A drop of rain. Another. The rain that seemed to have been following Warrior had finally rolled in, and Finale was somewhat enjoying it. "Right now, I'm planning on going inside."Although the rain was a nice change of pace, it was cold and damp, and Finale, taking into consideration his new clothing, wasn't one to catch a cold. Finale turned heels just as the navi asked him if he would listen to his proposition, so he was at Finale's back. Finale answered wittily. "Depends on if you're willing to speak."And then there was Sandstorm, the strange mummy Finale had met when he was reborn. Not a sour memory, but rather a sweet one, one of companionship in adversity. A strange feeling. He walked past Sandstorm, ready to leave the network. Onward to another sector of the city. Some place with... coffee. "Coming?" he asked as a question to those behind him. He was interested in what the lab-coat navi had to say, but was also interested in what Remnant was up to now that he had found what he could only assume was the original - Warrior. And the rain continued, not pouring, but a leisurely drizzle. And Finale kept walking, not too fast, but a brisk and steady pace. ((OOC: Roll credits.))

Finale didn't even need to ask. Nor did Sandstorm need to reply. Without a word, the sand navi dispersed himself, following his companion on the wayward winds.

*Just as the rain above begins to pick up, a massive blast of pure black energy rocks Element City, its epicenter hidden by the tall structures that line the street and the resulting quake accompanied by a flash of paradoxical white light that casts a stark contrast to the onyx explosion that spawned it. In the blink of an eye, the shock-wave from the blast screams outward and causes the windows of numerous buildings in the area to shatter under the raw force, and also sends the form of a Navi, ablaze in black flames from the attack, to take center stage. Tumbling in mid-air, landing on his feet, and sliding back on his heels to break his momentum, the Navi quickly slashes his hand forward and across his form, causing the fires to die down in an instant. Without leaving his on-guard position, the masked Navi then reaches to his waist and grips a small, non-descript item, looking to the sky over the still-burning black inferno, as if prepared for another to join him on center-stage….*

As Finale walked away, Warrior and Remnant paused, pondering whether or not to follow. While Remnant continued to stand there, Warrior took a step forward in Finale's direction.
" I'm sticking to my wor--"
Warrior's speech and his walk were interrupted by an earth-shaking explosion just a few blocks away from where he was. He crouched to one knee and crossed both arms over his tucked head to withstand the shockwave, as well as the shattering glass that followed suit.
Remnant was a few yards behind Warrior, but didn't have time to crouch down and brace for the shockwave. Surprisingly, he wasn't knocked off his feet.
"..."
Warrior slowly rose to his feet, looking at all of the smoke that was now coating the area. He felt no heat of the fire... there was no fire. It had been blown out.
" It was a navi..."
" ... What?"
" In the blast. I saw a Navi."
"..."
This white-lab coat fellow could do as he pleased with Finale. Warrior figured his presence was much more required by someone who actually did blow up the city.
He brushed off the dust that covered him (though not successfully removing all of it) as he approached what he could only assume was the center of the impact -- follow closely by Remnant.
The mysterious Navi wasn't exactly hiding itself, either, and actually seemed totally unharmed from that explosion just a second ago. That was either extremely scary or just plain... weird.
Naturally, Warrior approached this person to welcome them to Earth get whatever information he could off of it. He wasn't wielding his sword -- not in his hand at least. It rested comfortably on his back, giving off the impression that Warrior's approach was entirely non-threatening.
" That was one flashy entrance."
Warrior took another look around to survey the immediate area. The buildings were nicely obliterated and burnt to black ashes. Billows of black smoke still rising.
Remnant kept his distance from the newcomer, standing there with his arms crossed and watching both him and Warrior closely. Things usually got nasty right about now. Who's to say this time couldn't be different, though?
" ... Would it have killed you to tone it down a bit?"

*Steadily lowering down near the black inferno was the figure of another navi, the first thing to be seen from it was the onyx blade held by the other. The blade reflecting no light from it, almost like the armor he wore that did reflect such light, purple eyes gazing forward as he closed the distance. He thought to voice a warning, but no warning was better than what came next. Swinging the sword as multiple blasts of black surged across the field and at the masked navi and anything else near him, particularly Warrior in this case, as the thunderous roar echoed from each of them before they exploded much like the first one, stopping the attack for a moment. Black energy overflowed from the blade, before a much larger wave fired forth, but seemed to weaker compared to the others sent before it. After that his attack came to an abrupt halt, almost as though he were waiting to see the results of the attacks already sent instead.*

" Warrior!"
Warrior's head snapped to Remnant at his call, only to snap back around at the thundering sword coming from his opposite side, giving him little to no time for reaction at what was coming.
"!"
But little to no time was enough for Warrior.
He quickly leaped back from the spot he was standing in as the explosions washed over the area -- narrowly escaping (but escaping none the less) each blast.
Having put distance between himself and the targeted area, there was no need to evade the incoming wave of darkness, following the blasts.
Warrior gripped his blade (but didn't remove it from it's place) as he looked up to see who made the attack, almost giving out a sigh at the figure he'd recognized.
" ... Stealing the show, again."
Well hopefully this mysterious new person wasn't here on peaceful terms. Not that he expected them to be to begin with.
And it would come as no surprise once it came out of that attack unscathed -- although Warrior was still sort of waiting for that part to happen as the dust settled.
Remnant had kept his distance enough that he was out of range for each attack executed.
He made no further action, either though.
Looks like it was time to sit on the sidelines again as something important happened that neither Remnant nor Warrior would have any real effect on. How exciting.
" ... I Should've just been satisfied with the last guy."
These sort of things usually began with a crushing defeat anyway. Might as well skip that part this time, or just let it happen.

*With his position already set to counter the blows, the masked Navi rises like lightning from where he kneels, taking to the sky in a flash as the waves of power roll past, crushing the ground where he had been a split second earlier. A crack of thunder and a flash of lightning break the silence of the burning city, as the masked Navi’s body begins to absorb energy from across the field. Then, in a brilliant show of power, a cascading veil of lightning crashes across the battlefield, striking wildly throughout the city as a single pillar of electricity falls from the heavens around the Onyx Overlord, crushing the earth as it discharges with an ear-splitting scream. It’s then that the masked Navi, still in mid-air, draws out the item that he had taken in his hand before and thrusts it to the side, a giant, twin-bladed plasma lance taking form in the blink of an eye. With his weapon poised to strike, the Navi falls like a blinding comet, his form obscured by the still falling bolts of lightning as he strikes Genesis’ position, clashing blades with the swordsman and holding him at bay*
Scarface: Submit to your end…
*As Scarface’s blade clashes with Fate, bright purple sparks begin to surge across the onyx sword’s surface, the overwhelming electrical energy produced by the Lightning Knight forcing itself into Genesis’ systems*

Even though Sandstorm was supposed to be following Finale, something stopped him. The thunderous sounds of two great powers in opposition of each other. He turned his head to see the electricity sparking from one navi, and the sheer darkness of the other. And who was in their path but the warrior that had only moments before been fixed on Finale. Sandstorm didn't know who this navi was, but he knew that he would be important in the times to come.
[Well, such is the life of an escaped project. Short, and meaningless.]
He was clear of two things then. If this navi took any damage from the fight above, things would be very bad for the future. Thinking nothing of his own life, Sandstorm twisted his form into a sort of Dome to shield the navi. The visualization program appeared within the dome that was Sandstorm.
[You may think this effort meaningless, but you will be needed in battles yet to take place. Don't ask me how I know this, even I don't know how I know. I suppose this is what most would call a gut feeling. My sand shield should be enough to protect you and the other you's for the duration of this battle. The one's fighting, I can sense their power. They are too much for you alone to handle.]
Yes, the navi and his companions would likely survive, but if Sandstorm took the amount of damage he was expecting, he would likely be deleted. He had to at least hold out long enough for someone to show up and stop these two in their tracks.

" HEY!"
He was just ignored! Completely ignored!
No, literally! Warrior wasn't even mentioned in that guy's post!
" I ASKED YOU A QUESTION!"
" Warrior, are you sure you should be--"
Remnant's words fell on deaf ears as Warrior made his own grand leap at the two almighty gods of war... or so their personas led others to believe.
If they didn't want to talk -- just mindlessly fight instead -- then Warrior could play the same role as well.
During his ascent into the dark sky above, golden lightning began to tear its way through the clouds. It was very clearly a different kind of lightning than Scarface had any manipulation over. Warrior had noticed this opponent to share a similarity with him in this respect, but this didn't worry him.
As the two behemoths locked blades, Warrior crashed into the ground next to them with the force of a flying boulder, landing with his sword first. He didn't slash either of them, though, and clearly didn't intend to.
As he made his violent collision with the ground, a massive bolt of lightning struck down from the heavens -- the size of which gave it the description of a blinding pillar -- crashing down to where Scarface and Genesis had been.
Striking at Genesis was almost a return of the favor from before, and after all, Warrior had never known him not to be able to take a good hit. But it didn't matter if this bolt hit.
While it was aimed for the two rivals, the trajectory of the bolt was destined to go beyond it's target -- predetermined to pierce the ground beneath them. As the bolt struck, it remained in place for several full seconds, creating a 3-meter diameter hole that theoretically reached to the Cyber World's core. Like a volcano, debris erupted from the bottomless pit and was thrown violently in every direction like shrapnels of a grenade, some of which even struck Warrior -- tearing his clothes and bringing blood to the mildly-deep wounds it brought.
If the force of the collision with Earth and Lightning wasn't enough to push all surrounding parties away, then the deafening sound would have been. The Network shook as the echo of Thunder rung throughout the entire City -- even Finale and the others could hear it vividly from so far away, where they also felt the quake of the impact.
Blown away by his own attack, Warrior quickly climbed back to his feet and threw various chunks of debris off of his body after having been knocked back about a block from the point of the strike. His death-tight grip on his Sword was reliable as ever.
"..."
He'd planned on saying something right then, but he was past the point of talking.
The golden streaks of lightning continued to scream in the sky above, almost as if challenging the Storm of Scarface. While the two fought on the ground, their affinities would fight in the clouds.
And as for Genesis... Warrior was rather indifferent.
They'd both inevitably be caught in the radius of each other's attacks.
Sandstorm's dome did not gather around Warrior, but Remnant. He grinned at the support he received... though it was not in the form best fitting.
" No effort is meaningless, and no enemy unbeatable. If you'll lend us your strength, allow us to harness it in how we believe it can best be utilized."

*Genesis was struck by the electricity, the Onyx Overlord down to a knee at the epicenter of the blast. He started to stand however, meeting the plasma lance of the Lightning Knight with his own sword. He could feel the intensity from Scarface as always when they crashed swords, feeling the electrical energy forcing its way into his systems.*
"After you."
*But he wasn't known for backing down very easily, not when it was... he might have to change his focus a bit this time. It had been broken this time when Warrior had landed down rather fiercely near them, making it was loudly clear he was about to join in this too and made Genesis spring into action. His eyes flashed, the lightning that seemed to head his way, though not directly, being pushed more towards Scarface as he moved back and broke their clash of blades, the effects of last wave he fired being revealed for Scarface himself then. Some of his abilities seemed to be locked up, the Advent unveiling itself as it always had, by surprise.*
*In his free hand did a sword of pure energy form, using it to meet with Warrior's own strike. When the debris shot forth, most of it hit harmlessly against his armor, but some did leave some damage in the end. He had underestimated how strong Warrior was, flawed logic given how much time had passed since they last exchanged blows with one another. He picked himself up right away, ignoring the injuries as some started to take care of themselves. He would have to take Warrior seriously this time. It was nothing personal, but...*
"... I guess this isn't so bad."
*He would wait for Scarface to make his move before going after him again, having him in plain sight instead of charging a foe he couldn't see. On the other hand, he could see Warrior right at this moment, tossing the sword at Warrior and holding his hand out. A pointless action on its own unless he was guiding the sword, but he wasn't. The ground beneath Warrior shifted then, seeking to ensnare his legs and hold him in place as the sword sent his way exploded in a loud explosion of black right as it got close enough. A chain launched out from his arm then as well, aiming to capture Warrior's sword arm as another wave of energy blasted off from it, the ground cracking at its passing as it made its way towards Warrior.*

"What in the-?"A blast. No- a series of blasts. One by one shockwaves rocked the city, they could be felt even to the far edges. Finale looked back only for a moment just to see a trio of lights. That seemed to be fighting. While they were a few blocks away, Finale could immediately discern that his party had left to spectate, save the man with the glass buttons. Finale kept walking in the other direction though. Blasts of lightning may have rocked the city and caused much collateral damage, but the area was evacuated anyway. If two people want to kill each other over something petty that was fine with the King. Although some emails needed to be sent. To all:
The blasts you see in the sky are not me. Powerful navis are fighting each other, evacuate. Data is cheap, your lives aren't. Stay safe.
To Remnant and Sandstorm:
You two especially. I want to talk to you again. We meet when the time is right.
"Shall we head off then?" The Viral King said to the only one that was smart enough not to go get himself killed in a fight he had no reason to be fighting.

"White Lab Coat" did not react immediately to the spectacle of power unleashed just yards away. However, his eyes DID widen when he realized Scarface had electrical affinities that could easily endanger all present, including its controller. This was no place to be. Water from the weather system and his electrical abilities, along with his disregard for the safty of anyone did not formulate an equation to 'Coat's' favor. His right hand seemed to pluck at one of the small glass buttons that kept his coat on, and a long, thin tube of glass was held in his hand.
I will accompany you until we relocate to a nonhazardous venue.
The thin tube of glass was tossed forward as he left the network with the Viral King. Gray and brown smoke escaped from the thin tube, its contents some kind of gas that swept the raining network. A very pungent odor could easily be noticed by all within the immediate area. The smell was akin to something of poultry rotting away, be it eggs or chicken itself. It was Sulfur Dioxide.

*The bolts of coursing lightning fall from Warrior's strike as Scarface still presses in against Genesis. The smaller sparks simply graze around his form, as if wishing to avoid him entirely, but the larger bolt that encased Warrior's falling blade he had no choice but to deal with directly. Sensing the change in the atmosphere from its summoning, Scarface quickly spins his plasma lance in front of himself, pushing off from Genesis and creating a shield to reflect the electrical surge away from himself. Performing several leaps back, he finds himself on the opposite side of the rift created by Warrior, the same side that Warrior now stood on as well.
Ignoring the debris on his armor and already away from the larger chunks, Scarface now looks to Warrior, the Navi standing between he and the tectonic fissure. Remaining silent for a moment and locking eyes, he simply charges forward, taking off at a dead run and quickly raising to a dash. In a moment, he closes the gap between himself and Warrior entirely, the light of his lance illuminating his black executioner's mask as he draws deadly close.... and then vanishes. With little more than a momentary after-image, Scarface disappears entirely and re-appears on the other side of the hole instantly, having litteraly ignored Warrior again even after the show of raw power that the energy knight could not possibly shrug off.
As Scarface appears from nothingness, his lance already spins to the point of appearing as if it were a giant, blue disk of light. Bright blue sparks crack across the blade with cascading bolts as he quickly thrusts his blade to the side and reaches his open hand toward Genesis; the blue gem affixed to his palm now glowing solid white. Without a word, Scarface releases a set of seemingly random sweeping beams from this jewel that electrify all that they touch and send lines of explosions tearing across the ground and buildings.

Sandstorm, noticing that he was without adequate support, followed the example of the other two and left.
