It certainly wouldn't take her long to deal with the foes that were on this road. But if nothing else it looked like she wouldn't need to do that herself, as Warrior was on his way over. This fight would also a lasting effect on someone else who was turned into something of a garden variety object because of the first foe here.

Warrior was less familiar with Mistair's capabilities than Genesis or Vanguard would have been, but finding her here meant he'd step up to help regardless. He was further oblivious that this particular Medusa figure had put Cherish into a particular predicament, but again, even if he did have that knowledge, he wouldn't be any less confident stepping up against it.

And he was ready to act immediately as the snake came charging at him, bringing its attention squarely onto himself and evading it appropriately. His sword sparked with a red glow and an interruption-resistance bubble spawned around him as he clearly planned to get straight to the point here. Saving Mistair's strength for later would be ideal anyway while he handled the smaller fry.

It made sense he would come to her assistance first since he was more acquainted with Vanguard and Genesis, though it could have been that he simply was saving the fire path for last and chose the wood path because of different reasons. Either way he had seen one way to resolve the matter and if he was familiar with myth, another way given what was coming next.

Regardless, shielding his eyes with his blade, the snake-woman would see her own image in its reflection, recreating the folklore tale of the Medusa's demise if this all went as planned. To ensure their triumph, he'd use that blade to cut away the smaller snakes so that they could clean up the mess on the field if they so desired -- or leave it for the next in line, provided they didn't alter it themselves.

It was a sound play as Mistair raised her defense to halt the gaze as the reflection turned her to stone to be shattered by the sword that followed. The snakes would follow its herald, and in their stead grass formed as a goat-like fighter landed down next, growing larger on the grass before he leveled his horns and charged, raking them across the field with impunity. Following each strike were shadows that did the very same deed.

Mistair would get the hint and remove that just before Warrior conjured a field of ice to sweep over the field as he went straight into preparing his next offensive. If this goat's entry fee was anything to go by, then what was coming next was going to be far more than he could handle on standard terms.

The message was received and she took the necessary actions in order to best deliver them through what was coming next. And what was coming next was the goat fighter slipping away from the attacks as the shadows moved together, lining up as they raised their legs and began to kick in a veritable and unbelievable barrage to follow up what had started at the beginning of the fight. Warrior's preparation was correct, as he would need all of it to weather the onslaught that was headed his way next.

#s://i~imgur~com/dk4CQm0~png Needless to say, Warrior's speed was far eclipsed by the most ferocious farm animal he had ever met. Buckling down and deflecting the strikes was the only way through it, and he was fortunate to find the other side of that storm while still on one piece.
Black residual data from Nebula Grey collected in his palm throughout the ordeal, intending to end the madness with an explosion of darkness white the goat was mid-attack so that it had no time to evade. Ideally, that would see him through this time, as he was finding himself quite spent by now.
" I'll have to request more of your assistance going forward, Mistair. This is taxing me harder than I expected, I'm afraid. "
Up until now, he'd been at the front handling the situation head on while she stayed largely out of his way except for the support lent just recently. With one more opponent to go, and one that was expected to be the strongest down this path if the Aqua Road was anything to go by, he knew he was in no shape to keep pushing himself further. If worse came to worse, he'd just spectate Mistair's handling of the encounter to get a glimpse of what she was truly capable of, but he wouldn't be himself if he didn't push to the very end of his rope to see how he measured up.
It wouldn't be a proper "one vs one" this time though, as he invited Mistair to fully join him now and was poised to pass the full weight onto her if that's what was necessary. And if the goat still had more fight in it, he'd need to rely on her immediately to help finish it off as he was in no condition to endure another one of its onslaughts.

The reactionary result of Warrior's intentions shone through with proper results to catch the aggressive farm animal by surprise and neutralizing the threat for him instead of having to weather a constant barrage of fury. And with his request, Mistair was likewise able and willing to join in what was coming next. After all, it had its own issues with why things were going to be difficult moving forward.
"Got it. This one is a bit ferocious, so brace yourself."
What followed was a howling in the distance as the moon shone down on the battlefield, a wolf standing before them now on two legs and with elongated claws. The air was tense, and the situation bleak. The pressure emitted was enough to tell of the threat even if this hadn't been a fight that had the goat precluding it. What would be next would be a ferocious contest between two sides, and one would need to outlast the other to prevail.

A part of him thought that he would have rather fought the Geminis again and send Genesis to take care of this group, but it was working out well enough so far so he'd just stick to it.
The wolf showed no openings between its strikes for him to attack back, so he'd need to keep analyzing this one and take a defensive posture to endure its relentless attacks. Probing for a reaction against his counter-offensive is all that he would test it with for now, gauging whether or not it was safe to harass in its enraged state or if it was just better to wait until it winded down. Either way, this was going to be longer than his usual fights so he'd need to buckle down and be ready to weather it.

The invigoration would flow to offer Warrior renewed strength, and while it was in such a frenzy it was able to shrug off any attacks. The afflictions behind those attacks seemed to work however, as the dampening effect to the attacks at least took place even as it continued to swing its claws aggressively while aiming and firing a vulcan in rapid succession.

#s://i~imgur~com/dk4CQm0~png The slashes were more ferocious than before, as expected, but to say that he was prepared for the beast's arm to suddenly sprout a gatling gun couldn't be further from the truth. Having to exert more than usual, Warrior deftly evaded the shots while leading them away from Mistair to give her an opening as well -- one she used to the fullest by quickening him during his sprint.
His strike from earlier didn't merit much of a reaction, so heightening the pressure to the next increment would hopefully work this time as he sent several more lightning bolts to strike down toward the wolf. It seemed to appreciate his choice of terrain, but despite that, he'd need to keep it down lest it choose a more ideal field to fight on. That put him on a clock of sorts, however, as he certainly keep control over it forever, so he needed to unravel its paradigm as quickly as possible to see this through.

Electricity was dancing up Mistair's arm now, seeing as the frenzy of the wolf was almost at an end and would mean that what would come next would be making sure it was taken down before it could manage to regain such a rage. It changed hues to a red as it began to wag its tail back and forth relentlessly, moving and slicing wide with the claws again and again while mixing in uppercuts as well now, followed by a mighty cross-cut with frost time and again with the aim to mitigate any further resistance against it.
