Not too much of the hound's capabilities had been revealed yet, so he'd need to put everything into his swings when the window of attack finally came.
It's rampage was compounding during each of its assaults, forcing Warrior to invest more and more into surviving it, but he could wager that this meant that it was on a timer that was gradually burning out. Having free reign to focus purely on defending rather than attacking worked in Warrior's favor, but the next challenge was going to be whether he could still balance the two scales once the opening arrived.

It seemed as if both sides had reached an equal agreement on their attacks working on the other. In light of the constant attacking that had happened, both hadn't budged as a result. To make up for this, the claws on its hind legs began to move as it started to lower its body, the moon in the backdrop beginning to change. Now came finishing the fight before it got to take advantage of its next move, or face the next part of this lunar cycle.
Invigoration An enhancement to another, amplifying the target as necessary for the situation. A talent Mistair can spread across many, and one that she takes a fair deal of pride in. Effects: Varied based on three specifications chosen, each effect taking place over the next three turns for the duration of the battle. Version, Karma, Element chosen.

Warrior was confident that he could delay it just a little longer while lashing out at his full strength now -- the beast's own preparation making way for him to dedicate everything into his offensive this time, which he'd do in earnest.
The familiar pillar of energy welled up from inside him and affixed itself atop his blade as he held it skyward -- that same energy spilling out of every swing as he lashed out relentlessly at the opposition now, holding nothing back now that he had made it this far.

The last flickers of the rage was used to fend off even the familiar pillar of light, the wolf visibly changing colors back to its original hue before the red rage fueled its entire being. But it howled once more, the moon beginning to reach a crest again and the familiar red almost preparing to realign with it. The time to attack was now, in order to break the moon's cycle and win the battle before it reached an entirely new level of fury to use against them.

As the wolf fended off his last assault, Warrior's Temporal Control rolled back the digital clock and left his previous attacks to hang in the air, waiting for the opponent's defensive measures to time out before resuming them again.
Now was watching to see whether the gambit paid off.
