"Oh. That's unexpected."
She wasn't expecting for--well, they wasted no time. One was somewhat quieter than the other, but both were quick to head out and likely knew their next move already. She didn't have to do anything to her door herself, as Vanguard saw to it for her. Though by this point she could hear Rosary as well, closing her eyes and holding back whatever response she was naturally about to give. She could tell given they were still stuck in the camp that they had to get to work on fixing that, which... well, better to take care of this now rather than later. But while she didn't like to believe they had time to waste, it was at least clear that the time off had done some good for Vanguard's health given the outcome of their last battle here.
"I'm present and accounted for. You're looking better too, Vanguard."
That left seeing to this situation and with any luck getting out of this before things got worse for them. As it stood they weren't equip to deal with the ones that they encountered before this. Or if they were, they still had no real answer about those defenses that they carried. Regardless the approach that the others took made sense: it was about time to quit being fish in the barrel. But before that, well... there was someone else to take care of too.
"...I don't suppose we should leave her here, huh?"

Vanguard couldn't help but be relieved to have what he was told confirmed by his own eyes, sighing and steeling himself quickly. As much as this was reason to celebrate, they could save the celebrations for after they were out of the prison entirely, rather than just fresh escapees.
"Aye - You're looking a little better, yourself," he quipped back, carefully eying the scar that Forte left her on her abdomen, turning to look back in the direction of the complaining Rosary. "And, no, we shouldn't. Any help - so long as it isn't that one's help - would be most beneficial. Besides: Anyone who disturbs the warden should be present when we ultimately have to confront him."
His eyes lit up, much like they had with his own room and Mistair's, and simply burned away the wall that Rosary had just punched, releasing the femme fatale. "Try to keep up, won't you? Also, our power may be coming back, but, that doesn't make it a good excuse to just blast at full force. We are still very much underwater, and drowning would be very unpleasant," he said matter-of-factly, making his way past Rosary, only looking back to make sure Mistair was at pace with him, as he followed Genesis and Faith out of the cell block.

I am all about two things, P U N C H I N G, and dates. And right now both of those seem to be a problem at the moment because SOMEONE still owes me a date and never came to pick me up!"
Rosary crossed her arms, puffing her cheeks in mild anger, until she realized that everyone was going ahead without her. She proceeded to stumble and run down the path with them.
"I-I'm on my way!"

For the group, leaving their cells was the easy part. Now a bit of a puzzle begins to unfold before the group. To the right of the cell block, the once closed gateway now lays open. The hallway leads off into a darkened corridor lined with similar, empty cell blocks ready to fill in the near future. Each has a control panel by the doorway, blinking red lights to signify their activity. In the distance, signs of a struggle become obvious, with the deactivated hulls of the guards that had led the group around littering the entire way. It's obvious that there was a struggle here.
To the left, the hallway leading to the large room that Silverhorn had spoken with select Navis to in is now sealed, and sealed extremely tightly. Even with the sheer power of Navis such as Vanguard and Genesis, it seems unlikely that this door can be broken open via force, and the danger of rupturing the hull of the sub-aquatic base is very real.

#s://i~imgur~com/stQVi94~png Faith turned around when she heard Rosary approaching.
" Oh, another newcomer. Faith Nymphra. "
She introduced herself, but quickly went back to surveying the scene: A corridor of cells to the right, littered with downed guards and sounds of commotion further along in the darkness. A locked door to the left, where their surprisingly well-mannered host was last known to be.
Faith walked calmly through the corridor on their right, her eyes scanning the scene for further details.
" Well, looks like we weren't the only ones with bright ideas, go figure. "
The guards on the ground didn't last too long. Whether they were beaten down by other inmates or if they were simply deactivated along with the prison's power was anybody's guess, but probably not a hard guess given the appearance of the scene. Faith knelt down and searched their husks for anything of use: some type of security badge was what was primarily on her mind, but she'd take anything that stood out, really.
" Don't wait up for me if you don't want to. I'll catch up if I fall behind. "

*The guards were taken down by someone who had come in which meant that like expected there was someone else who had initiated this escape. Faith was right as they were thinking the same, and while forcing the door down sounded like a good idea he wasn't for causing everyone inside to drown. That sounded like something someone else would do as an opening strategy in a fight with others not prepared for that situation to occur, so that was right off of the table. So finding a way to open it safely, or...*
"Following the obvious trail, I suppose. Alright then."
*Either the trail would lead to where they needed to go or it was inside the locked door. Faith would check things out here for a bit longer while he would stay on the move. He had been idle for too long and had plenty on his mind as it stood because of it. Things he couldn't see to while he was still underwater. So he made his way to head further down the dark corridor instead. If the trail continued to have more guards, it would stand to reason that they were in this direction because they were serving their purpose as guards.*

Vanguard turned to see Faith, still carrying Centurion, and then at Genesis, still wearing Armiger, and nodded to confirm that the two of them were still well. They were a submissive pair, and were likely not in much of a talking mood given their circumstances. He would leave the two be, and refer to their carriers directly.
Vanguard's eyes were more keen than any of those present, and, so, he tried to pierce through the scenery to see what could lie beneath: Signs of the struggle were present among the guards themselves, sure, but, certain things would give away whether or not it were staged this way. Just how severe were the wounds? Were the guards left with any source of life to them, and, if so, why? What kind of weaponry was used here, to disable the guards?
He could study these things from a distance, of course, as he continued after Genesis, his own perceptual abilities emanating just behind him to continue studying the scene from all angles as he moved. If the struggle continued this way, then, yes, the obvious solution was to figure out where the struggle lead them, and, from there, to a solution on the way out.
"So long as this was not orchestrated by the enemy, we need not worry about whether or not this answer is the obvious answer. We should be careful, regardless, of course."

Vanguard's words are punctuated by the sound of an explosion echoing through the hallways and waves of vibration through the subaqueous base, originating from a floor above. It's obvious what whatever caused this issue is still very much active and happening above.
Down the darkened hallway, one of the guards that had led select Navis into the room with Silverhorn emerges into the light, obviously damaged by an unknown assailant. From one back of the polygonal-spherical guard extends a set of two pods with upward-facing barrels similar to a pair of mortars. Its bright blue armor is cracked from an unknown assailant, with obvious explosive and impact damage on its facial area. It motions to the prisoners in rapid succession using the pointed, spike-like structures where its hands should be while uttering a broken, mechanical sound from the vent that seems to represent its mouth.

"I'm not worried about it."
*He knew why it should worry them. Being strung along into a trap was the last thing they needed in an ideal scenario. But he was fine if this was leading into one at the moment, as he needed something back right now. Hearing the explosions above, it was clear the raid was still ongoing. And as the damaged guard revealed himself, his eyes narrowed ever so slightly to examine the particulars of the damage. A few sources lined up, but the one that stood out that would be able to go through a crowd unseen while being relatively explosive narrowed down to one. There was a brief chill as a blade of energy formed in his hand as he launched at the Preon with the intent to drive the blade clean through the facial area that was already damaged, detonating the blade after in an explosion.*
"I'm a guest, not an intruder. I was brought here, not the other way around."
*He didn't spend much time looking over the success, making his way forward so he could also make his way to his goal.*

Vanguard paused suddenly at the sound of the explosion, but couldn't focus on it for too long as someone came in and began sending something after them. Genesis dashed forward, quick as a bullet, a blade coming to his hand, as Vanguard instinctively mounted his arm-cannon. As the blade exploded, Vanguard focused a reticle on the guard's body, and sent the devastating power of his vision directly through the navi's core.
If it wasn't deleted after a point-blank encounter with the Onyx Overlord, it would be after his own round. Moving his aiming scope down, Vanguard focused his attention above them, curious about the explosion from above. He willed his eyes to see beyond the wall, pushing his senses through the Network to see if it was a straight column from here to the next floor, or if there was a section of water in between.
"If I can, I'll see if we need to worry about finding an elevator, or if we can just use careful, precise energy to get us a route to the next floor."

The Preon Pod stands literally no chance. The small guard is torn asunder by Genesis' devastating blow, and then is virtually vaporized by Vanguard's pin-point attack. In the aftermath, nothing remains. A moment later, Vanguard in particular would hear a faint "click" coming from the direction of the main doorway.
Vanguard's scans, though extremely advanced, would be somewhat distorted by the strange nature of the structure. He could see that somewhere ahead was a shaft, but was it an elevator...? He could also see five... no, six other Preons, all slowly hopping their way through the hallways and cells of different levels. Most were headed in their general direction, though a few are stationary, including at least one beyond the initial six that seems to have a different signature that appears to be situated in the upper level. And among these Preons, another pod rounds the corner and hops down the hallway, shouting the same word in the same mechanical voice.

*Another one was rounding the corner, which meant that it they had more to deal with. Although... these didn't show the same signs of wear as the others. Intruder was singular and not plural, meaning they were after one rather than several. Instead of repeat what he had before, he instead formed another blade in hand and tossed it back where they had come from, back to where Faith would be. More as a sign to tell her that she didn't have to follow after them. If they were after an intruder while heading in the same direction, it meant the intruder they were after was where they were headed. That being said, they still didn't have a way past the door back there. So rather than destroy these, unless they were hostile in return, he would let them head toward their destination. In the meantime he could find out what Vanguard's scan had gotten them and reserve his abilities for later.*
"So do we have to worry about an elevator or what?"

#s://avvesione~files~wordpress~com/2016/04/big_order-01-daisy-pink_hair-pink_star_pupils-eyes-bright-looking_back-smile~jpg Finally making it to the fork in the road, Rosary stopped a moment to look at both of the options ahead of her. One was a large door that looked very locked, she wondered where it lead to. The other way was wide open and everyone was going that way so it probably wasn't cool or anything.
"Hmmm.."
She walks up to the large door and knocks aggressively multiple times while speaking.
"Hellooooo. Open the door pleaseeeee."

Faith didn't find anything meaningful with the fallen guard's body, but did discover a sword flying in her direction from Genesis. Her first instinct wasn't to catch it, considering the last one had just blown up and all, but upon swift reconsideration, she caught the sword anyway once it had closed the distance. It was better she took the explosion than the walls keeping the water out, but fortunately for her it remained intact.
Having two weapons in hand now, she passed over Centurion to Mistair as she still remained here in the back with the other girls.
" My hands are full, mind lending one of yours? "
She looked to Rosary as well now, the three of them clearly lagging behind the more proactive guys in the front of the group. She found it endearing that the girl chose to knock on the sealed door, but wanted to nudge her in the right direction rather than leaving her alone.
" I'll take up the rear. Let's not fall too far behind, now. "
There was a charm in her tone to motivate movement, but not so much that it would come off as her not taking the situation seriously. Despite her "orders", she still stayed back to continue examining the damaged preons, very clearly wanting to cross her t's and dot her i's here.

"Sure."
She took Centurion in hand, her eyes on the door too. There was no reason to have one this sturdy for this room compared to the rest of the facility if it was intended just to keep them from the interrogation room. That sword not exploding was likely Genesis giving a sign with the same idea in mind, but it wasn't as if just anyone would put that together right away. Rosary was kind enough to knock on the door to ask permission, but it was quite unlikely that the other side would quite so accomodating.
"While those two do their part, I don't think this locked door is meaningless. Give me a minute."
There was likely a key that was designed to be used for it or access that the warden himself possessed. Several other possibilities existed, but she was fine with any of those as she put her free hand to the door. She had been up to this while she was away as it was, which was why she was surprised when it happened sooner than she was expecting. Now it was just a matter of taking care of the systems in place.
