((Anyone else notice how two more people than the people ACTUALLY RP-ing voted?))
Finale: Radical!
Finale jumped on the surfboard like he had done it a million times before. Or at least once with the same person the the heat of a volcano. As he jumped on the board his mask and body glowed with a ice blue light, and his mask metamorphosed into icy sunglasses. Revealing the lower half of Finale's face for the first time in quite a while.
Finale: COOL!
Finale rode past Namkcab, with almost more expertise than the creator of the surfboard himself. It looked as if it was time for a rematch from that time at the volcano.
Finale:... please Namkcab. We need to get to the assassin before he has another chance to kill... things are looking worse as we speak...

The wolf-navi moved through the streets with a purpose, not once pausing to check behind himself or to investigate anything. He had to keep moving, as it wouldn't be until the next victim was claimed that he would have a clue as to where the thing was coming from. K-414's data indicated that it had no real point of origin, and merely seemed to surface and kill where it decided to do so, which made tracking it down all the more difficult. However, K-414 began to feel somewhat...watched, as he moved, though he knew that it was naught more than his nerves being on edge.
However, the feeling suddenly vanished, and the wolf-navi came to a stop, glancing around. Something's different," he growled, before a quick scream echoed behind him. The navi wheeled around, dropping to all fours as he darted through the streets, looking for where the scream had originated from.
"Take the next right, then the second left," Richard spoke over the P.E.T., though K-414 said nothing as he dashed forward, lurching to his right as he moved like the beast he was before he hit the second left, darting down an alley a few feet before skidding to a halt as remnant data from the deleted navi littered the ground. "He had to have fled deeper into the city. More people means more targets and easier to blend in."
"Roger that," K-414 growled before he darted forward, trying to track the killer's data signature by scent.

((OOC: notegg, Lol dude, that means we've got spectators!))[bgcolor=black] The icy giant and the...other one...rode through the sky as they surfed along the net. Namkcab controlled the path to the downtown area. When the duo reached the cobbled-street square, Namkcab obliterated the pathway, ice shards shattering on the ground. Thus, the streets became much more slippery. A navi of few words, he motioned Finale to try to blend in. Namkcab judged it to be about an hour after midnight- barely any navis were around. The icy giant deduced the assassin would probably be hunting in houses. Invading navis' privacies. The only places they can call truly safe.
Namkcab kept his eyes peeled when he caught sight of K-414. The wolf navi Namkcab met once or twice. The giant greeted the the werewolf, and he offered to team up with K-414.Lurking in the depths, the assassin kept his eyes peeled for prey. He slunk around quickly. During his hunt, he noted the trio- the group that might bring him trouble. Cracking a smile, the monster looked to his right and saw a lit window. Late night worker. Perfect. From the alleyways, the evil being worked open a window and killed the navi. Like he did before, the dark one slung the body towards the trio.
The assassin moved quickly towards an apartment building filled with soon-to-be victims. He gathered a group of murdered and left a trail of bodies behind him for his pursuers. He was enjoying this way too much.

Finale: There it is! Namckab! that wolf navi there is the assassin it has to be!
Finale then sent some more air waves at the wolf who he could not have believed he had let escape. A mercenary failing so easily? Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!!
It wasn't worth getting so worked up for though. Finale took some deep breaths then summoned his sword, WhirlWind.

(( Sorry about not posting sooner Dx ))
K-414 lurched to a halt, his clawed feet scraping over the cobblestone ground as he sensed more Navi approaching from behind him. He slid around to face the oncoming figures, though he had no real idea as to who they were, or what they wanted. Perhaps they were also hunting the killer...and if so, that meant that he would either have allies or competition, depending on their mood. He leaned downward, coiling his body like a spring in the event that something happened that would require him to be...offensive.
However, as he saw who turned the corner, his body eased up for a moment. The one who approached was Namkcab, a Navi with a fairly level head. K hadn't worked with him directly before, but he'd met him a couple of times, and in that, the wolf-navi didn't bear any ill-will. However, the one who came next caused the wolf to growl low and dart to and fro in the alley, avoiding the other's attacks. "I'm not the killer you fool, but if you keep that up, you may just find yourself deleted!" he roared, gnashing his teeth at Finale.
With a muttered grunt, K-414 leaned away from the one who had attacked him, looking to Namkcab. "You have any information on this thing? Any more than I have? The damned thing is fast, quick, and dangerous. Nothing at all like a virus; it's too darn smart," he growled.

[bgcolor=black]Namkcab had a feeling he knew how this beast was starting to work when all of a sudden a body landed at the trio's feet. "Kool!Look!" the icy behemoth pointed in the direction the deceased navi's arm was bent. It was just like before with the message scraped on the wall, only this time it lead to another killed navi. Leading from it, a crimson blood trail winding through the back alleyways with a fresh navi every few yards, their arms bent to indicate the path Finale, Kularian and Namkcab should take. Namkcab noticed a slight movement far in the distance. His heart racing, he pounded forward, sprinting to the movement he just saw while calling back to the others.
~~~~~
Swift and dangerous. A smile crept upon the evil one's face as he raced ahead of the others. Now. It was time for confrontation. He swept away like smoke towards more dark alleyways. After another five short minutes of evasion, the dark one left the city limits, moving to a misty dark graveyard not too far from the outskirts of the town. A pale, dusty full moon shone light on him as he waited for the others. Standing tall and proud, he smiled wickedly for his new prey.
Finale raced toward Namkcab and possibly the assassin as fast as he could. Although, that offhand comment by this 'not the killer' fellow was a little rude, considering he was a virus himself...sortof.
Finale: Come on! If the darn thing is there we'll need to fight it... I hope you brought your guns boys 'cuz the beast thing doesn't seem to be going down without a fight!
As fast as he could Finale made an icy pathway to run on, with a slight slant on it to get Finale higher and give him more of an overview of what was going on.
((BTW I'm all for revealing who the killer is now.))
(( Sorry, didn't see Encore had posted Dx ))
K-414 skidded to a halt as the body fell from above, the wolf's eyes darting this and and that as he tried to find the killer. He knew they had to be close; there were only so many places that a killer could hide, given the surroundings. Yet there was nothing that came to them, save the odd way that the body's arm was pointing...and all three Navi realized at the same time that it was a clue. One that had been force-fed to them, but a clue none the less. The way that this whole thing had been setup...it seemed that this murderer, whomever it was...it wanted them for something, or at the very least, it wanted something that was worth killing.
K-414 let out a grunt, scratching his arm lightly before the three nodded amongst themselves and took off in the direction that the body's arm was pointed. They moved swiftly, and just as it seemed that the trail had run cold, another body was found, pointing in another direction, each one leading them forever onward, further from the city. The wolf, unlike the others, was using the buildings themselves as his means of travel, leaping from one to the next as he followed the trail, trying to use the advantage of height to figure out what was going on. It seemed Encore had a similar idea, floating upwards on an ice platform as the three followed the macabre path to the conclusion of this gruesome spectacle.
As they took the final turn, headed out of the city, K-414 growled low as he saw what appeared to be a figure, illuminated by the moonlight. "Looks like we caught ourselves a culprit," the wolf growled as he slowed his loping pace to a gradual stop, a short distance from the graveyard. It was a perfect scene, really, what with the destruction all around.
It is time. Namkcab and his comrades were searching for clues when the bodies were cast. Looking to the others, they all had the same thought, and they set about helter-skelter after the monster. Just like Finale, Namkcab used his ice prowess to blast a pathway for him to "surf" on. Speeding along, they zipped through tight alleyways, weaving between tight-knit buildings. Blasting just above the ground, the trio shot through the city and into its outskirts. Along the dusty path they came to a gloomy graveyard. With gravestones scattered about, the scene was set, complete with the harrowing figure standing centerstage. Namkcab set his shoulders back and took a fighting stance.
~~~~~~~
His red eyes locked on to the Dream-Team flowing onto the graveyard. The monster's identity was finally revealed, and he took a particular interest in the werewolf navi. "..." The creature let out a low growl. His spine was slightly arched, though he looked fairly humanoid. He had brown fur along his body, and sharp, black claws piercing from his hand. Once the trio entered the graveyard, the assassin spoke his first words in a very long time. It had a low voice with an ever-so-light rasp to its ring. "Hah...you've finally caught up. Fools. I see one of you is a werewolf, like myself." He then directly adressed K-414, "We are of a superior race, above all others. If we join forces, we will be the strongest force on the net. All will bow before us!" The werewolf then turned to the others, "Now, as for you two, I'm sorry to say there isn't any room for you on this world. You will cower before Lance, the Ultimate Assassin!" Lance arched his back and held his claws out at the ready, teeth bared.
Battle Theme!
((OOC: Lance's Version will be equal to the version of the Trio, as stated from the Group-Version law of the MMM. [highest version+ 1/2 of the other's versions combined]))

Hmm~? So, this was the one killing all the innocents... he would face te wrath of the Virus King! But... Finale did not want to fight instantaneously. He took a passive-aggressive stance, and waited for the enemy to move.

K-414 let out a low growl in response to the growl from the navi before them. Assuming it was even a Navi. If so, it had long lost its Operator and, if it hadn't, then the netOP was likely being tracked by the ONB right now. However, this other Navi, this...werewolf, that took a form similar to his own, if not a different palette, seemed to be completely unstable. Deleting navi for his own sick amusement? K-414 enjoyed battle but...this was something else entirely.
K-414: RAM; is this thing one of the Syndicates?
RAM: Negative. No records of such a Navi in our database.
K-414: Good. They won't complain when I tear it to shreds.
The wolf navi pulled away from his conversation with his netOP who had recently decided to grace K-414 with his presence, before looking to this...Lance. "I don't know who you think you are, but your poor imitation of the Animus Syndicate will not be forgiven. I will see to it that your data is strewn across this city," K-414 growled, the claws on each hand extending.
He looked to Namkcab and Encore, making certain that they were with him on this before he darted forward, releasing a howl of rage.

[bgcolor=black]Namkcab looked over at K-414 when he countered Lance's speech about being a "superior" species. He crouched, then morphed his right arm into a jagged scimitar. Charging forward, Namkcab leaped at his adversary, ready to deal a crushing blow. *WHAP!* The next thing Namkcab knew he was lying face-down on the ground. His head reeling, he processed what happened while his partners were locked in combat. He jumped at Lance, and he swung, but Lance dealt him a swift swipe to the face and launching kick to the stomach. Then the ice navi was sent flying. Great. Namkcab dusted himself and leaped back into the fray, hacking at Lance.
~~~
Lance stared hard at K-414's refusal to join him. "I don't know who this "Animus Syndicate" is, but I know you'll be joining those navis I sent to these graves!" With a long howl, Lance deflected the slash made by the icy one and sent him flying with a well-placed kick to the stomach. Lance tore through towards Finale and gave him a nice slash to the face, leaving three long streaks as a memento of why you don't mess with werewolves. Turning his back on the two weaker parts of the trio, Lance bared his teeth at K-414, the strongest. "Are ya sure you don't want to delete these two wimps and join me?" Without waiting for a reply, the brown werewolf streaked to K-414 and locked claws with him, wrestling the counterpart.
((>_> Sorry for the wait guys...)
The wind warrior could feel as his face was pierced by claws sharper then any conventional weapon.
Finale: You just crossed the line buddy!
Finale conjured the wind around him and flew towards the evil beast like a dart, sending a flurry of sword attacks as he was in range of this 'Lance' before sliding back and away from Lance, hoping to avoid a counter-attack.
