Knowing what his priorities were, Xyzillentz left the young water navi behind upon the arrival of Nightwind. He walked over calmly, nodding to the demons in combat. At one point he dodged a fireball being hurled over his head by somersaulting. When he had sprung back up, he had found himself at the gates, beside the man with the guitar, that young boy's acquaintance, the woman who had introduced herself as Embera, a fluffy being with a stack of pizzas (suspicious, but not terribly threatening) and a female vampire. It wasn't just ANY female vampire, though... after getting a good enough look at her, the sinister singer recognized her as one of the people who had been watching him from afar on the beach in Aqua Net. Sure enough, when he turned his head further he noticed the man who had been there with her was here now too - and AirMan, who had so rudely stolen the spotlight, had betrayed them.
He made walked over to these two, bowing in their presence out of courtesy before standing back upright and speaking. "Hello, you two. Do you remember me? I remember you. It would seem your acquisition from our brief encounter at Aqua Net has gone rogue... but I'm sure you'll find settling for the consolation prize isn't always such a bad thing."

Nightwind, aware that his forces were being quickly overwhelmed, ran out of patience. He hoisted the strange item he was holding high into the air as he recited an incantation in some unknown tongue.
"Toahkin unso tioh fu tiohwarin ohfu Samhain!"
The artifact exploded, an orb of dark energy expanding and engulfing those who had gathered to serve Samhain. Embera, Warrior, Amethyst, Xion, Ruin, Xyzillentz, the fluffball with the pizzas, and even a nearby green stranger were caught in the blast - but instead of injury or deletion, they were instantly whisked away to another location on the island where they would receive their briefing.

As the fight was ending, Jinko noticed something wrong. Embra and XYZ were no longer there. "Hey, did anyone see what happened to Xyz or Embra?" He didn't exactly like the two, but he hoped that they were safe. "If they don't come back soon, i'll give Kosoku their fish." Jinko uncovered a steaming pile of well cooked fish, on the newly glassed over portion of the beach. "Thank you Embra..." While saying this most cynically, he couldn't help but worry for her safety, and he really didn't want her as his enemy again. As he was thinking this, he walked through the gate into town.

As Nightwing whisked himself and his new allies from the area,Glassman shielded his eyes from the disappearing act. When he opened them again,he glanced left and then to the right, wondering where they had gone off to...
Glassman shrugged his shoulders and then walked back towards the group.
"Well, that was quite anticlimactic..." he said aloud.

Even the snake guy abandoned him. Wave sunk his chin back into his chest closed his eyes.
But something happened... the rain around him -- it stopped. The sound of the fighting was gone as well, and he no longer felt the sand underneath him.
================
He opened his eyes. Everything was solid white. His own body didn't even cast a shadow over the white 'floor' he was sitting on. It felt as if though he were floating in a ball of light.
He heard soft footsteps coming toward him, but he couldn't tell which direction they were coming from. They kept getting louder and louder, as if coming closer.
But he wasn't afraid. He felt a strange warmth in this place. An inner warmth -- one of complete peace and serenity.
A soft hand gently touched his shoulder. "Why are you so sad, Wave?"
The voice was crisp and clear. He recognized it the instant that the first vowel left her lips. Before even looking to see her face, Wave instantly stood up, turned around, and embraced the girl as a few tears trinkled down his cheek. " ... Faith..."
She was exactly the way he remembered her. Same height and everything -- but he had grown quite a bit since his last memory of her. So their hug was now at shoulder to shoulder, rather than at shoulder to thigh.
" You... you never came back..."
Faith separated herself from Wave, just to look him eye to eye in response to his statement.
" I'm here now, aren't I?"
Wave nodded.
" Yeah, but... you can't be real... Feint told me what happened..." " So is that why you're sad?" " Umm..."
" Wave... I didn't run away from home and die trying to find Cherish so that you'd be sad. I wanted you to be happy."
Wave began to tear up at the memory. He fell to his knees, so that he could hug his sister the way he used to, when he was younger and significantly shorter. He buried his head in her stomach as he cried a little more, tormented by the memories and fears of his early childhood.
" You never came back. I knew you wouldn't. I wanted to stop you, but I... I just didn't know how... I'm sorry!"
Faith let him cry, and softly stroked his head while looking adown at him.
" For what, Wave? You didn't do anything."
Faith gave herself room to kneel down, eye-leve with him again.
" It wasn't your fault Wave." " ..." " It was my choice."
Wave hugged her again. It gave him some sort of emotional comfort to hug her. He hadn't been able to in so long, and after he found out she was dead, he thought he'd never be able to. This would probably be the last time that he could, so he savored every moment with her.
" ... But... what am I supposed to do now?"
" You have to go help Warrior and Feint."
" ... Help them?"
" They need you Wave. They're just afraid to admit it."
" But... I'm just a kid... What could I possibly do?"
" Maybe, being a kid is all it takes to get through to those two."
Wave didn't quite understand what she meant. But before he could say anything, she began to slowly dissipate in his arms. He began to reach for her, trying to grab and keep her with him for just a little longer, but it was to no avail.
" Faiiith!"
And then... she was gone. He heard her voice say one last thing, though -- just a whisper, echo'ing back to him as the light around him began to blind and consume him to the point that his vision went to black.
"I'm proud of you Wave. No matter what. But I know you're capable of more than just giving up."
================
Wave opened his eyes. He felt the rain hitting his face again, he heard the sound of the fighting around him, and felt the sand beneath him. He was back.
He heard just another whisper in his ear... saying the same thing 'she' always told him...
" Be strong.... Wave..."
" ... I will... for you, Faith. And you too, Cherish."
Wave got back to his feet. He remembered Finale's invitation -- but he'd been stuck in that trance for about the past thirty seconds. Dusting the sand off of himself, he walked over to Finale, accepting his challenge.
" I'll join the Finale!"
The child-ish tone of excitement in his voice was almost inexpressible for anyone other than Wave. He picked up his weapon, the Swordent -- that is, half sword, half trident -- and stood behind his new role model.
" Let's save our friends!"
================================
Seeing the boy finally get up, Knight decided to join in on the battle. Not many of the little demons were left. He pulled out his sword to slash an approaching imp as it got close to him -- one of the minor grunts -- then used his lance to finish it off. ' One Down'
... But that wasn't much compared to the devastation that the other navi were bringing. ' Every little bit counts, though.'

*With the group now fighting back against the army, it seemed that those on the side of good were already winning. Slowly yet surely, the lines were already beginning to fall back and give them room. However, the process wasn't very fast. The army was powerful, and its numbers numerous. Their power manifest across the battlefield was vicious and blood-thirsty, but the scene was soon to change in a dramatic way.
From behind the group, a burst of white energy flashes with an explosion similar to a gun-shot, resounding even over AirMan's winds. A split-second later, a solid white bolt streaks across the sky in a perfectly straight line, blasting overhead and landing in the midst of the army. With its landing, the shining being explodes into a massive tower of energy, taking out numerous demonic soldiers at once and leaving a fair-sized crater. Then AirMan stops attacking and the scene grows quiet for a moment as a lone figure rises from the center of the crater with its back turned to th group of Navis. His heavy armor and shining golden horns tell the tale as a Navi who had become infamous for his destructive nature stands before the demon army with an expression as hard as flint. Standing with fists clenched, the Armored Destroyer enters the battle*
?: ....I'll not allow you to interfere.....
*With a yell, the destroyer reveals the reason for his renown. Tearing forward with a booster-enabled dash, he litterally tears through the line, shreading Navis along the way with the explosive blows that he had become famed for. One by one, the unholy beings are obliterated with a single punch, while his signature axe-kick cuts them down three and four at a time. Within moments this Navi breaks half way down the lines, his eyes set far beyond the mere ants that even now attempt to threaten him in vain....*

*As the rampage of the Armored Destroyer continued without a hitch, a crimson cloak trimmed with gold landed on the battlefield. It rose up then, being caught by another figure who appeared then. The sword in his hand didn't reflect light, nor did it reflect on the darkness that now blanketed the old Creamland as the onyx blade was held in hand. Purple eyes looked over the forces, and he shook his head in response to them even.*
"So this is what we're up against?"
*The words were spoken as merely a question, nothing else underlining the tone. However, the glint in his eyes did show the height of aggression that he had at the time. Some could say that there were a number of reasons for him to be this aggressive from the start, but he didn't voice any of them. Moving past the rest of the group and joining the charge that the Armored Destroyer had started, he merely swiped his sword despite not being near any of his foes. From this, a black tornado forged of pure energy and nothing but destructive power tore loose, several blasts of energy blasting out along with it. As the tornado decimated the forces, the other blasts crashed into other targets, anything near them being destroyed along with them in the explosion that followed. Stopping at one point, he swiped his blade again, a tear forming in the air near some more of the demonic figures before it exploded, engulfing them and annihilating them in turn. These wouldn't be nearly enough to halt him, yet alone many of the others present. All that mattered was ridding them and moving on to the ones who actually mattered and had to be removed.*

An array of five smaller beams wove their way about the ranks of the demons as they attacked, their range growing shorter slowly as Phenoix descended to just above the endless ranks of demons. Focusing his beams into one once more, he began to take out single enemies at a time. Though with one hand, he moved a blinding speed, focusing primarily on cleaning up in the Armored Destroyer's wake of destruction. Phenoix knew not how he felt entirely how he felt about working on the side of the one opposing one of his closest friends, however the time for disputes among them was for after the battle. He would have to talk with him however.
Genesis on the other hand, was one he was glad to have on his side. With this, the side of the resistance against his Samhain seemed to have the advantage quite a bit.

*With the midnight tornado ripping across the area, the destroyer's attention suddenly breaks. He stands in place for a moment and glances over his shoulder, watching as the monsters filling into the break behind him begin to fall into absolute oblivion. It wasn't more than a moment before they were all gone, at last giving an opeining. In that split second, the eyes of the overlord and the destroyer lock. Without a word, so much is said; the two fighters instantly understand everything and cometo a silent agreement. For the time, two mortal rivals would now work together toward a common goal; the obliteration of Samhain and his forces.
Taking a leap back to cover half the distance between himself and Genesis, the Armored Destroyer charges his energy into his sphirical shoulder-pads, each one sparking with a crimson energy. Landing on the ground and sliding somewhat, the destroyer releases his energy as a pair of crimson beams flash forward and pierce down the lines, one from each shoulder pad with enough spread to cut down a great number of Navis. The thrust also pushes him back even farther as he slides on one knee and quickly sweeps the beam to the side, covering a large number of Navis with the chaotic energy and cutting them down.
Now a few short yards in front and to the side of Genesis, the destroyer stands tall with his temporary ally, the dark red energy still charging in his systems and surging across his form. How long could this truce stand? Impossible to say. However, for however long it did stay, one thing remains for sure; the forces of Samhain now see two forces of raw destruction normally set against eachother turned on them.... and mercy would not be an option*

[Finale] Finale smiled as Wave joined him. 'Good kid' Finale thought as Wave got behind him whilst drawing a funny looking object Finale could only assume was his weapon. With what Finale had in plan, he wouldn't be needing it. "Wave, you see where that crater is that the Armored Destroyer left?" The Armored Destroyer. An evil navi designed only to plow through enemies and blow things up. 'Good thing he's on our side.' thought Finale with a little bit of spite. AD was a murderer, but he had good intentions apparently. Probably just on our side because Samhains a bigger target then anyone there, and knowing how much AD loved to blow things up, the chances are that that was true. "Well, we're going through there, right through and we're going through the gate. No need to deal with the demons, especially considering that we only have so much time." Without any time to give Wave to react, Finale dashed forward, producing his sword 'Whirlwind' and horizontally slashing a demon that got in his way. It didn't come near to killing the demon, but the damage was heavy. Finale wasn't at the point where he could auto-delete things yet, but he smiled because he knew he was getting there. Not one to disobey, Wave followed Finale unhesitantly. Whether or not he knew what he was planning, Wave had faith in Finale's decision to move on from this area. After all, the higher-powered navii had this situation fully under control. There wasn't much Wave felt he could do without getting in the way, anyway.
[Location Change: Pride Wall]
Knight let the boy go. He was in more capable hands now, and the enemies were still coming. Not being the most experienced fighter among the crowd, Knight was only able to take down one at a time without 'risking it'.
Another imp approached him. Still just a grunt, but even those were a challenge for him. As it got closer, Knight decided to take initiative and attack before the target was close enough to hit him first. Pulling out his twin handguns, Knight unloaded a few rounds into the chest of the monster-like creature. It's skin was thick, though, and his weak shots ricocheted off, hardly scathing it.
'Gotta try something else...' The creature was coming closer -- almost in range to physically attack Knight. He put the handguns back -- they weren't doing much good -- and substituted them for his roped dagger. He slung it at the imp -- the dagger pierced its skin and got stuck. While it wasn't in the least bit lethal, it opened Knight up for what he had planned to do next. Tugging on the rope of the dagger, he forced the victim toward him, effectively making the imp 'fall' in his direction, as the dagger that was stuck in its torso pulled it forward in response to Knight's pull.
Close enough now, Knight spun back for a strong kick to the chest of the imp, removing his dagger and falling the imp to the ground. 'Now's my chance.'
While the creature laid face up, Knight jumped high and came down on it, planning to use the sharp tip of his shield to decapitate the beast at the neck. The demon's strength was not to be under-estimated, though. It caught the shield just as Knight landed, and maintained it's hold just inches away from it's neck. ' Nice try, but sad ending.'
An arrow of light short from the shield like a cross-bow, inevitably penetrating the imp's neck, but still not killing it. To his discovery, the foul beast still had enough strength to keep the shield from decapitating it, even as Knight pressed against it with an arrow of light through its neck, pinning it to the floor. 'Persistant little devil...'
But not enough to change it's fate. Jumping up again, Knight landed atop his shield to press down with his full body weight, crushing through the strength of his opposition and forcing his Shield's tip to plunge through the doomed victim's throat, separating its head and body completely. 'Two down.'
Knight picked the shield back up as he stepped off of the carcass of the grunt. The arrow of light diminished as he walked away from the corpse. He was having a much more difficult time with this than the others seemed to be. But... That was no excuse to quit.

*With the forces attempting to stop the invasion already advancing thanks to superios numbers and powers, the Armored Destroyer remains as stone-faced as ever. The blows of this Navi, backed by strength beyond his size and twice as destructive, continuously cause localized quakes as he tears through the front-lines with ease. It was soon obvious that these soldiers, no matter how great their numbers, could not possibly stop this force of absolute devastation.... but they could slow him.
Blasting a fairly deep hole in the army, the Armored Destroyer takes the breathing room as the opening he had awaited. He prepares himself for the coming attack and causes a set of steel spikes to launch from the sides of his leg-armor and plant into the stone ground below. With his stance now secure, he raises both arms to the uncoming forces and waits, watching with great care as they draw near, running like a pack of mindless animals....*

*They both were in complete agreement on this matter, as often as they sought only the other in a fight to the finish. A truce forged between them against a foe that neither would hold anything back against. And even though he admitted it before, he knew full well that the Destroyer held power that even he could feel some respect for despite their status.*
*A simple attack from one of them would make this take longer, so it was about time to attack with a combined effort. Fate crackled with electricity, Genesis flipping the blade before thrusting it into the ground, an array appearing around him as his eyes flashed and the weapon itself flashed along with it. It was a familiar attack at that, one that he knew fit the situation quite well with how he intended to use it. Soon following, an onslaught of swords fired up from the ground, exploding into even smaller swords before surrounding the target in question, converging all at once... upon the Armored Destroyer. The explosion completely engulfing the armored fighter as the brightness of the corona shone forth. Genesis pulled his sword loose, but he didn't have the usual aggressive nature when he would attack, a smirk on his face even. It may have served as a bad experience initially when he used the attack, but now it was a helpful reminder of something else he had learned from the multiple encounters they had now.*

*The destroyer prepares himself to unleash his full rage on the opponents, his very being pulsing with energy as he looks on in silence. The moment quickly drew near as the destroyer digs his feet even deeper into the ground. However, the scene suddenly changes at this point; a set of energy blades, each shining like the sun itself, blast out from the ground with explosive force, forming something of kin to a blazing cage around the destroyer for a split second. Quickly taking a defensive stance, the brutal Navi forces his right leg out of the ground, cracking the stone where he stood as the anchor rips out and folds back into his leg armor. His mind races in the split second as the blades scream skyward; what was this? None of these worthless beings could possibly muster this much power, nor had any of them used anything even mildly like it. It wasn't until the swords began to converge on his position that he realized what was happening.... of all of the attacks, this was one he knew very well.
With a brief glance back to Genesis to confirm his intensions, the destroyer raises both hands to the oncoming storm of blades, his hands glowing bright red in typical fashion for what was to come.
With a flash of power and overwhelming force, the swords converge and the Corona forms. With a micro-sun now formed, light floods the entire battlefield with an oppressive presence, forcing all in the area to cover their eyes to avoid being blinded by the infernal blaze. Then, when the light finally dies, the scene is fully revealed. Standing in the center of the battlefield, the Armored Destoryer stands.... holding the Carona over his head.
With sweat on his brow and pain in his arms from catching one of the Overlord's most oppressively powerful attacks, the destroyer looks on. The forces of Samhain now stand still, lookin on to their fate, which even now looms overhead... but it was not yet over. With the sun still held overhead, the destroyer begins to pour his own power into it, a surge of crimson light sparking out of his body and rising from his very core like a beam. Slowly yet surely, the shining sun begins to grow in size and chaos, surging like a dying star as the crimson energy morphs it, changes it into something far more destructive than either Navi could possibly create alone. Within a few moments, it goes from a sun, burning with power and force, to a highly unstable orb of pure destruction.
With the weapon now at critical mass, the destroyer lowers one arm and holds it with a single hand, his judgmental glare as cold as ever as he looks out over the sea of opponents.... it's then that the entire scene changes once again. A cyclone of red energy rises from the destroyer's single hand and engulfs the chaos ball, causing it to compress in on itself, shining all the brighter, and force itself into the palm of the brutal Navi's hand. The pain of this motion instantly manifests itself as the destroyer recoils as if shocked within an inch of his life, some of the energy escaping from the cracks in his armor and causing yet another flash... the herald of the final form that this attack would take.
As the light dies and sight is restored, the Armored Destroyer stands once again, his entire body surging with energy as he fights against the pain and holds a single arm forward... the barrel of his cannon elongated like a rifle. With his own massive power now combined with the overwhelming force of Genesis, the Armored Destroyer now stands with the silver bullet poised and ready; one attack to end it all. With no time wasted, the destroyer instantly takes aim for the heart of the army and fires with explosive force so great that he's sent reeling back, his arm nearly ripped out of place by the recoil... however, this was hte least of the power. The bomb released flys like a light beam, piercing every creature directly in its path and ripping them apart before impacting the tower behind them. When it makes contact, the explosive shell bursts, releasing an earth-shattering shock-wave from the ball of white light that engulfs the area in a flash of power and glory. The tower that the creatures had been flooding out from instantly crumbles from the blast as the shock-wave tears out across creamlans, obliterating the remainder of the army and cracking the walls of the ancient city.
The earth itself quakes under the magnitude of the strike as the tower crumbles and falls, revealing the way to the inside of the city. With the single attack posed by two overwhelming powers now over, the wide-spread power still resonates with all, but none more than the Armored Desroyer, who now stands several yards back from his original weighted position, his remaining leg-anchor ripped from the ground by force and his body sparking from the damage. However, this does not stop him. Ignoring the pain and those around him, this unstoppable force pushes on, taking off at a dead-run for the new opening without awaiting the rest of the group*
*With the work done, AirMan strolls down through the hold and into the next area*
