Element City: one of many sites that suffered the bombardment from on-high, and one of the worst hit. The stately buildings act in a manner similar to dominos, as pieces of them collapsed during the attack and fell to the earth below, compounding the damage. Fire has turned out to be the dominant element to the namesake of the city, as flames have erupted across much of the area. It's also here that we find the wreckage of a tremendous ONB gunship, and the commander of that ship working tirelessly in the city alongside some less than expected faces.
Bursting from the remains of the capital building of the city, Gravity Beetle charges out from the wreckage with Navis under both arms and clenched in his massive horns. With a cough he lets them down, wiping the soot from his eyes as they run for safety.
Gravity Beetle: That's 10, how many more were on this floor?
A crystalline Navi stands before Gravity Beetle, obviously nervous of the flames yet still pushing himself to at least help the rescue force to save those who were still trapped.
FreezeMan: 15, but the other one already saved two others.
With purple armor nearly painted black, a Navi of violent Reputation lays another two Navis out on the sidewalk of the building. giving a hardened stare to Gravity Beetle, he stands and clenches his fists.
?: I'll handle them, do what you've got to do elsewhere.
Gravity Beetle nods, then makes his way towards the east wing of the building, pile-driving himself into the blocked, flaming door in order to continue his rescue efforts.
This was pointless, a waste of time and effort as a matter of fact as far as his analysis went. Even without being privy to more intimate data, there was little in his opinion to disprove that saving a few 'lucky' survivors made any significant difference. The net was still wrecked, and higher powers were still contesting somewhere else. The only question on his mind right now was whether or not they were still in the 'end game' part of the ever present and looming cycle that was life.
So why WAS he here of all places? The OEL had sent him over to help with rescue efforts and clean up. So he was scouting around for survivors. He paid the flames mostly no mind, able to move quickly enough through them that their threat was muted. He still needed a little caution for while he wasn't moving about- a floor could give way or the ceiling. But it was also harder to hear signs of life during jumps as he tracked down a couple more trapped survivors. One seemed to be trapped under something and after a quick glance, Kuwanger brought his bladed boomerang to bare by slicing through some of the rubble on them. It was now lighter and easier to move out of the way with a little help from the other survivor. Then the door exploded as his brother came blasting into the room. "When they said we'd be working together, this wasn't what I had in mind," Kuwanger deadpanned as he helped pick up the one that had been trapped under some rubble.
"How many more are we missing?" Kuwanger asked switching gears back to the task at hand. While he personally believed what they were doing was a waste of time, he didn't disagree with being sent here to help save people either. He could get places very quickly, and process sudden changes just as quickly.

Coldjoe was Skeptical as to being called in to help with the relife effort Elemental city was massive and the distruction it took was great. However he had a job and as a new Navi such as himself he had to do his part.
That part however was something he wasnt entirely sure of how to acomplish in all honestly, he had fought as a new navi in the virus hoard of 12/30/2020 alongside a fellow new navi Geoman and fought off more hostiles alongside glassman, heck he got his foot in the door with fighting evil thanks to Sierra but this this was something big and the scope of which caused him stress wanting to be able to save every last soul however even he knew this would be imposible.
so as he made his way to Element city he would be smack dab with the other navi in the relife efforts looking to a burning building he primed his regeneration skill and began to assist freezeman by useing his freezespray as a makeshift hose to freeze the structure supports to keep the place from crumbling around them as well as putting out the fires.
"Hey freezeman hows the rescue effort going sorry im late btw..."
As the relief efforts ensued, another pair of helping hands arrived, all appearing from portals nearby Freezeman.
"This is worse than I heard it was." the first of the three spoke.
"It's interesting that Glassman's Operator sent word to us also. I wonder if Glassman..." a blue, sword-bearing navi thought aloud, trailing off a bit.
A ruby-red gloved hand patted him on the shoulder, a reassuring gesture for sure.
"I'm sure he has his reasons. If anything, putting out fires might be more our field than his."
A slight glance from the third in their entourage made her partially realize the slight error in her statement - both Fiera and Glassman more or less specialized in the use of fire, so they weren't that much different.
"Anyway, we can talk about all of that later. This place needs a lot of help." the 'Midnight Thunder Lady' spoke [ a moniker she had pretty much given herself].
All three nodded to each other and proceeded together...at least that was the initial thought. Instead, Doomistra grabbed them both and directed their attention to someone who seemed to be overseeing the whole operation.
Doomistra led them over to Freezeman to inquire about lending a hand in quelling the remains of Element City.
"Excuse us. Are you the one in charge here? We've just arrived to lend a helping hand in the relief efforts here." Doomistra stated, gesturing to Riclice and Fiera, who nodded in agreement.
Gravity Beetle was obviously surprised to see Boomer Kuwanger make the scene, but has no time for a reunion. Instead, he responds to the space-time jumper with directions, and nothing more.
Gravity Beetle: I'm glad that you're here. Twelve that we're aware of in this branch, and we've got to hurry! The main building is evacuated, but it's going to come down soon. I'm on my way over there to start a controlled implosion so that it doesn't take out everything around it, but this building will go down in the fire. You don't have long, but I need you to get as many to safety as you can! You can download the map data for the building here, it will help out in the search.
Gravity Beetle doesn't wait for Boomer Kuwanger's response, instead barreling into the main lobby of the building to get started on his mission.
FreezeMan is looking on, obviously worried, as the rescue force funnels their way into the east wing of the Element City capitol building while Coldjoe speaks, followed by Doomistra's questions.
FreezeMan: We're running out of time. If you can, please help search the east wing before everyone inside is lost..
FreezeMan pauses for a moment and looks towards the entrance to the lobby. He obviously wants to go, but is held back at the same time.
FreezeMan: I'm a liability. Despite the fact that Ice can douse fire in a manner similar to water, my structure would render me useless in no time. Please, help them before it's too late! The lobby has map data, that should give you an idea as to where the lost Navis may be!
Inside of the building, there are at least 12 lost Navis.
The building is divided into a 9x4 grid. Each square on the grid houses a room, and each room has a pre-determined set of doors leading to other rooms. Not all rooms connect to all adjacent rooms!
Each turn, players are allowed to move from one room into one adjacent room that has an entrance. They will then be told if the room has any additional doors via cardinal directions (north, south, east, or west)
Entering a room that contains one or more Navis will automatically rescue them. On the turn that they are encountered, the player is allowed to optionally ask them one question.
Players may also be able to salvage data from different points on the map. Returning this data to FreezeMan after the event is optional.
Each and every room can be "searched" on a given turn in leu of moving to a different room. Each room will only yield rewards if searched once, and searching takes up a turn.
Players are also able to enter strictly to loot the building if they so desire by searching for rewards and data for personal use.
Heel Navis may also be lurking in the hallways. They can escape at will and should not be worried about though they may delay players a turn if engaged, or may cause problems elsewhere if left alone.
Gravity Beetle and/or the Armored Destroyer will not be taking part in this event, but they may be encountered in the building.
Players have Ten Turns to complete their tasks and return to the building's entrance. Keep in mind that permanent deletion is active for Electopia, so failure has dire consequences.
A map is available for this event, and will be posted on Discord directly after this post is made. More details will be available there.
Players will be assigned special abilities based on their RP strengths.
Role play should generally be kept to a minimum when not encountering Navis in order to keep the event going.
All players interested need to post their Navis going into the lobby of the east wing before my next post!
*As the fire raged, things began to look sour for the building. A warm hand would be placed on Freezeman's shoulder, a comforting gesture by the tall woman arriving on the scene.*
Embera: We'll get 'em out of there. Are there any other assets that need to be secured before the walls come tumbling down?
*Embera surveyed the motley crew of navis making their way into the building playing hero. Another ice navi, a big-headed bug that could probably be bench pressed by Gravity Beetle soaking wet, and-- No way....SHE was here!?*
*She couldn't believe her eyes. After years hiding away, fate would bring her to her name sake...Fiera. Walking slowly from FreezeMan towards her, taking note of all of her features. Her hair, the ruby red gloves, that tan skin and purple outfit. And that face....her face....Embera was completely floored, not even knowing what to say. She managed to catch her breath, before making her way into the entrance.*

Coldjoe Moved to the lobby following the map data he was given however from his experience as a black ICE program he would note a few things as he studied the room they were in.
"Careful everyone there are Heel Navi in this building with us From the data here I can estimate that two possible locations of some heel navi atm...however this being said I'm going hunting for them....I'm sending you all a updated map with the location of two possible Heel Navi sites"
With that coldjoe entered the lobby his singular red eye glowing brightly as his coolant tanks hummed to life his gun arm giving a slight blue glow as he waited for the others to get here before he would carry out his scouting of the area
The space-time jumper simply nodded, downloading the map to use for the task at hand. Regardless of his jumps, knowing how many rooms and what the layout looked like was preferable; prewarned meant prepared. He began studying the map as others began to arrive, an odd assortment that got his analytics going wild with possibilities.
One of them looked like a Joe series, but different. More importantly to Kuwanger, he detected possible hostiles and where they were. "That's very helpful, if anyone else has any other useful programs like that, now's the time to use em. If not, I'll be jumping straight to H-4," Kuwanger announced to those that had gathered thus far, also hinting at what he brought to the table.
The trio of fire, aqua and electricity listened as Freezeman gave them the brief rundown. It seemed the situation was very dire and they all nodded to each other as they agreed to watch their steps.
Unexpectedly, their attention was then drawn toward a stranger they had never met before. Fiera & Riclice felt something familiar about the navi they had never met and watched her closely, even after she went ahead of them. Had they met her before...? Neither of them could say.
However, Doomistra merely looked between the two of them questioningly, wondering what was wrong. It seemed she had her mind more on current matters than whatever relationship Fiera (& Riclice?) had with the mystery navi.
To steal back their focus, she cleared her throat and moved to stand before them.
"Alright! Heads back in the game! We've got something else to do now, so let's get a move on." Doomistra said, once again taking charge out of the three of them.
With that, they all ventured forth into the east wing's lobby.

Nightshade tip tapped about, waiting for the commotion to clear up. He had no intention of getting into the OEL's sights again, but there was something to be gained by at least helping in the rescue effort. Freezeman could have intel towards a certain somewhere he still did not manage to visit yet. Any info to the Underground net would be a godsend, so ignoring this opportunity would be stupid. Even then, he was more than fast enough to scuttle somewhere else.
The Juuka silently moved to the entrance after making sure the others were already doing whatever they were doing. Best to keep away.
Ordered by the man in the ribbons to not only welcome Navis, but to assist more in coming to their refuge, StrifeMan moved as a call to action was given. It was their purpose, then, to scout the networks surrounding the Undernet, whatever remained, and bring out those that needed rescue.
As Electopia started the repair efforts, StrifeMan followed the source of his power and rose from the darkness within the shadow of the burning building. A monstrous navi such as he, coming to the assistance of others . . . it was never meant to be; he spread strife, and accepted it, but was not one for relieving others of it. The crazed one thought themselves mad; but, if he were to claim himself as the master of calamity, he would need to prove his proficiency in not only taking it in and spreading it, but abating it for all, not just himself.
Besides; the man with the ribbons willed it, and what he said must be so. So, so, so, StrifeMan arose, with the authority that the Undernet gave him, and set himself to work.
"We arrive, our soul a hive, to take this chance and help you strive! Sent by an iron hand of absolute mercy, StrifeMan calls you to bring those rescued to the Undernet. We offer refuge and protection.
". . . for his purpose, StrifeMan will find those without good intent, those Heel Navis, and bring them to heel with a knell from the Undernet's elite . . ."
Emerging onto the scene a female navi strode along, a brisk jogging pace towards the building where the others were currently working. Having recently escaped rubble and mess herself, she hastily moved forward. She had several viruses in tow, following her like a mother with her baby ducks. She overhears Freezeman's plea, and straight up preps to enter the building. She turns to the flaming candle and the two tiny twins.
"Please stay here with the babies. You can use the candle's prowess to assist the wounded." Please keep an eye on those two."
Without waiting, she moved into the lobby, the lone ratty Virus on her heels.
"Let's go, Celero!
Surveying the room, she noticed all the others, just in time to hear some of the others chat. She noticed the map, and instantly decided to head towards where she thought it would make sense to assist: the Employee lounge. She listened to hear what the others planed, staying quiet with Celero right next to her.
All slots taken, and all skills given. We have our roster for the event:
[/b] Turn order doesn't matter, and players are welcome to strategize turn order or go at will. Players that take too long to post will be skipped, and 3 consecutive skips will kick the player from the game and turn that Navi into a rescuable Navi. If unrescued, the Navi in question will be deleted with the building. Extenuating circumstances will be considered in this. [/ul]
