When the dust cleared from their onslaught - even from that of Vanguard's - somehow, the warden was still standing. Feeling the cold within the air somehow intensify, Centurion willed his electrical energy to hold fast to Faith, that he might not find himself elsewhere as she moved.
"I will do what I can! Here, this energy I offer to you! My standard shall not fall!"
Even as the blizzards continue to roar, Centurion once again brings down a bolt of lightning that leaves a flag with his emblem upon it. His standard unleashes wave after wave of electrical energy that empowers his allies' strikes, all the while he funnelled his power direclty into Faith to do with as she would.

Again, the extra layer of bulk he added to Genesis' defenses felt like a simple drop in the bucket compared to what Genesis' own hide was capable of taking. All the same, the blizzard came forth once again, even in the face of overwhelming pressure, they did not bend.
Armiger was left wondering just how much help he could truly be in these situations, but figured, if nothing else, he could provide a little bit more survivability to Genesis. If this was what he could do, then he would do it his very best.

It was expected that he would be able to change the nature of his defense through forced effort, but what came next was something that he had not considered. As he reached the edge of his defenses, Silverhorn seemed only emboldened, straightening up and moving forward with much more intensity than ever before. His unyielding defense only became more powerful, as he plowed through all of the other assaults risen against him.
It was a strange time to admit that his trusty weapon wasn't strong enough to pierce a given defense. His eyes didn't detect a single flaw in his current stability that he would be able to exploit. As the storm intensified, Vanguard once again discorporated, his attack pattern predictable and easy to maneuver around. For this moment, it was good enough to just survive, and see what opportunities present themselves. As he had learned, he continued his own push forward, preparing for whatever weaknesses he would find in that shell of his.

As she was speaking, she began to cower as his next relentless came through.. but thankfully Mistair came in and protected her.

Rosary began to charge again, as her power surged forward even more. She threw a red chip into the air and caught it with her hand, crushing it and causing her usually white aura of power to become a piercing blue aura.
"Let's get down to business, Warden-saaaan!!"
This round of bouts would be different however. Anybody who witnessed Rosary's actions at the border that this was a much different Rosary. Whatever had happened to her in this prison began to show that her strikes were less full throttle, and more tactical. She struck up close, and then struck from afar. And kept jumping back and forth to try to juke Silverhorn the way that he had juked her. Her ankles were still metaphorically broken but it was time to break the breaker's ankles.

As the closing act seemed to close in, the sparkle of otherworldly power shone forth from his as he weathered the storm once more and as Rosary started to juke around him, the signs of his irritation were more than apparent. She was right on her call all the same, but he would make her be quiet once and for all with this one as the frost was centered on her this time to still her movement.
Silverhorn: You're persistent. But I have a way for you to be still!
With her and the Overlord out of the way with their attacks, now all it required was keeping them here for a bit longer. And so he wasted no time in maintaining his tried and true, though much less than what had happened just prior when he had done so. The surge of strength was only temporary so it would appear, as the blizzard and wave followed by the piercing shot had all lost the remarkable strength that it had just moments ago.

The ice and water seemed to part ways around her as her charge had at last been completed -- the dagger's flash emanating enough force to push them away before they'd find her. Just as had been done before with Mistair, the ice that crept around Rosary was beaten back by a white, ethereal barrier once again. And as their oppressor's retaliation settled down, Faith severed her tie with Centurion so that he could act of his own volition for what came next.
" I understand that you think what you're doing is right, that it's the law of nature for the strong to govern the weak. "
In truth, it wasn't entirely false, but Vanguard was correct in the fine line that separated it from tyranny. When that line was crossed, it was the duty of the upright to preach truth to power, and if that power still turned a deaf ear, then to raise their own power against it instead.
" But you've shown that you won't hear our words if we can't prove our strength. And to that, we say: Very Well... "
They would play his game by his rules, then.
He was no slouch in the power dynamic, and few if any among them would have faired against him alone any better than the Armored Destroyer had. But solidarity was a form of power as well; a mountain moved by seven hands was a mountain moved all the same. If he chose not to move for them, they had no choice but to move him themselves.
As Faith raised her dagger skyward, its blade burst open revealing another blade within it, as if the outer blade were really just a sheathe to this one. Its appearance was still masked by the radiance emitting from it -- that same radiance that now seemed to be emanating from Faith's eyes as if her entire body were imbued by the same light.
From beneath Silverhorn's feet, a massive blade of similar light plunged upward, taking on the appearance of Faith's own dagger but large enough to encompass his entire body as if he were caged by it. This ethereal blade was translucent and semi-solid, interacting differently with whatever it came into contact with seemingly of its own accord. While Silverhorn would feel no physical resistance from the blade of light that seemed to encapsulate him, attacks from Faith's allies would shatter the blade upon contact, causing significant harm before reforming itself so that another could shatter it as well.
" ... our truth challenges your power. "
The conviction in her voice was the signal for the others to strike now. Two more blades surfaced to impale and encage their tyrant, totaling to three layers of their cumulative judgement brought down on him one after the other -- a ruthless assault befitting of a ruthless captor.

*His eyes narrowed as he maintained his composure to not call out the resilence of the warden barring their path. He was steadily growing more fed up with their time spent wasted here, a feeling he could no longer keep hidden from Armiger at this point as he made his way through the onslaught again. All they needed was one more push at this point to break through given what all they knew now, though it appeared as if Faith herself had decided that she too had enough by this point. Good. While he was unaware what her blade was and would normally make it a point to pry at this point while she was focused using it, he had more important things to take care of: seeing the ruthless part of this assault through still.*
"Keep up the union, Armiger. We stay vigilant."
*He was in a hurry to get this over with but not quite enough to throw caution to the wind in the same breath with how well that turned out for him the previous times he had in the span of a short time. He was close to doing it but not quite there yet, he wouldn't waste her chance as he three blade waves in tandem to rush across the field toward the ethereal cage, slamming against it to cause the desired result all at once. It wasn't as if he was unused to functioning among a unit, but he wasn't used to the unit being a functioning one. The fruits of his efforts were his own with how everything was in the past. This new surge in events was quickly proving that being solitary at all times was if nothing else willingly making things more difficult for yourself.*

What came next was unexpected, but Centurion understood the sentiment all the same - Faith's move was better used if all allies participated. As the ethereal cage was cast up by her sword, Centurion once again called upon his electrical form to take shape, and charged the warden to unleash his own series of cleaving blades.

A powerful show of force from both Genesis and Rosary, but the Warden still stood strong despite it. It wasn't until Faith made her show that Vanguard saw his opening, as the energies radiated by the blade she unleashed around Silverhorn caused Silverhorn's defenses to falter.
Where his tactics did not meet the required output, another's provided him the opportunity he needed. Seeing his chance, Vanguard crushed a series of chips in his hands, and took the brunt of Silverhorn's first release of force. Taking the punishment, Vanguard stoked his flames to withstand it, and as his flames were forced down yet again, his will to survive only intensified. The flame within his core, which rose only to be quenched down again, burned with greater intensity than before. That lifeblood, the heat of battle, the adrenaline, gave him energy beyond that which he had before.
Raising up his cannon, Vanguard pushed the barrel to unload time and time again, lining up coils of energy and charging it into his core to amplify its power. As the barrel rotated, Vanguard funneled more and more chip power into it, each exhaust of energy paradoxically seeming to make the next shot more powerful than the last.
"You gave us an ultimatum . . . unfortunate that you had to see mine, instead."
As the Ultimatum was unleashed, rather than fly to meet its mark, the flames from his calling card coiled upwards and formed into a complex array of reticles, which he centered his sights upon. Through those reticles, each strike that followed was intensified, as Vanguard dashed forward and grabbed a hold of the incredible energy Faith unleashed and funneled it through his own power reserves, amplifying her power by magnitudes in an attempt to finally lay low the warden.

Rosary lifted her hands into the air as an immense amount of data surged to them.
"Let us defeat the vile evildoer with the glorious strength of people-who-just-met! Otherwise known as FRIENDSHIP!!"
With a mighty leap, Rosary darted towards Silverhorn and intended to shatter both his pride and Faith's blade with her favorite move chain:
A mighty left hook from above, causing the energy in her left hand to disperse as if slamming a water balloon against concrete.
A mighty right hook from down under, causing the energy in her right hand to disperse as if becoming a rising tornado.
And finally, she brings both elbows back as Holy Data instantaneously replaces the energy that was used, and blasts herself forward to release Obliteration Straight: Faith Edition; a mighty double fist slam to Silverhorn's center.
To finish off, she perfoms a 1080 backwards somersault flip into a kickstand 360 spin in place, landed with a peace sign that also inflicts a small bit of damage.

Against the power that they put against his own, they left not even room for a retort on his end as he was engulfed by the power they pitted against him. The thunder that erupted forth blotted out even his own booming voice as an explosion came forth from where he once was, leaving nothing behind of the Warden that their might had overcome. Ordinarily she would let them have time to catch their breath, discuss a few things, and otherwise soak in the victory a bit. But seeing as they were on the clock as it were and that they could all feel their ability to at least teleport out of the prison returning, they were still in Sharo, but at least they would be out of here.

She took the power she was using to envelope the Armored Destroyer so she could take him with them. He had gone out of his way to break in and give them a chance to get out of this themselves. They could also make use of what Faith and Genesis discovered with their findings to at least see what else they could put together as well as what Vanguard gathered. Ideally not necessarily just sitting out in Sharo, but the number of secure locations at their disposal were steadily diminishing over time. She made sure to secure the severed limbs as well, as while they possibly wouldn't be able to attach them, it was a better chance than leaving them here.

*He wouldn't go as far as to call it the power of friendship, but it was truthful at least that it was the power of multiple individuals against the one. He'd have to take back a bit of the ego he had when the battle began initially. For the Armored Destroyer to have ended up in his condition on his own at the very least wasn't too much of a foregone conclusion. While he wouldn't drop without a fight, against this particular set of techniques it was incredibly easy for someone to be gated out of the battle. ...The same could be said for himself at the time. If he had contended the Warden strictly on his own, even he would be hard-pressed to find an opening to eliminate him with. He wasn't equip at the time to do so very readily, that much he was able to admit to. And this could barely be considered a pawn in the grand scheme of things when he had to find a way to deal with that Nero now, clicking his tongue in irritation. Rushing headlong into danger wasn't even something to be considered risky, it was just suicidal at the current stage. He always grew stronger on his own, but where exactly would he find the strength to accomplish that feat this time? How exactly to be prepared for these situations while the others were already prepared with their pieces all in the right places?*

*He didn't need to bring up that they performed well against the opponent. He would have to sit and think on this more than he would have liked. He was far from stepping down or quitting, but he was just as far from finding an answer to their dilemma. So he beamed out, expecting to find themselves back where they last found themselves in Sharo: the decimated area that could be called Com Square anyway.*

Genesis and Mistair may have not been ones to do it, but Faith seldom skipped out on the opportunity to give praise. She sheathed her dagger with a new "outer blade" after everything had resolved, holstering it on her person so that she could collect Centurion once more to take with her going forward. Before leaving though, she turned to Mistair, noticing her having aided the Armored Destroyer to take with them as well.
" We can send him to my PET to recover if it makes it easier for us to traverse, Mistair. It'll at least keep him out of harm's way going forward and give us one less thing to keep an eye out for ourselves. "
It was very likely that he would just leave upon waking up, as well, which Faith was quite aware of. But it seemed better than dragging him around, and in any other case, she'd at least be able to take him back with her to the Eastern Continents once they left Sharo, assuming they didn't just find another way back otherwise.
For now though, she agreed that they'd long overstayed their welcome here so she followed the others out to their well-earned freedom.

As the battle subsided, and the Warden finally fell, Armiger felt the leftover cold from the intensity of his wintery blasts solidify into his core. Genesis, wearing Armiger even now, would feel his body begin to let off an entirely new level of cold, as if in response to their new feat of survival.
There was a lot to think about, concerning what felt like the last few days. They had a lot to do, moving forward, and a lot to prepare for, and, yet, it seemed that their enemy was already prepared for them.
He didn't have very long to think on these, however. He was also not given much time to rest in their newly acquired victory, which didn't feel all that freeing in the grand scheme of things. Without much warning, Genesis was gone, and Armiger with him.

Centurion.EXE
Centurion looks at Faith as the fighting is finally over, some of her power still resonating off of his spear. The arcs of electricity from his assault on the warden seemed to only grow stronger, the surge of energy through his spear feeling more efficient. He looked over to Vanguard, next, the Centurion itself huffing from within his armor, and the spear - his true body - gripped tight in his hands.
Armiger was the first to go, alongside Genesis, leaving them here. He looked at Vanguard, expecting his leader to turn him back into his Navi Core and store him for later, but Vanguard did nothing of the sort.
He turned, then, to Faith one more time. ". . . See you on the other side, then."
It was short, curt, but a genuine outreach of some kind to show his appreciation for not only wielding him in combat, but releasing him to contribute in a meaningful way. He, too, turned into an arc of electricity to escape.

The loud explosion was the first sign of their success, and as the light and smoke cleared, Vanguard using his hand to shield his face, there was nothing remaining but ash and dust on the floor, floating in the water that had already seeped in.
He scoffed, disappointed, hoping that something of the Warden's impressive shell would remain to make use of his unique defensive agent, or maybe even a weapons system to modify and implant. Given his impressive defensive measures, he wasn't sure if what he had as output was enough.
It put a new perspective on his aiming tactics, of course, trying to pin down a defense such as his. On his own, he wouldn't have been able to overcome it - the kind of offensive necessary was overwritten by his dark chip usage. To forsake the chips would be to leave behind everything he'd ever known, but to continue to use them lost him an offensive option he would never be able to make use of. For this one scenario, that almost cost him . . . and it wasn't the first time his chip library was a limitation. Against Nero, as well, his offensive paradigm simply failed.
What, then, were his options moving forward? His greatest offensive achievements were through his mastery of supplemental offensive tools, and yet there will be enemies that they fail against. To forsake one in favor of another, he sets himself up to once again be ineffective against another opponent specialized against that one. The nature of any combatant is that their offensive would be met by a defensive that was its direct countermeasure, and so to try to compensate for his weakness between two options that could not coexist, his options were to be willing to switch often . . .
. . . or pair himself up with those that could compensate his paradigm's failing with their own. He looked to Faith, whose efforts made this victory possible, and as he reaped the rewards granted by Silver Horn's defeat, he gave her a curt nod. His face was still stern, his eyes still moving as he went through everything he'd learned today, but he tried to show appreciation where it was due.
He looked at Mistair, next, then, with her protective field around the Armored Destroyer. As was his seeming habit, he walked up to offer his arm to her. The last time they had changed networks, they were dragged out separately. The fact of the matter was that he had grown accustomed to working together, and even as she looked fine and he wasn't severely hurt, he had grown to trust her enough that he didn't want to go anywhere that he wasn't certain she was joining him on the other side.
"I'll see you over there, then? I don't plan on being a swimmer - not since the cat got kicked out."
Without much more word, sharing a joke that only she would really get at this point, Vanguard turned into his energy from and escaped as a pillar of fire. Whether or not Mistair came with him or stayed around a moment longer was up to her, but he offered her the energy to just tag along with him.
