Sol was unhappy he had to fight in an additional round and that he wasn't getting anything for it. He had the feeling he won the last one merely on a fluke, and the trick he had pulled in it he had run out of rounds to do. Still, he was glad that he wasn't fighting underwater like last time. Even if it was quickly turned into a favorable climate, its hard to breath underwater.
Impossible even
Still, his new opponent was not likely to be easier. He had been told he could change his loadout between rounds, but since this was still technically round 1, he had to stick with the same strategy, one that his opponent likely knew of by now having seen his previous battle. Meanwhile he knew nothing of his opponent. Things certainly seemed to be stacked against Sol currently, but breaking through the adverse conditions laid out before him, its nothing particularly new.
Sol took the initative with a specially crafted attack of his, aimed primarily to get rid of something that gave him trouble in his last fight. Something that he expected all participants to pack in their setups.

Not sure where Quick has been... but his deadline is long overdue. I'll have to get in contact with him (or somebody) to find out what's up. (Quick's usually the busy one, so I'll give him a little more time)

In lieu of waiting forever for a post (and since Senka also happens to be absent), this battle it going to be given to Sol.
Rikaru hasn't lost Round 1 (yet). If Quick AND Senka make a reappearance before the Tournament comes to a close, I'll allow them to fight each other (as an alternative Round 1) and continue climbing the tourney, but until that time, Sol has officially advanced to Round 2.
The rules for Round 2 (and the "loser's bracket") will be posted upon the completion of Megami's and Trance's battle.
