Aelfort City. A huge metropolis bristling with life, a place of many dreams and opportunities. Through the many skyscrapers that rise up high in the city centre, a complex stands above all. NSD: Nebula Systems Dynamics. One of the major Private Security Provider Agencies in Electopia. Always at the forefront of technology, house of many invention than revolutionize home security and net stability. Their Agents were sought after by many, always delivering results and exceeding expectations. They were the best of the best, or always strived to be.
With three towers over 100 floor high delineating a smaller yet impressive research facility, NSD Headquarters couldn't be any more imposing. And right there, right at the entrance of such building, a Mr Prog would show two navis in. The two had volunteered for important scientific tests, and the little Mr.Prog would make sure they still would enjoy their visit.
Once inside, Revved and Sazerac would be kindly asked to wait in the hall while the little prog would go inform that they had arrived. The place was big and spacious, with glass panels covering all the ceiling and allowing a superb view of the sky and the three towers to the sides of the facility. Lots of screens and various interactive totems allowed visitors to access some of the research and inform themselves about what kind of studies were being held. Many navis and mr.progs would be scooting around with different tasks, always busy.
Couches could be seen arraged in small islses all around a huge fountain with the Agency's logo glowing through the water. To the far ends of the hall, rows of elevators would be going up and down to unknown labs. The facility was in full swing. They would have five to ten minutes to wait before they would be called.

"Whoaaa...can't say I've seen a fancier or shinier lab." Revved said, taking in the surroundings of the area.
As he glanced around the brilliant Hall of the Tech Labs, Revved wandered pass the bustling Mr Progs and navis at a quickened pace, careful not to interrupt any of them.
Moving as fast as his legs could carry him, Revved advanced to one of the many interactive totems for information. Afterall, it couldn't hurt to see what the Tech Labs worked on...or at least learn a bit about them.
A wise use of his brief free time, he thought.

It wasn't the first time he'd been here, likely wouldn't be the last either. NSD had been around for some time and certainly made a name for itself. Trying its hardest to stay on the forefront of net technology and even succeeding often. Though their inner projects are mostly secret, a lot of their public information was good to keep in the know anyway in case someone tried to pawn it off as insider knowledge. Sitting around the pond Sazerac held his hands as if holding a large sphere, in the center of which a floating knife which spun slowly around. Really he was just passing time till he got called up.

Tie would pass rather quickly for the two navis. While Revved would dwell with the NSD totem and Sazerac would play around with his knife, a small tune would chime in the hall followed by an announcement.
///Sazerac.exe and Revved.exe to elevator 14 .Sazerac and Revved to elevator 14 please. Thank you///
Walking over to the rows of elevators, a navi would be seen waiting for them. It was donned in a similar way as many others, with a white lab coat and a badge pinned to his chest.
"Greetings, thank you for applying to our announcements. Before proceeding, I would like if you would take a look and sign these legal documents regarding internetional experimentation safety as well as a Non disclosure agreement, if you please." The navi said, handing over a couple of folders to the two. "When you're finished, we'll prooceed to your designated testing chambers and give you direction on what to do. You will also find a pass with Lv0 Authority level that will grant you access to all the elevators and all the laboratories you will need to visit. Please keep it secure."

Accepting the folders and the facility pass, Revved stored the pass on himself and then began looking through the folders received.
"Hmm....so I suppose these are the protocol required by everyone who carries out experiments, worldwide? Quite interesting." Revved said as he skimmed through them.
'And the non-disclosure agreement is pretty self-explanatory. Hmm...basic documents.' the speed-loving navi thought to himself, silently
Signing swiftly, Revved presented the papers to their new Guide, ready to move on with whatever was in store for them.

The guide would thank Revved and show him in the elevator. He used his own pass and the door closed. The elevator would then reach floor 4 of 11 in no time. When the door opened again another guide would welcome the volunteer and walk him to a large testing chamber. The whole room was a 5 by 10 by 5 with white walls and rows of bulletproof glass on each side. Many scientists were running calculations and many other tasks, barely noticing the new navi had arrived. In the middle of it all, a rather peculiar sight presented itself to the speedy navi.
Standing at what could wery well be 6'5" a humanoid looking lizard seemed to be waiting for him. As he walked over, Revved could notice his digitigrade posture, with both his feet claws and hand claws sproting only three finger each. The wingless dagon was covered in sappire blue scales all over save for his chin, chest, belly, the inside of his thigh and under his tail. Those scales were cream in color. The dragon didn't seem to be wearing anything at all, which helped to spot four weird markings on his shoulders and thighs. Green in color and glowing they seemed to emanate a continuously shifting energy, if faint.
The dragon stopped just short of arms reach and fumbled shyly,as if waiting for the other navi to introduce himself. A few moments of awkward silence was enough for him to muster his courage and hop forward.
"G-greetings. My name is Aeron.Fn." the blue reptilian navi said, offering his hand at Revved and looking at him with two piercing green eyes. "Nice to meet you and welcome to NSD Tech Labs. We'll be working together for a few experiments on Glitch Treatment."

"Nice to meet you too, Aeron! I'm Revved. Though just 'Rev' is fine." he spoke, shaking the unique dragon's clawed hand.
Looking at Aeron from his feet on up, taking note of his features and the use of sapphires here & there, Revved nodded to himself. His lab partner here, if such a term was suitable, was an interesting one for sure!
"Hmm...I've never met a dragon before, so that makes this whole thing even cooler!" Revved said, enthusiastically. He felt happy that he volunteered, though he was also just a little nervous about whatever was to come.
Yet between both the emotions of nervousness and excitement, Revved felt excited moreso to gain a new experience in his pretty new life.

"It's very nice to meet you, Rev!" Aeron replied, with his long tail wagging slowly at the other navi. "Alright, now, I am sure you know what DarkChips are and what they do to navis. Here we are trying to find a way to help those who succumbed to the addiction and or had their code extensively damage by excessive use. Now, before we begin our first test, we'll need to calibrate our instruments and gather a little data on how you normally operate." Aeron walked to the side of the room and knocked on the glass, snapping a few scientists awake from their fumbling.
"For our first test I would like if you'd engage and delete this V1 virus ghost data we'll be loading in this room."
Sure enough, just as Aeron said, a bunch of swirling data clumped together at the far end of the test room. A few seconds, and a Mettaur was already slamming his pickaxe on the ground, sending a shockwave at Revved.

As the shockwave raced toward him, Revved sidestepped the attack with ease, focusing on the little virus.
Not wasting a moment, Revved darted across the room toward his lone target, his digital pulse racing as he engaged the enemy. Once he was near enough, Revved seemingly vanished and reappeared at the Mettaur's side, already swinging his right fist toward the single virus.
Each blow packed enough power to knock the virus back just a few inches and potentially break its guard, if it attempted to use it.
Instead of firing a ranged attack toward the helmeted virus, Revved pursued it, delivering two more powerful punches to the virus' small body.

Sure enough, the virus could not withstand Revved's power and vanished in a miriad of small bits of data.
Aeron surveyed the scene and nodded. He briefly turned over to the scientis and lab technicians "Just like Nightshade uh? A speed demon."
"These results are interesting. This navi shows a promising amount of Soul Energy. You think he could help us with those other experiments?"
"Hm? You want me to try the FnAP on him?"
"The math shows a 93% chance of success. I would say that this is the best shot we've had up to now to see if the changes to your code are stable and work."
"...sure thing then. Worth a shot. He has to accept though."
After that brief mumbling, Aeron walked over to the other navi. "Alright, nice work Rev! We can begin with our real tests."
The blue dragon offered his claw at the other navi in the room, intimating to pick up the thing he was holding.
"We would like if you could use this DarkChip. Don't worry, it has been extensively modified and suppressed. You don't have any serious risk to your code. You'll only suffer a small HP glitch, nothing that can't be undone. We need to see how it affect your body, then we'll try some different treatment methods and record the results. After that, we'll provide you with a Recover 300 should you need it."

Xeel
*whistles* Man. That's pretty big. Three buildings and a lobby. No small order, n-nn. The yellow flicker of light fades some yards before the main hall gate. Revealing Xeel, still in somewhat scuffed Sharonian attire. She had never been here before but had heard enough to know that it was no simple township.
She struts forward casually arms behind her head taking in every detail while passing small programs scurrying about their business, even a strange looking navi playing with his knife by the fountain.
She approaches one of the numerous terminals and simply begins sating her own curiosity. Looking up things specifically about regenerating code from deletion.

The totem lit up and a single declassified document popped out for the lady to read. Some sensitive data had still been censored, but most of the document was readable.
Project Panacea
Code Regeneration has been one of the hardest fields where Nebula System Dynamics allocated funds for research and experimentation. As of today, there have been various breaktroughs in understanding how Navi Code behaves during and after deletion events occur.
Recovering overly damaged code was however impossible due to the limitation of current technology. The quantum phases didn't seem to oscillate in standard 3E to 6F patterns. This would lead in a discrepancy in .bat files that would cause an incompatibilty of the data with our surgical reconstruction insrtuments. Mood Matrix and Sensory adaption codes would be the most erratic after deletion, providing only a small window to be properly repaired. More discrepancies in a Navi's code can be found in their VRAM. The code composing it is outright impossible to repair if enough time passes, which leads to reconstructed navi not remembering past events near their deletion.
All this, however, has been taken care with a new Kernel-Poichat code reprocessing method. Thanks to unknown anomalies found in key subject ///CLASSIFIED/// we were able to extract code that can be easily compared to totipotent stem cells for humans. We believe that by fully comprehending its sequence and structure we will be able to create Recovery Chips way more potent than what we commonly use today.
Studies show that unlike the normal 10/30/50/80/100/120/150/200/300 restoring efficiency these new "Regenerator" Chip will offer a 600% increase in potency. Some Regenerator 1500, Regenerator 2000, Regenerator 3000 and Regenerator 5000 Chip Prototypes have been successfully produced and are currently being tested for compatibility with all kinds of navis.
Regenerator 5000 is by far the most potent, able to completely prevent deletion, with some navis being able to function normally even while at 0HP for ///DATA EXPUNGED/// seconds before the chip would react, triggering complete recovery and cleansing even ///CLASSIFIED///.
We hope to bring a definitive cure for the devastating effects of deletion in the following years. These Chips show promise. When development will be completed, we might be at the verge of discovering the net navi version of the legendary Panacea.

Taking the darkchip ever so cautiously, Revved held it in the palm of his hand, holding it up to the light as he inspected it.
"I've honestly never seen one of these upclose before. But ok then...! For science!" Revved exclaimed, as the chip broke down and was absorbed into his system.
After a brief moment, Revved felt a small pain hit his body. Yet, didn't notice anything appearance-wise. But he definitely noticed the apparent glitch that Aeron mentioned.
"Well, it doesn't appear to be an outward glitch, but I can definitely tell that I lost a minuscule amount of data from that darkchip..." he spoke, looking down at his glitchy arm with a hint of suspicion.

"A-alright." Aeron muttered. "Time to work my magic."
He slowly circled around Revved, looking him over frok head to toe. The dragon's eyes were now glowing a vibrant green, with the marks on his body following suit. Suddenly he stopped right in front of the other navy and placed one of his tree fingered hands on Revved chest, moving it over to the left side.
"I see it. It's right there."
Aeron focused his energy. A faint green aura could be seen gathering around his hands. Soon enough the speed loving navi would feel like someone had injected something in him. In a moment it could feel this energy completely overtake his body and overcharge him. Like being under the effects of an adrenaline rush.
The glitch would be instatly flushed away, his arm returning to normal in seconds. When Aeron was informed that enough data had been successfully registered, he stopped whatever he was doing and removed his paw. Revved body semed to have become slightly more tonic and muscular.
"Alright, good job Revved." Aeron complimented with a warm, friendly smile. "How did we do?"
"Very well. The glitch was completely eradicated from his system, the damage and corrupted code has also been fully regenerated. He also seemed to be reacting posivitely to your energy. We registered a 50% increase in overall strength."
Aeron chuckled, turning over to his partner. "Alright, basically what they said is that the regeneration program we are working on is doing what it is supposed to do. It will be used on some Medical Chip able to normalize their healing rate and prevent overdose. Project Panacea and an many others will make good use of this readings."
The sapphire blue dragon looked over the the scientists, unsure about how he would go about saying that.
"Now, I know this is not what you signed up for, but I would like to know if you would partake in an unofficial, unscheduled experiment. I...I have an unique ability that needs more testing. I can join bodies with other navis and give them all of my powers. In short, yes. I am talking about Fusion. The story behind it is long, but I can tell you this. Before I joined NSD this ability of mine was parasitic nature. Think about those body snatcher aliens you see in movies. I could do that. Now things have changed around a little, and I am able to transfer all my power into my host."
The dragon would shyly suffle around, his shy attitude showing itself despite him trying to act confident. "You seem to be responding positively to my code, so I would like to ask you if you'd wish to try out this fusion thing with me. We would need an hour to monitor our status and test our power. I promise you there are no risks and everything is absolutely safe. I wouln't want to hurt you. If you could help me...well, I would appreciate it. If you wish for compensation we can arrange that as well..."

Xeel
Slight detour. With little effort Xeel stops one of the busy scientists scurrying around the lobby. Hey you busy? No? Come here. she guides him to her terminal Do you know where in this building that this is researched? and can you take me there? Her voice rings with sweet sincerity but her expression is of expecting demand.
