If RainMan didn't pay attention to where he was going, he would find himself running head first into a half-masked miniature gangster.
"Desu?"

RainMan quickly paused and looked around the room.
"It appears some one is outside..." RainMan thought to himself.RainMan reached out his arm and turned it into a aqua sword. RainMan got ready in a battle stance.

HeatMan. That was it. AirMan knew that he recognized this Navi, and the name fits the face.
AirMan: Aah, yes. I do recall hearing of your exploits in aiding megaman in the cyber beast incident so long ago.
No apparent threat from the fiery Navi. Still, the question arises....
AirMan: But what of now, hmm? What stake brings you to this acursed land?

“I am a roaming will from years ago!” _______________________________________________________
“Sight-seeing,” and he did not bat a fiery eye saying this, “I heard CreamLand’s former network was nice this time of year.”
Of course, HeatMan hovered by AirMan as he said this, making it almost seem like he was some ditzy NetNavi that had become a tourist these days. However, he knew he could not look convincing, even with a camera, a hat with a feather in it, and one of those name tag I.D.s that said “Press.” No, everyone knew of HeatMan and his blazing ambitions, mostly that of him playing the role of a mentor over all else. Turning a shoulder, looking to AirMan once again, his jagged teeth that parted to show a glowing flame burning deep within his cavity lit up as if he was showing an ugly suspect smile.
“These shores and this area in general, it is only burning embers of what Creamland once was. I have heard stories about this place, and I thought I would take time off from my...first job and take a look at it.” HeatMan’s burning wrists lifted and his hands parted as if his gesture was a kindly embrace, “You spoke of my endeavors with Megaman, and I would be telling a white hot lie if I said, ‘It was only business.’ A NetNavi who was simply my first pupil for sharing my own burning soul...it was more than that. Not even I had any idea just how far that kid and his NetNavi would take me into their world those days. They stirred up quite the commotion...made me look like a spark next to a blaze!”
His blaze calmed slightly, and his beady eyes actually became halves as if he was holding them to a slight close. “Because of that, let’s just say, my line of work, it ignites my flames! These days, I have become more of a ‘P.I.’ in the dead of the night. Nothing too fancy compared to yourself, AirMan. You have quite the business partners. Are you some sort of corporate tycoon?”

Nightwind continued to lead the three recent arrivals through the rusted, creaking halls of the ship, oblivious to the appearance of newcomers on the deck and hovering outside. He turned a corner and descended a flight of stairs, head turned over his shoulder to reply to the recruits' inquiries.
"I must ask. . .does the Governor go by any sort of shorter name? Something called. . .what was it. . .a 'Nickname'?"
Nightwind scoffed, as if personally offended by such a suggestion. "No. You will show him proper respect and refer to him by his full title, Governor Xezzukhz. He is not your personal friend to be referred to by a common pseudonym."
"I was wondering if the Governor would be open to have a conversation with me in private after this gathering."
"That would be up to him. But do not expect it. I am certain he has more important things to do. Perhaps if you offer him a compelling reason."
By now the quartet was at the door. Nightwind knocked on its slightly bent metal surface in a quick, specific pattern, signaling his presence.
"Enter."
The hinges creaked menacingly as Nightwind opened the door, revealing Xezzukhz himself standing in the center of the room. At nearly seven feet tall, he was an imposing figure whose four curved horns scraped the ceiling. His arms were crossed and held firmly against his chest, projecting an air of superiority. His eyes, black as midnight with glowing green irises, darted to and fro, examining each of his "guests" briefly.
"Not a very impressive collection of soldiers, Nightwind." He narrowed his eyes. "And not a single native of our dimension... those worthless subjects of mine DARE to uphold the reign of the deposer!?"
The demon's clawed hands clenched into fists, his nostrils flaring angrily. His tail, long and powerful with a tip that split into four whip-like segments at the end, began to lash about the room, knocking over several odd, arcane-looking objects and causing one to shatter.
"Perhaps they are being prevented from reaching us, Governor? We will know more when Advisor Xyzillentz reports back."
"Yes... I will need to contact him soon..."
For a moment, the red-scaled creature of darkness seemed calmed by this thought - at least relatively speaking. But his eyes narrowed at the newcomers and the tension building in his voice revealed what was simply a quieter, smoldering rage.
"And those who have answered the call seem to be lacking proper reverence as well..."
Nightwind turned to the three outsiders and pointed to the floor. "Bow before Governor Xezzukhz!"

((Unfortunately, since I'm scheduled to be leaving this Saturday and I won't have any internet access for a few weeks, I'm going to have to pull Feint from this. Which sucks because I was looking forward to it =\
Sorry guys. Also it wouldn't be Feint if she didn't cop an attitude, so excuse her for that, lol))
"Not a very impressive collection of soldiers, Nightwind."
"..."
She could handle that insult. After all, most people had trouble understanding that there was more to Feint than met the eye before she'd had the chance to show it.
"Bow before Governor Xezzukhz!"
" . . . "
But that was what flipped her switch. And the raising of one eyebrow showed it clear as day on her face.
Feint continued to stand there after being given the command. What ever the other two did was up to them.
A moment of silence put emphasis on her disobedience. She didn't talk until all eyes were on her.
"Let's be clear, Xerxes. You're not a king. You're not a prince. You're not even a lord."
Her voice made no effort to hide her annoyance as she crossed her arms beneath her chest. And as she continued...
"You're a governor."
... her voice sounded belittling, like she scoffed at the title.
"And evidently you're a pretty bad one for nobody to want you back."
She didn't go so far as to spit on the ground when she said that, but she did feel a little like she had just been spit in the face by being told to 'kneel' for just a petty governor with a grudge.
"I'm a soldier; not a servant. And if you're gonna treat me like a slave for offering some help, then you can go get your own damn colony back, and I'll just go back to what I was going before. You just sent your strongest asset walking out the door."
And walk out the door she did. She'd vanished from sight, it would seem like... one second she was on the boat, the next, who knows where?
Untraceable, unpreventable. Governor Xezzukhz' mission was in the hands of the others, now. And, ofcourse, his own.
((Location Changed: Pulled from Story for a while.))
And sorry again for her attitude, but... well, playing in-character.

((I lied, because cliff hangers are better than sudden disappearances))
"That won't be necessary."
Remnant stood calm as Rainman summoned his Aqua Sword. He had to compliment his bravery though.
While Noal went around verbally flipping tables, the person Remnant had been looking for had emerged from the door that Rainman had just come out of.
"..."
"..."
As Feint stepped out on deck, she gave little attention to the others present and returned Remnant's silent stare. She could almost sense what he was thinking, just by the look he gave, but she couldn't be certain of that assumption just yet.
"Got something to say, Remnant?"
He remained still. Silent for a moment as well. She knew -- he could tell. He remembered exactly how her voice would just slightly shake when she was nervous, and what he knew was certainly something for her to be nervous about.
"I'm waiting for something you're going to say, actually..."
Feint's heart skipped a beat.
Right... he definitely knew then.
"... Miss Pele."

"That would be up to him. But do not expect it. I am certain he has more important things to do. Perhaps if you offer him a compelling reason." Not the answer Ichabod wanted to hear. But it would have to do. The Governor was his only ticket to power, and he will do whatever it takes to get it. As he was lead down the stair case to the office, his nerves began to take the best of him. With a deep breath, he remedied this emotion. His mind began to spin with a plan to impress the owner of these lands. "I must assert dominance over the others..." Ichabod thought to himself, "But i'm don't have much combat strength. Maybe I can impress him with my loyalty." Not as important as fighting capabilities, but it should do. He was running out of time, and he had to make a good impression. As he entered the room, he was not at all surprised by the governor's appearance. Given, of course that he was lead here by a horse headed man. As the "politics" chatter on, Ichabod waited patiently for his turn to introduce himself. "Bow before Governor Xezzukhz!" That was his cue. He prepared to bow, when suddenly the woman next to him burst out. "Let's be clear, Xerxes. You're not a king. You're not a prince. You're not even a lord." Unwise of her. As a matter of fact, she was basically asking to be hunted by the governor's men. However, her little act of "heroics" didn't phase Ichabod. On the contrary, he continued to face towards Xezzukhz, with a straight face. The Governor didn't need solders who gawked at those who were not loyal to his cause. "You just sent your strongest asset walking out the door." Now seeing the opportunity, Ichabod began the moment she left the room. Ichabod took a step forward, and knelled before Xezzukhz. "My lord!" Ichabod spoke firmly. His head was tilted towards the ground, to show the governor that he understood he was beneath the king of these lands. Ichabod lifts his head, now looking up into the eyes of the man that could only be described as "demonic" in appearance. "I am Sir. Ichabod, and while I do not hail from the dimension of which you speak, I am a member of the society which you govern." Ichabods voice continually rises with intensity, now almost reaching a scream. "And I vow that I shall not stop fighting, until every drop of my blood, is spilled in you name!" Ichabod did not rise. He waited, to be beckoned to do so by his new "master". And as he waited, all he could do was pray. Pray he had convinced the Governor that he was a worthy solder, and could be trusted. For if not, he would be lost.

Noal: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)
Finale: SHUT UP!
Noal suddenly shifted, something not quite right, as her data was torn apart, leaving nothing but a black hole rift in the position. From whence emerged something like an adult version of herself, fully armoured with that which likens to a jester's mask split in two attached at the very core of this curvaceous being. Its annoyance was obvious across its face, as was its contempt for this stupid mission and this stupid body. Whatever resurrection he had went through, somehow, he was still incomplete.
If only there was a way to complete this merger.
But even more so was Finale annoyed at Feint. Her disappearance without reason, the insane mission Noal had been sent on.
Does everything in this network run on stupid!? So much conflict and sass for so trivial reasons. She stared into her, getting very much up into her face, and looked - unamused.
Finale: "Well. I don't know about you, Drama Queen, but as the Viral Inheritor of this Network, I'm about to go in there, smack up this Gov'ner guy a bit, then call it a day. And you're going to help me, because you owe me a favour booby lady."
"And after that, we can discuss why I keep ending up in your mysterious bull-pucky all the time, Remnant!"
Making a sweeping motion at the Shadowy Derp, Finale throws his arms up in exhaustion, makes a motion to grab both of his idiot friends, and struts into the interior of the ship.
Finale: (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻)
Additionally, Finale beckened for RainGuy to enter the building with her as well.

"... It's Miss Ruse."
She hated that name, 'Pele'. And while she couldn't stop herself from belonging to it, she could continue making everyone else believe that she didn't. Her expression went from nervous right back to angry in a heartbeat. So her secret was out, but if Remnant was the only one that knew... well, she'd just kill him.
She didn't care if he was an incorporeal phantom, she'd still find a way to delete him.
"Now what do you want?"
"..."
Before Remnant could respond, an anomaly took place with Noal. Remnant sensed a familiarity with the being that had stepped out of her, but he couldn't pinpoint it at first.
Feint seemed quite interested with the new look though. She recognized the girl from a mission she'd sent her on; she recognized her special alias as well.
"Don't steal my style, rookie."
Referring of course to the black suit Finoal was wearing. Although Feint actually wore a leather jacker over hers now, but irrelevant details aside, they looked like siblings just then.
"Finale."
Remnant put two and two together pretty fast. Few navis could call themselves a 'Viral Inheritor', and even fewer that knew Remnant by name. Finale had once taken Warrior's image for himself, and it made sense now why he looked so similar to Noal.
Phasing incorporeal, Finale's hand passed right through him. It was dangerous to do that though, because Finale was indeed half-virus. There seemed to be no repercussions this time, though. Feint was less prepared and got caught by the bicep, but she jerked free rather quickly.
Remnant seemed cautious... the last time he and Finale were together, the entire Cyber World had nearly been destroyed. But that was more Warrior's doing than anybody else's.
"You're not causing trouble again, are you?"
Remnant and Finale actually started out as friends long ago. Acquaintances, maybe. But they slowly seemed to take different sides as time went on. The most recent time, in Bayside City, he threatened the ONB. Warrior confronted him on most occasions, and Remnant's duty to protect him brought him there as well.
Fortunately, only Bayside was lost in the battle that ensued, and it was reported that the city was able to reboot rather quickly. It'd be a shame for this boat and half of the Dark Colony to see the same fate though.
Feint was less interested in their history and more concerned with Finale's plan for them, even if she did owe him one. Did she?
She held tight on the hand that had grabbed her after jerk it off, stopping Finale from going into the interior.
"Let him try and fail. Or try and succeed, I don't care. There are bigger issues to deal with than an arrogant demon bent on conquest."
Remnant's attention went back to Feint. That seemed to be part of what he wanted to talk to her about.
"It won't matter who owns this continent when it's ripped out of existence."

RainMan jolted in surprised as he found that some one else had been in the room with him.
"....!"
RainMan was about to speak but quickly shut his mouth. He decided that it would be better for him to stay silent for now.RainMan was very,VERY confused about the situation he had gotten himself wrapped up in. Apparently while wandering around he had some how stepped into a reality show. RainMan's only optional he had at the moment was to stop and stare as the Navis (?) started fight about personal matters. Heck RainMan found the situation kind of funny,he was just a background character in a movie playing out...However RainMan's out look on the situation changed when he saw that little girl transform into another..being.
"Wait...I thought only Varia could do something like that.." RainMan thought to himself. RainMan wondered if there are even more Navis that have similar abilities to...his friend.RainMan wasn't really focused on what the two were talking about,he more focused on the Navi who signaled him to enter with her.RainMan hesitated but finally and slowly started walking towards her.

As HeatMan tells of the past and present, AirMan continues to eye the wreckage before him, trying to gauge the situation, but to little avail. This ship wasn't giving up its secrets very easily, so a change of tactics is in order.
AirMan: Ho-ho... yes, some kind of corporate tycoon, and I have something of a stake in how this little game is played. To that end, I think it best if I retire from here to meet with those seeking a different ending for it all. If your work here benefits from bringing these ....creatures.... to their knees, then I would suggest that you follow suit.
With a wave to HeatMan and a dismissal of his men, AirMan teleports out in a gust of wind, on his way to the heart of the island and the castle that sits atop it.

Regardless of went on now, Remnant pulled Feint aside to do what he had originally came here for.
"We need to talk."
Indeed they did.
A storm started to pick up as they walked to the bow of the ship. But they ignored it for now.
There was much to discuss.
((OOC: These two are going to be out of story for a while until I return.))
