A little bit of clarity added to some things, as well as some changing of rules and formulas.
Element Shift Skills
- Previously known as "Custom Elements". We're adding more solid guidelines to these because the lines were a bit blurry before when it came to specific interactions. Basically, you name the Element Skill whatever you want, but the Element you belong to keeps its original name and Stregnths/Weaknesses instead of just saying "It's treated as X".
- Element Shift
- Does not change the name of the User's Elements
- Substitutes Elemental Effects on one element with Custom Effects of equal power
- Element Name and Strengths/Weaknesses are retained
- Special Properties are either retained or substituted as well
- Name the Skill whatever you want the Element to be named.
* If you have a Custom Element, use these guidelines and adjust them accordingly, then notify a Staff Member of the changes. They shouldn't be too drastic, you're literally just using a Regular Element's Name instead of a Custom Element's Name. Likewise, Strengths and Weaknesses reflect the Regular Element.
* This is a simple/quick solution to solving every potential problem that this custom mechanic could have (and may have) run into.
Barriers and Auras
- "Non-HP" Barriers and Auras no longer exist.
- To compensate, Barrier HP was greatly increased. The new formula is "210 + (40 * V)" and is still 1 Use Base.
- Support Type is no longer able to make "1-Hit Barriers/Auras" Uncuttable since they no longer exist outside of Natural Avoidance. If it wasn't clear too: Support Type cannot make a Natural Barrier Uncuttable.
- "Half Barrier Hp for +1 Use" no longer an option
HP Recovery Skills
- A nerf or a buff? You restore way more HP with these active skills, but have fewer uses.
- Formula: 210 + (40 * V)
- Base Uses: 1
Healing Over Max
- This mechanic was removed! Your Max Hp is now Your Max HP!
Topaz Star
- Effect reduced to "up to 25% of Base HP" due to previous announcement
Elemental Strengths and Weaknesses
- This is being announced little late too, but they were modified (to match original intents) a few weeks ago. Adjust your stats as necessary if you haven't already.
Stages
The wording for Holy and Dark stage has been updated for clarity(in darkness' case it got a buff!). Adjust accordingly.
