"I would rather we avoid damaging the time-line too. As for Bayside, I would assume either Vinyl or Juno did this too. But..."
*That seemed too easy. It would be easy to place the blame there and perhaps even be right. But then he had dealt with so many people whose words or actions were merely a lie for their other purposes. Was this a case of the same? While Vinyl was a total mystery, Juno was likely a product of someone creating something with faulty programming. Why he assumed this? His actions thus far suggested as such to Genesis.*
"Just in case, we should expect someone else to be profiting from this. I'd like to hear from the human side of things or any Navi who witnessed Juno's rising. None of them will give me a straight answer, but I don't need one. You should try to keep a low profile still though. After seeing Gravity Beetle fight once, I have to assume that the OEL is back as well."
*If they gave enough of an answer then he could piece the rest together himself. That was how he operated for these things. And Juno wouldn't sit in place forever either. The guy wasn't his priority, but then Genesis was all too used to being brought into something that wasn't his priority. He couldn't bother pursuing his priorities in his condition anyway, now could he? But he figured he would let the Navi know about that. So long as he hadn't reached the Galaxy Network, they might pose a problem for him.*

"He might not do something foolish."
Finale shifted his sword slightly, aiming towards Gravity Beetle with the end of the gunblade Perdition.
"But I might." Finale threatened.

The OEL too. It seemed inevitable that they'd return. But involved in this....?
?: If I'm not involved, then I would estimate that the OEL has nothing to do with this.
The Navi then closes his eyes.... The swordsman Navi's assumptions were fairly obvious, and that would have to be dealt with.
?: I'm not sure what you've gathered from my presence and willingness to speak, but there is no "we". I am not here for the benefit of anyone. I am strictly here for the sake of restoring my program or fixing the anomaly that this vinyl created. Whichever occurs first will be the path that I take.
Beneficial or not, the idea of being viewed as part of anything aside from his own purposes was less than appealing. He didn't want to impose a reminder of just why that is on this world.
?: Until then, you would be wise to stay mindful of just what you're speaking to.
Gravity Beetle's eyes shift to Finale for a moment, sizing him up. This move alone was one of those general offenses that should bring with it a mandatory arrest. It was warranted, deserved, and by the books. From a Navi giving ONB data to a wanted suspect. Gravity Beetle sighs and turns his head away from Finale, speaking with a calm yet gruff tone of voice as he does so.
Gravity Beetle: Look, I'm not here for trouble. I came to Bayside to try and get an idea as to what the heck's going on, and I'm just trying to keep the peace in the meantime. I really don't want to fight you or anyone else for that matter at this point, so I'm going to ask nicely that you stop pointing your weapon at me.
Coming online as a walking database and one-size-fits-all ONB commander... these kinds of interactions are not what he signed up-er... was created for.

"Then you'd do well to leave."
Finale said, his aim unwavering.

*Genesis blinked for a moment, but then realized what this meant. Though rather than get flustered he offered up a small light-hearted smile in exchange. He had done so unintentionally just then, but he could see how it happened. This one wouldn't be a part of something bigger. He had his own purpose and that overshadowed any other purpose that would come up.*
"It seems I gave off the wrong impression. I know that you're alone as before. I was thinking of someone else just now."
*Who he had been thinking of were the various others that had a habit of showing up when someone else did. And which human was behind Juno's creation. From his words he could see how it implied otherwise. His smile returned to a neutral expression after. He supposed their options from here were limited by their knowledge, but he supposed sitting around wouldn't help anything this time either.*
"But you're right. Trying to be mindful of anything else right now is unwise. How will you proceed from here then?"

How indeed. This world had several new players, some which could potentially pose a direct and dire threat, and directions had already presented them in short supply. Still, perhaps the girl from before could find something....
?: I Continue to search for one of the two goals that I seek.
Finale's words ignite an instant spark of anger in Gravity Beetle. This conversation had nothing to do with the viral Navi, and even when Gravity Beetle had kept his cool through it all, he still persists? Ooh, how sweet it would be to take this towering, axe-blade horn and...
...no. There's a reason for this. The ONB has lost trust in spades over the years. This is just a result, and proving Finale's aggression founded would only serve to sour the situation even more. All that Gravity Beetle can do is sigh and re-absorb the data temporarily just in case of an altercation.
Gravity Beetle: This has nothing to do with you. Assuming none of us lose our heads....
Oh if only he could use his axe-horn....
....then I'll be gone as soon as I get an answer from this Navi, regardless of what that answer may be. I don't want to fight, and I don't want aggression.
A lie if ever one was spoken. Gravity Beetle was burning inside, but had garnered enough patience in the months since his activation to learn how to contain it.

*As good a way to continue as any. He would see what he could do on his front too in terms of information. His way forward may have been difficult for him. Or at least he assumed so. He would have to search for another method for that.*
"In case you don't remember me, I'm Genesis. I'll try to keep in touch with you."
*The Navi had a lot of people to interact with before and recognizing all of them save for the ones who stood out then likely was impossible. It wasn't in him to go out of his way to do that even at the end of the struggle. That and honestly he didn't stand out too much back then. He believed so anyway. Touching his left gauntlet, a black bracer came out of it, handing it to the Navi. Genesis kept the right bracer for himself.*
"You can get in touch with me or I can contact you through that if something comes up. It's fairly easy to operate it."
*He demonstrated how just in case, hitting a few key buttons that displayed a small list that did not display names. Instead it had icons, only two compared to the older days. They were vastly different from each other. After he picked one the line would be opened up. The screen closed after as he went to go search as well from another front. They could get more done by searching separately than together.*
*He would look around a bit longer here as well. Doing so gave him favorable results. He had business with two of them as he made his way there. He could speak to Finale later. His request would be simple enough for his arrival in their conversation to be brief. All he had to do was... well, addressing this with subtlety would get him nowhere so he'd be direct and just show that he knew the Navi already without their meeting having taken place yet. It would cut time out of the exchange.*
"Hey, Gravity Beetle? I have a favor that I need to ask of you."

The unique Navi looks down to the communicator given to him by Genesis.
....why?
What was the point? This entire situation was above the scope of what the Onyx Overlord could do even at full power. This gesture was pointless. Shaking his head, the Navi walks on and leaves the bracer on the railing of the bridge, fading away as he does so. Bayside was already becoming boring. Perhaps a return to Electopia was in order...
[?: Bayside City>?]
Alright, things will be fine just so long as the situation doesn't ch-wait, what?
Gravity Beetle: ...Genesis?
The obsidian-shelled Navi gives a puzzled, if not dumbfounded look. They didn't know each other very well, and Genesis was still technically a wanted criminal by the ONB.... not that such a thing had any meaning in a world like this. With a sigh of annoyance, he turns back to the two that he'd been speaking with before, retracting his arm.
Gravity Beetle: If you're interested, we can speak after I've taken care of this matter.
Gravity Beetle motions for Genesis to follow and leads him a few yards away before speaking.
Gravity Beetle: You do know that the ONB still wants you for questioning, and that I'm an ONB commander, right? And from the looks of things, something really happened to you to make my job easier in that respect....
Gravity Beetle closes his eyes for a moment as he realizes how dumb that sounds, crossing his arms as he does so.
Gravity Beetle: ....well, it would if we could get into New Life and if I wasn't apparently the last active ONB member and...
Oh that list could go on. This was already a headache. Fortunately, he didn't really care about "technical" laws at a time like this
Gravity Beetle: ....uugh, there are so many more important things than that. What do you want, Genesis?
Better to make friends than enemies at this point. Chances are that everyone will have to work together to stop whatever's going on; a goal that Gravity Beetle finds himself believing in more and more by the day.

"That's no way to speak to your superior, bug." Finale says, spitting at the last word. He knew Genesis' long reach and power.
Not quite kneeling, but taking a shallow bow, Finale sheaths his weapon.
"Genesis, high commander of the Resistance, the most respected army of law enforcers in the world. You humble even kings in your presence."

...that was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Gravity Beetle: ....one moment, Genesis.
It took less than a second. Via a spacial anomaly, Gravity Beetle was behind Finale, and the viral Navi's head was firmly held in his crushing grip.
Gravity Beetle: Let me tell you something, son....
The rare and overwhelming power of the Spacial element holds fast to Finale, locking him in place as a gravitational anomaly slowly begins to crush him in the most painful way possible.
Gravity Beetle: I have been more than patient with you, and am well within inches of deleting you and sending you to one of the ONB's prison facilities in a wheel-chair, but I'm a better Navi than that.
The gravitational anomaly was slowly growing more powerful, crushing Finale like the bug that he'd just said that Gravity Beetle is.
Gravity Beetle: I don't care if it's me personally or my rank, but unless you show me the same decency and respect that I've shown you up until now, I'll make sure that everything below your belt never respawns again. Am I clear?
All at once it's over. Gravity Beetle releases Finale with no ill effects. Not even a lingering pain from the attack. He gives him one last look and walks back to Genesis without a word, crossing his arms as he does so.

Lol.
Finale's standing beside Deimos and Hexcillia, watching as GB freaks out on a construct - his body not really a body at all, but a puppet through which the King of Nothing moved through space.
Trolol.

...story of his life. Try to actually be serious, and it all falls apart. Gravity Beetle sighs and drops his head. For once he'd really gotten in a meaningful moment, a moment where he could assert himself and take the upper hand. A moment to be respectable.
"Trolol"
Story of his life.
Gravity Beetle: ....fine, you win.
....what else could he say? No point in getting mad. That was a good fake-out.

The King of Nothing's TRUE FORM, FOR THE SEVENTH TRANSFORMATION AND COUNTING was a small, monochrome metool with a half-mask holding up a trollface sign where his pickaxe ought to be.

*Genesis followed at Gravity Beetle's motion, nodding to himself at the words. He knew all of these things were true and that as a Commander in his condition it would probably be a hassle to fight Gravity Beetle right now. How it would go? Well, he would try regardless and see how it went if it came to it. Fortunately he met Gravity Beetle before and knew the guy liked to improvise more than just do his job.*
*So even after everything, New Life is still hard to get into? That guy did such a shoddy job... But why was that? No, it might have had another reason. If anyone would notice the anomaly straight away it would be Gate even if he was missing chunks of his memory. In fact that would be precisely why he would notice immediately.*
*But before he could interject, Finale had spoken up. He took this scene in too... and resisted laughing in the end. It just wouldn't be fair to Gravity Beetle if he laughed at him to his face right at this moment. He didn't know how he was supposed to take this one and roll with it.*
"Before the wrecking can possibly continue on you, I came to talk to you because you're an ONB commander. I wanted to get in touch with one of the human commanders."
*He had sort of slipped up at the start of it but rolled with it. Preferably they would just pretend that part wasn't said. But he really did need to talk to Finale later now. Maybe when Gravity Beetle wasn't getting rekt as the sign said. He beat down another laugh with no indications of having done so once again.*

Well, that was unexpected. It almost seemed like the human world had become little more than an accessory to the net these days. Truth be told, Gravity Beetle had all but forgotten about it.
Gravity Beetle: Alright, I can do that.
Gravity Beetle breaks eye contract with Genesis and looks through his ONB contacts while mumbling to himself. Funny, most of them were gone now..... no, not the time for that. After a few moments, Gravity Beetle pulls out one particular contact, seals the data into a package, and hands it to Genesis.
Gravity Beetle: This contains contact data for Victor Regal. He's one of the higher-ups at the current ONB and a former senator. If you have any questions, he should be able to answer them.
Geavity Beetle should probably have gotten victor's permission first, but he's a big boy and can deal with an unexpected contact or two. But just in case....
Gravity Beetle: Oh, and if he asks, commander Iria gave you his contact info.
