Real quick before I get into this. I've 'fixed' a few things that weren't explicitly stated in the 7.0 rewrite of the rules but were still rules all the same.
-You can't aim an attack at yourself unless you suffer the Confused status damage or a similar effect. You also can't aim an attack at an ally unless allowed by some outside effect.
-You can refund things back to the bugfrag trader at 50% value, not 100%. Also buying things comes from a single navi source, not a pooled collection of tokens.
The guide has had a number of small little changes not listed here. Give it a gander if you dare.
You can own any number of viruses you want.
For the low cost of 10 bugfrags you may reroll your viruses Hidden Virus Skill in the Modtools shop.
Added some new viruses! Spikey/Shrimpy, Mushy, Fishy, Shadow, Twins, Pengi, and Mettfire.
Viruses that didn't have based stat total of 1000 now do.
Due to the changes to Light and Dark elements, Viruses may now utilize these elements.
Some Viruses have had their elements changed.
Candevil: -Shadow +Light
Cloudy -Normal +Ice
Various traits have been tweaked and adjusted.
For ease of creation and approval; skills have been more normalized and now operate as one 'tier' higher than their navi counterparts by default. (Basic dodge being 2 uses, etc.) This includes scaling, bonus uses, etc etc.
Signature attacks no longer give bonus damage.
Signature attacks are still not penalized in % damage by their effects.
S-tier effects have been added to the banned list of virus effects.
Modified the experience needed to version up to be the same as a Navi.
Changed the version up perks to better reflect modern site values.
Reduced Bugfrag consumption experience to 50/frag.
Added a new reward for every 5 frags eaten. (+50hp,+5dmg)
Adjusted the bugfrag rewards.
Added and changed some new Hidden Virus Skills. If you have one please see This thread to make sure yours is up to date.
