IN CHARACTER:
Crusader flexed his arm muscles once he finished transit and upload. His last memories were sketchy at best, but he knew he had been defeated by a particularly powerful Navigator. Even in his current state, he would need to get stronger in order to try to defeat that one again, but that did not mean he couldn't continue his solemn duty. Now that he was loaded back into the system, he began his search anew, looking for any information as to the whereabouts of those who would use the dreaded and hated DarkChips. He had managed to vanquish a few fools who had no idea what they were doing with them, and he was also able to warn a few others, but so far, his quest had met with marginal success until recently.
He had even been warned by a kindred spirit named Force about the abilities of one particular Navigator, however, Crusader was never one to back down from a perceived challenge. Even though he had lost because of that, he didn't really learn anything, other than he would need to get stronger. Therefore, he focused on hunting down other targets until he was powerful enough to stop Xyzillentz.
Walking down one of the main boulevards that acted as a main transit for other programs, navigators, and general information, Crusader's gaze looked left and right, looking out for anything suspicious, but his sight found none, most of the populace going about their business with only a short, careful glance in Crusader's direction. The armored Navigator paid them little heed, understanding that those that were blissfully unaware of the growing darkness had lives to lead, and preaching on top of a glorified soapbox wasn't exactly going to advance his eternal quest in the least.
So he continued to search, aimlessly wandering around until he thought he saw someone familiar...

Force shouted threats as his legs worked. He wasn't the FASTEST guy around, that was beyond true. His strength however was currently making up for it. Reaching the edge of the path he bent low to the ground before pushing off of it, sailing through the air before crashing down on the roof of another building. His landing was sloppy, but he had little time to spare. The bulky navi broke back into his mad dash, attempting to keep up with the slim winged navi ahead of him.
After finding that snakes advice beneficial during his brawl with Crusader, he'd taken to training. Which, in reality, was little more than doing his usual. Wandering around aimlessly and fighting anyone who wanted a piece. The winged woman currently flying away from him had started out confident in her abilities. This confidence was quickly shattered however by Forces fists. He couldn't tell you how he'd gotten on top of the buildings if you asked, but he could tell you he'd sprinted across them quite some ways now. With only a few left ahead of him, Force bent his knees once more, launching up with all his might.
The winged navi glanced over her shoulder, shock on her face as Force sailed towards her......then gravity struck. The brawny brawler began to fall. Determination crossed his face as one of his hands lashed out, catching the winged navi by the ankle. Force collided with the ground, messing up the stone work of the pathway some.
"Uhhh....Nice weather we're having?" The winged navi asked as Force righted himself. He glanced up, preparing to drag the winged navi back to the place their fight had started, but the sight of silver armor with gold crosses inlaid into it stopped him in his tracks.
"Well well!" Force bellowed, walking towards crusader, already he'd forgotten about the winged navi he still carried. "Fancy meeting you here. Had any luck with your quest against the dark chips?"
Force extended his free hand towards Crusader. They'd only known each other a brief time, but Force was sure this was someone he could truly count as a friend.

Crusader couldn't help but let a smirk form across his face. He took Force's free hand eagerly, giving it a warrior's squeeze. "A little, but it always continues, Force," He replied, looking over at the winged Navi that Force had recently captured. The armored Navi nodded towards the winged one. "I don't suppose she is giving you problems?" He asked, his face hardening a little as he looked over at the winged Navigator. She seemed harmless enough, but if Force was chasing after her, she likely tried to run away from a fight that Force had not yet finished. If one thing was for certain, both Crusader and Force were more than willing to see a battle through to the very end, even if it is a bitter one.
Crusader looked back over at Force. "At any rate, I am currently looking for any sign of other DarkChip users. DarkSouls, Darkloids, they are essentially the same, in case you've heard anything about those. I had attempted to confront the one you told me about, but as you stated, he was quite powerful," Crusader explained, his jaw clenching. "I will...need to become more powerful in order to face him again."

"Huh?" Force grunted when Crusader reminded him of the winged navi. He raised the winged Navi to eye level, having completely forgotten about her. She smiled and waved at him nervously. the brawny brawler, having since come to his senses, lowered the winged navi to the ground before letting go of her ankle.
"My apologies....uhhhh."
"Niellä." The winged navi answered as she got to her feet, dusting herself off.
"Niellä! Right. I have a bad habit of getting.....in the zone. When you decided to flee, I sort of...snapped." Force explained. Niellä scoffed and beat her wings, lifting into the air before flapping out of sight. Force had stopped paying attention, however. Crusader had brought up something of a sore spot. He'd met Xyzillentz.....
"I'm in training for that very thing right now, my friend. Make no mistake. The one who'll beat the snake is me. I don't care what you do with him when I'm done, but I'll be the one to defeat him." A stern and serious look adorned Force face as he explained this to Crusader. No one would beat the snake but him...

Shazha's breath came fast and hard as he slammed into a wall. His agile feet and strong arms sent him bounding away to the left, barely losing any speed as he ran. He could hear the slapping of feet behind him, closer and closer. He took another turn down yet another alleyway, and continued on.
This was bad, very bad. He was near trapped like this, and didn't even know the location well enough to figure out how to get out. "crap!" he growled aloud as the narrow lane came to an abrupt end before him. But he didn't stop. Instead, the Draconic Beast lowered a shoulder and struck full force into the wall before him. Code and cyber blocks were tossed aside in his wake and he found himself in a darkened alcove.
Shazha stopped for a second and was unable to ignore the sound of his harassed breathing in his own ears. A crackling in the air was all the warning he had, but it was enough. The Dragon threw himself to the side as a beam of black lightning tore through the pillars and furniture of the room, scant feet from where he was.
Shazha rose and again let his feet lead him, tearing through the room, and then through the house at large. As he passed a large window in the kitchen he caught sight of a figure outside, reading another attack. Shazha put on a desperate burst of speed, but still couldnt avoid the stinging glass and marble counter shards that tore and splintered about the room.
Another beam slashed in front of him and the big beast threw himself down into a 3rd base slide, heat washing over his face as he avoided it by inches. This was not good, not good. They were cornering him, triangulating upon him. Two were outside to his right, at least one more behind him... How many more were there?
Unable to come up with a better plan with so little information, Shazha... RAN!

Crusader nodded solemnly. He wanted to vanquish such an individual as well, but he at least knew that Force had something of a blood feud against Xyz. So much so that the individual had been beaten twice, and yet Force refused to give up. Such was this individual's resolve that Crusader couldn't help but respect Force that much more for it.
"I understand completely. So long as he is brought to justice, either way suits me," He said, watching the winged one flee for a moment before looking back over at Force. "Until I obtain the necessary strength to confront individuals such as he again, I am currently looking for any sign of lesser individuals who might use the DarkChips. Such individuals must be vanquished if they are so willing to let the darkness corrupt their very souls. However, I have yet to be on the trail of one."

Crusaders eternal quest to rid the world of darkness was impressive, even to a mostly brain dead giant like Force. Knight like, that's how he would describe crusader.
Force was nothing like that, of course. A one track mind that could push out all other things. The world could be falling apart around him and, as long as he had a foe to fight, he would let it. It was good there were people with more focus than he around.
"I've still heard nothing about them." Force admitted, tapping a hand against his chin. "Have you tried asking around? Oh! You said they don't follow rules, right? Maybe if we cause enough of a ruckus around here, we can draw one to you..."

------Still Elsewhere-----
Shazha was feeling a raging fire burning within his lungs. He had the strength and speed to move his large, powerful frame very fast; but even with the astounding amount of stamina one like he possessed, the amount of energy it took to keep moving became exponentially higher moment by exhausting moment.
He had left the housing district, and the once beautiful alcove of that particular unit behind, and was now in what appeared to be some sort of warehouse district. It looked more like a battlefield if he was being honest, with a goodly number of the imposing, rectangular structures blasted in, falling down, and torn apart in sections.
Ahead, the road he was running along came to a dead end, the intersection heading either right or left. Coming to a decision he went straight through, tossing a look over his shoulder just as he entered the darkened interior. His heart dropped as he clearly spotted a half dozen figures following almost languidly behind, two more turning off a road even farther back to join the host after him.
He really wished he knew why they were after him. He had been in the middle of nowhere, a clearing beyond a forest he frequented, training and honing his skills when they had come for him. There had only been three of them then; ripping apart the clearing with deadly efficiency as they unleashed a barrage of dark energy orbs at him. He had escaped the crossfire killzone and into the forest. Fire soon raged behind and around him as he ran before, outpacing the destruction and hoping that his attackers had been foolish enough to conceive of their own destruction when they had set upon to deliver his.
But it had not been so. Almost before he had left the forest for the cityscape he was even now on the outskirts of, he had caught sight of one or more of the jet colored, levitating, legless creatures tracking him.
And now he was here, back to the inner wall of an old warehouse as he hunched over and tried to catch his breath. There were at least eight of them out there, probably more... This seemed like a good enough place as any to make a stand.

Crusader nodded at Force's suggestion. "Yes, if we do seek them out actively and cause them to come out from hiding, that would be effective. Still, there are many programs and Navigators here that mingle and work within this city. There's no reason to unnecessarily disturb them all, though those that stand between me and my goal are just as guilty as the ones who I've come to judge," He said with a conviction before motioning. "Shell we proceed, then--Wait. Did you hear that?" Crusader said, looking around their surroundings for a moment. He could have sworn he heard something out of the ordinary...

"No, I don't hear an-...eh?" Force shut his mouth, raising an eyebrow at a noise just at the edge of hearing. It sounded sort of like something being swung through the air repeatedly. From around a corner came a navi...a poorly constructed one at that. It did not appear to have a lower body, a series of rotating fans attached directly to the bottom of its torso in place of legs. With each rotation they made the sound Crusader had heard.
Force looked around for a moment, realizing the area was suddenly empty. People probably bolted when they saw Force landing a few minutes ago, his antics might not have been wanted at this place. Whatever the case, they were alone with this guy. Its head rotated around, catching sight of them before beginning to move in their direction. "Are you lost, friend?" Force asked. The mystery navi picked up speed, one of it's arms producing a weapon. At the sight of this, Force balled his hands into fists, once more ready and raring to go.
Force slid out of the way as his assailant reached him, narrowly avoiding that blade it had. In return his fist lashed out, striking the thing in the back. It pinwheeled through the air, recovering quickly before coming at him again...

Shazha roared in defiance as he thrust his right arm outside of a window missing any evidence of glass, and unleashed a furious barrage of forked lightning strike. Most struck harmlessly against the concrete or empty air, but a couple did batter the figures moving inexorably towards him. He didn't have time to tell if there was any real damage however, jerking back from the open portal as a duo of black beams came hurtling towards him.
Moving quickly he strode across the warehouse floor until he came to the door. Sucking in a large gasp of breath he snapped it open with a kick and then brought both hands together, unleashing a massive wave of ice directly into the bulk of one of the levitating machines. It had been looking at the window still, and hadn't the time to dodge. It struck, and quickly the blue sheen of ice rolled over it, freezing it into a sort of ice sculpture.
Again, Shazha dodged away as black energy beams came towards him again. As it cleared, he glanced out to see that the machine was using its one free arm to slam against the ice, slowly breaking itself free. It was caught for the moment however, that would have to work... Shazha rose to his feet once more and headed to yet another window, hoping to get another few good shots in before they charged and overwhelmed him...
