The monster's charge was met with a flash of light and the confident fist of the living flame with a loud THUNK. Her strike hit its target spot-on, and the creature's head was sent recoiling backwards - and then sprung right back into position. His face was badly burnt until the fluid began to pour out from inside over the wounds, healing them rapidly. The thing scowled in annoyance - an expression that Embera had little chance to see. Now that his intended target had made herself so readily available, he wrapped his long and powerful tail around her torso and locked her in close. His tail was not long enough for a proper crushing coil... this was merely a way to keep her in range. He reached around with his right arm and grabbed her head as he raised his left arm. First he forced the solar empress' head into the undignified position of being right in his armpit - and then he slammed his arm down and clamped his underarm tight like a vice, cracking her cranium like a nut. Blood and data leaked out of the wound, running over the scaly, muscular forearm of the creature.
Before he could make his finishing blow, the tip of a sword came down onto his head. It made impact point-first, but failed to penetrate his scales. Instead, it slid off his head, leaving char marks on the scales from its firey energy. At once that strange liquid flowed from within the monster and healed his burns, ceasing as soon as his dome was back in prime condition. The monster barely reacted to the sudden attack. It was of little consequence - a minor annoyance. And he was still focused on his prize.
At least until the other sword hit. It slammed into his ankle and, predictably, bounced off with no apparent damage. But it did trigger a quick, semi-reflexive reaction: the monster kicked his foot backwards in an attempt to smash it into the attacker that had flanked him. This maneuver threw off his balance, and the monster collapsed forwards - onto Embera, pinning her to the ground. His substantial mass caused more damage to the rest of her body as it smashed her into the ground, but it wasn't enough to finish her off. The twist of his arm that ripped off her injured head, however, was. The solar empress paid the price for her impulsiveness and lack of awareness as she dissolved into bits of data that soared off into the sky, leaving the monster laying alone on the ground.
EMBERA.EXE DELETED
The beast pushed himself onto his knees and roared triumphantly at the heavens.

Rielis cursed under his breath as his sword glanced off, but he never even finished saying the word as he suddenly was struck by the monsters foot that had kicked back at him. HURGK! the force of the blow sent him tumbling backwards, finally coming to a rest several yards back, his breathing haggard.
Pain pulsed through his chest where the blow landed, the damage was lessened by his armor, but it was caved in and pressing painfully against his now, making even breathing difficult. Slowly he struggled to his knees, then climbed to his feet, nearly toppling over more then once. He dismissed his now ruined armor, leaving him wearing more casual clothong, as if he was ready to go out on the town.
'Stupid...fish thing...' He mentally commented. He knew he was outmatched, and he wasn't going to stick around to try to test his luck against it when all else had failed. The fact he was still alive was lucky as is. His body glowed and in a blip he vanished in a beam of light, headed to some place less likely to be attacked by random monsters of the deep...
Location change: Element city.

First she felt embarrassment, as she roughly bounced off the thing's head. Her attack did next to nothing to the creature. Then as another's attack struck true, she watched in horror as the only other navi she thought she could relate to was beheaded in a most gruesome fashion. Then, after the humiliation, after the shock, there was only anger. This thing had just crossed a line that most wouldn't even attempt to get close to. The girl's flames quickly turned from their normal bright orange, to a red as deep as the blood that courses through human veins.
"..."
There were no words that she could speak. As soon as she rose, her sword of flame nearly doubled in size. However, since it was made entirely out of searing hot flames, it weighed nothing in the fire navi's hands. With blinding speed the began generating and tossing these blades, much like the former had been tossing children at the beast.
"BURN IN HELL!"

[Static]
Why? Why was he returning here? What did he have to prove or to gain by returning to this boring beach filled with napping nobodies? Static walked deep in thought. Why was it so difficult for people to understand the concept of Anarchy? Whatever. Static looked ahead, only to see someone on fire and a monster of some form. As he approached, he saw various people dying due to the strange monster.
"HAHA. So much bloodshed." Static said, and with a whoosh, his spear appeared in his hand. "I hope I'm not stealing your thunder, you disgusting abomination! HAHA!" he continued, and dashed toward Serix, attempting to stab her from behind.
"HaHaHa!"

It took only a split second for Serix to notice the second assailant. She turned on a dime, easily parrying the back-stab, then placed her palm on the navi's chest, sending her fire energy coursing through it.
"Hmph, did you really think I would fall so easily?"

As Serix's surge of flame rolled over the beast, its scales took on the familiar charred color. The thing roared - in pain, defiance, or some combination thereof - as the healing liquid seeped out from his body again, covering him in a shining, slick coat of regeneration. The discoloration and damage on his scales proceeded to heal noticeably as the liquid washed over it - and the thing took the opportunity to swing its hefty tail at Serix while her back was turned, knocking her off her feet and sending her flying.

As Serix put her hand on Static's chest, he quickly created a thin film of water to cool himself down, unflinching. Although he felt the heat damaging him, he took a deep breath and acted cool, although his eyes were wincing. Static could smell burning, and he felt the fire wrap around him. His cloak was set ablaze by the heat. Water rushed from his gloved hands to cover his body in a thick coat of the stuff. As he did this he continued to keep his stoic demeanor and watched the monster behind Serix flail, noticing the secretion from the pores in its skin. He jumped away from Serix as the monster whipped it's tail around.
"Guess you play for keeps!" said Static, his voice crackling and self-modulating into a hissing, near-incoherent mess of white noise. Not wanting Serix to die, Static jumped at the monster head on, putting his hands on his firey cloak and attempting to wrap it around the thing's head. With one hand holding the corners of his cloak, he solidified the data of his spear, the data of the one he had left dissolving at the same rate. With the spear, he stabbed at the back of the thing's neck, twisting as the edge pierced its skin. He put his mouth to the wound, and began to suck whatever liquids flowed. His Anti-Poison program kicked in automatically, based on Static's assumption that the liquid he was ingesting wasn't the safest thing.
((OOC: Yes, I realize this is hyper-speed, near-godmod battling, but I thoroughly expect to be lolpwnt by UFA, either blocking the attack or destroying Static otherwise. In that case, you can pretty much ignore everything past the first sentence of the second paragraph, and I'll play with the new cards UFA is going to deal me (most likely death)))

The scales may have been charred, but that did not mean they were weak or broken. Static's spear bounced off the thing's hide uselessly, never piercing his skin. Sucking on where the wound would have been, he still wound up with a bit of the fluid in his mouth - which had no effect save for a salty taste, like seawater.
With another grunt, the monster threw himself down onto the ground backwards, crushing Static beneath his bulk.
STATIC.EXE DELETED
He pushed himself back up onto his feet with his mighty tail and snarled menacingly at Serix. The liquid had stopped flowing and he was once more completely healed and intact.

[bgcolor=black](Slackers the lot a ya!)
Shortly after the shark monster had uttered its stomach turning snarl the ground beneath it began to swirl. Lightly at first and small in size, but in seconds was large enough to fit the massive monstrosity entirely. Before the beast could move or react the sand reached up with massive hands to pull the beast down fast acting quicksand style.
From within the pit the heat started to mysteriously rise and turn a dim orange, signalling the intent of the cesspool of sand. The temperature rose at an exponential speed causing a small stream of smoke to rise. A hopeful attempt to dry roast the nigh unstoppable creature.
A short distance away a generic green navi in a kneeling position had his hand firmly planted into the beach's soft sand. Glancing in the general direction of fighting.

Serix was, for the most part, worn out from expending so much energy in one day. She was running on empty as she attempted to stand. The beast was gone, but there seemed to be another navi in the area. She looked to one that had probably killed the thing. She collapsed on the first step towards the navi, then got up, and tried again, with the exact same result. Realizing how futile it was to try walking, she raised her right arm and motioned for the navi to come closer to her. Whether her motion would be noticed was uncertain, but she at least had to try.

The beast was not yet dead. It was collapsed on the ground, its scales and skin charred beyond recognition. The healing liquid was oozing out as expecting, soaking the sand of the beach. Its effects were in progress, but it was slow going for sure. The thing was moaning in pain, immobile, vulnerable... to something.

[bgcolor=black]The girl collapsed before him and the navis left eye twitched slightly. A few moments later the fish monster busted from its sandy toaster, signalling it was nearly done. He just nearly needed to apply the toppings.
The generic navi pulled his hand from the sand threw it up above his head with the index finger out. As the finger reached its peak a small gust of wind blew, encircling the still crouched navi and becoming charged with a strong electrical current. A couple seconds of 'idling' later the static aura launched itself outward, exploding on contact with the fish monstrosity and enveloping it entirely, its power amplified by the healing juices.
By this point the monster had been thoroughly thrashed, and properly pounded. The generic green navi looked around and saw no other bystanders in the area except that faceplanted loner. The time had come to... indulge. The navi cracked his neck and the blank canvas where a non-basic navis mouth is began to cracked and stretch, like he was trying to open his mouse. After a second of tugging the digital plating tore and the maw opened, revealing large and sharp teeth.
The navis eyes turned a vivid yellow and his fingers sharper. These recent changes aside nothing else had been altered about the navi. He drilled both hands into the sand and instantly 5 tendrils erupted around and through the scaled terror. They carried their prey into the air and impaled him a second time, this time not going all the way through.
The same process happened to Serix, tendrils skewing her form, lifting her not quite as high as their fishy friend, and then stabbing her a second time.
With both prey and predator caught within his grasp the being began to siphon their data away. Even after they had exploded into data remnants to float off, the tendrils continued to suckle at them, not allowing parts of them to escape this newcomers ravenous hunger. With dinner scattered to the wind, and a full stomach, the navi ripped his hands from the ground thus returning the tendrils and hopped into the air a couple feet. Only to fall through the ground upon landing. His departure complete without a soul the wiser.

Black fog rolls across the network, carrying with it a floaty black powder. It hangs in the air and reduces visibility to a mere few feet in front of anyone. The vast ocean within this area of the net turns a deep black as well as the sandy beach due to the powder within the fog.

Finale arrives on the black beach, Lab-Coat and Sandstorm in tow.
"So, that proposal." He said to the mysterious navi.

Sandstorm brought his visualization program up post-haste.
[Proposal? a business proposition?]
With the program showing his message, he didn't need to say as much as someone would in a normal conversation. This useful tool helped him to conserve a bit more of his energy.
[By the way, Finale, there were a few questions I had for you, but they can wait until later. I'm gonna go get something to drink. I'm pretty much running on empty after wasting so much energy in Element City.]
