The concussive force of this one was truer to sound waves than Void had seen in a while, the swordsman being being drowned in its showy burst. The Navi didn't show much outward expression of it affecting him, merely closing his eyes as though he were fighting in his element. Inwardly, however, he couldn't help but give a groan at such a thing. How did that help anyone, at all? Ridiculous little explosions...[/color] He had always had an issue with those that had this type of fighting style he suppose.
Cutting upwards with his sword, spires of darkness rose from the ground and attempted to skewer Ekrixis through, the swordsman more adapted enough to fight without sight. While it wasn't perfect, it was enough to deal with as he began to move a bit more cautiously forward.

Each shadowy spire hit Ekrixis, however the spires did not pierce his body, instead they moved the navi forcefully upward until he was too high in the air for the spires to reach him, and that's when the navi's vision began to return. Staring downward in Void's direction, the air slowly began to spark and evaporate. Small orange orbs floated in the air and slowly converged into one point as a large energy spark formed just behind Void in the air.

Hearing the activity behind him, Void whirls to face it, raising an eyebrow at the sight of what his foe was making. That... was not a good sign at all. And liable to bring about a lot of pain if not dealt with. Or avoided. The swordsman turned around and jumped into the air, using the spires he had created as footholds in order to elevate himself. If his opponent was going to continue to stay away, then he would just bring the fight up close again. ...And staying around what was likely to be an even bigger explosion was never a good idea.
Hopping off the final spire, the Navi of shadows disappeared for a moment, before a slashing sound was heard. Flashes danced about in the air as slashes were made at the explosion-user, weaving closer and closer into a cage before Void made his appearance above the opponent, arched in a backflip with Kage pointed at Ekrixis, as a blast of shadows shot forward from the tip of his sword. The slashes that had been made converged upon the foe, trying to rend through him.
