*Genesis closed his eyes and accepted that what he saw was happening. If not for the fact that he knew Warrior he would dismiss him entirely. For the first time out of the many incidents that he had with Warrior until now, he would entirely ignore that this just happened. So much so that he had given a nod to Serix that she was right simply because it was true that to them failure wasn't an option. Even if their adversary was no doubt thinking the same.*

"Definitely something you'd see on TV..." Glassman said, snapping out of his bewilderment and disbelief.
'Wow. That surprised me for a moment there...' Glassman thought to himself, clapping his face with both hands,as if he were waking himself up from a crazy dream.

"Well, to tell the truth, I was designed to be the 'guardian of the goddess'"
E's eyes rolled from left to right. Sitting upright now, his arms rest at his sides. He kept quiet during Warrior's story time. This navi he spoke to would see though the obvious lie and--
"My name means ‘Goddess’...as I remember."
'No, no, no...Don't say it!'
"Perhaps...you are meant to be my protector and valiant knight...my warrior."
E doubled over on the crate in silent pained laughter. All six of his arms clutched his midsection, trying his best to not interrupt the flow of what he thought would be more foolishness to come.

((Megami has officially out-derped Troik))
"..."
"..."
Feint gave Warrior a sick, almost menacing stare as Megami had said her name meant "goddess".
He had to have already known that somehow, she thought. But there was no way of him knowing it unless he stalked her like the perverted creep that he was (in her mind).
Warrior seemed to be a bit shocked Megami believed that... and now a bit worried because while, yes, he dodged her question in the most successful of ways conceivable, he also lied to her face in such a way that she actually believed him. And... that kind of made him a jerk.
If he'd gone on to say something like "Sorry Megami, that story was totally just made up", he'd totally lose all of the prestigious "like" points he just won from Megami, because that fib seemed to mean a lot to her.
And after all... he didn't at all mind "being her Warrior", for whatever that did or didn't entail.
"I suppose that depends on whether or not you'd like to be my goddess."
Warrior "pointed" his hand at Megami with palm up; a gesture that sort of expressed his suggestion as an "open offer", as if it were totally up to her whether her own statement was true or not.
Now when the truth finally was revealed someday, boy did he have some explaining to do. But maybe he could benefit from the lie in the meantime; it was worth a shot at least.
"What a charmer."
Moldy cheese, as the one Navi had said, was pretty close to what Feint's perspective of this little proposal was. Her sarcastic scoff was ignore by Warrior just as her last one was, though. He'd gotten pretty good at doing that, lately.
Feint stood there with arms crossed, brow furrowed and her head now turned completely away from the scene. She couldn't believe this insanity was even happening, and figured if she ignored it hard enough it would just stop. In fact, if everyone did the same instead of feeding them the attention they were clearly craving, she thought, perhaps it'd even die down much sooner.
Why was she even here right now? What were they still waiting on?

Something was wrong here, it was quite prevalent, there was a large gap in the people here...
Troik was missing. He had just up and vanished...
Of course, this silence was short lived as the goliath fell right back down, this time with a few rocks, a bowl of unknown food, and a skeletal-mockery of something, appearing to fit an average navi....
"Mmh, Troik got hungry, so Troik bring back food! Want food?"
Before he could completely offer, he downed the skeleton and a few rocks through the gap in his helmet, which folded outward in order to drop the food into the bottomless void he called his stomach, as he did so, Troik took a seat on the ground with a loud thud...
"So... Fill Troik in on what Troik miss. Troik want know what plan is for Gate... Troik think. Is name Gate? Gate sounds like funny name, confuse Troik. Troik not think, Troik do three thing. Eat. Defend. Talk. Not think."
He disregarded his deep thought with a few more stones, and he opened the lid on the bowl, revealing a large conglomeration of spaghetti... He didn't eat it yet, as he was still chewing on the rocks and stones he had dropped into his face...

“Oh?”
There was a brief moment of silence as she looked to the NetNavi’s open hand. She had a very bright smile on her face as she looked to Warrior. Giggling, she held up her hand to his own with her palm touching the tip of her fingers. Just as it seemed that she was about to accept his hand, instead there was a press of her palm to the finger of the NetNavi as she happily looked to his face.
“My apologies! But-”
*THUD!!!*
That’s when Troik arrived…
Megami did not so much turn her attention to the NetNavi as much as she did simply glance at him at first. It was hard to know what anyone was saying between eating a strange amount of food and then trying to remember they were in a crisis situation. However, she had to regain her composure as the slam of the NetNavi’s body which thrown her off balance. She had regained her form as she gotten off her backside and stood upright looking around. The expressions of the NetNavis greatly confusing her even more as she was so lost in her moment with Warrior that everything seemed irrelevant….
Their situation, the scenery, not to mention the goliath NetNavi.
“Oh! Is everyone okay?” Megami asked in confusion, “Your expressions seem…troubled.”
Her obliviousness to the situation bought her great worry as she looked to the other NetNavis around her. She had even forgotten to explain to Warrior why she was apologizing.

As Troik returned to the area, Glassman's eyes quickly noticed his descent this time. Before the giant navi crashed down, Glassman leapt up a few feet in the air, landing shortly after Troik did.
It seemed this guy really was an eater if they had any doubts...
He waved a hand at Troik as he offered them some food as well, following up with "Thanks, but no thanks."
In response to Troik's inquiry, Glassman shook his head.
"We don't know what that guy's plan is yet...and yes,his name is Gate."
The navi of glass-like composition merely smirked as Megami attempted to understand everyone's responses to the mini Warrior-Megami-Online drama. Perhaps it was better that she didn't understand...
"Eh...we're probably just a little antsy from waiting. Don't worry about it." he stated. In contrast to another navi's 'story', Glassman's answer was at least more-than-partway true.

Merrill nodded as Mirror Acknowledged him. He sighed, thinking of Healer and Defender. When Mirror placed his hand on his shoulder. He turned and Motioned to Mirror, finally responding.
"Aye. Good to see you, Mirror! I agree, we always all seem to come together when we are needed most as a team. I admit it's sad it only seems to happen when there is a world crisis. I hope your ventures have turned out well since we last met."
He was quiet however, watching the events unfold between Serix, Warrior and Megami. He just shook his head at Warrior, a small smile peeking through. It seemed Warrior's mood had changed for the better. Which was good. He stood next to Xylia. His question was towards both her and Mirror.
"Did that just happen?"
She stood in silence at the entire situation. She was still amazed at all the navi's here. She refused to show she was startled when Mirror came up from behind them. Her throat felt tight, and her nerves were fraying. She wasn't sure if she should speak at all.
She watched as the events unfolded between Warrior and the other two navis. She could definitely tell the nervousness in the air. What were they doing there? Trying to stope someone called Gate. Was it that mysterious man from before? Except that her two fellow travelers didn't seem to know him.

Well Troik seemed to have spared Warrior some heartbreak, unfortunately. Feint would have preferred to see him crying just then.
"Troik do three thing. Eat. Defend. Talk. Not think."
"Yeah, we can tell. Thanks you mossy monolith."
Again, she was pretty upset that he averted an emotional catastrophe for 'the hero' over here.
'Well forgive me for saying it, but you're still pretty gifted at making a fool of yourself, Rayner.'
Remnant's thoughts could link directly to Warrior's while he was inside of him. The only other person here that could arguably hear their private conversation was M, but since none of the others here had any form of telepathy, this form of communication was fairly secure.
Under no other means would Remnant have identified Warrior by his real name.
'I controlled the situation. Dodged a bullet by Megami and took everyone's mind off of the truth to the question she had even asked to begin with. Not to mention the entire threat from Finale is practically forgotten right now.'
'...'
Indeed... even Remnant had totally missed that, and he could read the guy's mind.
'I'll play whatever part I need to play and take on whichever role I need to take. I don't have to be the 'hero' they said I am, just the hero the situation demands. So you're right, I am still pretty gifted at making myself look like a fool, because it takes a level of humility that not many people have. I don't need recognition or praise for averting the crisis, even if it was just a small one; I'm used to people looking down on me, and unlike anybody else here, I can take it even though I have the option not to. But I don't take the easy way out. I can handle whatever shame and loss of respect comes from the hard road, and it's a decision I consciously choose to make.'
He and Remnant have blown up a city before, and according to Finale could pull "universe destroying crap", though that was only figuratively speaking. The point was that he didn't need to make a fool of himself to avoid Megami's question or to negate Finale's threat; he just chose to do it anyway.
He'd done things like that on many occasions, but it was only just now beginning to make sense to Remnant why he did.
Because not all Warriors need to fight to overcome. And not all Heroes need recognition to earn their title.

E took a quick breath of air when Megami started to shut Warrior down, he almost started to laugh out loud until Troik landed. He had almost been jarred from the crate he sat upon from the force of his landing. He shot up quickly and pointed at Troik with three right arms.
"Watch what you're going you GREAT LUMMOX!!"
"Troik not think, Troik do three thing. Eat. Defend. Talk. Not think."
'Apparently!'
With a side eye and readjustment, he sat back down on the crate, his glare and furrowed brow of contempt present while his arms crossed together.

....so many Navis.... it's really a bit off-putting for someone who had worked with only a handful of Navis over the years. This would prove both promising and more dangerous than expected. Perched above the group in one of the higher structures, TornadoMan looks down and takes in a deep breath. While not exactly a "leader", he expected himself to lead these Navis to the WWW HQ? What was he thinking?
After all of the ....scenes.... that had played out, a black tear opens up on the outskirts of the group. With a bold, loud clang, the gold, silver and black form of Gravity Beetle steps out with a surly expression, followed a split second later by a stow-away; Unity. The golden blue OS looks around like a child at the group with hesitation to match, as the herculean ONB commander folds his arms and bellows out with his normal, loud voice.
Gravity Beetle: So where's our host.
...as good a time as any. TornadoMan closes his eyes, folds his arms, takes a deep breath, and steps off of his perch. He falls through the air as if i mid-step, passes along the side of the structure, and lands on one foot amid the group, finishing his one long step as he does so.
TornadoMan: Right here. Sorry to have kept all of you waiting.
TornadoMan pauses for a moment, looking out over the crowd as he unfolds his arms. The normally calm Navi is visibly unnerved. Partly due to the crowd, and partly because of the looming memory that even now fills his mind.
TornadoMan: ...alright, I'm not sure how most of you got here, as I only sent out messages to a handful...
TornadoMan pauses once again. The idea of revealing too much of his hand was.... disturbing. He and his "friends" had gotten this far with clandestine tactics, so was it truly wise to share the plan outright? Well, with these recent actions this course of action was bound to come, so....
TornadoMan: ...but we're here to stop that.
With a glance and a nod, TornadoMan motions to the scene above; Duo's meteor network fully visible in the sky.
TornadoMan: For years, a few good Navis and I have been working behind the scenes to try and stop Gate's mad ambitions. But playing behind-the-scenes games won't work. I know of a way to get us aboard that meteor, but it's not going to be easy. It's not too late to back out now if that's not what you signed up for, so figure out what you're doing before it's too late.

Sat in silence there was no need for any reconsideration, B.o.B. was along for the ride and there was no stopping just before it started. "Meteor Network? this ought to be interesting..." [/bobb]B.o.B:"..." B.o.B. sat contemplating what such a place would be like, or how one would even begin to try to reach it.

"Well, now that everyone really is here, I'll try and keep it short by only restating a few things. This is our home. We are the ones in control here. Gate thinks he's won, that's where he's wrong, and we're about to show him just how wrong he is."
After saying this Serix walked over to Gravity Beetle, waving Glassman over as well.
"So, what took ya? Listen, I got plans to put down the clown after we get done here. I might need your help. But for now, I'm focused on the task at hand. Oh, and once this is over, drinks are on me."
Even though netnavis didn't really need such things, there was a calming or soothing feeling about it.__________________________________________ "From here, things can only get better." __________________________________________________ Current Music: Everybody's Fool - EvanescenceMy Thoughts: I was wondering where Brian went.

He was not here...
Tornadoman arrived, but that was the last individual Megami looked for. However, even without the sound of Xenneth’s voice pushing her, she stood up on her feet once more. Removing herself from her knees, her previous sitting position, the female NetNavi heard the well-said speech of the windy NetNavi. Her eyes had gone upward seeing the unknown network of the Meteor Server she nothing of. Even with it looming over her, she had only given Embera one still look as she still kept that weak smile present.
The NetNavis from Element City? She could only give them a momentary glance before turning away...but reaching to her bosom where the scar was.
“I am not my scar...”
She repeated this in her mind into her will was steel once more.
With a straight face, resolved, she looked to Tornadoman’s direction and given a simple nod. She was ready to become one of the soldiers, whether Xenneth had made her it on time to support her or not. The female NetNavi had already decided in her mind who she was going to be in any battle to come: a fighter.

Glassman looked toward Tornadoman as he ascended from one of the buildings, with one of his fellow ONB comrades breaking through and entering as well.
As TornadoMan briefed everyone on the mission, Glassman glanced at all of them, wondering how they would respond to the task at hand...
Though he too did wonder how so many of them knew to gather here...none of them had sent out a memo...but perhaps the Meteor Network's effect on the entire Net drew everyone together. It'd be a viable and logical explanation...somewhat.
As the gusty navi finished,Glassman was about to say something...but Serix's words once again nailed it on the head.
Walking over to Serix and G.B,Glassman uttered a short sentence in passing...
"Something that huge probably affects a lot more of the 'net than just Electopia...so I'm not surprised people wound up here,in one way or another. And as for backing out..."
Glassman stopped next to Serix and Gravity Beetle, pausing for just a few seconds and glancing up towards their HQ up in the sky.
"Those of us who make up the ONB have no intention of letting our home stay in that maniac's grasp." he said wrapping up his part.
With so many navis gathered together, even if they had discussed something similar to a plan,it was expected that some might have second thoughts...but there fact that so many of them gathered here was enough for Glassman to think they'd all want to pitch in on helping protect the Net...now just for them to prove him right on that point.
