Condition (though it does not apply to this specific battle). As long as the Condition is true, the Effects remain active. NOTE2: Supportive Chips do not cost an Attack Slot and can be used like a regular Skill.

Merrill Entered the Arena. It had been quite a while since he had been in one. What made it more interesting, is he was without Healer, and was now dealing with Battle-Chips, a concept he wasn't used to dealing with. He was also without his MZKeyZoth's.
"This should be interesting... I do feel quite exposed without my swords though..."
He looked up at the Board, and Saw his opponent was Vance.
"... Great. Him again. Hmph. Well, as this system is more about being clever than strong, hopefully I'll stand a better chance than before..."
Merrill waited Patiently for Vance to Show Up.
[OOC: Sorry about no battle post, My stats had errors that needed to be corrected, so I am waiting on Warrior's Approval on it. ]

The digitized warrior waltzed up to the stage, counting it resources over once more in his head. It was sure to be a challenge, trading strength for cunning, but not one Vance was ill suited for. True, a well planned strategy is not what one typically attributed to Chaos. But this green-headed soldier retained his brain and the expansive knowledge the dark and dare-he-say cunning world implanted within it.
And like the mighty mass of the infinite abyss, this knowledge was another tool at his disposal. It was quite a simple matter to convert social and economic strategies into combative ones, and he intended to do just some such thing.
Coming to the stages center, he met his foe, an unsuspectingly familiar face, with a grin.
"Howdy sir, I do hope you're as well prepared as ever, wouldn't want to kick off the even on a flat note now would we? Now, I do believe tis your turn to have a go at me first, hm?"

Merrill snorted.
"I expect to do better than before. I admit, I hated to see you defeat me so easily. This time, however, I think it shall be a bit harder!"
Merrill stood back in a combative stance, fists up. It felt weird, fighting hand to hand in his new form for the first time, weaponless.
His eyes started changing, the golden diamond in his left eye, the 17 pointed star in his right eye. As soon as the bell sounded, he shouted over the noise to Vance:
[glow=yellow,2,300]"Things will be different this time! Let's fight!"[/glow]
With no time to react, Merrill used a huge burst of energy into his feet, closing the distance between him and Vance in an instant, slamming his hand towards his opponent's neck, attepting to go for his windpipe.

Vance nodded, but need use no more words. Rather, he wouldn't be given the chance to as his opponent lashed out at him, striking his neck at close proximity. Utilizing the distance, or lack there of, Vance's knee rocketed forwards, aimed for Merrill's abdomen. Upon miss or impact, Vance's right leg would straighten itself in an attempt to follow up by slamming his shin into Merrill's side.

Merrill shrugged off both attacks, using the close range to strike out against Vance again, this time, not only striking at Vance's neck, but using his speed to attept a round kick at Vance's head. He jumped back afterwords, alowing his recovery chip to kick in.
[OOC: Merrill actualy has 1010 Hp, He has Recover 10]

Empowered by his successful assault, Vance leapt forward, or rather diagonally to his own right in relation to Merrill, creating a small buffer of space between them and immediately filling it with with a hovering orb or a faint crimson hue. Merrill might both remember and be vexed by this diluted allusion to Vance's signature defense. The orb sustained the damage in Vance's place, and held it's ground.
Not to waste time, Vance shot out at his fleet-of-foot foe from behind the object in an almost leap-frogging fashion. While Vance tumbled over the sphere, a shockwave rode the ground underneath it on course for Merrill. Vance led his assault with his feet first this time, his first attack being little more than a flying stomp aimed square for his foe's chest. Grounding himself once again, Vance move to plant his left elbow into the gut of his swift opponent, and swing himself about in semicircular fashion, counter-clockwise. In doing so his right elbow would take the left's place in Merrill's gut, completing a lightning fast one-two jab.

Merrill smiled as Vance attacked him. The shockwave didn't bother him, and blocking the next attack was smart, although he embraced the damage for the next attacks, he was content. The damage could have been worse. Summoning energy around him, he wasted no time at pulling out one of his limited attacks, sending a huge burst of rain down on both Vance and that cursed object from before. Then, he puled out 2 of his battle ships, curious to see how this went. He watched as the flamethrower appeared and fired at Vance, as well as the rotating blast that seemed to hit a larger area.

Watching his attack reflect right back at him, Vance shifted his orb between them with great haste, avoiding massive repercussions. Vance found himself unable to escape Merrill's rain of pain, but he quickly dashed around his foe afterwards, a translucent sphere about him now, absorbing Merrill's mighty flames before dissipating.
The spread shot too was a difficult thing to evade, so Vance neglects to and instead planted his feet firmly just a short ways away from his target. He lifted both hands, pointing out his foe before each formed a bulky cannon to replace his fingers. Twin blue cannons set their sights on Merrill, and fired upon his location without hesitation.

What Barrier? >.>. I demand to see where this random Barrier came from.
And Warrior, When you have that thing about special conditions, does that mean the first attack for Merrill also does 2X Damage if over 250?

...It's the battle chip man, hence why it's capitalized. It's generic, not random You can see it in the template post. I assumed you had seen the original post since I took so long to fix it ;>_> I C+P'd it into the original post but lost it when I edited. It's back in there now <.<
And no, from what I've seen conditions can only be fulfilled once when they're a "First to ____." Hence why Rem marked it out in red in the first post.

Merrill dived out of the way of the huge cannot, taking Vance's arm cannon. Using the distance to his advantage, he started slinging energy around, each strike getting stronger, until finally, with his last atack, he sent a massive wave towards Vance, which sent him several inches backwards. Vance was, at first, consumed by Merrill's torrent of attacks, but soon enough his ever reliable defense returned to soak up a mass of damage. The crimson orb danced around it's owner, shielding him from the remaining brunt of the assault.
Now Vance turned his weapons on Merrill's once again, full force. It was a familiar combination, but with a new twist. The shock wave rode the ground before Vance as he dashed forwards, sweeping at his feet with a fierce kick once he neared his target. Quickly followed by a straight forward punch aimed for the chin of his foe, Vance withdrew, leaving arcs of lightning to shimmer about Merrill in his wake.
