*Not bad at all, he had managed to evade it effectively. If he hadn't lost focus there, he would've been just fine. He knew that the crimson warrior wasn't known as he was simply for being a good and just navi after all, almost taking the feint for an attack even rather than being used to evade his assault. Another feint followed it, the wave being shot upward to guarantee that their close combat was held, something that was fine with him. Raising his left arm as he hit the side of Zero's arm to blow the punch, the kick to the knees had caught him relatively off guard, buckling slightly as he began to lose his balance. However, balance was one of the things he required the least at the time, a smile coming to his face as a black aura flowed forth from his sword and began to encompass his body as both the thrust and the kick made contact, Genesis' head moving along with it as he stayed in this position for a moment of time. Alright then, it was time to take it fully serious then if Zero's words were to be held in full.*
"Then I'll reveal to you, the first rise."
*Genesis' cloak bursts into shards of data before forming a sort of half cloak that wraps around his neck and flows down and is tossed about by the winds similar to a scarf more than a cloak. His armor covered by a crimson glow, his sword having a pale white aura around it with the symbols on the onyx blade flashing. Marking the start of the Exodus, he would give Zero just what he had asked for then. Staying on par with the swordsman in speed was enough of a feat alone, so he would take care of that issue now, thrusting his sword into the ground as the same tornado of plasma energy that blasted out before did now. Only this time, it was four times as large, the tornado spreading out and engulfing the surroundings before Genesis shot off, pulling his sword loose along with him before he merely swiped it at thin air. His target wasn't Zero this time, a tear in the space behind Zero opening before a blast tore loose, cascading behind the warrior and rocking the area before Genesis brought his blade forward in a swipe from the right. His left hand however moved directly afterward, a clawed strike coming out and aimed directly for Zero's stomach as he slammed the claws into him, firing a blast out right after before he picked the legendary navi upward, kicking up away as a blast tore loose from his leg, pushing Zero further along and into the tornado that continued to grow in size. It would start to decrease soon, but he wanted to see how the hero would handle his present situation.*

[bgcolor=A0A0A0]*The force with which the claw had taken Zero was nearly incomprehensible. Everything had seemed to be going so well, too. He couldn't have simply evaded the blow, with the whirling energies keeping him all but stationary, so he had to settle for a simple parry; perhaps it would have worked, too, knocking his opponent's blade away and keeping himself safe, had it not been followed by the vicious blow from Genesis' off hand. Now, hurtling through a tornado of deadly energy, Zero needed to right himself, and he needed to do so fast, or what started as a simple duel would turn deadly in a hot minute*
Zero: Time to get creative...[/i]
*Twisting his body to face the center of the tornado, the warrior locked his gaze on the next burst of incoming plasma energy. Covering his right side with his arm and his raised knee, Zero positioned his frame in such a way as to be impacted full-force by the blast. He grits his teeth and closes his eyes before impact, preparing himself for the oncoming unpleasantness. It took all of his self-control coupled with the pain of the blast to resist making a terrible joke about riding the storm as he is carried outside of the tornado by the plasma, landing awkwardly on both legs and immediately rolling backwards. So much for sticking the landing*
Zero: Perfect. This is the type of battle I live for!
*The blasts released from Zero's buster had an odd, snake-like quality to them, which would have been of much greater note had their path not been so bizarre. Instead of making a beeline for genesis, the shots snaked through the air immediately around Zero, wrapping themselves in concentric circles about his body. Holding the Z-Saber by the hilt and remaining totally motionless, Zero closes his eyes and nods, as if beckoning Genesis to begin his next assault*[/color]

*Using the forced of his own blast to get out of the larger attack was a nice method to use. It presented its own forms of danger and yet when performed correctly gave them the result that they had right now, crimson eyes watching the awkward state that Zero's shots had gone in. He was used to them being fired in a straight line, but now they were coiling around their master in a rather unorthodox method. He supposed he'd have to figure out what they were for the old fashion way. Genesis' sword became engulfed in energy, thrusting the blade as a massive blast was let forth, the blast headed straight for Zero before Genesis jumped upward, firing another blast at him from above before he fired another, this one faster than the previous two and colliding with the first he had shot from the ground, causing the explosion to be let forth and rock the area at twice the amount of force. In the time the explosion rocked the area and the other blast went to meet his challenger, Genesis retracted his blade, the blade returning into his arm at this point. He would call upon Fate again soon enough.*
*Shooting off directly at Zero now, he instead took to circling around him instead. Picking up the pace more before he held out his hand, a blast being let loose before it happened in rapid succession, letting loose a barrage of attacks upon the crimson warrior before he changed his pattern, ceasing his circling before his arm flashed over once, closing what was left of the distance between himself and Zero and striking down with the same claw from before. Using the left arm as a half feint and half attack, the right arm tearing forward from below with the same intention from before, striking him and then blasting him off into the distance. The tornado that was engulfing the field dying down now, waiting for the Crimson Warrior's move. He'd unleash his full onslaught in his next go with all of his finest arts to bear. Letting loose a small ball of red light, the ball soaring off into the skies and out of sight. He knew that the upcoming assault would prove to be the greatest shock that the savior would receive from him, in more ways than one.*

[bgcolor=A0A0A0]*Hearing the blasts ring out from Fate, Zero, eyes closed, motions to each shockwave as it nears him. With terrifying screams, the energy sizzling around his body leaps forth to meet the blasts, offsetting their power and neutralizing the assault. Preparing himself as Genesis approaches, Zero attunes his mind to the motions of his opponent, carefully studying his movement pattern and predicting each of Genesis' next moves*
Zero: Come on, just a little closer...
*The blasts coming in from all directions put a monstrous strain on Zero's defensive plasma matrix. A few of the blows manage to make it through, and with each impact Zero's defensive stance becomes a little less sure. Through all of this, the swordsman's eyes remain closed. Then Genesis was upon him, finally within range, and Zero could wait no longer*
Zero: NOW!
*His eyes snap open. The left claw was off-center, not properly placed for a killing blow; there was no way that this was the oncoming attack, and Zero's study of his opponent confirmed his guess. Catching the feint with his off hand, Zero swings his Z-Saber into Genesis' other claw, beating back the savage blow and locking the two together. Zero grunts as he forces his legs into action, holding his opponent's arms apart and running directly up his foe's body, planting both feet in Genesis' chest. Letting loose all of his energy into his thrusters, Zero blasts away from Genesis, engulfing the overlord in the fires of his escape. Zero lands gracefully, but finally feels the pain of the battle dragging at his limbs, calling for him to give up*
Zero: I must admit, I'm pushed to my limits here... You're quite the warrior, Genesis. Quite the warrior indeed.
