]
?: YOU STUPID SHARK!! YOU SCARED AWAY ALL MY FISH YOU STREET SHARK RIP OFF!!
[With his words said flames erupted around the navi as he launched the boat into the air towards the Shark Navi. As he lowers his arm he looks at Embra and laughs as he caught a randomly flung child and tossed it back at her...on fire.]

Using his already well-demonstrated ability to duck, the sea monster went right underneath the swinging cage of schoolchildren. At this moment, the ground beneath him turned to steel. His feet slipped out from underneath him, and because he was ducking, he fell forward and began to slide. An interesting change of pace, but not a real obstacle. The beast's tail swooped up into the air, firing a stream of water onto the ground directly in front of him. Now it was a massive Slip 'n' Slide, and the monster was careening down it at speeds far exceeding his running pace.
Some blades flew at him or something, but it didn't really matter. At the speed the monster was now going, they missed their targets, slamming into his backside and shattering into pieces against his armor-like scales. He hardly felt a thing. Meanwhile, another navi had made the incredibly unwise decision to attach themselves directly to the beast's tail. Once the path in front of him had been sufficiently wettened, the creature ceased spewing the stream of water and whipped its mighty tail forward, yanking his assailant off her feet, before slamming it back down on the victim with an astounding, crushing force. The would-be hero burst into bits of data.
MEGAMI.EXE DELETED
Another flash of healing light shone, too late to save the fool who'd gone fishing for monsters. The creature squinted to see through the glare - but it did not help him to see the ship he'd just sunk soaring through the air behind him. It landed right on top of the scaly strongman with a deafening CLANK against the metal ground...
...and then it rolled off to the side as the powerful predator lifted himself back up. The ship fell onto the nearby healer, crushing her and the one in front of her helplessly.

As if nothing had happened, the monster stood back up and resumed its charge at Embera, not even pausing to see what might have thrown the ship.

[glow=white,2,500]*Embera ignored the fisherman's taunt at her, letting the child vaporize before it reached her, as all humor was gone now. She stared solemnly at the charging water-tank making its way to her at an alarming rate. She clenched her fists and her solemn appearance soon turned to one of mild ferocity. Gritting her teeth, she managed to utter something before action took place.
Embera: I've tried to have fun. I wanted this to be more relaxed, but your attempts on my life are rather sincere...I've had enough!
*As Embera yelled, a white flash erupted out towards the creature, and anyone behind him, as collision happened.[/glow][glow=goldenrod,2,500]What occured in the flash wasn't quite obvious to those who couldn't see, but Embera had absorbed the impact with two lustrous and radiant wings, the force pushing her back, but leaving no real damage to her form. Unflexing her wings, she pushed back from the creature as the light faded. Taking advantage of both the blinding light and her new lithe form, Embera encased her fists in a dark blue flame that was enshrouded in almost an orange, icy case. She was mostly expressionless, save the definitive glare in her eyes that clearly marked her intentions. Encroaching on the hulking form in front of her, she drove an uppercut square behind the creatures jaw, with the exertion of a clear attempt to behead her target.*

A small red navi, in a green tempest uniform had been watching the event unfold from atop a tall building. She cared not for the small fry, but noted the familiar data signature of the one that was left. It was the one that had helped her before. It had to be. She couldn't risk this thing deleting the only other navi she cared about. As the winged navi launched an uppercut towards the beast's jaw, the girl made a small flip off of the top of the building. As she fell towards the creature, she generated a sword, containing all of her fire energies. Her aim was to stick the thing in it's head, and then release her fire energy through the sword into it's body. If that didn't work, at least she'd create an opening for the one already fighting it.
((OOC: had to put her somewhere.))

Rielis watched as his plan worked...and failed, all at the same time. Sure his stage setting succeeded on tripping up the beasts charge, but through some ingenuity, he used it to his advantage and was now barreling forth even faster.
Several other events happened in the short span of time before his eyes, but most of them went ignored by the metallic warrior. He was being ignored, again. Looked over and excluded from the beasts rampage of deletions. Was he not a threat? The thought sparked his temper, which he let flare at the most inopportune of times...
"You...stupid mass OF BLUBBER! DON'T IGNORE ME WHILE I TRY TO KILL YOU!!!" He shouted, almost reaching a scream. Truly his out burst would not likely result in anything good for him or the others, but then again, nothing thus far had worked. He would die sooner or later at this rate anyway.
His fist clenched the hilt of his blade, his knuckles turning white as he started his mad dash forward. He watched as Embera made a counter attack, hoping to match or best the beasts strength with her own. He didn't know if it was possible, but he figured the shark man should be distracted enough to try one more thing.
He couldn't see Serix as she made her own attack, and was probably for the best, as he likely would have been distracted by the brash maneuver. Instead he continued his dash, nearing the beast, each step resounding a loud banging sound as his boots stamped on the metal floor.
When he was almost about to collide with the monster from behind, he dropped to his knees and twisted his body back to his left, bringing his sword into both hands and preparing to thrust with all his might. He knew the beast was unbelievably strong, but he had not other method to try to disable the thing then this...
He had skidded forward closer, but he hoped his momentum would only help his goal. He thrust his sword forward with all the strength he could muster, point first, aimed directly for where the monsters Achilles tendon should be. He wasn't sure if he would be able to pierce the hide of the monster, but it was worth a shot at the least.
