The revelation sent his head spinning. How could he not have realized it? That he hadn't was a testament to the quality of Iscon, no, Turbine's, disguise, as wrong as it felt to call it that.
For a navi to have a permanent death was rare indeed... Mirror couldn't recall ever meeting Toxin personally, but knew enough of him to find it a bit strange that Turbine would have passed fighting him. There must have been a great conflict between the two...
Placing a hand on the journal in a gesture of good-will and respect, Mirror speaks up once again, trying to take everything in.
"This is unsettling to say the least... Turbine dead? He's the last person I could imagine being deleted permanently, aside from the ancient Forte... There must have been... the whole world must be at stake for Turbine to be willing to die."
Getting up and pacing about as Phenoix had just done, Mirror runs a hand through his silver hair, letting out an exasperated sigh.
"I know our world has been and always will be filled with conflicts, but this is just... Just what is going on? Elysium and Juno are bad enough, but I find it hard to believe that Turbine and Toxin's fight are related to Juno, despite the temporal proximity to the Rise of Elysium..."
Returning to the table, Mirror picks up the cup once more and takes a sip, still standing. The tea had a calming effect that was much appreciated right now.
"Whatever is happening, I'll be a part of bringing it to a close. I'll do my part. Turbine's memory deserves at least that much... You seem to know a fair deal more than I do, and I trust your judgement. Do you have any ideas where to go from here?"
His mind still reeling from the revelations the feathered navi presented to him, Mirror knew to keep going forward, to be proactive, was the surest way to keep his mind occupied. It was all he could do to properly honor one of the few heroes he had.

Phenoix walked over to the table and picked up the journal, returning it to his data stores as it digitized away.
"For the time being, simply stand-by. I'll be decrypting this journal for some time I think. But Juno is a more immediate threat. We need to figure out what is going on with that. Once we have more knowledge of what we need to do, we'll need to gather many of the others for a fight, much like what we did with Eon before. A good friend of mine said he was also looking into it... We simply cannot sit idly like we did with Eon. There is another who might know something about this... But I question his intentions."
Phenoix finished his tea, it was likely time to leave this place. Other matters were likely needing to be dealt with... In fact the overwhelmingly dark presence in element city was still there. Perhaps it would be in his best interests to go check it out.
"Simply do as you normally do. When the time comes and I know more, I'll contact you. You'd best keep this knowledge to yourself though. I don't know who could benefit from it, but I fear if anyone could, it would be for unjust purposes."

He nodded solemnly, all too aware of the complexity and frustrations of their current situation. If anything was a welcome relief, it was knowing that, despite their idling before dealing with Eon, the collective of the net had prevailed against him. If they had done so before at what had been their final hour, the could do so again. Only this time they had the wisdom of knowing when preemptive and proactive action was required.
"I'll leave it to your discretion, and I understand if you want to keep this between as few people as possible, but if you find yourself needing assistance decrypting that journal, we've got a mutual acquaintance who specializes in data analysis. Though I likely know him better than you do, you have my word B.o.B. can be trusted."
MirrorMan takes the last swig of his tea, feeling revitalized and optimistic.
"Thank you, Phenoix. I'll keep this to myself, no need to worry. I'll find some way to stay occupied in the meantime, there might be a few places I can check out for information... At the very least, I could try and find a few lost friends who would be willing to fight with us when the time comes."

Phenoix nodded, not much else to say here. He placed the cup down and walked out out of the cave with MirrorMan, sending him on his way as he turned to the entrance to the cave entrance. Inscribing a glyph on the air, it expanded to cover the cave mouth, sealing it with what seemed to be the same rocks of the mountain it was dug into. It was his home after all, best to leave it much how he left it, save some minor changes of them being in it. Phenoix then left for other areas, something had been tugging on his mind here for a while, it was likely best for him to focus on that for the time being.

To: mirror From: B.o.B.
Hey, I met a navi goes by the name of RainMan. He was in that whole mess at Dark City with us. I also vaguely remember seeing a navi that looked like him when we met Saint, but I don't know if they are one and the same. He is looking for a navi who I think you would have an interest in meeting. He says that it goes by the name of Varia and emulates the personalities and fighting styles of those it meets. It reminded me of you and I thought it might peek your interest.
If you want to meet up come to the coordinates attached and use this key data attached to this message.

-KEY.zip The blip of an email notification came in, and Mirror opens a window to read it.
So B.o.B. was alright and he was with RainMan, who Mirror had seen around here and there. Mirror recalled the Gates of Fortune, where he had met RainMan.
And then there was the bit about the Varia character. That would be an interesting one to meet.
Taking the key data from the email, Mirror warps out in a flash of grey light.

This was the interaction of posts that sparked my whole urge for wanting more good RP! I'm glad I didn't miss my chance to make my first rewards these moments. I wish I could give rewards to both, but as the guidelines for now are one reward per week. 200/2000z to PhenKeep up the good work my friend, to the admin who never wants to admit he is.

Role-Play Rewards "The Gift that keeps on giving...at least once a week."
I felt MirrorMan's emotions, and that's why I'm going to give a slightly higher XP/Zenny award. I "liked" a post, but that would be an understatement. The conveyance of empathy and meaning of fallen characters through action is well-played to the point that it made me feel like I was reading a really good novel in front of a fire...which says a lot since I'm typing this at work.
I have to admit, I don't get this from you when you RP other characters. I guess it's because you've been in sync with MirrorMan for a while, right (Based on the mention of Eon, since I do not even know who that is)?
Either way, I would enjoy more of this articulation.

*His wanderlust had taken him back to Sharo this time. Some years ago he would have avoided this place like the plague since he hated the cold back then. But he had come to tolerate it and deal with it now. Occasionally he would go here for his own purposes, plus he still had things on his mind. He was here to put those things on the back-burner and just see if anything had changed since the last time he decided to walk around here idly.*
*And he found that fairly fast actually, Xion spotting a hole that he didn't recall exactly before. In an icy waste like this it was pretty easy to tell something was up here. So curiosity made him jump down the hole, scaling it and reaching the bottom in no time to find what looked like parts and rubble. And a robotic spider that wasn't functioning from the looks of it. Well, he may as well see if there wasn't anything here to salvage then as he decided to take what was left over for himself. Another man's trash and all there. So Xion moved over to the Bospider's corpse and and decided to see if he couldn't loot anything off of it first since it had the better odds compared to the other drone parts around this place.*

Whyspider (Finaaally)
Xion's search proves fruitful. Within the lifeless corpse of the Bospider lay its cold core. Still intact despite the traumatic experience of the battle and cataclysmic explosion that ended it. While currently shutoff it remains a powerful source of potential should it somehow be kickstarted.
Besides the core, the only other item of value in this broken husk is a small red bead, the eye. Barely hanging on by a few loose wires Xion effortlessly removes it. Bits of wire being pulled along with it.
Xion gets:
Eye of the Spider Accessory *The eye of the Bospider. The lengths of wire make fastening easy. It emanates an uneasy feeling of being watched.* --- User may turn their Natural Avoidance into a Natural Dodge at will. -2 Natural Avoidance cooldown.
&
Boscore ??? *The large ruby core of the Bospider. Without power it remains a cumbersome but beautiful gem.*

*Good thing for him that people were bad at looting bodies. Should be an obvious thing to check them if it doesn't actually vanish upon taking enough damage. He stored them in a safe place so he wouldn't get mugged later, unlikely as it was, and got to work on climbing back out. On the relatively short climb, for him anyway, he had decided on his next destination. The choice was simple really this time, deciding to go see what was the last resting place of someone else. And so he faded into the darkness like he always did for this, heading for the place next.*

Amid the windblown peaks and dense, deep snow, a figure wanders. Armor of mainly purple, graced with yellow and red accents, a red visor and a red scarf, he stands out starkly against the pure white of the mountains. Slowly and sure of his steps, he makes steady progress descending from the peak on which he had spent so much of his time.
Time was an interesting thing to this navi. He had no knowledge of when he had come here, or how long he had been here. It was as if it had always been the case, and had never been the case. It was perplexing, he admitted to himself.
Of course, the hermit who meditates on the mountain must come down at some point to share his knowledge. This much he knew, and he was eager to share. His destination was vague, a mere "anywhere below this mountain, there's obviously no one here but me" was all that guided him.
This gave him plenty of time to think, which was his favorite hobby. He marveled at the snow as it whirled by him. The stars in the night sky above would be indistinguishable from the blowing snow were it not for the motion of the snow on the wind. There was a calm here, amid the harsh reality of nature. That such a place could be devoid of others amazed him. Didn't they know of this place and the beauty it held? Did they simply not care?
What sorts of things could be more important the appreciation of the marvels abound?

Now came the long walking part of this since they couldn't just go there unlike some people. They crossed through the Elbrus Range with an intention and destination both in mind, heading southward. They had to go over the mountains that way to get to their destination. Far as they knew the place was still abandoned. They could check it out and see what had been left behind there. It would be a trek there and they just had to pass over some things and some caves. But once they reached the southern end of the mountains they'd be at the base. So they kept on heading that way to see what would go on from there. Playing it by ear and all that jazz.

Near one of the higher peaks of Elbrus, wings spread wide the navi of purest light stood. His eyes were not as his normal gentle look that he had for most navis, even those who stood against him often got said look. Instead, into the sky he held a piercing glare. Looking directly past the patterned sky of the net out into what lies beyond. The Galaxy Network, and past that, the noted server. Eden it was called, for a name so serene to be attached to such a devastating weapon was unfortunate.
Phenoix's wings fluttered on the winds of the mountain range, his face in a frown and his single arm clutching the stump where his previous one used to be. Though covered by a fragment of an old friend, it still burned looking back into that void of a battlefield. To think he'd be returning to stop another threat... This Juno, threatening that of humanity, even that of the rest of navi-kind, it would not be something he'd take sitting down. A paradise of fear was but a false notion, one Phenoix did not wish to entertain.
Yet still, even worse... or perhaps stranger, was the one that stood next to him.
"Remind me again why you're here?"
"Because if anyone is destroying this world, it's going to be me. Just because I can't pull it off yet doesn't mean I'm going to let someone else do the job."
Ruin stood on the peak itself, arms crossed in front of him as the biting winds threw snow and hail into his face. Though his body did not shake or waver despite this. He stood staring to the sky just as Phenoix had, frowning, his eyes showing some of the chaotic energy he had managed to internalize after multiple losses of control having encountered the Lord of Chaos. Besides, he had been bored. It seemed as if his contacts had faded into the darkness. A few stray thoughts crossed his mind as he looked to the Galaxy Network and onto their would=be destination. Perhaps it was time to build his own empire, even though he was much better at the opposite.
But for the time being, it seemed he, a navi of overwhelming darkness would be temporarily joining with his other extreme. The light that would cast his shadow. It was almost revoltingly poetic.

[Warrior entering from Aqua Net]
From behind the two Navis, a third approached from just below the peak.
" View's nice from down here. Never thought I'd want to go back. "
He was speaking of Galaxy Network, of course. It'd been years since he'd been there after the closure of what the world called Eon's Eternal Endgame. Things were quite different now compared to then.
" Phenoix, good to see you again. "
After greeting Phen, Warrior looked to the other that was present -- he recognized him, but had never been introduced. He didn't look like the type to really care about meeting new people, though, so Warrior greeted him with only a nod instead.
" I guess it's rhetorical, but you have a plan of getting up there? "
They clearly had the same idea in mind. Search for the nuclear satellite's network via the Galaxy Network and shut it down before it could fire. Definitely sounded simpler than it actually was, but it was a better plan that to just confront Juno while the weapon charged.
Chances are, there'd be plenty who were already on their way to Elysium anyway.

Phenoix nodded to Warrior, it had been some time since he had seen him. It was hard to believe that they had only seen each other on a few occasions, but living through world ending threats certainly can bring people together.
"I do. Though I haven't used this power in some time, it should be enough to get the three of us at least to Galaxy Net. This one here can break us through Eden's firewalls once we're near it."
Phenoix motioned to Ruin standing near him. Only ever meeting him once was no excuse to not know of this navi's power. Few in the undernet would doubt his power, fewer still wouldn't know of him. The name was the same as the result after all.
Holding out his hand, Phenoix closed his eyes for a moment, his wings dropping as he rose up slightly. From his hand, a sphere of flame appeared, not unlike you might find from a normal fire navi. Phenoix's face turned to a grimace, he seemed to be struggling a little.
It had really been some time since he used this different kind of power, and with that time came lack of practice. He was previously a navi of both Light and Fire... At one time, he had transcended both, but more recently he had abandoned the flame, his powers now were entirely drawn from the light, strong in its purity. To draw on that previous flame, and ascend it again, would be a daunting task... but a necessary one.
Trying again, the orb appeared as a regular flame once more, smaller this time, it grew larger until it was about as big as his palm. The sphere kept this size for a time, inside it was hard to see, but small detonations were beginning to occur. To the others it must seem like nothing, but the concentration for this was immense, and the loss of another anchor point he had before made it much harder. But before long the sphere collapsed in on itself, now a small marble. But it was not of just flame... but of small explosions constantly going of, forming a sphere. As if reactions constantly kept it alight, creating more and more where previous left abscences. Growing back to its original size, Phenoix opened his eyes and brought the small star he had managed to create up to his face.
Observing it, judging his work. He nodded, it would do. The winged navi let the star drift off away from him a short distance. Around it, one of Phenoix's runes surrounded, and the star stood as its anchor point. Phenoix then, with an outstreched hand, layered other runes around the anchor. With one last in place, Phenoix came back down to the peak of the mountain, his feet melting the snow and then evaporating the water that came of it. He looked to the two before him, letting out a sigh.
"Alright. Our path awaits."
With a final word, a glint from on high. A great pilliar from the stars above shot down to the mountains. Seen from all of Sharo, it wasn't exactly a subtle method, but it would do the trick. The path to the Galaxy Network opened.
"Step in, the next part happens when we get there."
