Faith recognized the Armored Destroyer due to the footage from New Life that was leaked several weeks prior, portraying him and Genesis as the destroyers of Rammount Castle. Outside of that, there were more than a few instances that his reputation had been passed around to her from various sources, but none of them would have illustrated him as anything less than a formidable fighter. So it was quite unexpected to see him bested like this.
" Aah, you're all safe. Wonderful, I'd worried that this one had deleted you in your weakened state. Thank you for coming to give me your aid. In appreciation, I'll immediately inquire about having you all released from this place as soon as possible. "
Well, that wasn't quite the intent, but before Faith could speak up, Genesis had already taken point with his stance on the matter.
" As soon as possible would be now, seeing as we are already out and about. I don't have time to stay hospitable anymore. "
" That's a little unreasonable, don't you think? "
She wasn't a firm judge of character in this case -- she wasn't really sure how Genesis and the Armored Destroyer viewed each other, but having matched blows in the past and now seeing that opponent defeated by another must have not sat well. Or maybe he was indifferent all the same? She had no idea how that relationship worked, but punching through Silverhorn's "kind enough" demeanor wasn't in her own agenda since she was certainly the cooperative type when she could be.
Her quip to Genesis wasn't shy, the offended expression on her face showing as much, but she turned her attention back to Silverhorn to resume an objective stance on the matter. She opened her mouth to address him, but the scene had already escalated far beyond things being a talking matter before so much as a breathe left her lips.
" !! "
Cooperation was preemptively declined. Faith's eyes almost looked shocked at the sudden change of Silverhorn's behavior -- there was even some disappointment in there as she had been fully convinced of his well-intentions before this.
She didn't waste any further time though, looking back to Genesis with eyes of determination, but also a hint of apology for the friction she had just shown.
Her eyes made their way over to the Armored Destroyer -- she had some experience in constructing Net Navis, but wasn't an expert in the field. If he didn't break apart then he wasn't deleted, and if he didn't log out then the area was likely locked (no surprise, considering that this was, in fact, a prison). There wasn't any telling how much more he could take, but at least he seemed out of the way for now.
" I had taken you for someone better than this, Silverhorn. Are these your true colors, then? Does might make right? "
Her gaze returned to their colossal foe, naught but a dagger drawn as she took her stance across from him. She didn't strike yet, but it was clear that this wasn't out of hesitation -- it was of preparation.

Centurion.EXE
Centurion, in the hands of Mistair, feels the dread in the air as the moment of adrenaline rises. Closed in, with water streaming through the ports in the wall, it is clear to him, at least, that this is a moment of life or death. The last few battles, he had been used by another against an enemy. This time, he must admit, he was feeling the urge to fight on his own.
Electricity coiled around the spear in Mistair's hand as Centurion made his choice. A being of pure electricity formed and wrapped its hands around Centurion's body, as the spartan soldier stood at the ready to attack Silverhorn. As he prepared his own onslaught, Centurion coiled electricity up his haft and sent it striking down in front of him, leaving behind a rallying standard with his navi crest on it for all to see.

Vanguard.EXE
When the door opens, there is a lot to take in across a short span of time. The telltale signs of battle come rushing immediately after the smell of gunpowder and cinder, the trademark of explosive warfare. What followed it was the sound of a beaten and bloodied individual, who wore a symbol upon his brow that Vanguard did not recognize. Silverhorn's hulking form entered into the light. He seemed to be under the assumption that whoever this was would've been able to harm them in their weaker state, and even more deliriously under the assumption that they were coming here to help him.
Before Vanguard had time to respond to the situation, Genesis and Faith already made their case. Silverhorn responded in such a way that Vanguard would have never suspected; the caring, intelligent Silverhorn melted away, as his true colors were revealed. Silverhorn raised the body of the broken and battered combatant, already defeated, and inflicted a horrific blow just to show his strength.
It was an unnecessary and flagrant display of ferocity and force, at the detriment of a Navi he had already bested in combat. In the face of adversity, one's true colors were always shown, then. The well thought and well meaning warden of the time was just a facade - something that could be used to get what the warden wanted. When he needed the ferocity, it, too, was just another one of his looks, although it may be closer to his true face than the wise mask he wore during their interrogations.
Vanguard was truly disappointed. He had thought better of the warden. He didn't need to voice this opinion; Faith voiced it for him. The warden standing strong before them didn't scare him - no, what worried him were the ports on the side of the wall opening and allowing water to rush in.
The tactical mastermind cursed under his breath as he mounted his trusty cannon, the realization that this was now a race against time becoming clear. The water flooding into the room, which was already cramped enough with all of them inside of it, reminded him of the training room back in the NIA with that foolish cat . . . both of those instances, now that he thought back to it. As the water began to well up, a wreathe of flames coiled around his boots, as the power of Vamin, from the core he collected from the Reaverking, washed over him.
"Might makes right is a flawed outlook in and of itself. To make such a grisly display . . . you disrespect yourself more than you disrespect your opponent."
Vanguard raised his cannon, and prepared his onslaught. He knew the kind of man Silverhorn was, now. The strength he possessed was his true shell, for underneath it he was nothing. With them weakened by the shields covering the prison, he could relax and hide behind a separate visage. With their power returned, he would be forced to consider their strength, and test it against his own. Only then could he prove that he had the worth he couldn't find within himself without it.
"The only thing might does is bloat one's ego. You seek to use your strength to make yourself appear greater than those around you - such pride goeth only before your fall."
As with so many before, Vanguard lined up the reticle and released a powerful blast from his trusted cannon. The energy unfurled from his coils as he used his ability to mesh data from his chips together, the powerful blaze forming a reticle just at the front of his cannon through which the intense energy from his core would be focused into a laser-fine blast. As the barrel continued to rotate, the moving coils rose up and spliced bits of fine metal into the laser, creating a rotating drill of energy to smash through any defenses Silverhorn could muster.

Does not affect Mega or Giga Chips. -- When imbuing a chip, increase the attack's damage by the damage of the chip alongside adding the effect. -- Expend 1 Use to add a C-Tier or B-Tier effect from the chip to the attack. -- Expend 2 Uses to add an A-Tier or S-Tier effect from the chip to the attack. -- Cannot Copy ★ Tier Effects. -- Only 1 S-Tier effect can be imbued onto an attack at a time. Armiger could only watch in abject horror as Silverhorn did the unthinkable. Armiger's time within the prison had been done attached to Genesis, and his conversation with Genesis had been long enough for Armiger to gain quite the respect for the prison warden. To watch him have such a disregard for life - he did not know what to do with the information.
"O. . . Oh my. Th-that's awful . . ." Armiger's voice, low and uncertain, resonates from Genesis. In one swift moment, the core attached to Genesis' chest flares, and the Onyx Overlord is encased in a powerful suit of ice. "I'll assist in whatever way I can! We will not fall here!"

*The weak ones should obey the strong ones, huh. It really made things for them a lot easier minus the times they went on a more destructive streak and they were caught in the fires of that rampage. It was of his opinion that the ones who were weak were simply doing their best to remain in that impoverished area without trying their best. It was even easier for many of them this day as with time came change. Even those who were given strength inherently had to put in effort for that strength to become proper might. They assumed that the strength of those above them came out of leisure and failed to grasp that even the mightiest had a time when they had failed to be just that. They took from that failure and made a profit from it. While there would always be shame in defeat, those defeats afforded the self-abasement to become what allowed them to be so victorious today. But to see his adversary yet at times assistance be dismantled would bring mixed feelings each time, but neither was exactly a good thing because those feelings related to wanting to see more of it and wanting to just do it himself. He'd bite his tongue further by not bringing up that there was another arm and leg to have work done on it, and to even add more to that he wouldn't voice to Faith that he'd agree with her that he was being a little unreasonable if only because he had another change in opinion just now. Now came dealing with the fact that being crushed by the pressure of the deep was not in his acceptable cards today.*
"The weak obey the strong... in that case in accordance to your beliefs, once you are defeated here, you have to obey the decision I came to. I won't end you today, as you at least have earned a pass on that from me. I speak only for myself on that subject matter."
*The others had no reason to agree to the same degree as he did after all. He would force some matters if he had to, but this wouldn't be one of them. To go in full blaze with no other options and without knowing the opponent's strength was foolish. He could take a guess at the first simple fact here in that if the Armored Destroyer failed, the opponent's defensive capability wasn't a pushover. Vanguard would check its depths by pressing rather directly with his force, so instead he would take the time preparing to be a more precise blow to follow up whatever knowledge they would gather from that, a series of steel blades rising up from the ground and launching themselves toward the gigantic adversary.*

"We can talk after we get out of here, Faith."
She could admit to a bit of guilt for having not answered Faith at the time, but it was of no ill will anyway. She would love to give her answers to her inquiries when they were out of their current predicament and would make sure that she did. She just also wanted to voice these things within earshot of someone else as well. To keep the air between them as clear as possible with things as they stood. She had managed to get what she needed out of this too so all was well speaking of the time that was sunk into it even as the doors opened and they got to meet the warden again. Well, for some of them they had met him more times than not, but for her not quite the same could be said. With the other matters taken care of it left... well, it left what happened to the Armored Destroyer first. She would set that matter aside as the situation had already escalated enough as it were and that may have added to it, but it wasn't something beyond repair.
It just wasn't going to be a very fast repair, what with how their world was functioning right now. Losing limbs really wasn't a good thing to have happen at all as she kept an eye on Centurion. She knew what he was designed to do while knowing that he was still inexperienced, so she would see to it that everyone stayed at their best going forward. That would reveal itself in a moment as a whip of electricity lashed out at the mammoth in front of her first and foremost. Any directions and the like could be made as adjustments from there.

The Heavy Cannon Warden would stop his laughter as the steel blades shattered against his body, as well as the rotating drill of energy met the same fate against his liquid coating as the whip of lightning at last caused him to stagger, but only briefly. He was still all too confident in his might in the face of them all, though still put off by Rosary.
Silverhorn: You speak against it, but each one of you that do has gathered up your might so that you can make yourselves right at a moment's notice. You'll clamor about it being in self-defense or for some righteous cause, but the only thing you could do was to use strength to subjugate the weaker ones in front of you that stood against what you wanted! Furthermore, without strength, your words become empty and meaningless just the same!
The massive warden stomped down with his right foot, causing a frigid blizzard to stir forth alongside a tidal wave to further pressure the situation that they found themselves in. The ice would find itself focused a bit more on Faith before he leaned back and aimed the cannons mounted on him at the one who had aimed his own cannon just prior: Vanguard. And from it was a swift and powerful shot directed back at him in return.

Centurion.EXE
There is something to be said about having the strength and the courage to stand up before a foe on his own two feet; there was something more in the recognition that, as a soldier, he simply wasn't ready for that, yet.
Centurion stuck to his losses as the surge of water and tumultuous chill of the blizzard surged from the man in the center of the room, turning into raw energy and allowing the blizzard to sweep over the physical manifestation of his body while his true form, the spear, swept itself away into Faith's hands. The electrical current flew through the air towards her, arced between her palms, and solidified into the weapon she had been entrusted with last time; where this had been an order, before, it was a choice he was making, now. He could trust her to withstand this storm.
Ma'am, I hope you won't think less of me for needing to resort to this again. I can at least offer you my offensive capabilities.

Armiger didn't flinch as the unyielding blizzard sprung up from around Silverhorn, his own intense cold simply rising up to combat the frost. Emboldened by the chill and the rising waters, his armor only added to the already impressive bulk of the Onyx Overlord. The chill and the cold washed over them to no effect.
While attached to Genesis, his body did not move much on its own, his armor still reacted to its surroundings. As the blizzards raging from the warden, alongside the tidal waves that he used to fill the room, came crashing down upon his powerful shell, his armor took in the powerful kinetic reverberations, settled them deep within his core, and then lashed out. A blizzard as fierce as the one readied by the Warden rebounded from his form, unleashing a chill to match their adversary's.

Vanguard.EXE
Vanguard's testing blast was met by a rather unique defense. The liquid that coated the warden's form seemed to morph and change its properties, being impermeable to ranged assaults one moment and impregnable to physical ones the next. It was not only a powerful shell, but a mutable one. Strength or force of power was never a question with him; it was a matter of whether or not he could overcome the defenses of an adversary to land a blow. Against this one, timing was his enemy.
He lowered his cannon and prepared his own defensive as the maelstrom of wind, water, and ice flurried forward from the massive navi. As the waters and intense cold encroached on all sides, his inner fire burned brighter, and he wreathed himself in a shell of flames that protected him from the elements. Losing his corporeal form in the process, Vanguard deftly moves aside from the first wave, and, seeing his opportunity, reestablishes his physical form long enough to be struck by the more powerful force. The intense cold sunk into his bones - another reminder of the changes that were being put into place - but, even as the wave of cold hit him, he could feel his inner fire burning. The tempo of battle was his life blood, and as he was endangered, his flames burned brighter.
The chill of the floor, like any battlefield, was a point of vantage - using the terrain, he glided across the field, avoiding harm while Genesis used his abilities to prevent the Warden from bringing upon his certain demise. It would seem that he's gotten the unfortunate habit of inviting his adversaries to use catastrophically powerful attacks against him and him alone - if he could find a way, he'd like to break that habit, but, it didn't seem like he had any control over the matter.
What he did control, however, was his own stride forward. He heard Silverhorn's speech, even as he lifted up his CustomSword Chip, and he was unimpressed. The crest on his chest opened up and absorbed the chip into his soul code, as Vanguard's entire body radiated with intense light and took on the rapidly changing purples and reds of the battle chip. When he opened his eyes, they, too, glowed with that rainbow of power, highlighted by the ever-present purple reticle that was where his iris should have been.
"You mistake valiance and perseverance for tyranny." Vanguard lowered his cannon down to the ground before him, as his wrist rotated to align the correct slotted coils for his ammunition. Raising his weapon, he let that power build, as the barrel turned rapidly, each spin creating a new chamber of darklight energy within its cylinder. "It isn't about the weak against the strong, or the strong over the weak; war isn't that simple."
He didn't bother going forward with his statement, as he was sure his words would be falling on deaf ears. Instead, he held up his wrist and allowed the energy within his coils to unleash themselves, as the array of chips he had selected lined themselves up in the battlefield around them. Like a dart, he chased after them as they flew, running up the walls of the cramped room to grab a hold of the first chip, infuse it with energy to give it form, and throw the DarkKunai that would cut through any defense.
The next chip to fly was to be used as fuel for another, as he grabbed the first and then crushed it in his palm alongside the second. The two energies coiled around his hand and then into his barrel as the normal and Dark chip became one, pouring the intensity of his flames to create a laser-fine focus once again. Unlike those that came before, however, his cannon rotated rapidly and fired not one, but 24 bullets in rapid succession, the intense energy funneling through multiple reticles floating in front of his gun, one of them carrying the essence of the broken down chip to imbue its power into the laser.
Just as that one finished, a final reticle was overlayed over his barrel and the energies bound to it sprung back to life, the cannon whirring and the cylinder turning as another round of 24 bullets, this one shifting its colors to match the hues of the sword that he had merged with.
If his defense shifted from one to the next, then he would unleash volley after volley before resorting to melee combat to see how much he could pressure it. As much as he would normally have preferred to fully prepare this attack, if he were to continue just preparing it as normal, it wouldn't be released optimally. As he finished firing his second and third round of bullets from the empowered DarkVulcan, he strafed back to his starting position as his signature meteor shower began; large rocks that immediately fell through tiny reticles which shrunk them down enough to hit the pinpoint locations he was used to targeting. He continued smashing down onto Silverhorn with all the force he had, using his keen vision to guide his attacks towards the critical points within his flow of data. Each strike carried with it his signature tracker that would sear itself into Silverhorn's body, marking him, preventing him from escaping his sight.
Once it was all done, he stood up from his crouched position to see how his allies would respond, and if Silverhorn still stood when the dust cleared.

If it was compared to some of what they had been up against recently, this wasn't so bad in all honesty. Minus that it looked like Faith was having a bit of a time as the cold seemed to intensify in her area. And at the same time from Faith's own form did a soft radiance give rise that beat back the concentrated cryogenics as she formed a wall between herself and the water and ice. That liquid coating wasn't very easily spotted, but being aware of it was still something all the same. Between needing to simply hit hard enough and to also hit it the right way, she could understand how between that and the ice that almost caught Faith for how things had ended poorly for the one who fought before them. But seeing that was enough for them to adjust. Now would be seeing what the warden had up his figurative sleeves to adjust to their own adjustments. She got an idea after Centurion had given her the aura, so she would see if she would get to use it or not.

*He wasn't interested in debating the current topic at hand. For a Human you could argue the logic was flawed in that they couldn't be born strong. They were born weak and grew up to become strong if they could be more than just their usual parasitic selves. For a Navi the case could be argued that they were born however strong they were made to be. Eon was born able to do his Time/Space Nightmare, Forte was born able to escape a lab that wanted him deceased, and then there were the average Navi that couldn't do anything. Still they could grow stronger over time, but to say that they were absolutely guaranteed to be born weak was false as they weren't all created equal as a baseline. One way or another, he still was of a belief that whether they were strong or weak, the end result solely rested on the individual no matter what spoon they had in their mouth at inception. But beyond all of that...*
"Don't waste our time talking about this now."
*It was unimportant. The discussion was a waste of his time on top of the time he had already lost being here. He held out his hand as he weathered the cold blizzard as he fired back a solid black sphere in kind. It would absorb the cannon shot fired at Vanguard as the spatial blast careened forth to crash into the mammoth before he slammed his fist into the ground, cracking the field around them as the water and ice from the field would be diverted there instead. That would slow the flooding if only for a moment in the grand scheme as he lunged forward after as the energy lessened from before but swirled around his arm as he unleashed a brutal blow with the spiraling space around it. His offense was less impressive in stature in comparison to another's current rotation, but it would suffice as as he warped back to his starting position to let that continued offense of Vanguard proceed while he was out of its way.*

" Tch. "
Faith scoffed at the self-bias of his retort. She'd have said more, but Vanguard and Genesis had already said their pieces -- the first aligning a bit more with what she herself would have said, while the later was simply a closed-book response that contrasted her own approach to things, but she could deal with that for now.
Preaching truth to power was something she was never afraid to go out of her way for, but words had done their talking so it was left to their actions to do the speaking.
As the torrent of ice and water came toward her, Faith weaved between the incoming attacks in ways that didn't seem quite possible, finding crevices that most wouldn't see until she squeezed through them and seeming to utilize the air itself as a footstool when her movement demanded one. Her evasion was always a sort of spectacle to behold, even catching Centurion in the midst of it as if it were rehearsed.
Had it not been for Mistair, that spectacle would have come to an icy end as the cold air closed in around her. She gave her eye contact for a moment, both to thank her for the assistance and to acknowledge her comment to her just prior. Faith's attention returned to Silverhorn as she responded to the electric spear she held in her hand.
" There's no shame in cooperation, Centurion. We divide the task to multiply the success -- you do what you do best, and I'll do what I do best. "
She was incomparably evasive, but didn't pack the strongest punch herself. Centurian was a literal weapon, but a stationary target if left to his own devices. Their combined strengths outweighed their individual weaknesses by more than a fair margin, all things considered.
One habit it didn't replace was her observation, however. When Faith struck, she ensured it would be true, and often that led to waiting for a far longer time than most would to deliver a swing. While fighting alone, this made things a little frustrating to say the least, but when fighting with allies, they could do the swinging in the meantime while she studied their opponent free of the stress she'd usually be under.
Centurian's enhancement would bolster that approach in far greater ways than was first obvious, but for now, the only sign of her preparation was the crimson glow that emanated from her dagger a bit more clearly than before as she continued to hold her ground.

They had weathered his storm well. But their return was something all the same as he stood against the destructive storm that Vanguard unleashed, but was hidden within the cloud. Before he managed to find the time to gloat however did Genesis unleash his own destructive spiral to follow along with what Vanguard had done, but found the crack in his defenses as he did. He couldn't respond to both approaches at the same time and in response to aiming for Vanguard took this in turn. The upward cyclone of destruction was what came in the end to finish off their offensive. And as the dust settled...
Silverhorn: No, Rosary. The games are at an end.
His body had singes and dust upon him, but the massive warden stomped down with his right foot as the strength behind it multiplied several times over. The blizzard that sprung forth alongside the tidal wave, the ice this time focused on Mistair before he leaned back and aimed the cannons mounted on him at Genesis this time, letting loose the devastating and unavoidable shot yet again with much greater force than before.

*Still standing even after that, was he? Suppose if it ended then and there that it would have been as abrupt as he would have personally desired it to be. This level of output likely wasn't used against the Armored Destroyer either given the wear and tear required to unleash it. He knew Armiger would understand what to do for this approach without any instructions. It was the same as before but with more impact beside it, focusing on keeping the previous shot in the space it belonged at. He'd let it out at a more appropriate time and while it would still be directed at Vanguard when he did, there were applications that could be applied to that string of logic. That was later however and this was now, pivoting his right foot back as he leaned forward with his left, a crimson aura flaring to life as brought his left arm in a path in front of him. There wasn't any visible signs of anything else put into this, but it was of no effort for him to parrot something so simplistic but effective in nature.*
"..."
*The path in front of him was paved clean open as a result, his right now holding one of the pure energy sabers from before as the crimson faded into black, bringing the sword to bear as it shattered as he brought it down, a flourish of blows unleashed all in singular instant as he narrowed his eyes barely as he gazed at his currently empty hand. He expected as much to occur, but it was still going to take some getting used to.*

Faith had been quite impressed by Rosary's display, nearly ending her own preparation expecting that it was over. But as the dust settled and Silverhorn remained standing, she maintained her focus -- the expression on her face never changing.
And as his retaliation came toward them, her familiarity with his attacks began to show as she cut even closer corners during her evasion, grazing each blow by the closest of margins but still weathering it unscathed with Centurion held tightly in her hands.
Mistair's favor from earlier would be repaid as the ice closed in around her, this time Faith being the one to banish the cold with a white, ethereal barrier that formed around her ally.
With Genesis already taking to the offensive, Faith held both hands up now: her dagger shining with a blinding brilliance, its blade crossed with Centurion's as she allowed the power he'd given her to be siphoned into her weapon. While Genesis' approach was likely quite enough to close things out, reassurance never hurt either, so Faith resumed her preparation in the meantime.

It looked like that would have done the trick, especially with Rosary's impressive showing to wrap things up. But it also appeared as though that was not the case seeing that the warden was standing and willing to assail them with much grander force this time. He was changing targets this time around as the aid from Faith kept her afloat this time, smiling as her eyes drifted over to her for the repaid assistance. Now to see to it that they got through this just fine as her eyes moved back to the endeavor at hand with her familiar veil forming up around herself and Rosary, knowing that Vanguard would be fine going against just this much. The veil rose to the challenge on both of their fronts and beating it back as a result. After it crashed against them harmlessly and Genesis made for his strike, she would keep ready as well in the event that the strike wasn't the finishing blow to this battle.
