Location: Green Tempest Outpost (redecorated for Halloween) Intro Post: 1 Battle Post: 8 Story Version: On Version Bonus: On Judgement: Single Judge (requesting) ------------------------------------------------ Jinko was back in Green Tempest. He didn't see Xyz or Airman there. He took another look at his locket, and the picture of the beautiful Serix.
"Worry not my love, the ONB will pay for what they did to you."
He closed up his locket once more, and grabbed his sword.
"Time to train...but I have no-one to train with." (1/1)

Opera appears, since she's apparently decided to follow some arcane "plot" she babbles about.
Opera: I'd be willing to train with you. I'd by "train with you," I mean "delete you," repeatedly if necessary. Oh, and incidentally, lead is, in fact, Pb on the periodic table. I don't expect you to know why that's important.
(1/1)
(OOC: Opera's technically a version below you, but actually has more statistical ability. I have no idea how that would be represented in a role-play battle, though.)

(SWOOSH, im not a judge, but you'd RP that as still being weaker. if you've beaten him multiple times in stats then Instory you could exert some power over him, but for RP battles it doesnt apply)

(OOC: thank's for clearing that up phen. Also, Serix is Jinko's late girlfriend that i made up around the time of his somewhat OP mini-story. Might make stats for her later on. Speaking of stats, didn't you say you'd check his V'd up stats?) ------------------------------- The other navi's words made him laugh a bit.
Jinko: Fine, fine, but don't expect me to go easy on you. It really annoys me when someone comes right out and says "I'ma delete you." I mean, you could at least try to have a little fun.
At this point Jinko's blade was already out. He decided that he had fooled around long enough. He rubbed the rabbit's foot that he always carried, giving himself a bit of a speed boost. He would not hold back in this fight, There would be no point. He sort of "appeared" in front of Opera, not using his blade, but rather bunching him hard enough to send him back several yards. One who looked closely enough would be able to see that Jinko's fist did not really make contact with Opera, rather, it was the wind that followed due to the speed with which he moved.
(OOC: thanks be to Kosuko)
He then drew his modified Colt45's and fired a relentless barrage of bullets, changing clips as needed.
Jinko: come on, let me have some fun.(1/8)

Opera was not surprised by the punching and guns, otherwise they would not have worked. She picks herself up, dusts herself off, and all in all seems to ignore the fact that she's being shot at repeatedly. Oh, it was dealing plenty of damage, all right, but her near-complete lack of anatomy means that it takes a while for her to take an opponent seriously, even when she's outmatched.
Opera: That is not how you treat a lady. And I at least identify as female, so pay attention to pronouns. But on I babble about things that probably make no sense to you.
Opera attacks, in a way. She simply sets to work deleting Jinko directly. This would take some time, due to the sheer complexity of Navi data, but she ensured that avoidance would be near-impossible. He might realize something was going on, but Opera would seem to do nothing as Jinko's code unravels.

Jinko notices that something is happening alright, peices of his code are unraveling.
Jinko: hmph, this is nothing.
He attacks Opera head on, slashing at her 4 times while his sword seems to emanate a darkness that would strike fear into anyone that might be watching.
Jinko: Wow, this is fun already!
With this, there would be another hail of bullets aimed directly at center mass.
Jinko: It'd be great if you actually did something though.
Jinko would then knock Opera into the air, releasing the many smaller swords that made up his larger sword. The swords would seem to hang in the air around Opera as Jinko would jump up to the first blade and begin his assault. He would dash to each blade in the order that they snapped into place, cutting Opera each time he did so. He would appear above Opera to deliver the final blow.
Jinko: Miss me?
He struck downward with all his might, quite literally intending to kill her.(2/8)

Opera continues to take hits without apparent response. She laughs as Jinko aims at her center mass, knowing that there's nothing important there. She then gets pretty much thrown around like a ragdoll, priding herself on her ragdoll physics. The final blow, by complete luck, actually managed to go right between her eyes, clipping them slightly and dealing actual, important damage.
Opera: Did you really expect to defeat me this early? I'm booked for a much longer fight than that. And I am doing something; notice how you're slowly coming apart? That's me.
Opera continues her work deleting her, but secretly starts to worry about her foe's abilities. His former job was at a casino, and casino Navis are known for getting lucky. He actually might have the advantage.

Jinko: Hm? You seem worried about something. You probably figured out what i'm really doing.
Jinko knew luck was on his side in this fight. He slashed at her midsection, then fired a single bullet at her head. After which point he let loose a hail of bullets, which seemed to have no end.
Jinko: Mabe you're realizing that your "attack" as you put it, has no real effect on me.
He said that, but really, he was in pain.
Jinko: Well, whatever the case, I can assure you that I will not be deleted here.
He would then charge energy into his sword, and release it in wave form at her as he struck the ground in a sort of flowing motion.
Jinko: Just give up already.(3/8)

Opera again takes the hits, but is getting more and more worried. However, the worry seems to stem from sheer insanity rather than any belief in loss.
Opera: Oh my me! We still don't know how this fight will be decided! All I know for certain is that it won't be decided by you.
Opera decided to play some mind games with her foe while she waited for him to disappear.
Opera: You may think you're tough, but you believe in love. You believe a mere collection of code can feel love, and it's breaking you up inside, just as I'm breaking you up outside.
Jinko's code continues to unravel, as Opera works on deleting him. She can tell that he's trying to fake a lack of effect.

Jinko: While my code may be unraveling, it's really just recombining somewhere else, so I'm not really being deleted as you say I am.
As Jinko said this, his code that was being unraveled was recombining, but it was covered in darkness, unlike the rest of him. He continued with an unending barrage of bullets.
Jinko: This is getting boring. You're just standing there while your so called "attack" does all the work for you.
He would continue his bombardment, not caring if his code got unraveled, or if he died. Nothing mattered anymore.

Opera keeps taking shots, laughing at her foe's lack of perception.
Opera: My "attack" is me doing something. That something is deleting you. And deletion can be reversed, of course, but it's still a problem for Navis.
Opera idly wondered how long this would take. Getting shot at isn't pleasant, after all.

Jinko: Seems you forgot the most important rule of a fight.
Jinko bumped up his speed a bit more.
Jinko: Never...
He jumped up into the air, bringing his sword down upon her head.
Jinko:...underestimate...
He would then knock her into the air once more, as he began his aerial blade dance once more. In the end, he combines it with one of his other attacks by charging energy into the blade and releasing it in a wave at Opera.
Jinko:...your opponent.
Some of his data had recovered as he had reached a certain point in the battle.(5/8)

Opera continues to take attacks, and the large amount of damage inflicted on her was starting to show. She laughs as Jinko tells her not to underestimate opponents.
Opera: You'd have to be pretty stupid to underestimate someone who's removing you from the fabric of existence, but you've somehow managed it. Congratulations, you're a hypocrite. Your prize: deletion!
Opera continues deleting Jinko, while also continuing to be smug despite the disadvantage she was at.

When it got to the point where Jinko would have been deleted, something happened. It was something that Opera might not expect. His data reformed and the deletion stopped, wheter she wanted it to or not. His entire being became dark.
Jinko: Miss me?!
The pitch of his voice had risen, and he had come back stronger than before.
Jinko: Times up!
He jumped into the air, striking down at her once more. Then he pulled out his guns and formed them into somewhat of a wave cannon.
Jinko: Bye!
He released the charged beam of energy at Opera, hoping that she would not survive, but having a feeling that she would.(6/8)

Opera realizes that her foe has gone DarkSoul, putting him at an extreme advantage... Until she hits her own DarkSoul, that is. She calculates that this will happen immediately, due to the now even larger disparity in power between the two of them.
Opera: You know how people die when they are killed?
Opera, her body damaged almost beyond repair, has her entire body, save eyes, disappear.
Opera: Well, I'm not a person! Welcome to die!
Opera, now in DarkSoul, temporarily puts off deleting her foe, knowing that his DarkSoul has made him immune to even her attacks. There would be no point in either of them attacking until their DarkSouls wore off.
