~Kosoku Kronicles 1: All in a day's work~
“I don’t think so!”
I looked down from atop a rather tall tree in a park on the Electopian sever. My mighty physique, clad in green and silver armor, blended well within the leaves of the tree. The 3 Navis below had looked up in an ignorant curiosity, staring past branch and light to see the shadow of my figure. 2 of them were rather gruff looking: large, dark in color, mean looking… You know. The stereotypical criminal appearance you’d expect to find such troublemaking Navis. The much smaller, nicer looking Navi had a river of tears flowing from his eyes and a distraught look on his face. It was obvious that my service was needed in this situation.
“Huh?”
“Who the hell are you?”
Typical. Of course the scum of the net would have scum for brains. It was obvious that they needed to be put in their place, followed by a crash course in 'Famous Navis 101'. I leapt from the tree, my marvelous scarf flowing in the wind as I landed near the duo of misfits. I gave a charming smile to the smaller Navi who seemed to be composing himself. No doubt my charisma gave the kid the strength he needed to plug up the dam of emotion that was spilling out.
“Heh. Who am I, you ask?”
By this point, many other Navis were beginning to stare as the scene before them unfolded. This was my chance to shine, and I certainly wouldn’t give a disappointing show. In the blink of an eye, faster than light itself, I kneed one of the bullies right in his stomach. I had knocked the breath right out of him, leaving him in a state of shock from my display of power.
“I am Speed incarnate.”
I punched him right in the jaw with a similar speed.
“Untouchable!”
I grabbed his arm and threw the Navi right at his partner, spinning as I did. The other piece of undernet filth wised up and got out of the way, leaving his partner to hit the dirt with a rather loud thud. These guys were nothing compared to me. My perfection and speed were leagues above whatever grade of dirt these two classified themselves as. I wasn’t about to let them off so easily though.
I raised a finger to the sky, declaring myself before the world. “I am the swift Wind: nature incarnated into data. I am here to ensure degenerates like yourselves see punishment before the good people of Electopia. Just as the wind is everywhere, so too is my ever watching eye over this city. Prepare yourselves for nature’s fury. Prepare yourselves for the storm. Prepare yourselves for Kosoku!”
Showing an impressive display of the very element I call myself by, I created a tunnel of wind around my arm as I jumped towards both of the Navis faster than the wind itself. As soon as I was upon them, I let out a scream as I punched the air right in front of them.
“AAAAAH!”
Typhoon-force winds were released at my call. Wind accelerated quickly from my punch, sending both of the Dark Navis flying out of the park and onto a nearby road. The trees swayed violently at the power of my Unbeatable Punch, displaying my raw strength to the audience. That would be all that was required for this fight. The cyber bullies had already run off in fear for their lives, and it seemed like they wouldn't be back for awhile. I don’t blame them, honestly. If you try to stand against a tornado, you’ll get blown away.
I turned my attention back towards the kid, who was awestruck and my amazing abilities. With a friendly smile, I walked over towards him and gave him a good ol’ thumbs up. “You’re safe now. You better be more careful in a place like this. You never know wha-“
…My words would fall on deaf ears. The little brat had run away just as I had approached him. I guess he didn’t know how to act in the presence of perfection such as myself. Ah well. I gave a disappointed sigh as I watched the kid run off down the street before he disappeared. I guess he went back to his owner.
Nevertheless! I have left my mark in this park. The citizens of this little piece of nature would no longer have to worry about villains showing up ever again. They would know that Kosoku was watching over them, and that they could depend on me to keep them safe. So long as everyone knew that they could count on me, it didn’t matter if they ignored me…
…Well maybe it did. But still. All in a day's work!
