...well, the world was going straight to hell again, and the populace is panicking. It looks like an invading force is here to kill everyone, and it seems that the WWW is rushing to prove themselves to still be "the big boy on the block".
What a perfect day.
Just off of the Undersquare exists a peculiar place. Its entrance isn't easy to find, but those who do will discover something... strangely wholesome. Nestled in the darkness of the Undernet is, of all things, a neighborhood. Lit by a simple orb of light in the sky, it's been fashioned to appear as something of kin to a small town, complete with houses, shops, and other facilities that one might expect. Accessible only via a rail-way, this sub-network is home to a small population of normal Navis ranging from common heels to official Navis to common normal Navis, all with their own homes. And it's here where we find one particular normal Navi.
Local: It was great seeing you again, call if you see any more!
Standing at the doorway to one of these houses, the normal Navi named Local laughs with a heel Navi before waving goodbye, having obviously just helped with an unknown problem. Done with his work, he looks up to the sky for a moment and gives a smile... or, at least, he would if his face wasn't stuck in one singular expression. Regardless, he gives a nod to the sky and walks from the home that he'd just visited with an obviously happy demeanor. He turns the corner with a light-hearted step, and comes face-to-face with a Bunny virus.
The two look at each other for a few moments, both obvious shocked at this turn of events. Local then takes a look around the area with a swift swing of his head, seeing the other locals all out and about, doing their own things... and not paying attention to him or this rogue virus at all. Whew!
With a laugh under his breath, Local walks up and grabs the virus by the metallic, ear-like loops that protrude from its head. The virus immediately starts to panic, shooting out sparks in all directions in response to being handled in such a manner, but soon Local hoists the Virus into the air, spins it around... and sits it on his shoulders. The Bunny looks half panicked at its new vantage point and starts to try to get down, but then Local reaches his hand up towards the little maleware bit and opens his palm to reveal a bugfrag. The two go quiet again for a time as the Bunny looks at Local's hand, but soon it reaches out and grabs the glitched data for itself, becoming pacified as it happily eats.
With the situation now under control, Local reaches back and pats the Bunny virus on its head a few times before returning to his walk along the sidewalks of this strange network, happily carrying his new friend along for the ride in this peculiar place.
