A loud 'sprong!' sound accompanied the immediate deflection of Energeist's blast of plasma. Li's head turned in his attacker's direction as the glitches and bug fragments of the network began to converge in front of the puppeteer as he spoke.
If that's how you're going to play it fine, the gloves are off! I'll BRING Samhain to this network by displacing him from the past to here!
One of the many portals he had taken from Samhain was summoned as the glitched and buggy data poured into it from the immediate area, it all drawn in by Li's temporal abilities and the rotation of the portal itself.

[Enter Shade]
A shining black beam of energy shot towards the ground. In it's wake, a navi clad in a red cloak seemed to be standing in the midst of the combatants. The first thing he noticed, was a navi that looked nothing like most navis he had met. The first navi he approached was the former general himself.
"You there, where am I? Actually, disregard my last, you seem to be in need of employees. I, good sir, can assure you that I can be quite the asset."
((OOC:Yeah, I know, probably not my best plan to spawn into a battle-field and strike up a conversation))

As he was walking away, Warrior heard an uncomfortably familiar voice scream at another -- or rather, a collection of voices screaming at another, following an explosive sound and a "sprong!".
It was that Energeist creature that had just recently attacked him.
" ... I should probably leave before that guy goes haywire again."
He paused in his steps, still facing forward though, to listen to the argument that was going on several hundred yards behind him. The others were far away enough that, unless he listened really closely, Warrior wouldn't have been able to hear anything aside from their yells and screams.
If that's how you're going to play it fine, the gloves are off! I'll BRING Samhain to this network by displacing him from the past to here![/sub]
Warrior's eyes widened as he heard Li's remark. He could feel the atmosphere of the area shifting slightly, like it did during the Autumnal Assault.
" ... No."
He turned around, seeing bugs and glitches gathering near the center of the group of navis.
But it could have been coincidence? He could have just heard something wrong, right?
"... Nooo No."
He shook his head as he saw the portal opening up before Li. There was no denying it -- Samhain was coming back, if no one interfered.
" NoNO NOOOOO!!!"
Warrior made a mad dash back to the other navis, not really worried about the fact that he was outnumbered. He didn't even draw his weapons -- he was primarily focused on sprinting across the huge distance between him and his destination.
Even as he drew closer, he knew he wouldn't make it in time. It was almost inevitable, to watch that monster be brought back into this dimension.
Deep down, he knew he couldn't stop it -- but he'd regret not trying.
After all, when Samhain made it through... Someone would have to be there to send him back.
The only issue was that, Warrior would soon find himself facing against a giant that he couldn't defeat with the help of several others. And beyond that, there was a fair-sized group that would probably defend Samhain from the smaller opposing force that was Warrior.
Outnumbered and outgunned... Warrior's mind rushed to assess possible approaches to this situation as he continued frantically running into the fray.

Events occurred so quickly that Nightwind had trouble keeping up mentally, let alone physically. The advisor was frozen. Energeist attacked and was deflected. Some stranger showed up to annoy him. But it was the last event that really caught his attention.
He turned to Li and shouted. He'd already done more than enough to become an enemy. But even he couldn't realize the full gravity of the situation - the implications of his actions.
"You IMBECILE! Samhain can't exist anywhere but his own dimension this time of year! Pull him out of the past and he'll be transported back home the instant he enters the present! The timeline will be thrown into chaos! Everything will change! The world could become unstable!"
Nightwind was no expert in temporal or dimensional science, but he knew how his Master's powers worked. For the most part, at least. He knew enough to be certain that this was a terrible, terrible idea. Still, he didn't know how to stop the summoning. All he could do for the moment was warn of the danger.
Meanwhile, Xyzillentz was still a statue.

Nightwind shouldn't have said that. Nope, those were the worst words he could have said to Li.
You mean to tell me by pulling him back here I can make the entire world unstable?
He sped up the portal's rotation immediately after finishing that sentence. But as he did so he could only help and wonder if it was actually going to be successful. He never actually pulled someone from another place and time before, so it was odd that he'd be trying to do so now without any kind of guide besides the time he personally had botched up one.

*As Li prepares to finish his summon, a sudden rush pushes against him while distracted. The push freezes his aura in place, and by extension, Li as well. Behind the puppeteer, the form of the Armored Destroyer breaks light, still somewhat damaged from the previous battle against Samhain in spite of the length of time that it had been, with his glowing blue hands sunk into the dimensional Navi's aura; finding himself unable to pierce it, but more than able to hold it in place using his superior physical strength*
?: I don't care why you're doing this....
*A set of spikes plant themselves into the ground on the sides of the destroyer's leg armor, anchoring him in place as he grips the titan-aura with every fiber of his being*
....I WON'T let you defile my home any longer!
*With a solid white flash, the destroyer unleashes a barrage of explosives from his arm-mounted cannons while releasing Li's aura, knocking the puppeteer away and thrusting him into the center of the circle, shattering the energy field that it had created. He then recoils both arms, raises one to the air, elongates the barrel of the attached cannon into something of kin to a rifle barrel, then fires off one last explosive shell. While not powerful enough to do anything more than knock Li himself off balance slightly, the explosive shock-wave tears the summon ring apart, causing the interdimensional energy to warp wildly, no longer stabilized by Li's control

" Yes!"
A shout replaced a mere 'sigh' or relief as Warrior continued his sprint. The sight of a previous ally "saving the day" was more or less something he didn't except, but didn't complain about either.
He didn't stop running, though.
The Armored Destroyer didn't appear to be in much better shape now than he did after the encounter with Samhain. He certainly wasn't in a weak state of being, but it would be safe to say that he wasn't at his strongest, by terms of appearance. Giving the guy some back up for unintentionally doing Warrior a favor couldn't hurt, after all, could it?
As AD finished his flashy entrance and explosions, Warrior had finally drawn near. He stopped dead in his sprint, to the side and just to the rear of the Armored Destroyed is such a way that, rather than sliding to slow down his pace, a powerful gust of wind blew past Warrior's body in the direction he had been running (tangent to everybody there), picking up and ripping away a small chunk of the ground and leaving a trail in its wake as it continued in that direction until dying off.
It wasn't anything spectacular, but enough to get most everybody's attention there -- save for AD, who he was still standing to the side and to the rear of.
" ... I got your back."
No telling whether or not these guys planned on retaliating, but if they did, Warrior made clear which side he was on.
He glanced over to the statued navi, then to Nightwind, then to Li... It was difficult to determine how many sides there were, at this point. Were they working alongside Li... or against him?
His eyes moved over to Energeist, then. The crater caused recently by that one's attack was still fresh in memory, and Warrior's body was still slightly aching from taking such a blast.
He avoided fighting the creature before... but if things kept up, perhaps they'd "cross blades" after all?

*As Warrior draws near, it quickly becomes clear that the destroyer actually stands in the same shape he was near the end of the previous battle; battle worn and weary from the beating he'd taken. Not aknowledging Warrior, the battle Navi retracts the anchoring spikes from his legs and falls to one knee, panting fairly heavily as he looks up, watching to see what happens next...*

Warrior's head snaps to the Armored Destroyed as he sees him fall to a single knee, displaying a rather exhausted posture.
" ..."
Weapons drawn, Warrior steps to the front of the Armored Destroyer and holds them high as if preparing to retaliate an impending ambush.
" Alright... I guess I got your front side."
Time to prepare for the worst.
Small, bright particles began to materialize in the air around Warrior, only to be drawn in and absorbed by him as he gathered strength. A very, very soft humming sound could be heard as he continued to charge, although as each small orb was absorbed, nothing was optically different about Warrior.
The sky grew slightly darker, though no rain fell nor thunder growled.
The daggers in each of Warrior's hands, if one were to look closely, appeared to flash ever so softly about every second -- almost as if perfectly synchronized with the rate of Warrior's pulse.
He locked gaze which each of the others present, one at a time for just a moment before moving his eyes to the next -- he sort of neglected Shade until now, and couldn't really determine where he stood in all of this. Regardless, he addressed him along with the rest.
"... We done here?"
Hopefully they were. He still wasn't exactly in the mood for more fighting -- unless that fighting would accomplish something beneficial. For the sake of the world, that is.
Warrior's mind was mostly focused on finding a way to restore Creamland or finding a way to defeat the strange creature that had just eradicated him and a group of allies. He didn't have the time to get ganged up on by a bunch of no-gooders -- but if it were to prevent them from summoning Samhain back, or to prevent them from attacking AD, then priorities could take a back seat.

Seeing the destruction that was to come, Shade relished in the pain he would soon bring to others.
"I have no qualms for the moment, but rest assured, this peace shall not last for long."
Unbeknownst to the others, Shade had detached a finger, forcing it into the form of a small bat. Follow the large one, find out as much as you can about him. was the mental order given to said bat, the small familiar had no choice but to comply, staying at a high enough altitude to be out of danger for the moment, yet low enough to hear everything that was going on. The rest of Shade's body stayed near Nightwind, while keeping an eye on the navi with Split personality disorder.

Li didn't bother getting up from being shot into his own dimensional energy field, he had thought he'd just rebound from it upon contact, however when the ring encasing it vanished and was pulled into the energy field and was gone. A static filled voice practically yelled at the Armored Destroyer. Its volume was inconsistent, and at times it even seemed like he was speaking from a farther distance than usual, and others he was clear as day.
You screwed up the...restoration of...I don't even know how to prevent any possible back.....corrption would have not existd if...crashing onto...
And then pure static changed into silence as the interdimensional energy field expanded and then seemed to remain for a short while longer.
There wasn't any sign of his data anywhere. At the present time. But before Li had disappeared, he saw a bright pink figure sitting upon some kind of crate at the outpost, watching the scene from afar, warmly, quietly and happily.

Day breaks overhead... but wasn't it already day? No matter, it's even more day now. A brighter day, if you will. ((Hoo hoo hoo!)) Especially for being in the middle of a Dark Dimension colony, there's something in the-
Oh wait. Whoops!
Skipping ahead ((Hee hee hee!)) and now unskipping back!
Moments in the past, just as Li disappears and the portal expands, that's when light starts to break over the area. It isn't obvious at first, but the portal is the source: As it closes, deep within its furthest reaches, a light passes by as though a passerby shining a torch in on this reality, momentarily brightening all of it. ((Sun!)) With a final massive static burst, the attempt at summoning Samhain from the past and paradoxically fixing the world is quashed. ((Day!))
Annnnd, coming back ((Tee hee!)):
Something flicks past the party, just outside their field of vision. Warmth beats at their backs. Especially for being in the middle of a Dark Dimension colony, there's something in the way the light feels that illuminates the very soul. ((Light!)) A feminine voice from behind the group chuckles lightly, and the shining casts shadows in front of them. ((Oohoohoo!))
