Seeing as how no one had come in for a solid hour and a half, and Troik felt good about himself now. The gargantuan slowly got up, leaving a small indent in the ground. He chuckled to himself before selecting a few routes to take, and jacking into another server! Troik decided he was gonna try and make a few friends, because why not? He wanted to spread the joy and affection he had for the world to others...

*Having re-materialized after the obliteration of Saul Kada.Embera regenerated in one of the only few safe haven's she could remember. Waking up in the middle of the woods, She found herself surrounded by frosty trees.*
Embera: Oh yeah, ice...well, at least it's prettier than being surrounded by unintended death.
*Skating around on her heels, Embera did a sick kickflip over a downed log before sliding to a stop by a large oak. Taking a deep breath, Embera forced the cold out, much like her flames. It didn't feel any different on the inside, actually. After the tree was solid, Embera bashed it with her heel, shattering it into a billion pieces, causing the splintery diamond-dust to fall about the area.*
Embera: But intended destruction, I don't suppose anything gets prettier than that.

...intended destruction.
Footprints, silent and even, barely rise above the innate sounds of the winds rustling through the branches above. A Navi clad in black and platinum armor of almost frighteningly unique design. He walks forward and glances toward the destruction laid by the freezing torrent, looking it over carefully before he continues.
?: Even a child can wreak intended destruction. It is within the power of all to do so; the joy of some, and the curse of others. Creation is the true source of beauty to be coveted. Few can bring about its constructive power, and even fewer can appreciate it for what it truly is.
The Navi's head rises from the localized destruction as he slowly faces Embera, coldly turning his color-shifting eyes to her with a piercing gaze.
?: You are not what I expected.

*Embera continued sliding around whimsically, enjoying herself and her recklessness. The peace of mind was short-lived, as the colder presence of something watching her surfaced. Being called a child was only common to people that knew her, and as she turned around, almost excited to see a certain purple grenadier, Embera was instead greeted by this strange individual.*
Embera: Well, I created some snow so, y'know, silver linings.
*A chuckle escaped before she saw this strange look from his odd eyes. A tense feeling crept up her spine. What did he expect? The Abominable Snowman? She decided to play it calmly, to discern what this strange man's motives were.*
Embera: I get that a lot. There used to be a lot of fire in these hands, but now...it's ice. But you're not talking about the ice, are you? You said "you" what do you mean "I'm not what you expected?"

The Navi stands for a moment in thought, looking Embera over as he does so.
?: ...I'm not entirely sure. We've met before, but the details are somewhat scattered.
The Navi seems to strain as he looks into Embera's eyes, trying to recall a lost memory of a time.... a time when he was not himself? A warning.... a.... gift?
?: You were given something long ago, something that no other Navi has. Show it to me.

*Embera looked intrigued by this man. He no longer seemed threatening or imposing as he once did. There was this tension still, but Embera no longer felt any possibility for hostility from the navi. Trying to figure out what he meant, she then remembered her unique item. It was practically embedded into her. Not wanting to agitate the cross, Embera unzipped her collar to the top of her chest, revealing the blue-spined Somnium Cross*
Embera: Were you the "thing" that caused this strange gem to come into my possession? What exactly is this thing? It warps my mind when I sleep, sometimes for better, usually for the worse.

There it was. Just as much a the "curse" that the cross weaves over Embera's mind and body, the cross strikes a memory of a dream; a time divided, a time when words fell to nothing and actions were abstract at best.
?: It doesn't warp your mind.
The Navi's eyes, serious and focused, leave the cross and re-connect with Embera's, the cross lighting up at that moment.
?: I cannot fully explain that cross to you. My mind was incomplete when I gave it to you, as such my memories are weak. But I do know this; it was a warning, and the effects of this item do not warp your mind. All that this cross does is revert you to a state that would have allowed me to contact you again when I was able to. The warping that you experience is a side-effect brought on by your own subconscious mind, magnified and released by the semi-sleep that the cross grants.
...all of this still had an odd question that remained unanswered though...
?: The one thing that even I do not understand is this; why is it that you were the one who received my message? When I tried to reach out, I was attempting to make contact with Uriel.

*Embera looked intently at the man before her, listening to just what the cross was. This left her with more questions than answers as that was pretty foggy information.*
Embera: I don't understand what you're saying by warning, and magnification. What are you, a nerd? And I couldn't tell you why the cross even came to me. I fell asleep, was completely tormented mentally and emotionally, apparently by you and when I woke up, I had this...THING on me. It hurts so much at times, but I can't get rid of it. My body stops before I can throw it away. It's as if I'm throwing away myself, and my hand grips it tighter. I don't know what a Uriel is, but it's not getting the cross from me.

More walking.
He did not find what he sought, but rather in passing found something he knew.
Embera - and a mysterious navi.
No matter of his.
Continuing past, barely in peripheral of the two, was the one who called himself the King of Nothing - or sometimes - Viral King. Doing his best to leave a trail in the ground - in part due to the pain of raising his glimmering, hollow longsword - he waited for Rosario to follow.
Eventually a clearing was found a distance away from two of the most powerful beings on the net - a place to sit, a place to rest. And Finale did, sitting - then falling onto his back, observing the sun.
So long as it shone, life existed on earth - energy, converted to sugars and in turn plants and the animals that consume them. Something a little foreign to Finale - not only as a net-navi but as a virus.
He would bask in the sun - a slight chill down his spine, from simple proximity to the one of ember ice.

[smear:cccc00]Something odd occurs, but only after some time. As the unknown bearer of the nightmare trinket spoke to frosted fire, he would feel a benign heat. The trinket began to glow with odd colour - reacting to Embera's presence - an ETERNAL HERO, ETERNAL FAILURE. What was with this? If its bearer could sense power - it was one not of this world. Not of any world. The program outside time had left this with Yami - a reminder of what came before - of Heroes. And yet, here it was, paradoxically with the one it would most belong to, and yet, the one who caused this mess in the first place.[/smear:00bbbb]

{>From Element City} Rosario started to step on branches as he entered a dense forest. Looking around, this seemed to be one place that wasn't greatly affected. Always leave it to nature to have the good spots huh.
Continuing on, he started to sense two new presences. He quietly dipped behind a tree to get a look in without being spotted. Rosario could see a heavily armored Navi with a fragile one... playing in the snow? No matter the case, if they were enemy, he would be too weak to take them on. After more observing, he noticed that the royal looking navi from before had left a trail in the ground with their sword. Rosario decided to follow it from a distance of the original path to avoid the two navis.
Finally, Rosario reached a clearing where the sun shined strong. He noticed the navi he was with was basking in the sun. Rosario went over to them and sat down on their left side. Eventually, he found himself lying back as well, fully soaking in the sunlight.
"What a beautiful area. It's surprising to find such beauty on the Net. I would never get to explore much, so it is my first time getting to see something like this. Have you had the opportunity to do this often?"

"We live in an all too violent world, I'm afraid."
The lazing navi retorts, allowing Rosario to come to his own conclusion.
"You don't get to see much of the network? Why's that?"

"I've never been outside my PET much. I was always helping with homework or calender planning. Despite being his main navi, he always played around with her more. I spent countless hours on my small town's Comp, busting the viruses and sparring the navis of my operator's friends. One day they all told my operator that he should bring me into the Net Battler Grand Prix for once because I would do amazingly with my combat skills. So he took me and we won together, but that would be the last time I saw him. Because now I'm here, all my winnings gone, with injuries severe enough to hinder my combat capabilities greatly."
Rosario was sitting up now as he held his hand up against the blazing sun.
"I'm perfectly okay with this though. I can now have the adventures I've always wanted, and train with who I please. It's quite amazing, actually. Just like a story you would find in a child's book. The hero rises, then falls, then is finally set free."
Rosario looked over to his company.
"My apologies. It seems I got a little carried away."

“I shall have to wait for my answers to come...”
A simplistic reassuring thought as Megami appeared in the Forest Network. As a simple beam of light formed the beautiful, angelic female, she had taken baby steps from her position. Her hesitance as clear as day to anyone who may have spotted her walking amongst the trees that shaded her path, and the bushes that reached for her near perfect sculptured body. The female brushed them aside in a forgiving hand gesture as if she was calming their fanaticism as she walked through the forest unaware of the many presences.
Who could blame her?
The female NetNavi was oblivious at the very best. She felt faint auras within the area, but she could not pinpoint them...nor did she care to. Megami’s mind was lost in thought towards the most recent happenings: her faded memories, her relationship with her Net Operator, and not to mention her most recent dealing with the mysterious shadows that promised her information. It was all so sudden, yet it felt like she was missing a huge chunk of story that someone was not telling her! Except, the one person that felt like was lying to her was herself. How could she fix this?!
“...but...do I want them to?”
She paused in her walk.
The beautiful thin rays of sunlight that pierce the veil of leaves in the Forest Network calmed her usually. Today was different however. Megami did not think of Green Town, Xenneth, or the shadowy figure who she contracted with; rather she only thought of her very own self. For once, she thought of her actions and what effect that they would have on the people she loved! Would she be a burden to them or Xenneth? Would the pieces of her memory she lost be vital to remembering friends, her purpose, a part of her she needed to know?
It was all too much to handle alone. She regretted telling Xenneth to explore while she waited and saying she would be alright alone.
“I cannot let Xen-kun worry,” she exclaimed as she continued her pace, “That is simply my job and my job alone! I must comfort him, protect him, and fulfill his...my...duty.”
She repeated her role as if it was etched on a piece of wood and hung in a familiar room. However, the female NetNavi knew in her heart that she craved more: so much more!
Think of this, she slowly walked through the forest, oblivious as she approached the sight of two NetNavis in the distance speaking to one another. A fiery aura that felt familiar to her heart and a mysterious figure whom she had not even the slightest clue of ever knowing. It would take simply the turn of a cheek to see her coming from the shadows of the reaching branches that poorly coveted her arrival.

"Hm..."
Rosario looked away from his company and looked towards the forest path they walked from.
"It appears another Navi has entered this area..."
He looked back to the tattered and torn Navi by his side.
"Should we be worried? I am too weak to detect whether they are friend or foe."
