That stone proved to be rather... pointless. Perhaps there was something about it worth taking another look, though? But Remnant was no scientist of any sort. Still-- no point in just leaving the black substance behind.
Remnant grabbed one of the nearby, smaller flower pots and emptied its contents onto the floor. Using the small empty pot, he scooped up a little of the stuff. He found a bag nearby to carry it in, but was careful not to spill the pot while in dangled in the bag.
Embera headed back to the mansion. Most would probably follow her, but Remnant had a better idea. Exiting the greenhouse, he made his way to the pond in the back, and decided it'd probably be best to check that forrest back there, rather than stick with the crowd.
In the mine, Warrior paid little to no attention to those crystals. They were kind of worthless, but they probably gave evidence that they were getting closer to a nice treasure. If indeed the treasure was still there.
Explosions were heard up ahead.
"... Clearly we're not alone in here..."
Some one else must have beaten them into the mine. But atleast they didn't seem too far ahead. With all intention of "catching up", Warrior cranked the speed of the mine cart by leaning forward and swinging that little lever thingy on it back and forth. He didn't go too fast, though. Not telling if there was a sharp curve ahead-- and it would suck pretty badly to bite one of those on a mine cart moving too quickly.

(You hooligans and your only 'ooc' posts. Stop that. >.>)
Xeel: This is great an all, but where's mah treasa? Xeel muttered to herself with a southern slur. Her eyes glancing everywhere but in front of her as she now leisurely walked about the inky darkness gazing at the now 'out of this world' appearance of this section of the library.. alone, or so she thought.
Just as Megami had been left to her own thoughts in silence Xeel bumped into her, knocking the silent avatar and the stealthy bandit over on opposite sides. Xeel curled from the shock of the blow into a roll and resumed a pouncing position with two small Kunai in her left hand.
Xeel: Who're you 'n why're you here!? Xeel spat the words half startled, half threatening.
(Spellcheck says 'why're' isn't a word.. hrm. Posting is busy work when you're tryin to drum up what to do)

Aluminum carried on in his search in the underground darkness. The strange noises continued, but he brushed them off. It wasn't until he started hearing soft *thuds* behind him did he start to quicken his pace. He swore he even heard slight breathing for a little while. He quickly reeled around, only to see nothing. Officially creeped out, he turned to the path he was on and continued his journey.
Like the others, Namkcab knew not what the substance was. He presumed it was oil, but who could know at the time? He used his ice prowess to craft an icy dial and filled it to the brim with the substance, then crimped the top. He carried on to his second place, the library, hoping it was going to be quieter, even though he saw Warrior start to head in that direction. Namkcab kept his pace- no need to draw attention to himself.
Amethyst was getting very annoyed by the noises, her ear were very sensitive to loud sounds. She decided to let her secret out, no matter how scared either of her male companions got. Slowly, she shrank in size, while at the same time, soft dark purple fur sprouted from her body. Eventually, her tansformation was complete. She smiled at Sorrow and Warrior. Screeching, she winged off to find the sources of the noises. Along her way, many bats were also cringing at the noises, and she communicated with them in their quant bat-speech. Eventually, she had with her a small band of six bats, and they flew of in search of the other navis.

Drawing nearer to the source of the noise, the area became MUCH brighter than before. Light reflected off of the crystals embedded into the walls until they found the source of the noise. Wielding a large firearm of some sort, the lab-coated navi from the banquet was blasting out the wall where a very large white crystal had just fallen out of the wall. A dark blue and black navi was next to him, strange symbols and sorts covered all over his body, some seemed to glow a light purple, but a second take would fool the eyes.
????: If these bats start swarming again, I'll shoot them all down.
The one next to him began dragging the crystal from some kind of chain that extended from his wrist, no clear source from where it came from was evident, but he was dragging the crystal as if it was weightless.
You think I care? We got this thing, casualties won't really be a hassle.
Within the library loud footsteps echoed through the area and soon enough, those in the library would see the source of this noise. That gold robed navi ran straight in their general direction but passed them as he leaped onto the bookshelf and ran forward into the darker area of the library, leaping from shelf to shelf.
Within the forest however there was a rather paved way, signs posted showing where to go, but should one follow them, they would be lead to another mansion....

“As I wake her voice whispers to me sweetly; The fondest favor of love that only the world could ask,” _______________________________ Megami had been pondering for quite some time now as even Xenneth browed through his P.E.T looking for information. Pretty soon, he had assumed the usual position when he was confused: head down on the desk, hands upon on top of his dome, and lips in that wrinkled discomforted way that made him feel completely useless at the time. He had felt like simply throwing in the town and admitting defeat, but as usual, he knew that Megami would pull up some kind of interesting point. However, even if so, he could not see what she could say to counter his argument…
Everyone had been around the mansion most likely, and it seemed like there were a lot of fighters around rather than treasure hunters. Megami was not one of them: the fighters. She did not have some sort of need to engage into combat, but she did have all the right intentions in mind. What did that then say about him? Rolling his eyes in a disgusted manner, purely at himself, he had picked up his head and laid his hands flat upon the desktop. His thumbs went to his P.E.T as he looked at the ponder Megami who had lifted her head and returned a gaze to the darkened corridors for the library.
“D-don‘t worry, Megami-chan!” Xenneth had tried to assure with his half-hearted voice, “I‘m sure we‘ll come up with some sort of-”
“Ah!”
Xenneth had stopped in his words hearing the shrill yelp and grasped his P.E.T so tightly he swore it could have broken. “Megami-chan?!” his cry had made it through the transmission, and his eyes went to the screen as the NetNavi had been turned around from her thinking position and stood staring at something with a weary sight. Xenneth had switched his P.E.T’s display from third person to first just to get a glimpse of things through her eyes.
"Who're you 'n why're you here!?"
To her surprise, it was a NetNavi. It seemed to be arm and ready, and in a defensive position. It was opposed to Megami’s position as she stood there with her head tilting to the side, legs straight, and retaining the usual ladylike position. She did not seem ready for a counter attack or to even go on the initiative, and as her right index drew to the edge of her lip, she could plainly express confusion. The female NetNavi had mused with her lips a lowly hum that was in a confused tone.
“Umm…I‘m Megami,” she had simply answered, “…and I‘m here to find the treasure in this house and return it to the owner before something bad happens to it!”
She had exclaimed it cheerily, slamming her curled right hand into her palm showing her resolve. She seemed so set upon her goal as she cast a confident gaze towards the figure. For a first meeting, one would think she was a child with the way she answered so openly to a stranger. Xenneth certainly sure did as he looked on and sighed at the clueless Megami who probably forgot by now that the other guests of the house could not be trusted so easily. She was a naïve one, very naïve! Then again, it was one of her best qualities on a good day.
As if there was not another moment or further need to answered the NetNavi armed with dangerous sharp weapons in his hand and ready to strike, Megami had put back on a questionable and curious face and started to ponder once more as if she was the only person in the room. Xenneth wanted to do the same, but for the life of him, he could not ignore the other NetNavi so easily since Megami had the mind span of a preschool child who thought of the present and nothing else.
*SWOOSH!!!*
“Oh!” Megami’s dress had flung to the side as a tailwind followed the stranger who had breezed by. She had gasped as she looked with a swift turn towards the cloaked NetNavi that had begun to go towards the darkness of the library. Xenneth had gasped as he looked towards the still Megami, and even more so, had realized something with a quick flash through his mind.
“Megam-chan! That‘s the NetNavi we were trying to beat to the treasure!” Xenneth had said causing Megami to draw breath in shock.
“Oh no! We can‘t let him steal the treasure! We have to stop him Xenneth!” she had called out taking a couple of steps in a quick bound. However, she stopped in place and turned towards the armed NetNavi and bowed her head in a formal manner. “E-excuse me! I must get going!”
Before another word could be said, there was a beat of open pure white wings. A small amount of feathers had shed, much smaller than those that made up the bundle of fluff that was the female’s wings and with a single beat, she had wisped herself into the air and begun to leap from top to top upon the bookshelves following on the trail of the NetNavi. The balance and the speed of her pure white wings were just what she needed to keep up, and flocking forth, she had attempted to catch up to the NetNavi without a single thought of where she was going. _______________________________ “Smiling, remember hearing you say; Will you please be my hero for today?” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Meet Me Halfway“ (Instrumental) by Black Eyed PeasIC Attire: Sky Blue GraceChatty Ditz: -----

(I caught that 'his' there! Xeel is a girl! Haha)
Xeel: Err.. ok. Xeel sputtered the words quietly, thinking to herself how clumsy she is for having been spotted. The girl seemed fairly.. childish with her goal though. Who would give the treasure back, house rules are finders keepers.
Xeel: You DO know the name of the ga- Her words cut off by the swish of a passerby, running by two at a brisk speed, its gold cloak fluttering in the wind behind him. the figure darted off onto the shelf and racing into the darkness.. and actually moving.
She turned her head back to Megami, who was chasing after the figure, white wings now grafted to her back as she danced from shelf to shelf..
... So she just assumes he's afta the treasa too? Xeel tapped the tip of her shoe into the soft floor before deciding amongst herself to leave those two to fight over the 'treasure'. She would just pick off the winner, or better yet, take it right out from under their noses~
Xeel front flipped up onto the shelf, and with subtle grace, but electrified speed, began chasing the two, while oddly enough making no noise as she went.

Amethyst and her newfound band of bats shielded their eyes from the bright, piercing lights. They danced on the crystals, but not a single one of them focused on the crystals. Stealthily, they overheard every word....and explosion, unfortunately....that was muttered. Her eyes were hard, and she and her band flew off quietly back to their cart, where she sank her teeth in all of the bats, swiftly turning them into vampires. It was then that she noticed- only five were with her. W-what? Where's the last one??" A gunshot answered her.
Stone faced, she told Warrior and Sorrow everything she and the others overheard, and to proceed quietly and with extreme caution. "I know not the exact measure of their strengths, but one was able to lug around a giant crystal as if it was air!" She proclaimed. Her bat-followers eyed the two navis with Amethyst curiously, especially Sorrow. One even hopped over to him and perched on his shoulder.
((OOC: Sorry encore! XD))
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Namkcab ambled into the library just as the golden-garbed navi flew by him. He recalled the warnings set by Li, but even one like himself could not resist. He shot down an ice wave and ice surfed at an incredible speed just to keep up with the navi. Slowly he cut down the distance between the two, and eventually he was only a few yards away from the theif. He had to swerve multiple times to avoid bookcases and stacks of books. Eventually Namkcab looked back to see other navis in here. His first thought was that one of them lost to the navi, and he felt he should at least try to help. Leaving the chase, Namkcab ice-surfed back over to Xeel and Megami, greeting them and asking if they had fallen victim to the robber.

Warrior brought the mine kart to a complete stop. He left his bag in the kart, but took his sword and got out. They hadn't reached the other two people in the mine yet, but they were probably pretty close. He kept quiet so that if they were just up ahead, they wouldn't hear him. Before he continued on foot, he turned to Amethyst, Sorrow, and the other bat vampire things.
" I'll go ahead on foot and check the scene out. If you wanna come to, than feel free, but don't expect things to be very... calm..."
Warrior took a couple sticks of dynamite out of the bag and carried them on his waste, while his massive sword hung on his back, freeing his hands of anything.
" Or. I can keep these guys busy while you two head deeper into the mine. Don't get too far though, because if you find some more treasure down there, I wanna part of it."
And if they didn't like that idea, Warrior would cave them in with those sticks of dynamite he just grabbed. They didn't seem like the greedy type, though. Well, maybe Sorrow... And Amethyst... The other vampire things, Warrior didn't even care for.
Walking ahead in the mine and around the corner, Warrior easily found the two diggers that Amethyst had mentioned. He eyed the massive crystal-- and massive was quite the understatement for that rock.
"... Treasure?"
Warrior walked closer to the guy with the giant crystal to get a better look at it. Yeah. It was definitely real (Duh >_>).
"... How much would you say this is worth?"
Short sentences. Straight to the point questions. And a giant sword dangling on his back. It should've been clear that Warrior's motives weren't to share this giant prize. Regardless of who found it.
((He'd been in sort of a bad mood since he'd gotten to this mansion, and quite frankly he wasn't the most generous of sorts while in this kind of mood. He clearly had something agitating his mind, but he hadn't given a hint as to what it was yet.))
_______________________________
A second mansion? A presumable location for a treasure? Who knows-- but it's the route no one else had taken. And this certainly wasn't visible on the map. Perhaps it was worth investigating?
Of course it was. Making his way to the front gates, Remnant kept a keen eye on anything suspicious, or anything relative to this mansion with the last. He had a strange feeling that they were probably connected somehow... but there was no way to find out until he investigated a little more and until he actually went inside.

The navi dragging the crystal moved past Warrior and walked his way with the other navi, the dark blue one speaking as they walked to the other end of the mine.
You wouldn't know, even if I told you.
The gold robed navi landed on a jet black marble floor, indicating the "End" of the library, and the start of something else. Moving forward at a walking pace, he made his way to a series of pedestals, all arranged in a row. Each pedestal had a book on it, and then a dial next to them.
Oddly enough the door to the mansion was open. Within it no one really seemed to have been there for a while, as the dust was quite thick within it.

“As I wake her voice whispers to me sweetly; The fondest favor of love that only the world could ask,” _______________________________ Pure white met a dim and foreboding black…
So was the few feathers that fallen from Megami’s wings as she whispered herself forth as she pursued the NetNavi in the gold robe. Upon her arrival, she had opened her pure white wings like a chute and glided gracefully to the ground as she touched down toe first. Aside with the grace, her eyes had a serious gaze cast upon her feet as she could see her polished reflection on the marble slabs and she lifted her head only to let a glorious burst of light explode from her back as the feathers faded.
“Please, stop at once!” Megami had chanted.
Her voice had rung through the space and she had not given much of any more speech as she sat silently waiting for the NetNavi to comply. She was being nice, liberal as her nature, seeing she had not given into the distorted impression that this NetNavi was one of the said “thieves.” It could have very well been someone who was also justified but on another note, this person could have been equally corrupt. She was not one to take in impressions, opinions, and one-sided views. It was not the way of someone that was pure of heart, not that of a “Goddess.” So she halted her judgment and simply let her sandals make echoing tabs that come from her steps.
“Who are you and what are you doing here?” she had asked so kindly.
Although she had begun to ask those questions, her mind had pondered off to what was around her; the books with the dials by them, and this area that was so ominous. Even as she made a swaggering step forth from her uncoordinated steps caused by her wondering mind, she could not help but to try to decipher the mystery of this Mansion. Treasure, jewels, and riches were such unfamiliar terms and values to Megami and had no greater value than another life and intention. Thus all her focus was placed on this NetNavi and their “ideas” for what they were doing in this strange space.
All the while she had this naïve nature in full swing, it only made Xenneth feel all the more uneasy as he looked on towards the strange area, sealing his lips as he swallowed deeply. A familiar feeling overcoming him as he seen his friend in such an ominous place: the feeling of helplessness.

A small clicking noise was heard as the navi turned the dial on one of the stands. When he heard someone call out to him, he turned his head, and then completely faced whoever this person was. After getting a good look at the "Incoming crowd" he turned back around and began to turn the dials on each of the pedestals.
What does it look like, LITTLE girl?

“As I wake, her voice whispers to me sweetly; The fondest favor of love that only the world could ask,” _______________________________ As Megami had fallen silent, she had only looked on towards the NetNavi who faced her for a moment. It did not last long, nor did she even bother to press the same question. She did however, watch silently as he turned the dials with Xenneth looking on through the eyes of a confounded Megami.
What does it look like, LITTLE girl?
Rather than answer the question straight forwardly, he said just that. At an instant, Megami had simply let her left hand bridge at her torso while her elbow rested upon the cross of her limb. She had simply watched with a puzzled expression while musing with a delicate sound that, as he implied little girl, would do when watching some kind of older more authority figure within their presence. After a moment of time, she had unfolded her arms in a decisive huff and then placed them upon her hips after c coming to one stout conclusion.
“I’m not sure…” Megami had answered before clasping her hands together blissfully with a warm and innocent smile, “…can you perhaps tell me?”
Xenneth resisted the urge to fall out his church at the computer desk.
Megami’s naïve and ignorant manners were legendary! Any NetNavi who had not seen the “Goddess” would right away notice that she was anything but “caught up” in slang, smart aleck comments, or any kind of insult. It all bounced off that wall of perfection that was built into her programming the moment she had been born, which was precisely months ago earlier. Even now, she had shown the usual signs of cluelessness, faltering comprehension, and understanding of human nature that produced a dark essence of negative emotions of either hate or despair. It was something Xen dreaded at times when it came to her trying to catch up with society, but at the same time, respected seeing she had the eyes that seen the light of the world and not the dark most of the time.
…but even she had some buttons that surprised him when they were pushed, and such crude comments were not one of them.
“Megami-chan! Try to figure it out, Xenneth had thought to himself, trying to resist the urge to not open his mouth seeing upon Megami’s request, he did opt to use the private channel for the sake of keeping himself safe. “This isn’t a good person! You need to try to figure out what he’s doing before he steals the treasure from this place!” he had thought. The young boy could look on from his P.E.T and only make such biased thoughts of the figure based on the appearance. He was a paranoid young boy after all, and when he had a bad feeling, he had jumped on it as if it was a life and death situation.
He only hoped his instincts were wrong opposed to the oblivious Megami who seemed to try to make reasonable and non-subjective approach to the situation.

A pair of bright green wisps of energy came from under the hood of this treasure seeker's hood. He faced one and then the other, and then strangely the ceiling. Given that, he stepped backwards behind the stands and began to slowly walk backwards until he just sank into the ground, leaving behind only a slight ripple on the ground.
The pair left the mine and were heading into the foyer to leave the house, crystal dragged behind in their wake.

“As I wake, her voice whispers to me sweetly; The fondest favor of love that only the world could ask,” _______________________________ Xenneth had looked on as a small green light had made a glow upon his P.E.T, the very same green light that Megami seen with her wide eyes as the green wisps had made their appearance. She had not followed the gestures of his head, but more than intently stare at this ominous figure who had said nothing in return to her question. She had started to grow suspicious of his activity, thinking that perhaps he was up to no good, but only because he had been silent and so rude not to answer her. Her denial had given him the benefit of the doubt, but the earlier assumptions of him being a treasure hunter looking to thieve had made her imply her inescapable paranoia that truly he was up to no good.
He had begun to walk…
It was not too sudden, but it was enough to make Megami stand and stare with a serious gaze. She had taken a step forward just he had taken one back, and then his stature had begun to shrink, more and more. She had gasped lowly in such a slow breath that it could be a labored breath, like one before a heart attack, but right away she had came to her senses, calmed her heart, and looked to his body that sunk into the strange floor and then watched as he vanished leaving the strange distorted space upon the floor.
“Ah! He‘s escaping!”
Xenneth had cried aloud as Megami had gasped hearing the boy’s statement. However, it was too late, and the figure had already vanished. It only left Megami to quickly gather her breath and race forth as she stood upon the edge of the distorted floor of where the NetNavi sank and looked at the strange motioning floor as if she was gazing into a puddle of water. How it reflected her face, the polished tiles whether disturbed or not, made it seem like it as the Goddess kneeled to the edge. Her legs had straightened as she corrected her posture and she swept her fingers through her chestnut brown hair seeing the distorted flooring. She had lifted a foot presumably giving away the thought she had behind her next action…
“W-wait a minute!” Xenneth had interrupted, “Y-you‘re not seriously about to try to put your foot in it! You don‘t know what would happen!” he had spoke as Megami had turned her expression to a displayed square space that shown itself. With a flicker, caused by the interference of the distorted and strange library’s space, she could see the video screen of the worried violet haired child who had that hysterical unsure expression upon his face. As usual, it made Megami smile seeing how his heart would make him think so fully of another, but as usual, it was missing that “other” belief.
“Gomen, Xen-kun,” she had said tenderly, “But we are to finish this mission together. Surely, we can not allow for that NetNavi to leave this place with that treasure which does not rightfully belong to him. Who knows what he would do? It‘s so unjust…”
Megami had placed her foot down as she had spoke explaining herself, her actions, and her motive. She was not a heroine, nor an angel, not even the “Goddess” everyone had referred her to be just because of delicate form, beautiful look, and powers that that came from purity. She was another naïve personality, a NetNavi and barely a good one seeing she had not the logical mind to think things through whether as a program or as some person. She took unnecessary risks like now and spoke from a mysterious and humane logic like now. She was flawed to perfection, they may have said in the laboratories, but that was good enough for the young violet haired boy. It was always enough to simply just have a friend.
“We were going to see this through, yes?” she had reprieved those words that he always regretted saying within the heart of the moment, “I have a strong feeling that we will succeed whatever danger comes our way as NetNavi and very skilled NetOp.”
She had given him too much credit, as usual, and he had become stunned by those words. She had been a sneaky shrew in his opinion, often thinking she had said such things to get his attention and to stun him. Every time she said something highly of him, something that threw off his train of thought, she would take the next moment and make some sort of impulsive action with or without his agreement…which he realized, and by then, he gasped seeing Megami’s foot lift and touch down upon the distorted space to trigger the next happening.
“W-wait a minute!”
He had shouted, but it was too late as Megami had went onto the distorted floor expecting “something” to happen.
