[bgcolor=000808] Judgement: Single Judge (Judge needed) Battle Length: (1 Intro Post + 4 Battle Posts) Story Version: On Version Bonus: ... Irrelevant (v9 vs. v9) Story-Related: Yes (...meaning it has relevance in the Main Story Line, as far as these characters are concerned) Setting: Described in opening post ((Highlight the beginning, if your monitor has trouble displaying it)) ---------------------------- " ... Darkness is..." The faint whispers of his lips were just enough to reach his own ears. It was the only sign, to himself, that he was still alive. "... Everywhere." And so it was. After the [/color] recent dilemma had come to a close, and Wave felt death for the first time, he found himself stuck inside this dark world... Walking through it, wandering around, seemingly forever.
All he could see was Blackness. All he could hear was Silence. All he could smell was Death. All he could taste was Hopeless air. And All he could feel was..." ... The ... pain..." It was unrelenting. Ever haunting. Always there.
The wounds he had suffered in the fight alone were agonizing, but on top of that was every betrayal, every broken promise, every lie that he had found himself a victim of... they all swarmed his thoughts, and only continued to intensify as he entertained the memories with flashbacks in his mind.
Those he held dearest... those he cherished most... had hurt him -- destroyed him, beyond repair.
Before he allowed the thoughts to continue raging in his mind, his attention was carried away and brought to something else...
A shinning glimmer -- far off in the distance, but approaching rather quickly. As it got closer, Wave could feel the light warming his skin.
Freedom... at last?
The light grew into what could be best described as a large rectangle -- or a rather, a doorway made of light. That radiance coming from it blinded Wave's vision of what was on the other side.
The only way to find out... was to pass through...
The light engulfed him -- totally consumed him. He almost felt like he was floating in the air, and could sense a cool, refreshing breeze blow over his body. The scent of water filled his nostrils, and the warmth of the light was akin to that of the sun. Still blinded by the light, Wave closed his eyes for a few seconds and let the light bathe him as he felt a solid surface slowly press against his feet from underneath. Opening his eyes... Wave noticed himself to be standing... in..."... The Sky?"
So it seemed.
In every direction he looked, he saw clouds dotted into a thick blue expanse. The sun was shinning down on him from above, still satisfying his skin with its warming rays. He held his hand over his eyes to shield them from its light, and was quite happy to notice his shadow being cast over his face.
So atleast he was sure that he hadn't become a ghost or anything.
Beneath his feet was some sort of invisible platform, that extended who-knew-how-far. Far below the transparent surface, he could see the ocean, or atleast a massive river, and a rather large city.
He was alive, somehow, it seemed. But in a rather... uncanny predicament.
Finding himself stuck, miles above society, was probably not a good thing.
But atleast he was alone... with no one else to hurt him.(I 1/1) I don't plan on always using weird background colors, shifting font colors, and word-hyperlinks in every RP I do. This is coincidentally the second time (in a row, I believe), that I happened to have it. And it's friggin hard/time consuming to do, so you may not see it again anytime soon @_@
... Also, there's 2 links in the post, to sort of help explain it. ((See words "recent dilemma" and "city")).
First one is a link to the Samhain Titan Battle, because that's where Wave was deleted... and he's still deleted... until this Post.
Second link is to Bayside City, because... well... that's the city he's floating above right now xD
ALSO NOTE: ... It's supposed to be hard to read at first >_>

As Merrill is flying through the skies over Bayside City when suddenly, he seems to stop moving. He feels suspended, trapped by some invisable wall. He beats his wings harder, but sems to be pulled up, even though he is trying to go forward. He feels frustrated, and suddenly feels as if he can't control his own movement in terms of directions. Sure, he controlled his body, but nothing else. He felt as if there was a hand grabbing him, pulling him up away into who knows what.
After a few minutes, he is suddenly dropped... No, Slammed into some VERY solid, invisible surface. Merrill fels the air rush out of him as his chest hits. As he opens his eyes, he sees the city below He flaps his wings as if to stop himself from falling, but he realizes that he isn't falling. Whatever he happens to be upon is transparent.
Merrill: "Urgh... What is this?" Where are we?"
As he stands up, Healer, who had been squished in place, jumps down, and looks around first. She stays very close to Merrill's legs, as she looks Merill cant help but smile.
Merrill: "Why are we just floating up here? What is this, some kind of trick?"
Merill gingerly starts walking around. As far as he can tell, he was on some kind of tiled, see through platform, high in the sky. He can feel the heat of the sun on him as he walks. He feels a breeze, his hair being gently tossed around. As he walked, he saw a flash of bright, pure white light. He thought he could see a figure in the distance. He continued walking, slowly. He approches the figure, and realizes that its a navi.. When he gets close enough to speak, bows.
Merrill: "Who are you? What are you doing here?Did you get pulled into this too? I'm Merrill, and this is Healer. Pleasure."

Wave made no response to Merrill's bow, but rather just stood there.
He wasn't in the mood to make new friends... not after what his last ones had did to him.
At this point... he was just interested in getting down from here.
" I... don't want to talk..."
The child-ish voice would be hard for Merrill to ignore... The tone of Wave's voice was younger than he appeared.
He turned his back to Merrill and Healer while summoning his trident -- sticking it into the 'ground' next to him, non-verbally threatening them if they came too much closer. The trident sort of looked like it was floating in the air... since there was technically no 'ground' to see.
" I don't want anymore friends, any more people, or anymore.. anything in my life..."
His voice was getting a little shaky at the end, as if he was about to cry... but he paused for a second, and let his anger overtake the tone of his voice, so that he wouldn't feel like a weak little kid in front of these two strangers. He'd played that role long enough -- It was time to grow up... ... something he had always been afraid of doing...
"... I just want to get down, and be left alone!"
As his anger started to slowly rise, the clouds around them started getting just a little more gray. This boy's manipulation of the water in the air was evident.
"... you can't help me anyway."
The clouds got darker as it started to rain. The heavy raindrops hit the invisible surface they were standing on, while nothing beneath the massive, invisible platform seemed to be getting wet at all.
" So just..."
There seemed to be an 'edge' of the platform, now. The rain water that had almost flooded the invisible ground up to their ankles had found a corner to pour off from. It was like a floating waterfall -- the rising water beneath their feet had almost resembled an airborne river that flowed to the transparent plateau's hidden edge and fell down to the much larger river below, that ran near the city.
If they wanted an escape from this flying box... they had certainly just discovered one.
" ... GET LOST!!"

Merrill was taken aback by the navi's tone of voice. He felt sorry for this navi, and he wanted to help him. As Wave ranted, Merrill stood patiently, waiting for him to finish, noting little of the trident into the ground more focused on the navi, and the quite obvious effects he had on the clouds. As soon as it started to rain, Merrill picked up Healer and set her on his shoulder, using his left wing as a sort of umbrella for her.
"Hey... I understand you in pain. However, I disagree with you on a few things. First off, You should never give up on your life. You have to want something... Second, I can help you, in a few ways, if you'd like. I can help get you down from here, for one thing."
After Wave muttered underneath his breath, Merrill actually caught it. He took a gentle step forward, and rested his hand on the navi's shoulder.
"Look. You''ve obviously gone through some ordeal, and I'm sorry that it has taken such a toll on you. I don't know exactly what you've gone through, but I know what it is like to be lost and confused. To suddenly wish you were alone after something has happened. Listen... I know I'm a stranger, and I know that your upset, however, if you need anything, don't hesitate to let me know. I also am willing to listen, if you need someone to talk to."
Merrill looked down at the Trident, as Wave shouted his last few words. Afterwords, Merrill nodded to Healer, and pointed to the Trident.
"If you want, we could have a friendly sparring match, you and me, to help relieve some of that anger. Maybe that will help you on your journey to finding something for yourself."
While Merill spoke, Healer gingerly picked up the trident, and gingerly walked over, and poked the Navi in the side with it, not hard, but had enough for him to know that she was there, offering it to him.

[bgcolor=232323] (( *gives you 1 million points for responding perfectly as I hoped for xD* ... Also, I think we should start battle posts here -- so this'll be B 1/4, after a 2-post intro each))
Wave paused for a second as the rain slowed down, coming to a complete halt.
Perhaps this wasn't such a bad idea.
As the virus poked him with the trident, he grabbed it and took a few steps forward while slowly nodding his head. The clouds were still dark, but there was no thunder to hide his mumbling from Merrill's ears.
"... Okay then."
--But he didn't plan on holding back.
Raising both hands in the air -- one hand holding the trident, and the other hand empty -- Wave began summoning together all of the water that was left on the platform into his free hand. All at once, the water rose from its position and began to gather itself into a compact orb in Wave's hand. It wasn't a liquid orb, despite being made of water -- no, the molecules of the water were so tightly pressed together in the orb that it had the traits of a solid object.
The orb stretched itself into a second trident, matching the size of Wave's initial weapon, so that he now held two tridents. Water began to "crawl" down Wave's arm and over the rest of his body, from the trident that had formed out of the aforementioned orb. The crystal clear water covered almost his entire body, and stuck to him like some sort of aquatic armor that resembled a sea dragon -- Leviathan.
The whole platform was dry again, since Wave had absorbed all of the rain and water. However, as Wave dropped down to his knees to slam his tridents into the ground, a burst of water rushed up from underneath Merrill's and Healer's position.
It wasn't just an ordinary geyser -- this burst was explosive, like a grenade, except that it was an explosion made of water rather than fire. It still had the capability to blow apart small objects that were caught in its radius, and the invisible platform could be felt shaking from the power of the blast.
Soon after the destructive, aquatic explosion was let off, Wave rose to his feet and crossed both tridents above his head. As he did, massive orbs of water fell from the dark clouds above Merrill and Healer, crashing into the platform with the same destructive power as the geyser.
The falling orbs were rather slow and easy to predict and avoid individually, but Wave had summoned about ten to fall from the sky in random spots within Merrill's and Healer's vicinity. There was no sense of accuracy about them, although their falling pattern would be rather unpredictable.
As each explosive attack was finished, the water let off from the attack dissolved into the air, creating a cooling mist in the atmosphere. Despite the destruction he had used it for, the calming nature of Water was almost able to transcend the anger in the boy's spirit, as he continued to fight.

"Good. Lets start with that Anger. Unleash it upon Me!"
Merrill smiled, but his smile quickly turnd into a surprise when his now opponent became covered in water. Merrill felt the ground beneath him start shaking, and he quickly picked Healer up, and placed her on his shoulder. He had just enough time to cross his arms to protect his face and beart of Healer when the gyser erupted from beneath him and sent him airborne, arching backwards. For the first time, since being grabbed by the unknown force, Merrill stretched his wings out fully, stopping his decent before he landed on his back, and he hovered a few yards off the ground. Looking down at Wave as he prepared his next assault, Merrill felt the wind from the orb of water that missed him by inches. Merrill looked up, and noticed the Sphere's that were falling, one by one. He started dodging some of them, ocationally taking one here and there. After a few minutes, as the Orbs started dying down in terms of numbers, Merrill looked up and saw ten or so orbs that were floating up. He realized that they were all going to crash down on him. He looked at healer.
"Healer, I need help with this one!"
He quickly landed, and looking up, turned sideways, facing Wave, Healer opened her arms wide and she summoned up a shield of wax above their heads. Merrill himself readied for the assault, and as the orbs started dropping, He stood undneath the shield, Arms crossed, as the Shower of orbs is deflected around them.
"Not bad. Not bad! You have some unique abilities and skills. And I like the armor. Now, lets see how you do defensively!"
Merrill Summoned his swords, the shimmering blades appearing out of thin air. The MZKeyZoths glinted with the rays of sun as he grabbed them. He stared at Wave for a moment, and then smiled. THe rain started back up, except that this time, it came in a torrent downpour on Wave. Then, the blade in Merrill's left hand flew directly at wave, and it glinted with something as it charged, at high speeds.
Then, in the blink of an eye, charged at Wave. He crossed the distance between them in a heatbeat, and then he swung one of the blades at Wave's head. He summersaulted over Wave, and swung again. He then tossed the blade forward at Wave, encasing his right hand in a claw of energy, and slashed at Wave. While he swong the claw, Healer shot a few fireballs at Wave's head. As Merrill regained his balence, he struck downward, th eblade sticking into the ground, using it as a vault, flipping, kickig directly at Wave's chest, then tropping on his hands. He then spun on his hands, Kicking once more, then flipping back up, landing on both feet. The sword that had floated arond him when he attacked with his claw returned to his hand. He waited near the edge of the platform, waiting to see what his sparring partner would do.
He couldn't help but smile. This kid might be young, but Merrill sensed there was something more to him than met the eye. This kid had a purpose.

Wave was confused to see the rain falling without his command.
It seemed his enemy could slightly manipulate the water as well.
The rain water felt like thousands of sharp needles, pricking at his skin from every direction. It wasn't so bad, though... Being a water-elemental himself, he was sort of numb to the strength of water, and if anything, the aquatic armor absorbed most of the attack.
As the sword strikes came, Wave demonstrated to Merrill just how agile he was. He held out one trident to deflect the MZKeyZoth that was sent flying toward him, but had little time to react to Merrill's charge, which he certainly didn't expect. He'd leaned back just enough to get grazed at the nose by the strike that had initially been aimed at his head.
This guy meant business...
The somersault-slash struck Wave's backside successfully, but he quickly turned around so that Merrill couldn't get the best of his rear again. Merrill was now in his face, while Healer was some distance away, behind him at the moment. Not the best position to be found in.
He heard some sort of shots being fired behind him, but before he could turn around, Merrill had hurled one of the swords at him. Jumping with impossible flexibility (but gaining absolutely no altitude), Wave dodged the sword with an aerial spin -- using the split-second of spinning to see fireballs coming at him from behind.
As he finished his 360o, before he even touched down, Wave managed to perform an airborne jump with even more flexibility then before -- literally dodging the claw and the fireballs (each coming at him from completely opposite angles) simultaneously. Again, the altitude Wave gained from these jumps was little to none -- it appeared as if he was just flipping in place, controlling his body's movements with perfect precision to just barely wrap around the attacks as they came.
Wave's luck wasn't so great against the kicks that followed-suit. In the end, he found himself being hurled back from the blows, spiraling away from the impact.
When he had reached the peak of his ascent, his body suddenly stopped in mid-air, as if something had caught him. The Leviathan-armor seemed to keep him afloat, as he hovered up above the other two.
Both tridents disappeared from his hands in a flash of light, and a dark cloud came down to hide Wave from Merrill's and Healer's sight.
The tridents reappeared out of thin air behind Merrill and Healer, aimed to strike through them, and then disappeared again immediately after they had finished their plunge. This repeated several times chaotically, from every angle, within just a split second. After the barrage finished, the dark cloud covering Wave had blown away, and he re-summoned both tridents into his hands.
Conjoining them into one, massive, glowing trident, Wave took aim at Merrill and hurled it at him spoke-long with breakneck speeds. The massive weapon literally tore through the sound barrier as it ate up the distance between the two navis in just a split second.
After the trident had made it's strike -- whether it had hit or not -- it separated back into two tridents and disappeared in a flash of light, returning to Wave's hands.

As Merrill landed, he had little time to prepare for much, as Wave suddenly disappeared. Healer Jumped up on Merrill, and nodded at him. Merrill then extended his arm backwards, and started throwing the MZKeyZoths, creating energy Copies, throwing them up through the clouds. Then, he felt a cutting feeling on his back, and he noticed that the tridents were striking him,But Wave was no where to be seen. He knew that Wave was up there, in that cloud. Merrill started blocking and dodging each trident attack, protecting himself and Healer.
As Soon as the attacks from the trident stopped, Merrill extended his arm back, and healer Jumped into it. Then, Merrill threw Healer into the cloud, where she continued to shoot fireball after Fireball.
Then, Merrill felt something comming and he Immediately Placed up his swords and took flight, only to get slammed into the ground by the trident. He hit the ground, and realized he was pinned to the invisible, tiled platform. He struggled to get free, as healler continued to shoot blindly into the cloud in which she was engulfed..

Seeing his target had been struck by the trident, Wave took the opportunity of his staggered position to rid himself of the source of the fireballs being shot at him.
Most of Healer's shot missed, but the more accurate ones were quite easily dodged as Wave angled his decent toward the virus. He could feel his armor starting to weaken... this form wouldn't last much longer.
He swiped one of his tridents at Healer as he fell past her -- not necessarily trying to hurt her, so much as leave her more vulnerable for what was to come next.
As Wave hit the ground, his body seemed to glow with some sort of cyan mystic energy, as did his weapons. The energy ejected itself and materialized two, powerful orbs that radiated with cyan aquatic power.
Wave kicked the first orb toward Healer, but intentionally missed so that it would pass her, and begin to fall back down from a higher altitude. The second orb began to rise off of the ground, so that it was slowly approaching Healer.
When the first (falling) orb was about to connect, a geyser of water (similar to the explosive attacks Wave had used before) surged from underneath Wave and shot him into the air at incredible speed -- almost matching that of the massive trident he'd used to pin Merrill down, just recently.
Using that momentum, he approached the second (rising) orb and kicked it with such force that the shockwave let off from the collision of his foot and the orb was almost deafening. It sent the that orb skyrocketing toward Healer, with such timing and precision that it would collide with the virus simultaneously with the first orb.
Even if Healer escaped the collision, the pending explosion would be quite devastating -- even to Wave, who was just barely outside of its radius.
Hopefully, with the virus out of the way, Wave could put the rest of his focus toward handling Merrill...

Healer managed to dodge Wave as he went by, but she couldnt do anything else. She used up her remaining power on that shield that covered them earlier. She was bombarded by both orbs, that left her skidding across the invisible ground in a heap. Merrill could only watch in horror as she laid limply near the edge. Merrill grnuted and snarled as he tried pushing the trident that pinned him down off him. He finally freed a hand, and after he did, he managed to pull himself through the hole of the trident.
He ran over to Healer, and slid down next too her. He immidiately tried to heal her. When it failed, he spoke quietly.
"I'm Sorry little one... I should have been faster... I should have been stronger... I'm sorry..."
Merrill stands, and looks away from Healer for a second. He raises his hand, and gathers the rain, and uses it to sweep Healer away from the ensuing battle. After Merrill makes sure she is a safe distance away from the battle area, he turns towards Wave.
"... Devide and conquer strategy? Really? Well, in some cases, that works... However, with me..."
The ground starts shaking as Merrill starts drawing energy towards him. The energy creats a visual gold ring around his feet, and there can be cackles of energy heard loud from around the sky.
"Picking on the one thing left that I have in this world, really pisses me off! How dare you do that to her!? This is a sparring match, not a deathmatch!"
The energy that Merrill collected starts glowing with an errie light, shooting beams of light upwords. The beams alternated from Gold, and white, to Gold and Black.
"That was complete overkill! I don't know what happened to you, and I'm offering to help. That does not mean that you take out all of your rage on my little one, when I said to direct it at me! You want overkill? Fine!"
There is a blast of dark/gold light, and Merrill snarls loudly, a deep roar resounding from where Merrill just stood. However, that wasnt all. There was a powerful shockwave, that radiated outwords, so strong, it could be classified as mid-level hurricane windspeeds. When the light fades, Merrill stands, encased in a purple aura, his wings have a dark tint to them. His armor was now gold and black, his swords hovered above him, unchanged, but his hands eminated a darker hue of the claw he used earlier. Merrill was also wearing a helmit-like headpeice, that had had a small blade sticking out where his crystal used to be. He snarled again, getting into a fighting stance as he did so.
"I'LL SHOW YOU OVERKILL!"
Merrill gave Wave no chance at a respite, as the floating blades charged at him furiously. Merrill then charged up at Wave himself, moving at breakneck speeds, his claws extended. He swiped at Wave as he went by, and precided to stop in mid air, flipping over himself, and spinning, diving back down on Wave, in a spinning motion, claws being used in a drill-like motion, intending to dent Wave's armor. As soon as that atack finished, Merrill snarled, and before he attacked, a blade came by and attepted to dent Wave's armor.
Merrill then grabbed at Wave's head, and inject poison in his mind. From there, Merrill smashed his knee into Wave, and threw down, intending to slam Wave into the ground. From there, Merrill used his speed to headbutt Wave with that spike, and from there, Merrill sent a small, but powerful burst of energy through that spike, and the power from such energy would cut through most armor. Merrill then growled, and attempted to hit Wave repeatedly, each attack growing in fury until there was a dent into the ground from Where Merrill had been hitting. Merrill jumped back, and snarled.
Following that, Merrill let the Swords fly around, and they started Diving on Wave. After a minute, Merrill called off the attack. He took a few deep breaths, and calmed himself down. He reverted his energy, and his armor went back to normal. From that point, Merrill just stored energy, waiting to see if Wave would rise from that assult. If Wave didn't Merrill would heal him.

As Wave landed on the invisible platform, after that last attack, Merrill came charging at him almost unexpectedly. His form had changed entirely, as Wave's began to lose strength. It hadn't diminished yet, but the aquatic armor wouldn't last for much longer.
" This.... could be bad..."
Needless to say.
As Merrill approached with the claw, Wave barely managed to side-step in time to avoid it. The drilling attack from above was too quick to parry, and beginning ripping a hole into the chest piece of Wave's oceanic armor.
Water was spewing everywhere from the collision, kind of like how sparks would have flow had the drill met a metal armor. The sound of stirring water coming from his chest was definitely a bad sign, but somehow the armor managed to make it through the abuse.
He dodged the next blade strike and caught Merrill's arm before he could get a grip on his head. But Merrill was relentless -- kneeing him in the abdomen before slamming the boy to the ground on his back. As Wave recovered to his feet, Merrill's headbutt was able to impale his aquatic helmet, but not enough to fully pierce. After the blast that followed-suit, his armor had taken enough and poured off of him onto the ground, all at once, like being dumped out of a bucket.
Wave's swift reflexes saved him the full fury of Merrill's repeated attacks that followed -- most were dodged entirely, but the hits that weren't had atleast been evaded enough to only end up nicking him, cause minor scrapes and scratches compared to what those MZKeyZoth's were truly capable of.
As Merrill began his final attack, Wave summoned the rain to pour heavily again. The storm he conjured up was so thick that it was hardly possible to catch a breathe of air between the rain drops. But as Merrill's swords began to dive into Wave, and continue doing so, the storm began to calm down in response to Wave's loss of energy, until at last, at the end of the attack, the raining had completely stopped.
There was a brief silence after that. A cloud of dust and mist covered the spot where Wave had been brutally ravaged at, so it was impossible to see how he had managed.
It seemed as though Merrill would have to restore him, after all... Until a faint cough could be heard in the invisible debris.
It grew louder, as the air grew clear.
" Th-This is why... I wanted to be... left alone!"
He continued coughing as the scene unfolded before Merrill.
Merrill's attack had caused a massive crater in the invisible platform -- about seven foot deep with a seven foot radius -- but Wave's rain had filled up that crater with water. How the platform was able to contain this small pool without bursting from underneath them was a mystery.
He still took every blow, but since he was submerged in water as the attacks came at him, the velocity and harm caused by each strike was significantly reduced.
Wave crawled out of the small pool that was formed, and rose to his feet as he summoned his weapon back into his hand.
" ... We're done here."
The trident glowed with some sort of mystic cyan energy as he struck the platform with it.
Like glass, it cracked once, and then shattered beneath their feet instantly -- the water on the ground rose up about an foot from the crack caused by the collision of Wave's weapon and the ground, then fell like rain with the rest of the glass, into the massive river below.
Wave's figure disappeared in the falling water and debris, so that only Merrill was left in the sky, falling, and Healer in the distance.

Asthe platfom decintegrated, Merrill dived directly for Healer. He managed to reach her before long, and then he floated down gently. He looked for Wave, but he was gone. Apparently, he would be okay. He instead used the energy on Healer, who came back, flame alight, and reponded with a fom of hug, and a puff of flame. With his remaining energy, he restored himself, and sent the rest of it at Wave, reguardless it found the target or not, he wasn't sure. He headed for a nearby rooftop.

Style: Remnant's posts had a few mistakes in terms of grammar and a bit of clunky wording, but for the most part they were well-done and very readable. The color in the first post was a nice touch.
Diamond's posts, unfortunately, were filled to the brim with distracting problems in capitalization, spelling, grammar, and word choice. They sometimes seemed disjointed and uneven. It's much harder to become invested or immersed in the action. However, it was clear that Diamond was at least trying to make things interesting and lively, more than I can say for some people.
Remnant: 26 / 30 Diamond: 16 / 30
Articulation: Remnant generally went into more detail in his descriptions, although both parties made a decent effort. Many of the same issues from the Style section carry over here; Diamond's details were sometimes hard to interpret or conspicuously absent.
Remnant: 16 / 20 Diamond: 12 / 20
Balance: I didn't really have any problems here. Sometimes the wording seemed a little bit restrictive, usually more on Diamond's part (especially in the Hyper Mode post), but it was slight. You both took some good hits and neither of you did anything inappropriate for the version levels. Good job.
Remnant: 15 / 15 Diamond: 14 / 15
Length: Zero problems. Both of you made posts that were as long as they needed to be without feeling truncated or padded. Good job once again.
Remnant: 10 / 10 Diamond: 10 / 10
Emotion: You both had some nice character beats here, and it was nice to see some real emotional interaction at the beginning. With that said, Wave felt more believable to me. Some of Merrill's stuff, especially with the demise of his virus, could've used some more nuance and build-up. As it is, it feels a bit sudden and over-the-top.
Remnant: 9 / 10 Diamond: 7 / 10
