Off in another section of the network, a beam of light and energy shot down and hit the ground, the form of a navi slowly coming into view as the light and energy died away, revealing Shadow, who had a none to happy expression on his face. He fell backwards onto his rear and let out a cry of frustration mixed with pain.
"That no good...GAH! I swear I'll tear him apart one day!" Shadow vented, to no one other then him self. He never liked being reminded he had a ways to go before he could count him self truly powerful. He took to tending to his injury Ruin gave him, lucky he supposed that it was all he did, but that was of minor importance to him. He wanted to be back on his feet, literally and figuratively as soon he could. It was a slow process healing damage of this caliber though, so aggravated, he sat and waited as his systems slowly repaired them selves.

*As Shadow moped, two twin-like navis circled around him. Looking at him almost condescendingly, one of them chuckled.*
"B": So A, do you think he'll do? I mean, he survived a beating like that...and not even in a DarkSoul either! Just the kind we're looking for!
"A": Indeed he is B. I think we should stop pretending he can't hear us, and introduce ourselves.
*The duo made a back-to-back stance, holding retro busters to their sides. The fan-like protrusions on their helmets were a trademark, as they were symmetrically identical.*
GeminiMan: We are GeminiMan. And we're here to help ya!
*Before Shadow could even let his pride retaliate, Gemini A examined Shadows injury, before kneeling down to assist him.*
"A": I've got a bit of regenerative abilities of my own, I'll see if I can't transfer that over to you for a bit, at least 'til you get on your feet.

[Entering Nu::] “Everyone loves a good defenseless animal;” _______________________________ Everyone loved a defenseless animal! Who did not?
Defenseless animals were very common in the real world; you could find them on the street corners drifting away from though with a bottle wrapped in a crispy brown bag, themselves hunched over a desk all shaky with a pencil in hand and staring at a sheet of paper, or even just living life with people around them but feeling as if they are all alone. Yes, they were very common in that world that a certain being observed and it was so puzzling that it amused her to no end. Such pathetic creatures that are so ignorant to feel alone when surrounded by millions of their own kind, and not yet a drop of crimson liquid or injury to show on their fleshy parts.
However, the net was very different and program did not have those worries or fleeting emotions. They were all in their head! The only actual injuries were more common since the event filled happenings in the nation of CreamLand. The network was in disarray in some of its reaches, and some even began to fight amongst themselves because of this. It was absolutely gullible! NetNavis were becoming so much like humans now that it was just too funny! This filled a certain being with something questionable just observing the weakened creature that was known as, Shadow:
Sympathy? No, most likely not. Interest...not in particular? Hunger...
Yes? Yes! That had to be it! It was the instinct she had gone on so far. Out of all the injured NetNavis, viruses, and other creatures that were damaged by this incident, they were easy pickings; vulnerable beings who were right to be absorbed into her body and have their data used to expand in her growth and development. The fickle and cruel creature observed on as nothing but a single eye in a puddle, but soon begun to make her presence known as her body bubbled from the terrain as if it was liquid. The hues of the area begun to differentiate themselves from the faux Kotobuki Network’s orange to pink as data had begun to strip itself from the ground like thin trimmings of paper and fade like vapor. Soon, the bubbling puddled had become a buxom and curvy humanoid figure that looked upon all three of the NetNavis with a promiscuous and perverse smile.
Happy to see them? Not likely. She did not know them. Interest in knowing how it would feel to “subdue” them? Anything to make her feel elated.
The peculiar program had stood saying nothing, but kept that grin on her face as she looked upon GeminiMan and Shadow. She wondered how to go about this. Having more than one program present was not usually a good thing seeing that gossip and panic spread like wildfire, and her relationship with that naïve little girl was very helpful when it came to needing a place to hide herself.
Out in the open, standing before the two NetNavis, the program machinated a scheme all in her head. Shadow had managed to repair the major damaged aspects of his leg, thankful he had such self repair capabilities. But as he continued to fume over the situation that led to this, suddenly two navi's...er...or one? Hard to say...made their appearance to him.
Shadow wanted to tell then off for lurking...he wanted to know what they meant by him being the kind they were looking for. But watching the duo's introduction left him speechless. Not in a good way exactly, as it was the most...most...he didn't even know what to call it...
Finally though he found his tongue when one if the two knelt down and began poking about in HIS business. "What the heck do you think your doing?!" he shouted, shifting a bit so as to plant his other foot against the navi's chest and kicking it back away from him.
I didn't ask or WANT your help!" he spat. Almost to prove a point he locked his jaw as he forced him self to climb to his feet. Ignoring the pain shooting up and down his leg still. Sure it was operational again, but it still was damaged, and it wasn't about to let him forget.
Thus far he had his back to the newcomer, completely unaware of her arrival, he forgot his question he had a moment ago and instead continued venting towards the two before him, his voice dark and threatening. " Why don't you go find a useless ONB member, they probably actually need the help. "

[bgcolor=black]*As the blue navi was blown back, the other whistled at the show of strength. Gemini A had risen to his feet quickly and cracked his shoulder, which he had landed on almost squarely. Laughing quietly, he rubbed the outermost prongs of the helmet-fan before nodding and speaking in a rather un-provoked tone.*
"A": No no no...you don't get it. We need YOUR help. B and I have a lot of...shall we say..."foes"...that we feel are better off...for lack of a better word...exterminated. But of course...why should you help us? Well, we have a nice little talent that can be...unfortunate, to cross paths with, nearly inescapable, y'know. Shall we B?
"B": Okay, A! I'm on it!
*Just then, the duo powered themselves up with their might, as a mirror-like aura surrounded them. It was one-way, as well, so Shadow could only see his own reflection staring back at him. With the armor-like aura in place, the navis threw 2 glass-like prisms high into the air over Shadow before blasting them. It was clear that the laser they had shot were bouncing of almost endlessly within. The team spoke in unison as they stood in an anatomical position.*
GeminiMan: This is the best part! Here it comes!
*The beam struck true, and refracted off of their auras, bounding around Shadow countless times before they slammed their fanned out hands together, forcing the lasers to converge in on Shadow all at once. Before the smoke cleared, they were massaging their clearly burnt hands, as the attack takes a slight toll on them.*
GeminiMan: There's a lot in this for you. Think of the power...If you can delete us then, we will commend you. Until then, calm yourself, and learn how to best cripple and exert your power over the ones you hate.

“Everyone loves a good defenseless animal;” _______________________________ How did human beings describe these individuals? Oh, Yeah! That’s right!
Nu had simply sit staring at the idiotic NetNavis. Her appearance did not revoke reaction, nor attention at that fact. It could only be assumed they lacked brain capacity when it came to the comprehension of certain programs, or they were as superficial as those girly cliques as she learned about on society. However, Nu was not to take advantage of ignorance that easily; if anything, the knowledge (or in this case, lack of) her being and intention would play to her advantage. With so many NetNavis on at once, she doubt she could launch a pre-emptive chance to snatch what she desired, and so she resulted in the next best thing: interaction.
*SNICKER-SNICKER-SNICKER!* The light show ended with that, and not a clap of applause by Nu, *SNICKER-SNICKER-SNICKER!* The blob-girl might as well been insulting their performance like some child’s play in front of an audience of soccer moms.
The peculiar program of course had no voice or sense of talking, so she simply had let out a grotesque gurgle from her body as she coveted her mouth and bobbed her head imitating laughter. When the light show was over, she stepped to the side as she made herself apparent for the injured and grounded NetNavi to see her. Her right hand lifted as she pointed her index digit towards the performing twins and wrinkled her nose slightly with her teeth showing from a pitiful smile.
“These two fools? Are you serious?!” Her voice had not said this, for the blob girl had no voice. Just the way she pointed her finger and shown that expression on her face had said so much in that instance. Her arms went around her waist, right beneath her buxom bosoms as she tilted her head over and that grotesque gurgling sound had come from her body once more.
*SNICKER-SNICKER-SNICKER!* That was enough laughter...for now.
As she lifted her head and put her hands to her hips, the curious program decided to take stage to the failed performance of the duo. The program had stepped forth, separating herself between Shadow and the twins. Her eyes looked down upon the two as she shown that nasty, perverted smile of hers. Her stature had spoken of a lot of things in place of what she could have said behind those gritted teeth: egotistical, arrogant, and scheming little thoughts that compared her one body to the split form of the twins that acted as one. All silent but the tense feeling of obsoleteness within her.
Nu, hugging a shoulder with a chin, a corner peripheral look at Shadow from a corner of her eyes, made a hearty unsaid argument that the two twins were nothing short of less than “common.” _______________________________ “They’re the most vulnerable, even in human nature.” ::OOC Stats:: Now Listening To: ”I Want Nothing“ by Kerli IC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----

Shadow continued to give the two twins a icy glare, not interested in much of what they were saying, changing tune to now needing his help. Why would he help them? What would it do for him?
Then he watched as they began their little laser show...at least he figured it was just a show. When they finally converged the laser barrage toward him, he snarled, activating his defensive measures, causing his armor to be overcome by a sheen. As each of the lasers hit, it did minor damage at best. Granted there was quite a few involved now, but as the dust cleared, and his armor returned to normal, other then various scorch marks, he looked no worse for wear.
Looks weren't everything though, having still been recovering from Ruin smashing his leg, this didn't feel to good either. His irritation at his lack of power in comparison to Ruin, and these two puck navi's as he thought of em...his anger started to get the better of him. Until the strange jelly like 'creature' made her self known.
He watched as it made a strange gurgling like laugh, and seemed to not talk, but rather gesture...and gurgle... As she went about her form of communicating, he watched, not sure what to think or expect. But he seemed to get the idea she was humored by the twins. Why was beyond him.
It was about this point Shadow realized he had been clenching and unclenching his fists. Realizing he had a strong urge to start attacking and asking questions later. But he managed to keep himself restrained for the time.
His attention continued to be focused on the twins, not to sure what to think of mrs.blob thing. She...it...what ever, had yet to do anything to imply she was dangerous to him. Instead he spoke to Geminiman again. "I don't want to hear your lectures sparkles. I know what I am doing, I am not some new navi that needs his hand held. he said, disgust obvious in his tone. " Now if that is an invitation for me to tear into you though...I will gladly do so..." he said, this time his voice dark and dripping with malice.
As he finished speaking, as if to reinforce he meant what he said, his shoulder cannon's chambers rotated slowly, clicking as it did so, followed by a soft whining noise. He wasn't exactly looking forward to a fight. But was more then ready to prepare if it came to it.

[bgcolor=black]Well beyond a noticeable distance away from the active party of Shadow and company a slender female navi darts from floating landmass to floating landmass. With each teleportation she checks a small slip of paper, glances around, and takes off again.
Hmm mm mmhm♪♫ She hummed a tune as she scanned each area for what she was looking for. After all looking for something in silence put too much of a serious spin on her work.

“Everyone loves a good defenseless animal;” _______________________________ That smile was back.
Nu liked this strange development; it seemed that the NetNavi’s pride had lead him to react violently to the pair of twin’s generosity. Funny! Too funny! NetNavis were trying so hard to be like humans. Nu had ultimately had considered that it was all just a ploy in their heads; senseless little emotions emulated by certain coding of zero and ones and nothing more to it. She had long past the interest of trying to understand human beings since they were impulsive and acted by a variable not present in this world, and she had always thought trying to absorb NetNavis to understand it was only a lost cause or something that did not garner her interest since it was obvious.
She did the next best thing, only think of taking advantage of the heat of the moment.
Nu had played the role of being a simple spectator: she would get her show and the thrill afterwards when it was over; that being the thrill of what to do with the winner. She had been so engrossed in the thought of taking advantage of the moment, she ignored the new wandering NetNavi in the area...but only slightly; after all, having witnesses was really bothersome! The common NetNavi always either wanted to play hero or ultimately squeal, and she had planned on keeping her little friend in the dark as much as possible seeing she had not finished her services with her “temporary” Net Operator.
All things aside, she simply case a cold unseen glare from the corner of her eyes before letting her attention drift to the gold plated NetNavi and the twins.
Her right arm lifted as she wave it about drawing slightest of attention. She was playing around on her own, and the game very much was “referee.” She seemed to have an interest in pushing this little quarrel along for her own amusement and gain at the very least. At Com Square, a wind navi meditates...
From the skies above the square, a crepescular sky opens to stars and the nocturnal skyscape that the architecture below can only hope to reach... someday. But not this day. The sky opens.
In l'internet du soir, the Netopian night-livened utopia, the same scene unfolds: The sky, touched by the infinite lights below, splits to reveal that which is past it.
The alleyways of Kotobuki witness the same phenomenon, but from every direction and no particular way due to the nature of the area. Five skies open seven ways, and air begins to buffet all of those below.
Seven skies and nine ways across three networks and three countries, witnessed by millions. Static from the occurance begins to accumulate to where the slightest twitch of a navi or the vaguest gesture of a virus can feel their data move against the pressure, and the feeling is more than tangible.
At the Square red streams of data pour down, down, down toward a statue of the revered SearchMan, pride and joy of Sharonians everywhere and the onetime top elite operative of the winter country. The statue begins to disintegrate under the sluice but each bit of data folds onto the next in a far-too-organized manner.
By the outskirts of the elegant night-city, in the park where a massive pond sits as a center of relaxation, the red streams of data hit the surface of the water and speed heedlessly toward a gazebo on the water's edge where they pick up loose databits and add an out-of-place ancient gothic design to an already beautiful location.
Meanwhile, in the radiation-altered cityscape of Kotobuki, the same streams of crimson information rush toward a warehouse sitting outside the city-proper on more solid ground: Here they recolor and redress years of neglect, but also begin constructing a device in the center of the floor.
...and orchestrates...
The statue collapses under the manipulations of the new data, but as even the floor begins to give way it reveals the true nature of these mutilations: Stairs begin to appear, long and narrow steps leading down toward a center a small distance below where the statue stood. When all finished a portal, massive and glowing with ominous dark energy, stands free upon the ground. Those nearby can almost see a tunnel into the net behind the portal, regardless of the direction they're facing.
The gazebo gains gargoyles and granularity it did not dream of possessing before. The wooden appearance becomes hard stone, the slatted floor becomes massive slabs, the pathway leading to it becomes dirt and darkness. Torches lead the way to the structure, and once nearby, one might see a portal... and through it, steps leading downward and down, to infinity.
The warehouse transforms from a far-removed piecemeal structure to a hub of twisting and darkened pathways each leading to a different door. Each door leads to a different set of steps which then, in turn, lead to a different portal... but each is the same and connected, networked and assimilated through the strangeness of the area to become the same link to another place where a vast plain of darkness stands against a darker sky.
...until a dream becomes reality. Five years removed from its removal, an ancient locale is released.
Over each portal hovers a small and weakened barrier-guard, particulate red lines of warning data intended only to keep out those wary souls who might doublethink their descent... <WARNING: UNDERNET>

*The duo again shrugged of the brutish gesture, and soon learned that one with Shadow's...."will" just couldn't be helpful to their cause.*
A: Invitation?
B: To fight us? Are you daft man?! We've issued no such challenge!
A: You use brute force, as means of communication, but when it's reciprocated...
B: You use it to slake your lust for murder.
A: I don't think you know what you're doing...
B: Because if you did, you wouldn't be so eager to slaughter us..
A: Quite the conundrum, really.
B: Your brash attitude may be made up by your strength.
A: But your attitude and drive....
B: Leaves much to be desired.
*While they were speaking, they could feel the area shift, before seeing the dimension visibly alter, opening the portal. A convenient way out, it seems.*
GeminiMan: Well, it seems that's our cue...Sayonara, crazy brute navi.

They continued to talk down on him, he was beginning to get VERY annoyed at that. Not an issued challenge? He was fairly certain they mentioned 'if you can delete us, we will commend you'. If that wasn't a challenge of sorts he wasn't sure what was.
Before he could think more about his course of action though, he suddenly felt a pressure unlike anything he had felt in the network, even as warped as it was. As the network was warped farther, and a warehouse not to far from their location was twisted and became an entrance to the undernet once again, after so long, Shadow's face twisted into a wicked grin.
'These twerps aren't worth the time anyhow. What would it prove if I destroyed them? They seem rather pathetic and cowardly. he mused to himself. His interest centered on the appearance of a place he had missed for years. Though his reasons have changed slightly, it was still likely a wonderful place for him to farther his personal goal.
Ignoring the Goo-woman navi thing, Shadow began to walked towards the newly formed entrance to the undernet, stopping only to snort at the silly sight of the twins trying to access the Undernet by simple warping. They wanted to call him foolish and crazy? They were ones to talk.
" Don't bother, that place has no desire to see a couple flashy nitwits like your selves down there. " he said, the malice in his voice gone. He was hoping they would stay away from him, AND the undernet for that matter. He continued walking, leaving the three behind him, as he made his way to the entrance to what he might actually consider a home for himself.
As Shadow stood at the center of the hub like structure now, he chose a random pathway and followed it, through the door, down the stairs, now facing the portal before him, a weird barrier like program covering it to prevent people from wandering into their likely, untimely deaths.
After eying the barrier and the warning it portrayed, he chuckled lightly, igniting his arm blade as he did so. Wordlessly he swung his blade up, slashing into the barrier, making a vertical gash as long as he was tall. Believing there was no other prevention measures he promptly stepped forward to enter the portal, wondering how things might have changed in the years past.

A: For shame...
B: Looks like we ain't allowed...
GeminiMan: Time to find others for our cause!
*And like that, having shrugged off Shadow completely by now, the two marched out to who knows where.*

“Everyone loves a good defenseless animal;” _______________________________ Such a strange phenomenon could not do much more than help garner attention.
The blob girl looked on to the portal that was formed amongst the atmosphere. It was something to marvel at, and she knew this because she was nonetheless captivated just staring at it. Just by looking upon it, she could feel some eerie eminence that is apart from the current network. It was chilling, mysterious, and yet interesting. Interesting and nothing short! Of course something like this would entertain the notion of the peculiar program thinking about exploring or absorbing some of the data within the boundary. She had watched as the two twins tried to flee into the portal themselves only to become rejected...
*Snicker-Snicker-Snicker!* the program made the strange gurgling sound showing that the twins had entertained her once more with their bumbling display.
Even though that the twins had failed the portal which supplied entertainment, this also meant that it was a sure shot sign to the amoeba. Mostly, this had told her that the network was not accessible by ordinary means. The program folded her arms simply staring on as she was puzzled by how to enter the dark void. Was it perhaps a password required to break the protection, or was there some sort of special procedure? It was beyond her knowledge, and yet, her attention and interest had told her to not turn away.
What was the proper procedure for the moment?
*SWISH!!!*
There was a strike by the golden trimmed NetNavi who attacked the portal. He had attempted to make a strike, and to her surprise, there was a gash that nonetheless surprised the blob-like program. It seemed that this NetNavi was more than meets the eye when it came to his abilities. With the twins turning and seeming to lose interest, it left Nu tempted to attempt to absorb the program as she had a blank look in her eyes and her tongue’s tip coming to the edge of her lips with a sound and grotesque sounding stroke.
Well, what good was a feast if you simply tried to swallow it all whole?
Nu had decided it was best to fight her urge. After all, this program had seemed to have much to teach if she was willing to learn by another method other than trying to devour. If he happened to have this kind of power and his cocky attitude towards the two bumbling twins, then who were to say he was not powerful enough to give her trouble and then the whistle would be blown on her little existence that simply allows her to take in the embodiment of programs and NetNavis in order to become stronger?
Nodding with that nasty smirk on her face, Nu had decided to follow the NetNavi like a stray dog into the barrier. Her right arm made a blade as she swung. Her degenerating slime like acid as she attempted to use it in order to widen the gash and flashing a smile towards the golden trim NetNavi; an opening gesture of trust to assist from her to him. She seemed to show a great interest in following as if she was a promiscuous little girl
She would not bite...not just yet at least. _______________________________ “They’re the most vulnerable, even in human nature.” ::OOC Stats:: Now Listening To: ”I Want Nothing“ by Kerli IC Attire: Default Chatty Ditz: -----
