[Battle Post 1/3] ---- "Surely by now you two know what sort of skills I've gained. Let's do this!"
He nods at his two friends, acknowledging the beginning of their sparring match. Not wanting to keep everyone waiting any longer than he already had, Mirror immediately springs into a combative stance. Throwing a one-two punch combo in Warrior's direction, one would think it odd that Mirror punches at the air, though as each punch extends fully, a burst of energy erupts and a sphere of grey-blue matter emanates from each fist. Not waiting to see if the attacks meet their mark, Mirror springs in the opposite direction, towards Merrill.
It's at this moment he shouts at Merrill.
"So, have you tried out that new sword of yours, yet?
Before giving his friend a chance to respond, Mirror materializes a blade of identical design in his right hand, quickly reaching over with his left to steady the large weapon. As he nears, he leaps high into the air, bringing the sword above his head and swinging it downwards.
This is the sort of sparring match I've needed, he thinks to himself, nearing the ground, anticipating some form of retaliation or parry from Merrill.

" He's punching... the air?"
Before Warrior had time to notice Mirror's true intents, the first blast was already making a quick approach to him. He threw his arms up and crossed them infront of his body, bracing himself just in time to slightly reduce the force of the blast.
The first one caused him to slide back a few feet, but the second one caused a large cloud of smoke to bubble up and expand from the collision.
Not enough to stop Warrior, ofcourse. Seconds later, his body burst through the top of the cloud -- trails of smoke still coming off of him as he made his decent. At the peak of his jump, a shadowy version of himself separated from his body and now soared by his side in the air.
" Remnant..."
Merrill may have vaguely remembered this half of Warrior, but Mirror had certainly never seen it before.
" ... Let's show them what we've learned."
Still airborne, both of them raised their weapons in their handgun form to fire off rounds at their targets -- Warrior aimed at Mirror, while Remnant aimed at Merrill. As they landed, their weapons combined into a fair-sized sword while they dashed in for a close-ranged combo. A crushing slash to Mirror left Warrior in a crouched position, giving Remnant a footstool to leapfrog over Warrior into a spinning slash directed at Merrill. As Remnant touched down on the ground, he and Warrior were facing each other.
They jumped toward one another, locking arms as they crossed bodies, using each other as leverage for a back-to-back vault kick, executed in perfect unison so that Mirror would be hit by Remnant's foot simultaneously as Merrill would be hit by Warrior's foot, assuming there was no evasion.
They remained crouched, back-to-back between both opposers, while waiting for expected retaliation. There was no need to start dealing serious damage just yet.
But atleast now was a good time to start catching these two up on everything going on in the world. But first...
" So... how much do you guys already know about the Creamland incidents and related events?"

As Mirror attacked Warrior with his punches, that gave Merrill time to shift his weight, so when Mirror attacked him, he managed to easily raise the Spear-Staff up to have the blade meet Mirror's attack.
Except, The Spear-Staff ended up soaring out of his hand, as Remnant's fire hit his hand. Merrill nearly cursed, and at the last second, slid slightly to his left, Mirror's strike missing him by a hair's width. Merrill slid his feet along the ground, sliding, giving him a view of Remnant slashing at him. Merrill raised his hands to block, when a shield of wax appeared, blocking the attack. However, when the wax shattered, Merrill felt Remnant kick him in the chest. He slid backwards a few feet. then 130 tiny burst of energy appeared out of his Auralike energy, and all charged at Remnant. He spoke to Mirror first, as he gathered his wits, and some energy.
[glow=yellow,2,300][shadow=yellow,upt,300]"Haha. I have not yet. But i'm about to!"[/shadow][/glow]
Turning to Warrior, he responded, while drawing the 2-handed sword.
[glow=yellow,2,300][shadow=yellow,upt,300]"I heard that it annialated creamland. Extremely volitile and can shut down and infect others. It destroyed a squadren of ONB soldiers and infected the entire security system with it's data alone. That's all I got out of anyone. The ONB Heat, Terra, got angry and hid in his office, then X showed up, and the pair played Battleship, for goodness sake!"[/shadow][/glow]
Merrill widened his stance. Without warning, he chose his first target: Mirror, the closest. Merrill beat his wings, at the same time, slamming his foot forward, giving him a huge momentum. From there, his momentum carried him to Mirror so fast, he nearly missed his timing to slash. He swung in a wide arc, then brought the blade down in a quick slash. From there, he jumped, flipping forward.
As he flipped towards warrior/Remnant, Healer appeared behind where Merrill had been and spewed fire everywhere, aiming to hit all three of them. As Merrill overshot, he landed facing warrior, and slammed the 2-handed sword into the ground, sending a shockwave blast at them, giving him enough time to grab the fallen Spear-staff, which he tossed in the air, and replaced the 2 hand away, catching the Spear-Staff in hand. He charged Warrior and Remnant, first slashing at Warrior with an X slash with the bladed end, followed by a rotating uppercut to Remnant. He finished by jumping in the air, and sending a barrage of Auradic Meteors.
He spoke to Remnant as he hovered, looking down.
[glow=yellow,2,300][shadow=yellow,upt,300]"I vaguely remember you... Remnant Right? Weren't you trying to Kill Warrior and I last time I thought? What Did I miss over 5 years? O.o"[/shadow][/glow]
He then looked at Mirror, seeing how he faired from the onslaught.

((OOC: Warrior... those text color transitions are pretty awesome))
[Battle Post 2/3]
"Creamland... destroyed. I sure picked a good time to go offline, huh? Where'd this thing come from?"
Before he's able to say any more, the first shot from Warrior comes flying in his direction. The space around Mirror's body pulses and fluctuates, almost unnoticeable to his sparring partners, and an aura flies up around him, blocking the shot, dissipating as quickly as it was generated. Still holding his copy of Merrill's blade, he raises it to meet Warrior's sword strike. Successfully blocking the majority of the force of the strike, Mirror's own blade shatters and he's thrown back a few feet.
"It was just a copy, I suppose... Just going to have to practice making better ones!
His distraction with talking to himself left him totally unaware of the impending kick from Remnant. Taking it square in the jaw, Mirror flies back even farther. Much to his advantage, however, this makes Merrill's speedy sword attack miss him completely.
"Haha! It seems you guys have surpassed me! You're making me work at this!"
Mirror grins just as Healer starts spewing flames. He throws up another aura to block the bath of fire, but is once again caught off guard, this time by the shockwave sent by Merrill. At the last moment he is able to somewhat brace for the impact, but it still takes a visible amount of effort to not be knocked down by this strike.
"You sure know how to fight, you two! Though, Warrior, I can't say I know who that... other you is.
Turning his sight to Merrill as he hovers in the air, Mirror gets an idea. Throwing a sphere of energy at him, this one is different than the ones shot at Warrior. As it nears it's target, it explodes in a spinning manner, sending shards of energy whirling and slicing. He then dashes towards Warrior and Remnant, throwing a strong left hook at Warrior, then pivoting quickly, aiming an even stronger right at Remnant's jaw in retribution for the earlier kick.
"So if Creamland was destroyed, our old base must be destroyed as well. It's a shame..."
He then creates a copy of Merrill's Spear-Staff, forming in his hands. He holds it horizontally, and still in the middle of Remnant and Warrior, he jabs first in Remnants direction, then again towards Warrior. With a quick backflip, he's out of their range and spins quickly to face Merrill once more, who's still hovering. Running in an all out sprint, Mirror jams his copy of the weapon down, similar to a pole-vaulter, sending him high into the air and flying straight towards Merrill, his feet held firmly together, aimed straight for his partner's chest, in a magnificent flying drop kick.

((Thanks Mirror xD ... I'm still playing with it though, cus there's this specific visual effect that just isn't working yet... It'll get there eventually xD ))
" Infected the ONB Security System?"
That information was new to Warrior. Now, did the beast accomplish such a situation directly or indirectly? That much was still a mystery...
Warrior crossed his arms infront of his body to better withstand the wave of fire sent by Healer -- but Mirror's aura absorbed most of it anyway. He and Remnant were both caught off guard from behind by Merrill's shockwave, which sent them both tumbling to the ground.
As Warrior recovered his balance, Merrill had closed in with unexpected speeds for a powerful slash from his weaon, but Remnant pulled him out of the way just in time not to get struck. Merrill's followed-up rising slash was met with Warrior's blade, which Remnant had left himself open for while pulling him out of the way of the previous strike.
Remnant grinned at Mirror's comment, and to Merrill's as well, when he noticed that he was being referenced.
" I'm his Remnant. After the defeat of Eon and Forte, Warr--It's a long story. But basically, he's on my side now."[/b]
While answering the question, Warrior had been caught off guard by Mirror's left hook, and Remnant by his right. Remnant and Warrior both managed to regain focus in time to parry Mirror's following blows.
As Mirror flew off to meet Merrill in the air, the duo stood side-by-side and put their weapons away. They each began to charge enormous amount of energy into their left palms -- the glowing white orb of radiating power that had gathered in each hand was easily the size of a basket ball and still growing. It seemed heavy for them to hold, although the mass of energy has no weight at all.
The area began to grow dim as even the energy of the very light that bathed this network was being absorbed by Warrior's and Remnant's charging attack.
" It's just a training match, so don't aim for them directly... just aim around them."
" Right... and when they start to retaliate?"[/sub]
" ... Just brace yourself and be ready."[/sub]
They continued to stand there, charging, as the orb that each held continued to grow and expand. The area now appeared as if it was nighttime, even though it was still midday, as they continued soaking up the energy of the light in the are into their palms.
They wouldn't strike yet... but a destructive eruption of their power was imminent.

Merrill grinned as Mirror complemented him. He couldn't help but smile. However, Healer spoke for both of them first.
[shadow=red,left,300]"Thanks Mirror! That means a lot, comming from you! =D."[/shadow]
Turning to Warrior and Remnant as he hovered, he spoke to them, curious. His eyes focused on Remnant, being honest, open, and accepting, even with the seriousness of the question. He would accept Remnant reguardless. He spoke in a way not to be offensive of defensive, but with just curiousity, and honesty. He knew in his heart, that he prayed Remnant would understand.
[shadow=gold,down,300]"So... Remnant. Your on OUR side this time, yes? Not out to kill us, right?[/shadow]
Turning to Warrior. He answered the question that Warrior had muttered to himself. He spoke to all three of them.
[shadow=gold,down,300]"The rundown is this. Got to the ONB, some guy named Mercury asked soldiers to collect data on that thing that destroyed Creamland. They left, only one returned, and that one gave Mercury something, and when the data machine scanned it, it infected the ONB's security, warnings were screaming, everything went berserk. Eventually Coldman came in, shut it down, or something of the sort. Then this OTHER guy, Terra came in, started yelling at us all, and cocked himself in a room."[/shadow]
Merrill stopped there, as the action had began beneath him. He put the Spear-Staff back through it's holister on the side.
As Mirror's spinning energy ball approached, Merrill leaned back and was caught unexpctedly as it exploded sending fragments at him. He ducked, weaved, airially flipped and dodged most of them, a few glancing off his armor. However, that didn't give him much time to block Mirror himself.
Merrill grinned, planting himself just to the right of Mirror's attack. As Mirror was within several yards, Merrill leaned to the side, and edged himself grabbing Mirror's feet as they passed. The sudden difference in speed, andle, weight and power sent Merrill backwards slightly, and down. His wings beat faster to prevent himself from losing too much altitude. When he stopped moving, he spun, once, twice, thrice. He let go of Mirrors feet, angling him just to the left of Remnant. Then he saw what Warrior and Remnant were doing.
He had a flashback. He remembered the last time Warrior charged energy into the palm of his left hand. They both fired at each other. The light was so blinding, he couldn't see. He remmbered being so drained. He thought he remembered hearing Warrior say something before he blacked out, but he couldn't remember. He knew it was time to get serious.
Knowing Mirror, he would be okay from his flight. Merrill started by showering the ground around Remnant, Warrior and the falling Mirror with meteors. Set after set fell upon them. Merrill nodded to Healer, who started running, as Merrill spoke.
[shadow=gold,down,300]"You better hope that blast is stronger than before!"[/shadow]
Merrill started by making handsigns, energy surging around him, the golden light expanding outward. Then, a reddish purple symbol appeared beneath his feet. As the symbol grew, gaining both size and brightness, Merrill redrew his Spear-Staff, and he threw it, blade first, near the ground at Warrior's feet, where it landed upright, in the ground between Remnant and Warrior. Merrill made a few more handsigns, and the staff caused a loud explosion, the shockwave whistling through the ground and the air.
Merrill himself expanded his wings out to their 7 feet, and the energy around him. He stared down at Warrior, Remnant and Mirror, activating his Sight. His different eyes stared down, and he could see their energy, and he could feel it too. Snarling, he stared dawring energy in.
The wind picked up again, blasting air cirulating around the battlefield. As the Light started to fade from the area, Merrill started to glow, like a star. The golden glow expanded, energy curculating Merrill's form, crackling. The energy flouished, radiating from Merrill's feet upwards in a spiral, as his crystal glows.
Merrill started by swinging his arms out to his sides. He swings them down, then left again, then crosses them to the right, hard. There is a loud whoosh as the MZKeyZoths come flying in, one aimed at Remnant's side, and moreso at his left arm. The other came in at Warrior, aiming directly for his arm as well.
Healer, who this whole time hand been running, staying under the radar, finally pops up behind Warrior and Remnant. She unleashes torent of fire afte torrent, aiming to stop them rom having to use these powerful attacks. She spews fire around them, at them, and tries to get them to stop. She even fired a little in Mirror's direction.
Merrill then returned to his charging phase. If it came down to it, He'd fight back with a blast of his own. He prayed he didn't have to however...

[Battle Post: 3/3]
In retrospect, maybe Mirror had been wrong about deciding to pole-vault and flying kick into Merrill. Scarcely able to become aware of what was happening, he was already spun around a third time and being thrown by the time he was able to think "oh crap." Flying head first with his back towards the ground, he had no idea how close he was to impact or what he might collide with, though he had the advantage of keeping Merrill in his sights and being aware of the impending meteor strike. Throwing up a shaky aura, he thinks to himself "that'll have to do." with the first couple meteors whizzing by him, grazing but not causing any real damage. Not wasting any more time to consider his options, Mirror fires bursts of energy beneath him, hoping to brace his fall, though due to the trajectory Merrill put him on, the blast radius could very well include Remnant. A final meteor manages to hit him squarely, however, shattering his aura and sending him plummeting to the ground.
Taking an obvious moment or two to regain his footing, he stands, albeit shaken, and prepares as best as he can for the dousing of flames from Healer. Taking a page from Merrill's book, he gambles, ducking behind the nearby Remnant as a shield, and then shoves him in the direction of Healer and her flames. Dirty fighting, maybe, but his options were limited.
"Now would be a perfect time to have an 'ultimate attack' like these guys seem to have," he thinks to himself. And then it dawns on him. He wasn't sure how his sparring partners would attack, but he did know that he could emulate the charging of energy they were performing.
Dashing back a short distance, Mirror puts equal distance between himself, Merrill, and the pair of Warrior and Remnant. Hunkering down slightly, he begins charging energy between his hands. Holding the growing mass of energy near his core, he can't help but smile. He might not be as strong as he once was, nor as strong as those he was sparring with, who had long surpassed him. But he had his wits, and if he couldn't find a way to win this match, maybe, just maybe, he could engineer a stalemate. Prepared for his partners to make the first move, he waits to fire his charging sphere of energy at whatever attack they might unleash.
((OOC: I don't know if this is something I can feasibly do in an RP battle, but if you guys are willing to play along, I think this could turn out pretty awesomely))

As the MZKeyZoths came flying in, Warrior made a small hop to evade the blade aimed at him with an impressive aerial twist while Remnant leaned back under the other sword almost to the point of his body being completely parallel to the ground.
As Warrior touched down, he and Remnant braced themselves side-by-side to withstand Healer's flames. By grabbing each others' wrists, Warrior was able to support Remnant against the dirty shove from Mirror.
Their energy had continued to grow this entire time, but they still hadn't fired it off as Merrill and Mirror began to charge their own spheres of energy. By the way things looked, it was about to get really messy really quickly.
" ..."
" No sense in tearing this network apart from just a friendly match."
" ... Right."
As Warrior noticed the energy charging in Merrill's and Mirror's hands, his own gathered energy began to dissipate into simply nothing as Remnant reunited with him so that only Warrior was left standing of the two.
" It was a refreshing experience, guys..."
Warrior's weapons were withdrawn as he rose out of his combat-stance into a more familiar, comfortable posture that Mirror and Merrill would probably recognize -- The "Warrior Pose". Arms crossed in front of chest, head slightly tilted down, and body slightly leaned back from over his shoulder-width apart footing. It was just casual enough not to look tacky or lame, though.
" ... but it's time we bring this to an end."
Eyelids became closed at this point, as Warrior continued. He trusted his own allies wouldn't strike him down, so there was no need to watch them or anything.
" The global crisis demands our intervention. The sooner we respond to the call, the sooner we can get things fixed and moving in the right direction again. Besides..."
Warrior broke his pose to lock gazes with Mirror and then Merrill as he walked pass them, heading for some other Sharonian Area to search for more clues considering the matters at hand. He'd expected them to have cancelled their own attacks by now and sort of implied that they follow him so that he could finish updating them with what they needed to know.
"... by the way things are going, the world doesn't have much time left for us to fool around with."

Merrill nodded. Letting his stored energy disappate, he let the glow disappear, and he dropped to the ground, landing on the balls of his feet. He stood between Warrior and Mirror. His weapons sheathed, he rubbed his head for a moment, then spoke.
[shadow=goldenrod,up,2,300]"Agreed. Thank you both for the warm up. I'm glad we had this chance to spar. It was a good test for my abilities. I knew I wasn't wrong when I guessed that none of us had slacked over these years. Even you, Mirror, have grown as well, dormant or not."[/shadow]
Standing between his friends, he put his hand on an MZKeyZoth and leaned against it. Healer came over and took her place on Merrill's shoulder. She beathed a smale flame, then spoke.
[shadow=goldenrod,up,2,300]"This was fun guys! =D. I hope I didn't burn you guys too badly...[/shadow]
Merrill made a few handsigns, and spoke a few words under his breath. A white symbol appeared at the bottom of everyone's feet and started to gently, but quikly restore their energy, and heal any small wounds they would have aquired over the sparring match.
[3/3]
"[shadow=goldenrod,up,2,300]"There. Thats better. Now anyway, Warrior, I agree. I needed this match to make sure I am in prime fighting condition. I am in much better condition than I thought I was. Now anyway, I don't know much about this thing that destroyed Creamland. That's where you come in Warrior. We have no base anymore, so finding a new one in the future would be helpful. I honestly think that the ONB is of little to no use to any of us, right now. Attacking the creature right now is suicide. What EXACTLY do you know about this thing? You faught it Warrior."[/Shadow]
Turning to Mirror, he spoke again.
[shadow=goldenrod,up,2,300]"Okay, of all of us there, your best suited for infultrating. While Warrior has the current information, I admit, your new skills and the abilities to adapt and change to use some of our abilities, is just.. Awesome. I admit, I was a bit put off by the semi-copy of my attack, I admit, knowing you can semi emulate it for this upcoming fight will be VERY helpful. That is, pending we cannot get this thing to leave and go back to whereever it came from."[/shadow]
He sighed. It seemed no matter what happened, there was always some world crisis. But, Warrior was right... There was little time to waste.
