Energeist's eyes were closed as they floated in place, their arms folded over their chest. The remnant data that floated around made them curious...about whoever had survived such an attack. The landscape didn't show damage, but there was no doubt that there had been a battle, here. And yet, there was the sound of something approaching them.
They opened their eyes as the Navi passed by them, offering what might have been a warning, had not the bloodlust spiked within the navi-conglomerate. "Not...safe?" the deepest voice inquired, though the question was rhetorical, as the other kept moving past him.
"Not safe...for whooo~?" another spoke, under their breath, keeping the other from hearing it.
"Trouble...? Heh..." the third voice spoke, and the creature gathered a bit of plasma as it watched the other go. But the charging quickly died off, and the eyes narrowed as it watched the retreating back of the other navi.
"He isn't weak," the tactician spoke, causing a tumultuous response from the others within them.
"Weak or not, he can't survive. Nothing survives."
"Let's kill him...kill him~!"
"One shot...one kill..."
The form of Energeist finally moved, turning to face Warrior's retreating back. Extending their arms outward, palms facing forward, Energeist felt their power increase, channeling the raw plasma into their palms. "I think it is you, who has run into trouble!" they roared before releasing two bursts of raw plasma, each with the power to level a small building with ease.

" ... Wait... what's he--?"
Before he could finish mumbling, Warrior was cut short by Energeist's reaction.
Certainly not something he expected, either.
Crossing both arms infront of his body, Warrior braced himself for the oncoming enemy fire. As the blasts made impact, Warrior held his ground against the burning plasmatic energy that seemed to completely engulf him and his surrounding area for a few seconds, before it finally died down after completely eradicating everything around him.
He found himself still standing in a cloud of dust -- what had just recently been the "ground" beneath his feet was now nothing more than a large crater, of which he was at the center.
The smoke cleared away rather quickly -- Warrior's body still burning pretty badly from the impact. He began to wonder how he was able to endure such a strike.
" ..."
Without missing a beat, Warrior grabbed the two daggers that were recently hanging on a chain near his waist. The enemy was far, so these weapons wouldn't fit the situation.
As he drew them up to his chest level, as if pointing them at Energeist, the daggers began to totally shift shape -- mechanically rearranging themselves in a manner far too quickly to follow with the average eye from mere knives to ornate handguns aimed directly at Warrior's attacker.
He paused for a moment, before evaluating his thoughts and the situation.
" ..."
Warrior's complexion seemed to almost inherit a faint, cyan glow that was beginning to slowly fade away, as if Energeist's attacks had left some sort of residue on him that he could still feel radiating from his body.
Lowering the weapons, Warrior turned around again and began to continue walking.
" .... I'm not in the mood."
The true motives behind denying a retaliation to this enemy would remain a mystery to anyone. One could assume that Warrior just had more pressing matters on his mind than to spar with some "sociopathic lunatic", as he would've called Energeist... Or perhaps he really just wasn't in the mood for the fight?
Regardless, his intentions were kept to himself.
Still in the area, Warrior paid no further attention to the other creature that was still lingering about, but was prepared for evasive action, should it continue to attack him. READ (Highlight): I didn't leave... because I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to, after just being ambushed or whatever... IDK, I'm still getting used to the new RP Rules xD
Fun fact -- this is like, the second/third consecutive post of Warrior "walking away form the area" >.>
... He's just a slow walker <.< >.> <.<

With everyone leaving, Xyzillentz was beginning to feel a bit bored... something he was not fond of in the least. For a while he considered looking for Xion, who seemed to have disappeared, or messing around with Samhain's horse warrior. But the familiar glow of the plasma phantom was enough to pull him out of his slump. He hadn't seen him since they'd fought together against a troublesome group of do-gooders. Xyz had been deleted; he was hoping the same fate had not befallen Energeist. Even if he hadn't done it himself, it would still be gratifying to know his attacker was slaughtered.
The toxic terror walked over to Energeist, a sincere smile on his face - it looked rather out of place on his scaly head. His arms were spread open wide in greeting as he approached the sinister specter.
"Geist! Nice to see a familiar face here. I was worried I'd only have those weird demon-things for company if I stuck around. Not that they can't be fun to play with..."
He paused for a moment to remember how he'd entertained himself with one of the mid-level soldiers during the invasion. It had truly been an exquisite moment. Of course, it had gotten him saddled with that annoying little kid... but it was best not to dwell on that.
"I'm sorry I didn't regenerate near you after the battle... I had to wait a bit and I wasn't sure where you'd be. Tell me, dear... did you manage to finish off the last of our attackers? Was it... gloriousssssss?"
His tongue vibrated rapidly as he allowed himself to hiss the last sound... a rare embellishment he reserved for special occasions.
Nightwind, meanwhile, was surveying the area. He was looking for any potential signs of corruption, though there were none visible. He was also looking for Xion, his new master. He was used to being told what to do at every turn, and this sudden lack of communication didn't sit well with him. Yet he didn't want to leave behind Xyzillentz, either; he was advisor to the governor and also his superior. If Xion was not present, he reasoned, then the snake would be the next link down on his chain of command. The thought wasn't a pleasant one. He could deal with simple, powerful, cruel evil like Samhain and Xion's. That was also present in Xyzillentz, of course - he'd seen as much when he'd come across the native darkloid torturing one of his soldiers. But there was something odd about that fellow he just didn't feel terribly comfortable with.

Energeist watched the other absorb the impact of the blow without so much as a scratch on him. "Might...be a...bad idea..." the raspy voice spoke, though the figure didn't pause in their movement, simply hovering a foot or so off the ground, arms folded over their chest. "Stronger...than he seems..."
"I could kill him~" the light, tittering, almost feminine voice spoke, but it seemed that most of the minds that made up Energeist were of the decision that Warrior was not worth the chance or effort. "You're all no funnnn~" the voice said, a definite pout in there. Still, the form of Energeist did not move, still watching the retreating form of Warrior.
"There are still things that exist that are stronger than we. We will need to gain more power," the main voice spoke, the right fist clenching as a storm of plasma gathered about it. They debated whether or not to launch another bolt of the raw energy at Warrior, before the gathered energy slowly faded back to nothingness. "And dying here won't solve anything."
Then the collective became aware of another approaching and they turned, a bit of plasma building...but it instantly vanished as they recognized their old friend: Xyzillentz. "It's been some time, friend," the main voice spoke.
"Hi Xyzie~" the light voice called out, seeming to be the happiest out of the voices to see their old comrade.
"Killed them...all..."
"Wasn't a darn speck left of them. Deleted them all, the bastards. I'd do it again, too..."
"I'm mostly glad to see you in one piece. After that fight, we had wandered into Creamland to look for something to play with..."
"Then the sky shook, and baaaammm~"
"Our data was shattered by...something."
The collective gave a single shrug. "After some time, our data pieced itself back together in The Forest Network."
"We feel...different..."
The body gestured to the landscape. "So why's everything all messed up, Xyzie~?"

Xyzillentz had forgotten about Geist's multiple personalities. He was caught a bit off-guard at first, but he adjusted to follow the conversation rather quickly. He didn't really mind this interesting trait; he found it entertainingly erratic and chaotic. And besides, all of them at least seemed to like him.
"That was probably Samhain entering our world. He was a massive, powerful, evil lord from a place called the Dark Dimension. He came here with a small army and took over the island. He's the one who did all the redecorating. I quite like the new look of the place, myself. I joined Samhain's forces and we defeated the resistance, and these little demonic creatures from his world moved into the city. Creamland's network is now the Dark Dimension colony on Earth. And I just so happen to be advisor to the governor." He made that statement with an obvious bit of pride.
Nightwind, hearing the story being told, turned to face the navis holding the discussion. He felt it unwise to share details with an outsider... in his experience as a general, information was best when kept from as many people as possible. But he knew it was not his place to question the actions of a superior. And besides, it seemed that Xyzillentz knew this fellow, so at least it was not a stranger. Still, he watched and listened to the proceedings carefully, staring with a blank, cold expression.

Energeist blinked once, slowly, at the explanation he was given for everything that had happened. So it seemed that thunder they'd felt, the power that shook the skies...had also done this to the landscape? Interesting, without a doubt. The Plasma Phantom looked about, as if re-appraising the new style before giving a single nod. "I approve."
"So what of this...Samhain? As this place is still as...modified as it is, I would wager that his power is quite strong?" The tactician in Energeist was thinking things through, trying to determine an appropriate course of action.
"We still wanna invade the reeeaaaaaaalll world~" the high-pitched voice spoke, sounding a bit /too/ excited about the prospect. "Show those humans who the real masters are!"
"We want...power..."
Energeist's form never moved, the voices seemingly just echoing from the form of plasma. "I am happy for you, friend, that you've managed just an esteemed position. But tell me..." the phantom whispered, leaning a bit closer, "does this Samhain require more hands?"
"We'll kill anything that opposes him," the deep voice stated, rather bluntly. "Crush more of this resistance you spoke of."
"Whatcha say, Xyzie?" The figure almost smirked. Almost.

You want power, but can you even handle it?
Li had appeared. Not in his exceptionally loud discharge of whatever those green electric sparks were. His right elbow placed on Xyzillentz left shoulder, leaning in. He spoke to the navi supporting his balance now with a smile, sounding cheery as ever.
This Samhain made quite a mess with whatever he did. As someone who is Extra-Dimensional, I am quite curious how he came about coming here.
His left hand rested on his hip as he looked outward to Creamland's sky and the damaged area below.
How exactly IS this possible?

The second he saw the stranger make contact with Xyzillentz, Nightwind's mane and tail flared up like an inferno injected with gasoline, surging with dark energy. He shouted across the short distance to the unknown interloper.
"How dare you touch a servant of the great Lord Samhain without permission!? Beg for his mercy now or face-"
Xyzillentz interrupted him. "Relax, Nightwind. I can handle this."
He turned his head to face this stranger, maintaining his composure and demeanor remarkably well in spite of the rude interruption. "You should know, dear, that I take physical contact as an invitation to do... a variety of things."

Green eyes shifted over to his right to face Xyzillentz, and they stared at him for a moment until he wrapped his right arm around the back of his neck, grinning widely the whole time.
A variety of things? I'm not sure if you can handle going down that route.
His head turned to face Samhain's servant as he drew him in closer to speak.
I think you'd find it quite hard to move normally afterward...If you can move at all.

"Overconfidence is the sign of a fool soon to fall, darling... you had best be careful. I can assure you my strength and prowess in combat and other... physical activities... are considerable. You seem like a rather weak fellow. Interesting, though..."
Xyzillentz flicked out his tongue and ran it across the other navi's face. It left a trail of saliva, but not the green, toxic, viscous kind; it was clear and perfectly normal. "Tasty, too."
He made no attempt to wrest free of Li's grip... instead, he curled his arms around the other navi's body in a firm embrace, pulling his face in even closer to the stranger's. His hot breath blew against Li's skin in calm, regular gusts.
"As to your question, sweet fool of mine, I've no idea how Lord Samhain does the things he does. I'm a performer, not a scientist."
Since Xyzillentz seemed to be in control of the situation with the latest intruder for the moment, Nightwind refocused his attention on Energeist. He strolled over and considered extending a hand, but thought better of it. He was sure he could take the glowing navi in a fight, but it was still better not to provoke him.
"Hello, stranger. The advisor seems to know you. Perhaps I should introduce myself. I am Gen-"
He stopped himself. He was not a general anymore. It was an obvious truth, but a startling realization. A depressing one, at that. It had become a part of his name, a part of HIM - and now it was gone. He spoke again, the sound of disappointment and sorrow blending with the deep tones of his voice.
"...I am Nightwind. I serve and protect the governor and his advisor." A pause. "...Who might you be?"
The polite phrasing of his question was betrayed by the suspicious glare in his cold, sad eyes.

Tasty. But inedible.
He was disappointed this navi didn't know how Samhain managed his dimensional shift, but no matter. He stared at the performer directly in his eyes before asking a question.
A performer? What kind of performances do you do?

Energeist turned their head slowly to look at the one who had addressed them. "There are more than one in here, friend."
"We can handle enough power to destroy this entire network."
"Bring it allllll dooowwwnn~"
The figure didn't respond further, not seeing the need to, as Xyzillientz seemed to have taken a liking to the fellow. Energeist wasn't about to interrupt his ally, though the higher-pitched voice within the being giggling occasionally at the conversation that the two were having next to them.
After a moment, the other ally of Xyzillentz came forward, looking to greet them. Slowly, they turned their head to look at the other. "We are Energeist," the main voice answered simply, though the fact that the pronoun 'we' was used indicated there was much more to explain. "A being that was forced into existence through battles long past."
"We are forged from the remnants of data of many Navi deletions over years. We are many. We are legion."
"So you're a friend of Xyzie~?"

Xyzillentz cocked a brow. "Inedible? Hardly." His grip around the weaker navi tightened as pink clouds of gas floated out from the vents on his suit, an overwhelming, unspeakable stench filling the air around the mysterious mist as it enveloped the embracing navis. Once Li breathed it in, it would go to work, shrinking him down to a bite-sized morsel... Xyzillentz would lean down with him, not once letting go, and when the time was right... he would toss the little Li into his massive maw. How satisfying it would be for his toxic internal code to digest this cute, sweet little fool, tearing his data to shreds and sending it out through his pores, the streams of data shooting out of his vents and up to the sky in the midst of deletion... just thinking about it made him drool profusely as he opened his mouth in anticipation.
For his part, Nightwind was finding Energeist an interesting fellow... or fellows, as the case may be. He was unsure, however, just how to respond to the question they/she/he/it had posed to him. Would it be simpler to say yes? He didn't think it was true, of course; he didn't even really WANT it to be. But if that was the answer that would make further communication with Energeist easier...
...No. He decided the truth was the best answer. This way he did not run the risk of being called out by Xyzillentz himself.
"A friend? No, no... certainly not. I am merely in his employ. But I would defend him with my life. It is the will of my master."

Golden eyes glowered at Xyzillentz in pure spite.
An Eon ago something like poison clouds would be effective.
He rested his head against Xyzillentz's chest sighing as the pink noxious gas touched his personal space, but as it closed in to his eyes, ears, mouth and nose, it would go through deposition: the process of a gaseous substance changing into a solid instantly, all before having the opportunity to enter his body.
In a harsh and cruel tone, he looked back up into Xyzillentz's eyes once again, shining brightly as he applied a curse passed down by the passages of time: Petrification.
Someone like you, we could never be friends. Really never.
A slight discoloration would creep up and down his body as Li stared at the reptilian navi, his own body phasing through his grip like something incorporeal.
Liang yao ku kou li yu bing, fang ren zhi xin bu ke wu.
Good medicine tastes bitter, be cautious around people who wish harm upon you.
It seems the situation is getting a little too... Rocky.

The plasma phantom glanced at Xyzillientz; they could tell that the snake-headed Navi was getting a bit...antsy. This new fellow was invading his space without a word of permission, and seemed to be taunting and toying with Xyz. Geist knew that meant it wasn't going to stand for long. Still, it was amusing to watch the conversation going back and forth between them.
However, Energeist soon turned their attention back to the horse-headed navi, curious as to his true role. "Employed, hm?"
"Nono. In his employ. He's Xyzie's lackey."
"So you defend Xyzillientz under the will of your master?"
"Who...is that...?"
The fact that the voices waited patiently for the next to speak, rather than all screeching out their words at once, indicated a fair level of discipline from the creature.
However, before an answer could be had, the other Navi, who had been about to be eaten by Xyz, suddenly turned the tables, and had turned the sensual snake to stone. Geist's eyes widened, and before he could control himself, as all personalities seemed to be acting as one, a whirl of plasma gathered around his hand.
"Fool!"[/i][/u] the voices roared, before thrusting an arm forward, sending a super-heated bolt of plasma directly at Li.
