So I came across this the other day and took it for Finale. I got a seven. >_> I swear, I had no idea how that happened. Anyway, post your score here and compare and contrast! (Read the instructions first. Since our chars are in a fantastic setting the score may/may not be off. I think Finale should of gotten higher in reality XP)

Opera managed to get a 9. And it's not the fantasy setting that sets it off, it's the fact that the characters are computer programs rather than people. That single-handedly says "no" to about half the questions. Also, I've actually had that quiz bookmarked for a long time.

Original Character Test: 5
Fanfic Character Test: 2
Took forever... prolly gunna retake it later, to make sure the results are accurate-ish xD And yeah, got two different results for two different versions (kinda) of my main.
The rest of my characters are probably Mary-Sues though, it would seem xD

10 on AD.... still fairly well within the top safe-range.
EDIT: I think I did it wrong >_>
Re-edit: Make that a 1. *fist pump*
Edit3: Now I'm tempted to make a character who will obtain the highest mary-sue score possible....

easy, make sephiroth, but make him a prettyboy hero that everyone falls for, has all the powers possible, is a vampire and a werewolf, and is a human. Also he can do anything with no circumstances.
I did Ruin and got 27, then when i included guitar it went down to 20. As that, i'm perfectly fine, I prefer my characters a bit more fantastical. I see nothing wrong with making characters a but unrealistic.

Auto-points for describing things, goooo!
Toxin rocks in at a 12. Maelxus gets a 36. Some of those might have been Universe commonalities that I didn't think about... something about 4 viruses ("animal companions") and a resurrection ability. ;D TOTAL DENIAL TOTAL DENIAL TOTAL DENIAL

Remember, if it's normal for the universe, you don't have to check it. Among the things that are normal in this universe are infinite resurrections, and an inability to form scars.

Out of Character This might be a fun bump. So I do so.

Bump Accepted
Phen got like 38, But I think I might have been overly generous for it. Most situations might not have even applied, though perhaps he's gotten more mary-sue as time has passed.
Not done Ruin yet, I bet his is way up there.

Totally doing this later for my own guys. After skimming through the test, my predictions are:
Remnant: Prolly 20-30. Warrior: Probably less than 5. Those negative points at the end, lololol. Feint: Likely above 30. Regularly described as hot and powerful... Mary is her new middle name. Strike: Definitely near 50. Going for it. Nymphra: Somewhat under developed, so might be lower than it truly is.
Also wanted to reiterate what Phen said a long time ago: there's nothing wrong with getting a high score; feeling like you have to "fix" your character because you scored above 20 could potentially ruin who that character is to you (and everybody else), or it could lead to an unnecessarily complicated number of retcons like me, haha.
So like the test says: don't feel threatened by the results. Only like 4 or 5 questions REALLY spelled trouble if you answered them wrong. The rest of it is being super critical, imo. Everyone needs "a little Mary Sue" in them; the only bad Mary Sues are the pure Mary Sues (which is Strike's destiny to obtain).
Anyway yeah, scores coming way later tonight.

granted I kinda went fast but Mirror got an 8
ummm... cool? I've always liked his character, never gave any consideration to whether or not he was a marysue
I guess he's not? huh

A Mary Sue in a world full of Mary Sues is rather normal
