Once the national park of the Creamland network, this area takes up the entire shoreline of the island. It is entered via small, heavily guarded openings in the north and south gates of the island's wall, and was once separated into two sections - though the separating walls have since crumbled. The shore is THOROUGHLY guarded. Nets, mines and other traps form a barrier a mile away from the network and create a perfect fence around the area, save the dock. On the shorefront, guard outposts are set roughly 1/2 mile apart in a ring around the island, each one holding a Dark Dimension soldier watching for incoming traffic.
Samhain's Curse has destroyed whatever beauty the park once held. The ocean is treacherous and stormy; the guard ships that once patrolled the waters in the name of Creamland have sank or capsized. The sand on the beach has been replaced by sharp, dark rocks. Playground equipment is rusted, bloodstained, and broken. The plants have died and appear burnt and twisted.
There are two gates in the wall that lead into the inner Nightmare Wall residential area; one at the south end of the island, and the other on the north end.

"GET HER TO SHORE!"
The waves smashed into the side of the little ferry as it was swept away by the storm. The boat was on its route to Creamland to transport Navis from the mainland when the weather took a turn for the worse. Several of the passengers panicked as they were tossed and turned about on deck. The crew was frantically trying to get control, many of them falling overboard or simply panicking with the other Navis. Amidst the chaos that ensued, a Navi with green and silver armor and a long yellow scarf stood confidently on the top deck where the captain steered. The storm didn't seem to worry him or even affect his body. The Navi was none other than Kosoku.
"We can make it! Open the sails and push forward! Don't stop until we hit the dock or crash into the beach!"
The captain yelled at Kosoku. "What are you talkin' about?! We ain't got no sails on this boat! Get to the bottom deck with the other passengers!"
Lightning and rain drowned out most of the captains words. The weather seemed to be getting even worse the closer they got to shore, but the small boat had little choice but to push through.
"Do not worry!" Kosoku's voice seemed to grow in confidence the further into the tempest they went. "Nothing bad is going to happen to this boat, I guarantee it. I, the unmovable Kosoku, will ensure that we do not meet our ends inside of this typhoon. The Wind is on our side!"
"I TOLD YOU! WE AIN'T GOT NO SAILS!"
Crash. One last gargantuan wave turned the ferry over with incredible ease. Like the other boats, this one too was doomed to make dock on the bottom of the ocean. Several of the Navis went down with the boat, while others were lucky enough to not be trapped inside. Kosoku was such a Navi, now at the mercy of the ocean.
The next thing Kosoku knew, he was lying on the rocky beach right by the dock. His head was spinning, and his scarf was completely soaked. He stood to his feet, holding his head as he looked around.
"This is...horrbile!"

((OOC: too good of an opportunity and I can make time for this. Paruga's coming in!))
"And it's up to us to stop it.," A lithe navi walked up behind Kosoku to steady him. He wore charcoal gray pants and a red shirt. He had a gray belt with gray gloves and boots. Perhaps the most peculiar thing was this navi's helmet. It almost formed a circle around his head like a standard helmet, but instead of stopping in the back, a line of sheet metal traced down it, giving the helmet a razor sharp edge.
"My name is Aluminum," the navi introduced. "I don't know about you, but I'm here to stop this menace. Creamland doesn't deserve the terror unleashed here."
~~~~
Surfing the waves as best he cold with his icy prowess, Namkcab the ice giant made his way through the storm. A giant wave overtook him, shattering his iceboard and dunking him under. A few seconds pass by, and then in a burst of sea and spray, Namkcab leaps out of the water in an icy spiral and blasts himself on ice to the shore. He crashed a few meters away from Aluminum and Kosoku, and he promptly made his way over, staying silent."
~~~
Much farther down on the shoreline, a blue navi with a wheel on his back stood, reflecting on what was going on. He felt it his duty to protect this realm at all costs. A diligent navi, the distant one will be fighting until the very end. "This evil will be nothing more than a memory when I'm done." His wheel starting turning, generating elctricity. He was pumping up.
~~~
Sitting on the wall was a small bat. She kept an eye on all who reached the shore. She knew what she was going up against. She knew Aluminum and Namkcab, she knew this was going to be a big fight. Amethyst also remembered, though, that she is planning to join a monster who has taken over several dimensions. She was preparing herself for a war in which she will come out victoriously.
[glow=white,2,500] *Embera dropped through the portal non-chalantly, with only scepter in hand, opting to keep Scruffy out of harms way for now. Seeing the carnage around her, Embera yawned and cleaned her ear out with her pinky before speaking into the open rather calmly.*
Embera: Anyone here I can talk to?
*Her very presence lit through the fog like a lighthouse beacon to the vessel, whether she wanted it to or not. Additionally, any whipping waves coming remotely moderately close to her was evaporated immediately, there was a total dryness around her, and, after cleaning off her finger, she cracked her knuckles, planted the staff in the ground, and twiddled her thumbs.*
[Sheep]
A short while away was Aluminum's custom tailored pet cloudy friend Sheep. Who immediately upon noticing Embera attempted conversation.
Sheep: Well, uhh... I'm here... Uhh.. Hi.
Realizing this was going rather badly, Sheep attempted to use his cleansing processes to clean the polluted wasteland, but to no avail.
[Finale]
Finale: A storm. Mr Sambaing (OOC: Spellchecker iz GOOD) better have a good reason for making me the most pissed off navi in the universe. I come to, and as a gift I get hell's army knocking at Creamland's door. I mean, how hard is it to visit another universe? Perhaps one where we are all robots and there was a cataclysm and the universe got canceled. Next person I see is getting a punch in the face.
The next person he saw was Namkcab, who happened to have revived Finale and was a good 5 V's higher then him. Bad plan. Instead he rushed over and tried to create a bubble of protection from the storm for Namkcab and his party, letting out a quick "Hi, but if you piss me off you are getting a nice V7 punch in the face." Finale obviously isn't the kind of navi you bring to parties. And he gets rather annoyed at evil dictators trying to take over the world.
Through another portal, Xyzillentz stepped onto the rocky beach. He was surprised by the number of navis already here - had his little speech really taken so long? Instead of worrying himself with that matter, he darted his eyes around to see if he recognized anyone.
The first navi he recognized was Finale - the one who had carried him and Trance away from Airman, but nearly died in the process. Well, as much as an organic term like "die" can apply to a digital being. He had been behind him, though... had more portals opened up, unseen? Had Xyzillentz' trip through the fabric of the net taken longer, somehow, than Finale's? There was no real way of telling with this sort of thing, but the idea was supported when he saw the navi he was currently protecting - Namkcab. Or Backman. Xyz still wasn't really sure what to call him.
The outline of someone sitting on a high wall seemed vaguely familiar, but it was hard to put a finger on their identity through the sheets of pouring rain. It was the smaller, green-armored navi on the beach that really caught his attention. It was an old acquaintance of his, from back when he had been exploring the net in his lower versions, before he had met Finale at Aqua Net. He had made an offer to this navi - it would be interesting to see how it held up.
He walked over to Kosoku, ignoring the shiny navi that had been talking to him. "Well well, look at the cutie I've run into. It must be fate, hmmmm, Kos? I'm sure you remember my offer... it's still ripe for redemption. And what better time?"
Knight's data materialized on the beach, near the rest of the navi. Things here were certainly... different than before.
He took a look around, surveying the changes. A few imp-like creatures were roaming around, but far enough in the distance that they didn't interfere with him. It seemed as if 'Halloween Horror Nights' was to be held in Creamland this year.
Not being one to travel alone, nor to take initiative in this situation, Knight decided to stay closer to Aluminum's group as he kept eye on everything going on around. It seemed everyone here was on the same side...
[Finale] Finale: Great, we have enough people that we can survive Embera, now let's find whoever the hell is behind this, shall we?
Finale wanted to get this done with, and quickly. He wasn't at all happy. The virus king honestly needed a nice cup of joe, or perhaps some tea. Finale pondered for a moment if Hell had a cyber coffee, but in the end realized it really didn't matter.
[Sheep] Sheep on the other hand, was still trying to get Embera's attention, he wondered if he even mattered or if Embera even cared. Quite unlikely for the poor guy.
Another navi entered the scene. As he walked across the shore, a little farther away from the rest of the navi, a news e-mail digitalize into a floating, 2-D screen infront of him, explaining the events going on in Creamland.
Attached to the E-mail was a video recording of Samhain's Greeting, but midway through the message Warrior grabbed the document as though it were tangible, and crumpled it up as though it were a piece of paper, throwing it in the wind to get carried into the water and lost in the ocean.
" So... aren't you gunna stop him?"
Wave had come in shortly after Warrior. It'd been a while since he'd seen him, but he still admired Warrior's heroic persona." None of my concern. I'm not from Creamland, so I don't care what happens to it."Wave remained silent, kind of in shock, for a few seconds. That response... couldn't have come from him. Warrior had certainly changed since their last encounter, but Wave still looked up to him.
" Then... why did you come?" Warrior paused a second before answering, as if gathering his thought.
"... Curiosity."
Before Wave had a chance to respond, Warrior continued.
" Wasn't Feint supposed to be with you? Where's she at?"" Fell behind. But I'm sure she'll be here sooner or later."" Hmph."" Why? Were you going to... apologize?" The nerve. Warrior shot a glance at Wave, but decided to hold back his thoughts, just this once, and change the subject.
" ... Listen. Don't worry about me right now. And don't travel in here alone."
Warrior pointed to Embera, across the shore. She was easy to see, as she radiated her usual aura.
" That girl -- her name's Embera. I know her from a little while ago. I want you to stay with her, until Feint shows up."
He didn't show it, but he was pretty worried for Wave. It was too dangerous for Wave to travel with Warrior (and he didn't want company anyway), and even more dangerous for the kid to go it by himself -- or even with a bunch of "lesser navi", as Warrior would have called them. Of all the people Warrior didn't care about, Wave was the least of them. And secretly, he didn't want the kid to get hurt in here."... What about you?"" I said don't worry about me. Now go." Wave nodded obediently and headed in that direction. Head tilted down, and sort of taking his time, as if he were pouting, he made his way to Embera. When he finally drew near, he just stood next to her, arms crossed and head still down, showing obvious signs that he didn't want to be doing this, but he 'had' to. Atleast, he thought he did. With him out of the way, Warrior turned to see everything that was going on. That guy, Samhain, certainly had a way of making himself known. Warrior's own motives he kept hidden. After all, he wouldn't want to blatantly disappoint Wave by telling him what he was really here for.
" No forgiveness... No redemption..."
*On the opposing shore from the other group, a torrent of wind falls from the sky, whiping about as a small cyclone before touching down and tearing into the ground. Dirt and grass rise in the drilling winds and obscure the center of the miniature tornado entirely for a moment before quickly dispursing, revealing AirMan, who now stands on a small patch of barren dirt amidst the grassy field.
Being the first Navi associated with the net's current prime darkloid faction, The Chatoc, to arrive to his knowledge, AirMan looks on with a surprisingly skeptical gaze. The promise of a lawless land did indeed pose much oppertunity for the mafia Navi, yet the lingering thought of a "king" didn't do much to sweeten the deal.
The fortress itself stood with a highly darkened feel already, swarming with this new king's troops. The entire structure looked like something out of Haunted House Monthly.... and to say the least, it struck AirMan as horribly tackey. Unsure of which side would be more profitable, the torrential Navi chooses to hang back and await his unofficial compatriots.... assuming they would come at all.*
[glow=white,2,500]*Embera did in fact notice Sheep, however, ignored him, for his own good, she didn't want to talk to much, considering how tired she was. She nearly nodded off when the spiked cross around her neck pierced her flesh, waking her fully. It was then that she saw Warrior in the distance. Jogging over to him, she laughed at his appearance.*
Embera: Fancy meeting you here partner! It's been ages!
*She had extended her hand to be shaken when she got a good look at him. Something changed...that was obvious, but what?*
Embera: ...You're looking different friend...
*A wily smirk was on her face as she looked into his eyes.*
Embera: ...I like it!...[/glow]
And so they did, falling from a badly placed portal, Ruin landed close by Airman, dangerously so. Down on one knee, he lifts himself up from the ground and looks about. Seeing Airman essentially right next to him, he wanders slightly to put some distance between them. Ruin could see another group gathering on the shore opposite the two, from the looks of them, perhaps the heroes come to save this darkened paradise. Looking up at the castle that stood looming overhead, Ruin found it cliche, but given what the thing said in his announcement to the networks, he supposed it fit. Turning to his breezy compatriot, if you could call it that, Ruin thought at least some small talk was in order.
So. Most of us seem to be here. I like what he's done with the place... Seasons greetings I suppose. Looks like another one of ours is mingling with those on the opposite shore. I wonder when she'll catch on.
Warrior was still surveying the area as Embera approached, so he didn't notice her until she greeted herself. So much for his attempt for solitude.
" Right... It's... been a while."
After responding to her first comment and listening to the rest of what she had to say, Warrior looked down and away. No change of emotion on his face -- it was still just a blank expression. He'd hoped that she didn't expect him to be the same goody-two shoes he once was. And Wave was still following her, as commanded, so he couldn't exactly share his true motives with her at the moment. Rather, he just began a new game of weak deception as he continued to lock his gaze with the ground while the rain and wind blew his hair into the spikey style it used to regularly be in.
" So... I'm guessing you're here to take down who ever's behind all this?"
He could here Wave taking a step closer, as if listening in on the two.
" I umm... have a favor to ask of you, though..."
" I might not be staying here for too much longer. And I'm worried about the kid behind you... Is there anyway you could--" "-- Warrior wants you to babysit me." "... Wave, introduce yourself." " ..."
Warrior shot him a glance. Usually, that kind of glance was all he needed to get Wave into doing something. The assertiveness in his eyes, although the rest of his face was still blank, usually just scared Wave into obeying.
" ... You could just stay and help..."
Warrior ignored him as he gave his focus back to Embera. He tried not to look at her. He wanted to erase every image and memory of his past -- every emotion, he wanted to forget.
" It's just until another friend of his shows up."
Warrior grabbed Embera's wrist and took her a few feet away from Wave, so he could talk to her without him listening in. Contact with her body was still painful to the touch, but the rain in wind helped soothe the burn just slightly. Warrior showed no reaction to the pain.
" Look... he insists on staying here, and he's not that tough. I don't... I don't plan on getting too involved here, but I'll stick around for a while -- hopefully until Feint shows up to take care of him. Please, just make sure he doesn't die -- that's all I'm asking. And he's a little annoying at times, but... just... bear with me."[/sub]
Warrior looked up to her eyes. His emotions were starting to yield, he could feel it. But he fought it just a little longer, just enough so that she would hopefully agree. His own words echoed in his mind, as he locked his gaze with her -- 'I don't plan on getting too involved here'... A lie. But if he could just get her to say 'yes', then it wouldn't matter.
"... Just for a little bit. And just this once..."
Warrior's eyes begged for her assistance, still locking gaze and holding her wrist, yet at the same time trying to hide his emotions and his true motives. Wearing two masks at the same time would only work for so long, though...[/color]
[Sheep] Sheep: Embera! Wait up! Trailing a decent distance away from Embera was Sheep, trying to get the Solar Queen's attention. When he caught up he noticed two other Navis, one blue and childlike, the other cold and cool-looking. Judging from the way the older one was talking, it was possible that he and Embera were in a relationship. Not if Sheep had his way! Sheep mustered all his courage and found the only thing that Sheep had the nerve to yell at the other, older navi:
Sheep: Baa!
As soon as Aluminum reached out to help, Kosoku immediately stepped away. He stood with his hands on his hips and with an unwavering confidence as he laughed at the navi's gesture. "There's no need for concern, my metallic friend. I, the unsinkable Kosoku, will not be beaten by a mere ocean! My indomitible will is the only thing I need to stand!"
Kosoku's head was still throbbing from being shipwrecked, but it was not his nature to reveal any sort of weakness to anyone. He forced a smile before he continued.
"I swear to you that just as I overcame this terrible tempest to arrive on these shores, so too will I overcome this perilous island and defeat that...that..."
Kosoku had already forgotten their enemy's name.
There would be no need in finishing his sentence. The next thing he saw was a marvelous ice Navi surfing through the storm. He looked about the size of any normal navi at first, but as he jumped out of the water's depths, his size became apparent. He was a massive navi, standing a whole head taller than Kosoku. Everything about him screamed power, an attribute that Kosoku could respect. He had even rode through the storm like it was nothing. Other Navis had arrived, but this Navi in particular had caught his eye. He stared in a jealous awe of the Navi, but was quickly torn from his trance thanks to a less-than-friendly face.
"...You!"
It was none other than Xyz.
"I have heard enough of your sinister tongue to last me a life time!" Kosoku kept his distance as he barked at Xyz. "I care not why you wish for Kosoku the rogue Wind to join you, but that does not change my attitude! Leave now, you vile snake, or I will drag you back to your murky swamp myself!"
