Just a preliminary note to Omega and anyone reading: if it's only going to happen if you win, save it until after judgement. I'm not including that last paragraph in my judgement.
Now... on to the numbers.
Style: Both of you had a clear, consistent, and cohesive style that ran through the entire battle. However, both of you also occasionally tripped up over grammar or spelling to the point where it was distracting. Quick made mistakes much more often, though, and they were more distracting when he made them. As such, he's the loser in this category.
Omega: 27 / 30
Quick: 19 / 30
Articulation: You both did a very good job here. Details like shattered glass, specific times, and descriptions of the wind added a lot to the battle and were generally quite immersive. Both of you had standout moments (and Omega made me laugh out loud a few times), but Quick had just a few more. Some of his details seemed to break the flow of his narrative a bit, but that is reflected in his Style score. As such, he is the winner here.
Omega: 17 / 20
Quick: 19 / 20
Balance: Both of you tripped up at first, but this got better as the battle went on. The biggest error, in my opinion, was Quick's first battle post. It was a very interesting combo, but the problem is that the phrasing of the later attacks implied the earlier ones had hit without fail. This leaves little room for an opponent to post without accepting everything or contradicting your post, and as such, is a major no-no with me. However, later posts took care to avoid this and were entirely successful; for that reason, I'm softening the penalty a bit.
Omega, in the post immediately afterwards, ignored most of Quick's attacks. This could be a much bigger problem if it weren't an obvious response to Quick's own error. As such, the penalty is present but heavily softened. After that, the balance in the battle was excellent and fair. As such, all points lost in this section, for both of you, can be traced back to the early battle posts.
Omega: 18 / 20
Quick: 16 / 20
Length: I had no problems here. Every post seemed to have a natural, workable length relative to its content with no obvious padding or lack of substance.
Omega: 10 / 10
Quick: 10 / 10
Emotion: I felt that both of you stayed true to your characters. Shifts in behavior seemed natural and motivated, rather than contrived and forced. That said, Omega devoted more time to building on and expressing Kosoku's emotions and mental state. Since Rik is clearly not as talkative or flamboyant as Kosoku, this is perfectly understandable from a dialogue standpoint. However, I would've enjoyed a bit more insight into Rik's mind and motivations than I got.
Omega: 9 / 10
Quick: 7 / 10
Judge Points: As I feel I've covered everything already, this section's score is simply an average of the scores earned in other sections.
Omega: 9 / 10
Quick: 8 / 10
FINAL SCORES:
Omega: 90 / 100 (A Rank)
Quick: 79 / 100 (B Rank)
KOSOKU WINS
70 EXP / 700z for Kosoku
35 EXP / 385z for Rik
((Unless you both post finishing posts... then it's 75 / 750 and 40 / 440))
