((OOC: Warrior: It's against Xenneth and Megami's character. That's my reason.
@shast: Be careful of how you're posting. There was a thin line you danced on between "Magic" and "Meta." Your post was vague to me and you describing Megami's position and movements is all over the place and not in chronological order, or at least when I read it. Like I said, it's very vague.))

((OOC: Also Warrior, the true reason is because each coin has its own penalty it inflicts on the person who steals it. Like, One may burn you, freeze you, shock you, blind you, shove a multitude of tacos down your throat, etc. Hope I helped! ^_^ ))

In the library, those there would notice that the ceiling was very, very high up, several stories in fact. The balconies lead all the way up to a skylight where a large amount of light could get in and illuminate the area, since there seemed to be no additional lightning elements in the place. Railed balconies lined the higher walls, bookcases on the outer-inside walls, more books there. Most of the books were stacked up properly, some old looking, and some new. However, every once in a while you could see a book down on its spine in the bookshelf, no particular order or reason. Each bookshelf had a wheel like device that could make the bookshelf move so that there would be room for each shelf to be fully moved. Upon going even further into the library, a large rug in the carpeted area had upon it a large table with books on and around it, however there were a few open ones and a large metal cart with food upon it. There were no footprints on the rug or impressions made by the table or the cart: a sign of it recently being added there. In a chair near the table, there was a large black codex labeled "Index", diamond encrusted lettering, and gold upon the spine and cover of the book. The pages of the book seemed to be made of paper, but upon closer inspection, they were actually made of various jewels, lettering etched into them carefully. However beyond this area, the bookshelves seemed a little older, and the carpet more dingy, almost fading into black.
The recreational area's supply shed was unlocked, as well as the gates to the tennis court, however there was also something interesting, an elevator next to the door that lead back into the mansion.
Within the kitchen, there were no staff members preset, but everything was put up and away. Things that could be turned on were off. The freezer though in particular was a walk-in freezer. The light within was off and there was a window that let you see into it. There were shelves and supplies in it as there were also in the pantry adjacent from it.
A large black, oval stone sat sticking out of the ground in the greenhouse, a trail of ruined earth showing where it slid upon impact. The door to the greenhouse was locked, but there was... an easier more obvious way in. The garden however remained unchanged, flowers behind iron railings. There was however a pond beyond the garden which was attached to the forest that lead to elsewhere.
Those who ventured into the cave would soon realize that they were heading into a rather LARGE underground mine. Mineshaft tracks were organized upon the ground and the lighting, which was rather abundant for an underground area made the place seem like it was out in the daylight. Mining axes, chisels, jackhammers and explosives were available everywhere. The explosives for safety reasons inside sealed boxes.

“As I wake her voice whispers to me sweetly; The fondest favor of love that only the world could ask,” _______________________________ “Nothing…”
Megami had said lowly after putting her foot back into the door of the library. There was clearly nothing in the halls as she felt her way all around the area about the doors. There was no extra room, no button, or no door. She could not, for the life of her, figure out what room near the Library was supposed to be there, and with a sigh and feeling of failure, she flopped into the seat and let her hands tug at the edges of the blue dress while she closed her eyes away from the sight of the library.
“We‘re never going to find that treasure,” Xenneth had stated in worry, “At this rate, it‘ll be stolen and that NetNavi will get away with it.”
Megami had hated to hear him with that voice. Opening her eyes and gazing wearily at her surroundings, she stood up once more with her soft, skinny little fingers curling enough to almost make the golden bands upon them snap if she had the strength. Her head nodded as her eyes opened, picking up, she had gazed on forth with a serious gaze and let her open palms come to her angelically curved hips and she slumped her posture to the right seeming to have a tone of confidence in her body movements.
“We‘ll just have to try harder, Xen-kun.” the Goddess had said, “If we are to find that treasure and keep it from being stolen, that means we‘ll have to think better and work much harder at trying to figure out the secrets of this strange place. We can do it, right?”
Before Xenneth could even give a reply, as lowly and unsure as it sounded, Megami had already been walking around in the Library she practically ignored once before. Her bundled chestnut brown hair swayed from the root of the scrunch that collected it, and dropped even lower in length as Megami’s eyes had gone skyward. Where there should have been a ceiling was an upper section as vast as the sky. There was perches and railings that almost seemed to suggest that there was someone watching from above over her. If there was, she would have said a prater for hopes sake to help her figure out this place.
The light from the balcony windows cascaded into the area as glistening falls would from an undisturbed cliff of a tropical forest. Even the remnants of light had such high quality purity as they shone through the glass of the windows, and the eyes of Megami had caught the light making the blue color shine so bright within her jeweled irises that came to life. She had to stop and pushed herself off the nearest bookshelf, one that drew close as she walked forth in a hypnotic daze looking about the vastness of the library. The wood of the shelf had become slightly dusty and lacked its smoothness because of the wearing scars of time.
After a single push, there was a motion of the shelf that made it shift slightly as Megami had been shocked by the finding. It was either it came to life or it was the work of some nonsense magic beyond possibility considering this was a world of “Logic” as said by the coding of zero and ones, but after another push and gazing at the base of the shelf, she had her explanation. It was “Logic” that won favor of course, and Megami took full advantage pushing one dusty shelf, then the next, then the other.
Round, round, round the shelves would go! Pushing ‘em away and sweeping them across the library’s floor to and fro. They had less meaning than paper bags caught into turbulent new winds. They were disposable to the hunt seeing none of them provided Megami with an appropriate answer as she shoved one by one aside and journeyed into the more darker places of the library corridors.
It had taken a while until she came to the center; her feet touching down on the gentle carpet’s texture. She had grinded a heel on it, ignorant that she was brushing the sole of her shoes on pure woven cotton brush. She had however continued amongst the patterns as would a child on those kindergarten mats: A, B, C or rather, Red, Gold, Red, as the colors portrayed as she walked upon it unknowingly. Her attention was more on the center piece that was the table littered and randomized with so many tomes that she had admired before. Some of them closed as she stroked the hard covers and blew on the dusty surfaces before reading and then sitting them aside, and others were pages were ripped in a jagged fashion from the seams. She would stroke her fingers along one of the lines reading in her mind just as Xenneth read seeing through the first person view of the P.E.T, and then tossed them aside.
Inquisitive was the word for the non-Earthly Goddess. She had not even noticed the hints of the newly added items. She was more interested in catering to her five senses. The sights, the sounds, and even the smells as she had taken a single chili dog from the food cart, sniffed at it closely at her nose getting a smudge upon the tip of her perfectly sculpted tip. She swept her right finger across the tip getting the remnant of the sauce and then sticking it between her curved luscious lips.
“Mmmm!~”
Megami had resisted temptation as well as aroused another point of curiosity as she sat down the morsel of food and taken closer inspection of what was the open chair and a strange book that was different from the others. It seemed to sparkle and glisten within the cascading light, just like the lone gem she found in the hall that lead her here. It was beautiful, just like that gem. It drew her in close and she touched it, just like that very same gem. She had stroked her hand touching the smooth texture and dragged her fingers across the golden spin, and then opened it reading the “Index,” as the book’s title described, and looked to see about the material.
“My goodness!” Xenneth had gasped, “This isn‘t like any book I‘ve seen!”
“You‘re right,” Megami said not knowing if she could agree more, “Such beautiful texture!”
The young woman did not know the value of jewels, dollars, and bartering notes; but she was drawn in by beautiful sights, sounds, and pleasant tastes to the tongue. She had not been an addict to them as she held no value to a certain “treasure” she could define in mind, so she had absolutely no problem looking at the book one moment, and then the next closing it shut and then staring at it as she looked on.
“This is just like the jewel we found in the hall,” Megami had spoke, “Perhaps this too is a hint to the treasure?” She had spoke elegantly making Xenneth sit back hesitantly. His arms crossed, his eyes closed and weary of the young woman’s prediction.
“Then we can keep it on hand for now,” Xenneth had furthere said, “Maybe it‘ll help us down the line. If it goes with the rest of the treasure, like the gem, then we can put it back and return it to who it belongs to.” The boy had suggested.
Megami had nodded, following that logic. However, as she had looked around the library and all the light that traveled about, she had been drawn to one place in particular, the darkness. The old and worn areas of the library that seemed to be more dingy and dusty as she had begun to pace her feet amongst the red and gold carpeting until it faded into an ominous black. She peered down the path, opened her lips slightly parting, she dreadfully suggested…
“Maybe…we should go this way, Xenneth?”
He was hesitant to answer, and Megami was not so stalled to step. She had begun to proceed into the darkest part of the library, drawn in by her determination and curiosity once more as she walked along and proceeded between the worn bookshelves. It felt like she was entering the side of the library's area where death had visited. _______________________________ “Smiling, remember hearing you say; Will you please be my hero for today?” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Meet Me Halfway“ (Instrumental) by Black Eyed PeasIC Attire: Sky Blue GraceChatty Ditz: -----

*Embera approached the window of the greenhouse and noticed the large black rock. She could see the locked door, and the giant hole in the roof. Creating a giant lance with her fire, she ran at the wall and pole-vaulted herself up and in, facing the rock.*
Embera: Hmm,this seems way to big and worthless to be treasure...There's gotta be something more...
*Embera tapped the rock, hoping it concealed something. It sounded pretty solid, but she thought she heard a small bit of hollowness. Encasing her fists in hardened lava, Embera started swinging, hoping to break the rock into pieces, hoping there was something of value inside.*

Finally at the cave, Warrior seemed a bit indecisive whether to keep going down there or not. It looked like a pretty deep cavern, and if somebody were to hide a treasure in a mansion, why in God's name would they put it in such an obvious place?
But then again, perhaps not all treasure is silver and gold. And he already had a navi or two following him, so there was no point in turning back now. It seemed only Amethyst and Sorrow had come. Interesting-- to say the least.
" Well. Better gear up before going in there."
Grabbing a potato-sack looking bag, Warrior loaded it up with explosives as he made his way to a mine cart. He grabbed a mining axe, chisel, and jack hammer as well-- and he put an additional spare of each into the bag. Better safe than sorry, no?
That massive sword of his -- 'Faith' -- kind of scrapped the mine cart as he got into it, while it hung on his back. The bag of supplies sat at his feet while he held the 'door' of the cart open for the other two.
"Coming?"

Yay. Someone else to protect Sorrow from the bats. Being a gentleman, Sorrow gestured to Amethst to get in.
Sorrow: Ladies first. Especially the pretty ones.
And so, Amethyst was left with the choice of going with a bit of extra company, or enter with just Sorrow in the party.
(That ending was just plain horrible... please forgive me ;) )

((OOC: Lol. Encore, ya know Amethyst's a vampire, right? You know what vampires turn into, right?- Bats. This'll be a load of fun!!))
Amethyst walked on with Sorrow into the dark cave. This is much more like it. She walked right into the mine car, thanking both Warrior and Sorrow. "Oh my, I must have forgotten my supplies. Sorrow, would you be a dear and pack a bag for me?" Amethyst wooed. Afterall, items like that are icky and heavy, and she had others who would help her. ((OOC: Sorry, that's just Ame's character. XD))
"Ha! Y'all aint got NOTHIN' on me!" Aluminum jeered during his game. He saw another navi and launched his ball at him, only to have that ball miss and hit the elevator button. Slowly the doors openend, and Aluminum slowly walked towards it. He peered inside, "Huh...I wonder where this leads. Maybe to treasure!!" Aluminum hopped inside and closed the door, while at the same time pressing the lowest basement button.
During his ride down he heard strange noises, but he paid no heed to them, afterall, this elevator was probably a bajillion years old. Eventually the elevator doors opened again, and Aluminum trekked out into a long dark hallway, "Huh, pretty dark in here." At that he generated light from his body, so he acted as a flashlight and walked down the hallway.
Namkcab followed Embera, but instead of vaulting, he merely generated a staircase up the wall and spoke to Embera, "Pleh deen?" He then iced over the area she punched, knowing that the ice would melt, and maybe weaken the rock in some way. He then took a position opposite her and started punching with an enlargened fist.

[bgcolor=black](Hard to be in 'chronological order' in terms of posts because you went from one area, to another, and then through another all in one post. In that time frame Xeel could have easily been in the library doing whatever considering that's where she went to first(Xeel does her movements kinda fast.. it's why she's elec and not say, blade >.>) from the dining room; as you went to your room, and then spent time in the 'coin room' as well before making the treck to the library.
Just because it's your post doesn't mean time is frozen for the rest of us if that were true RP fights would be dull as dirt with no dodging/parries at all.. :I)
I don't see how it's 'all over the place' either. She went in, stood there talking to her OP, and then left, unless you were vague as well and did things too.
So, you want I should simply tell you at what point in time I'm doing my stuff as compared to your actions till we/if we meet up?
----
Xeel had continued to fidget around inside the cleverly hidden room, subtly but at a brisk pace to scour the room for any more relics that could be of worth to someone. Although there were nicer looking books, a quick skim of some books revealed them to be just older editions of well known books.
Frowning coyly at the room, Xeel deduced that with nothing of any real value she could easily slip into her packs she would abandon the room do darkness once more. Her fingers ran complex operations once more around the door, unlocking it with a kchink!. Once free to leave the room Xeel closed the door, leaving it unlocked but not ajar.
Folding her arms acrossed her chest Xeel overlooked the inner library, the light shining down from above illuminating the night invisible digital dust that permeated the library's confines. She glanced further into the library, taking in a new perspective of the vast expanse from the one she had when she had entered the library at first.
'Leave no place unexplored' rule #2 of adventuring... No matter how much of a doozy it will be.
She strode down the steps to reach the first floor, peering around the corner of the railing as she went, be careful be as quiet as possible.. the jingle of her weaponry made the feat nigh impossible, but Xeel remedied this by shoving the noisier toys in small sacks on her waist right next to a small array of tiny bronze colored bombs.
Stealthy once more Xeel moved about more swiftly, almost bouncing from row to row, scanning each row as she went for things that seemed.. out of place.. Not but moments after her excursion began she spotted something not out of the ordinary, but something she hadn't seen yet.. a book cart.
Xeel crept over to it, almost tip toeing. Reaching it she noticed behind it lurked another table, booked piled on it, too.. She must be off as to not to have noticed them earlier. The bandit investigated the table, and its paper residents, taking notice of what the missing current caretaker of the books in question had been reading.. Not so mundane things it seemed.
The slight dusty outlining of a book on the table gave Xeel the obvious impression that someone had been here recently, maybe not even minutes ago.. In times of suspicion stealth an caution can be your best friend, and abiding by these things Xeel turned her head in all directions before darting off into the darkest area she could find.. Which took her treasure hunt further into the now bleak and dark library and down one of the many rows of bookshelves that lead that way.
(zamg deeper into the library dungeon! I like where this is goin'.
oh, and for your help Xen, this is after your scurry into the dark reaches. I'ma behind you by a short bit. =p)

((My rp's have been horrible recently, haven't they >_< )
Before Amethyst could say the word Sorrow had already packed her supplies into Warrior's already heavy bag. It wouldn't be long until they would have to encounter those dreadful flying rats they call bats. The sooner they could get out of these caves the better, so Sorrow pushed the cart and jumped in.
Sorrow: Ces chauves-souris ne nous attaquons pas avec vous deux ici... non?

Warrior gave Sorrow a pretty blank look, then turned his attention to Amethyst.
" ... the heck did he just say?"
First this guy starts throwing stuff in his bag, then mummers some incomprehensible-- who was this guy? Perhaps Warrior had met him before... who knew. He (Warrior) wasn't having the best of days, though, as crap was constantly flooding and stressing his mind. Every small thing was getting on his nerves at this point, but he struggled not to show it.
As they made their way down the tunnel, Warrior made an aggravated sigh, and nodded his head while addressing to the other two the problem at hand.
" Please... Please tell me we didn't forget to bring a light..."
The tunnel grew darker and darker as they went deeper, and the mine cart didn't seem to have a light attached to it. This was... just great.
Wasn't much else for Remnant to do here but follow Namkcab into the green house. It felt kinda pointless to just watch Embera and Namkcab get to work on that rock, but there wasn't much Remnant could do otherwise. Soon as possible, he'd disband this group and go search somewhere else. A little pointless to follow the big crowd, he thought.

Amethyst thanked Finale for packing her equipement, and replied assuringly, "Qui peut dire? Les chauves-souris sont des créatures très ..... intéressant. Mais vous ne devriez pas avoir besoin de vous inquiétez pas, je ne suis rien que le long de ces lignes qui se passera.." Amethyst then turned to Warrior, "Oh, Finale simply asked if there would be a problem with the bats. But, you don't need to worry ,either."
The rickety little cart tumbled along the path, darkening, just as Warrior confirmed. As her partners' visions became impaired, Amethyst's became stronger, and she reassured her comapnions, "Lighting shouldn't be a problem. I pride myself in seeing well in darker areas." Eventually, the mine crept into an area with figures in them, and Amethyst saw that they reached a bat-infested part of the area. Her eyes met with a pair on the opposite side, and the bat smiled to her. She held a finger to her lips, signalling it to be quiet.
The bat slipped off to warn its pack to be silent as well.

Nothing happened to the black stone in the Greenhouse. It seemed nearly unbreakable until it cracked, and seemed to melt into a jelly like texture, all black with something even darker on the inside. It seeped into the ground leaving that darker substance on the ground. It too was amorphous but it wouldn't break.
Within the mine however, things got a little loud. Explosions could be heard and felt within the mine far ahead. When they got deeper into that area of the mine it became dimly lit, but there was more than enough light to see what was in front and on the sides of them. Crystals were sticking out of the walls. Not very large ones, but small ones, none of any high value though. They were of many different colors, and they all seemed to generate light.
The library however didn't have much sound to it, instead, it had...itself to it. As they crossed into the darker area of the library they found that the bookcases seemed at first to be bigger, that is until they realized they never crossed the first bookshelf, even with all the walking they did there. The space there was bended.

“As I wake her voice whispers to me sweetly; The fondest favor of love that only the world could ask,” _______________________________ She felt as if she was treading a slow walk through a stretched field.
Her hands swept left and right pressing against the imitation oak surface of the bookshelves. The polished and finished texture had touched her fingers and then with a press had glided away as they had swept across the floors on the gizmos and gadgets that enabled their easy movement. She had continued one with ease going through the library as she had been pushing the shelves aside and stepping forth into the deeper darkness, but after a while, she had stopped. Her big blue eyes lifting as she had seen a shelf fly into her direction and she had pressed against its center with its palm and stopped its movement.
“That‘s odd…”
Without another thought, she had pushed it along, looking about her surroundings and concentrating to find any auras nearby or about that she could feel that her eyes had not been able to see, but before she could even give a single thought, she had turned forth seeing another shelf move to her direction’s path. It seemed like something was there, but yet, looking around she saw no one or nothing within the darkness as she had drew breath.
“This is creepy,” Xenneth had said in light hesitance, “Something feels wrong.”
Megami could not agree more unless she opened her mouth and responded so. Simply, she walked forth and went into the distant darkness only raising her hand to press it against the tomes of the shelf, but yet, she paused as she gasped in realization. Her blue eyes shown in full as she stared at the very bookshelf before her and taken her hand off of it.
“Xenneth…I‘ve touched this Bookshelf a minute ago!” Megami had spoke alerted.
“What?! H-how is that possible? You‘ve been going straight ahead towards the next part of the library for minutes!”
“I know,” she replied, “I know. However, I‘m sure. I remember raising my hand and touching the same colored books as well as the text that appears upon the spine.”
The “Goddess” had taken her index finger, slid it along the book spines dragging from left to right. She could feel the faint aura she left around when touching or observing objects or even laying hands on a single person. Everyone had an “Aura” and it was hard to see. In Megami’s case, it was very easy for her and it went beyond just some sort of field that could be manipulated just for power and strength to repel. It could protect, be manipulated, be a very tool itself. In Megami’s case for the moment, it made a pleasant marker that assured the “Goddess” she was walking in circles.
“I‘m sure,” she had said, “This is the same bookshelf. This means that the shelves were sliding because of be giving them such a hard push out of the way and they went left continuously, which means the space is unstable ahead as well as going from left to right.”
“It‘s like an endless maze!” Xenneth had said with a frown as he thought about the location.
“But it explains things.” Megami intervened, “Maybe that scratched out space was not an ‘X,’ but maybe it was some sort of…symbol. It was probably referring to how beyond this area, there is ‘nothing‘ through here, or maybe…this area can‘t be passed through ordinary means?”
“Then…what do we do? Do we search somewhere else or do we try to figure out the mystery?”
Megami had fallen into silence, lowering her head as the bookshelves that slid had come to a slowing stop and surrounding her as if she was now lost within not only thought, but within the unstable spatial flux. _______________________________ “Smiling, remember hearing you say; Will you please be my hero for today?” ::OOC Stats::Now Listening To: ”Meet Me Halfway“ (Instrumental) by Black Eyed PeasIC Attire: Sky Blue GraceChatty Ditz: I have a large opening in my hand because of an incident at work, so, this is shorter than usual.

*Embera leaned over the strange black substance, examining it thoroughly. It looked strange, and of little value, but she could never tell anymore with these things at this mansion. Before long, she placed the black substance in a vial she had in her person.*
Embera: I'll be taking this...who knows? Could be black gold, afterall. Thank's Namkcab, I'll be on my way.
*Embera immediately incased herself in fire and smashed through the wall of the Greenhouse. Before long, she decided to journey back to the mansion. Knowing nowhere else to go, Embera decided to head to the library, in order to search for more treasure...and potentially victims to gain some MORE treasure.*
